Our new favourite Chinese takeaway 👍🏼

Without a doubt the Chicken Curry from here is the best I’ve eaten. Love the addition of peas and mushrooms.

Food was great, even much better than we expected! Definitely will order again!)

1st time here got a small donner meat and a small chips cheese and gravy the donner meat was a dry as anyfin and bloody awful and the chips and gravy was the worst it went in the bin I will not be goin there again

food was terrible frozen chips from chippy. no fish hardly in fish just batter 18 pound terrible asked 4 refund but just eat won't give me 1 terrible

I had to go to the pizza place next door because it's cash only! Crazy not to accept normal contactless payments in 2024 it's probably for money laundering reasons. It's a shame because I love Chinese chippy chips...

Unfortunately the only good item was the ribs, and even the sauce for them was a little slimy. The salt+pepper chips and chow mein were both stodgy and under seasoned, we ended up throwing it out.

Chicken & Ham Fried Rice was very good.

17 pound for one meal and I was so gutted ! The egg fried rice was so dry and tasteless and more importantly the supposedly crispy chilli chicken … was just so chewy and big massive clumps of chewy chicken in a not hot sauce and again barely any flavour ! I tried to call the restaurant to try and complain and couldn’t get through both times

I ordered for the first time today and it was all very tasty. I especially liked their take on a battered sausage.

Orders at 6.15 it didn’t turn up until nearly 8.15 absolutely appalling waiting for nearly 2 hours

Was definitely not worth the wait kept getting postponed and food was not enjoyable won’t be going back

If it wasn’t as late as it was I would have rang to come and take the food back! Special fried rice the meat was hard and dry the prawns were the size of rice grains and I asked for the hot curry sauce but was given some red sweet sauce! I’ve always rated bluebell but will not be ordering again!

Perfect as usual can never find any fault with this place wouldn't eat anywhere else.

Food was really nice soup lovely as was the vermicelli. My only small gripe would be portions were small compared with some other decent Chinese takeaways. I'd still order from here again.

Always the best crispy beef in hot sauce. Was even better today. Husband loved his hot and sour soup and salt and pepper Sui mai. The best 😋

Worst food I’ve ever ordered locally. Salt and pepper chips where proper grim and same goes for the the salt and pepper Sui mais. Veg spring rolls were a joke, order them they are hilarious. Duck was cremated. Head’s fell off. Waste of money, literally didn’t eat any of it. Glad really because I’d of probably died

Food was ok nothin special,chips were not proper chippy chips like frozen chips had beef curry the so-called beef didn't taste like beef infact it was tasteless!

Disappointed with the price paid and quality of food. Spring rolls and nuggets soggy and chips aren't freshly made, frozen chips used.

Not the best chips where warm ups pie was under cooked wont go here again.

Hot a beef curry & a chicken chou mein there last night & food was quite good & the staff were pleasant enough & although it was close to closing time the food didnt take too long to prepare so I'll try it again sometime 🙂

Because I've told the truth about their food being cold a few times, they have taken my order and money then realised I've said it's been cold previously and now declined my order. And guess what I can have my money back in 3-5 days, yet they have got it now. Terrible Chinese woman on the phone, her attitude stunk.

Tasty, freshly prepared dishes. Went to collect- quicker than delivery on Saturday. Will recommend. Welcoming and helpful staff.

The only thing this place has going for it is its hygiene rating which means at least I wont be getting poisoned. The food is genuinely shocking. A chippy that cannot cook chips is one to be avoided. Instead of proper chips you get oven chips deep fried, dry, bland, oily and in a bag like you used to get sweets in so they are all stuck to it. The meat in the special fried rice is from a freezer and dry, the price is more than any place on the Wirral and to top it all off, the 'reviews' on just eat are largely from the same 5 people copy and pasting over and over again. Count how many times Ronnie, Tina and Clare have left a review of 5 stars

I've ordered from here a few times and its usually been great, but this time my fish was mostly batter. It will be a very long time before I order from here, if I ever do. Really disappointed.

chips are oven chips and not chip shop chips, crispy shredded beef was well overcooked and tasted dry, cantonese sauce was nice and egg fried rice was nice, wouldn't recommend otherwise. portion sizes are poor and after spending 12 quid was barely enough for 2 people. much better quality food and more of it from other local chippys. bluebell you need to up your game!

"New management" but still the same poor service, so slow to deliver, I suggest looking elsewhere if you're hungry as you'll not be bothered by the time the food arrives.

Ordered via Just Eat. Food arrived a little early but was beautifully cooked an really well presented. Would highly recommend this place. Will be ordering from them again soon.

Fancy some nice chippy chips? Well, you're visiting the wrong establishment. The chips are without a doubt bought from a near supermarket then threw into the deep fryer. Over cooked and just a shell. A chip shop is only as good as their chips, and if the owners are incapable of putting in the effort to peel some potatoes than it sets an extremely low bar for the rest of their food. Fish cakes too are most defiantly out of a bag found in any frozen isle of your local supermarket. I'll be surprised if Bluebell actually makes anything in house. Delivery is extremely slow you'll be better off visiting Iceland buying the same chips Bluebell offers and popping them in the oven, and you'll still have time to eat them before your Bluebell order will arrive. Ordered twice about 3-4 months apart, so its not an isolated incident the experience was the same for both orders. They only received a second order as I'd forgotten it was Bluebell I had ordered from in the first poor experience the moment the misses asked where I had ordered from and reminded me about the prior experience we both placed our heads in our hands. Its that poor.

Love this chippy. But today bbq sauce n prawn mushroom spilt open. So tried to to jiggle meal. Rang to complain n was told return meal. Cudnt of returned meal as it went everywhere. Not happy

Absolutely disgusting, The food was cold, especially the soup. There was that much bbq sauce on my rice was more like bbq soup rice! There was more onions then chicken on the salt and pepper chicken. This is completely over-priced for what it is! The customer service is disgusting when ringing up to make them aware, they would not accept any criticism saying its "impossible" and ended with them hanging up the food! Do yourself a favour and find somewhere better!

Why offer a vegi option, then cover the meal in gravy. Avoid this place if you are vegetarian! Collected the meal, shouldn't have to drive back to resolve their mistake. Meal binned.

Lovely food only 5star in Birkenhead

Love this takeaway. Food is always gorgeous and hot. Have never had a problem. Fast delivery. Crispy duck is perfect. Think can be bit expensive as need to pay extra if want chips or rice with meal where most places they come free.

Ordered food at 7.15 it arrived at 8.55!!!! I cancelled the order with just eat because I was so fuming. Don't bother ordering!

Decided to try this takeaway for a change, stick to what you know in future!! Hot & sour soup was tasteless still trying to find some flavour, even the meal had no flavour special chilli garlic, nothing special about it....it was awful!!

Great service, relatively quick delivery. Had issues with a refund from Just Eat because they closed without notice so I'd just pay on the door if I were you.

Food is delicious, especially the salt and pepper beef. Never had a bad meal from here and believe me l order lot of take out

Ordered on justeat. It took an hour to arrive. Quite a long time really and not normal for a Chinese takeaway delivery service. The prawn toast was cold, floppy and totally vile. The chicken and sweetcorn soup was gelatinous and so thick I could hardly put a spoon in it. The Thai special noodles were neither remotely special or Thai. They also forgot the drink. Overall it cost me a whopping £14.50 for not much food that took an hour to arrive and when it did it was inedible with part of the order missing. When I complained they tried to charge ME an extra £1 to send the driver back?! Never again!! The driver however is very pleasant. The manager could well do with taking some customer service tips from him!!

The food is good, I love the crispy chicken in OK sauce. Arrived a little early too! We would definitely order from here again.
