I ordered smashed avocado toast, was amazing and big cappuccino, however, my coffee had burnt taste , unfortunately. Other than that no issues . Not bad for the airport

Service is prompt, polite, and enjoyable. The cocktail was well made. The food, however, is a travesty. As an American, this is the worst fish and chips I’ve ever eaten…and I have eaten fish and chips in a lot of places. The fish is over-fried and dripping grease. The chips are simultaneously soggy and too hard to eat. I had more enjoyable fish and chips in Afghanistan.

Worst place to be. Sitting here for half an hour still no one came to take an order. Seems they are too busy to look at customer sitting without any order.

The beer was very tasty and we also ate well. I had a really good tasting Tandoori Chicken Masala

Opens at 0600. Fine, but other restaurants are open earlier. Get shown to seat and told that kitchen will be ready in 15 to 20 minutes after 0600. What is the point of this in an airport when people's time is limited? If you say you open at 0600 then make damn sure the kitchen is ready to go at 0600.

Our server, Ioana, was the sweetest girl in the whole place. The green Thai curry is one of the best I've ever had! The only downfall was seeing another server (male) drop a fork on the floor, pick it up, and put it back with the other silverware! If you have an autoimmune issue or just like not knowing, get plasticware.

Ioana was wonderful and attentive. Food was incredible! We had fish and chips, and a burger.

I ordered a plate of tomato gnocchi with courgettes and peppers and I received a dish, which disgusted me as it was spicy. I had to finish it because my flight was about to leave and I wouldn't have had time to ask for another dish and I arrived home after midnight. when a dish is very spicy you have to write it to warn the customer. And chili peppers are different than peppers. I ordered sparkling water and received filtered tap water which I clearly did not accept. But You also need to notify the customer when you take the order, before serving it.

Of the few actual restaurants in Heathrow Terminal Five, this is my favourite. The food is spot on and arrived quickly. I enjoyed the chicken burger and chips. Plenty of alcoholic beverages are available. They do all the British classics very well. The fish and chips and curry both looked fab too. Staff are very efficient which can make you feel a bit rushed but I appreciated it as I didn't have a lot of time before my flight. A little on the pricey side but it has become my default restaurant to go to in Heathrow Terminal Five. Highly recommended!

Ouch. £17.50 for a 250ml Sauvignon Blanc (cheapest Trebbiano is £13.35 a glass). Didn’t try the food. Were able to leave after being seated and a good time with the menu, before any service had materialised. Not impressed.

It was insanely crowded when I ate there and based on how busy it was I was expecting something barely edible but the food was actually really good. Servers did the best they could while being completely and utterly inundated with customers.

Good food. Nice place. Awful service. Walter is the worst un politecnico waiver ever known. We arrive and take place. We Are 4. We ask for advice and info on beer available. He does not know. Ok. We say we need some time to decide. Then we call him as we Are ready. All ready except for one still deciding what to drink. Walter says " you said you were ready. You make up my mind". He complained to a closer tale. Unpolite. Not at all professional nor serious. But we are on holiday and polite so no discussion. We order and eat. We ask for side dishes (3 main courses, we are 4...need to ask???) and after for napkins. He said " do you need something else I have to take"? That is: "ask all together and do not waste my time". When we were paying the bill, he was disapponinted since we want no tip for him. And we discussed. He said we were holding him and people was waiting for him. Not true. Just few seconds on a monday afternoon at the airport...seats available all around. But anyway not a justification to his rudeness. In the end he asked for our nationality (proudly Italian) and said " no wonder". We were wondering of such a rude waiver at an important hub as Heathrow. Hope meeting no more such a bad guy to serve at table and wasting people's mood. Ask for another waiver oif you go

Not from here so not used to the prices, but the fish and chips was just alright but I feel it wasn’t worth the price. Feel like the portion could have bit a bit bigger. Service was okay, but you can expect that being it’s in an airport. Overall was okay, not bad but not overly good either. Filled up the stomach for a long day of travelling

Clean and not too outrageously expensive. But the food is bad. The bread on my burger was completely burnt on one side. Really black! The cheese on the burger, however, was barely melted. And the fries were barely seasoned - except for 2 or 3 that were extremely salty.

Connected through Heathrow twice in October and ate here both times because the first time was so good. The staff is very cordial and attentive. My wife inquired about the salt content on one of the menu items and the waitress didn’t have an answer. 5 minutes later one of the kitchen staff came to our table and explained which items were premade and which the kitchen staff can control,then helped her pick something that fit her needs. You don’t often get that kind of service, especially in an airport restaurant. Highly recommend.

The pancakes tasted great and had a nice fluffy texture, bacon was cripsy and the syrup was great with them. Though the pancakes had some, resistance to them, still soft but not super soft. Tables were nice and had a good atmosphere for the late morning when I ate, service was friendly but slow though it was busy. I understand the price due to it being an airport but £16.50 inc VAT is still £16.50. Overall, they were great pancakes and definitely satified my cravings for them.

Most staff were rude, coffee was really burnt and awful taste and £11 for 3. Food served did not look appetising. Better off at the Nero coffee cart near itsu! If I could give 0 stars I would 🙃

They could pay a bit more attention to the food. I ordered a Cesar salad with chicken and the chicken was super cold and chewy. While I was eating they clean the table close to mine with a very strong smell. At Heathrow you can certainly find better

All I really have to say about this restaurant is it’s AMAZING! The food is cooked to perfection and tastes immaculate! The staff are very welcoming and friendly and can help you with all your needs! Definitely needs a visit next time your in T5.

I liked the place, there is a screen that shows you the flights so you don't have to go out. A beer costs £7.

Excellent Food and Service. No problems with that. My problem is with the POOR PAYMENT SAFETY. I paid with my Card and in the printed bill, I could see the FULL UNMASKED Credit card number with the expiry date. As per PCI compliance, customer card number should not be exposed. If I discard that bill, potentially, I could get defrauded. I told the waitress of same and asked her to relay my concerns to mgmt. I am also writing here hope its seen by the right people

Very GOOD breakfast and drinks with nice staff. A lot better than Wearherspoons is to use in T5. Flight was cancelled by British Airways. I was able to use the food vouchers I was given by the airline for another excellent breakfast here when they opened at 6 am. the next day. Thank you.

Rudeness of the staff took me by surprise. I asked for some tea to take away but the little bearded bar tender told me he was too busy to make tea. It was 7am and the place was half empty. It was clear the angry little man simply did not want to serve me. I decided to go to another place. Its 2024 and we still get this kind of prejudice

Extremely expensive, items on the order not delivered despite asking several times. Still attempted to charge us on the bill. Would not recommend at all.

They forgot our order, waited 50 minutes. The waiters don’t have / use an restaurant ordering system with a tablet or phone. They should definitely get such a system for even much busier days than today. The waiters were friendly and took off 20% off from the bill.

Rude staff, kept getting ignored, bare attitude

Slow service, unattentive staff, naff Christmas decorations, unimaginative food options, small portions. We ordered beers and two burgers, beers expensive but arrived promptly. We watched the burgers sit on the hot plate for approximately 10 minutes and had to tell the waiting staff in the end that our food was ready. Burgers just warm, chips cold - staff did offer to replace the food but we did not have time. Several staff members had walked past our food and were busy laying tables... won't return was ok last time, shame..

Ridiculous price for such a small glass of orange juice! 5£ for a juice poorer into a water glass! Disappointed at society nowadays. How should this feel normal to serve such small portions? Same for the food! Avoid this place!

First time here, and what an awful experience from this South Asian server ! I was in transit and went for coffee. The bill came, and i asked for the machine to pay by visa. The server brought the visa machine, and i tried to hold the machine so i could make the payment by entering the chip card and pin. But the server resisted giving me the machine and forcefully moved the tap side towards me, and since i was holding my card in my hand, the payment went on. I was coming from another country, and my bank had asked me to only use chip and pin and not to tap due to security reasons. But, due to this unprofessional and disrespectful server, the tap was used almost without my consent. Also, the server was unapologetic and was treating us as if we were not welcomed. Extremely unprofessional, rude, and unwelcoming server. I would give them zero star.

I was told to wait to be seated in a non-busy bar with open seats for single individuals. I just got ignored for 5 minutes so left.

Really expensive for what you get (Canadian over here!) I ordered the regular size eggs Benedict, it was SAD. Eggs were good but the sauce was cold, bread was hard, bland. I felt like there could have been a garnish? It was literally bread, egg, sauce, bacon.

Ate here on my way to and from Europe. The restaurant is conveniently located near the departure gates in Terminal 5 Gate 15. Both servers were friendly and attentive even while being busy. In the second go round we were warned that food time would be 25-30 minutes when we checked in but our order came out within 10 minutes max. Got fish n chips and English breakfast tea both times. Both times the fish was fresh and crisp and not greasy at all. Served with French fries that were real potatoes, tarter sauce made from scratch, and smashed peas. The portion is pretty large—was shareable for sure. It sure was delicious both times & tasted pretty authentic to me! Ordered the English breakfast tea with honey and milk—hit the spot.

Quick stop for burger and chips before flight was pretty good and I will be back again to try other items on the menu

Ordered a small item from the menu, charged me for a regular dish. No refund. Little info on the menu about what was included, all staff spoke poor English. Careful when you order and ask the staff to reiterate your order.... Don't get caught out!

Lady at the front was welcoming, sadly cannot say the same for everyone else. The guy was super rude, questioned how many drinks I had (it was 3 not 4) and thought I was leaving without paying. I assumed we paid at the front as nobody had come to give me a bill. I don't feel right leaving a tip after being barked at like that, so I didn't. I can tell the staff don't want to be there, I wouldn't want to work in a place like that either. The food isn't great but I never expect much from airports, just go to Wetherspoons instead, it's probably similar and definitely a bit cheaper.

Food was fine, and the servers were outstanding. But the cappuccino was the #1 reason to visit. After the chaos of Heathrow it was great to catch english breakfast before my long flight.

Food was good, but there was a male server who was rude to some and not to others. It was weird. I think I was charged extra for toast even though I asked for no toast.

Honestly I am disappointed and annoyed by the service I received tonight here. The staff initially were receptive (though not openly friendly) and it only got worse from there. Openly being short, disinterested and blatantly rude with me for a reason which to me is a mystery. The added insult comws from the staff being openly chatty and talkative with other dinners, who's conversations revolved around their extravagant and wealthy lifestyles... Hmm. I think summarised I get better service from the spoons staff at the other end of the airport, and I certainly shalln't be making my way back to the Pilot ever again. The food was good but not worth the cost at all

For an airport restaurant this was great. Yeah of course it wasn’t cheap but the food was actually good and the service was very friendly, always making sure to bring more water and that everything is okay. It is a great place to relax during a layover and way better than sitting in the crowded seats.

Nattasuda went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. Not only did she serve us with a smile, but she also noticed our drained phone batteries and offered to help us recharge them. This thoughtful gesture truly saved the day and showcased the staff's dedication to guest satisfaction. Rinaldo was another standout staff member who made a lasting impression. His friendly demeanour and attentive service left us feeling valued as patrons. He seemed to anticipate our needs before we even voiced them, adding a personal touch that elevated our dining experience. Pilots' attention to detail is evident in every aspect of their operation. From the charming decor to the impeccable cleanliness, it's clear that they take pride in providing a top-notch dining environment.

Food is ok. Nothing spectacular but not awful. We got the marg pizza and the fries. Nothing special to really say. Pizza dough was hard, felt like frozen pizza. Fries were decent. Service was meh. No personality or special attention from waiters. It wasn’t awful. Just nothing special that stood out. We came here just to fill up with some food before our 6 hr flight back home. I tend to have low expectations of airport food in general, as most people should. I don’t think I’ve ever been wowed by airport food.

Super restaurant T5 at end of row of shops. Quieter than most. Great atmosphere playing relaxing jazz music (I would that more cafes played jazz!). Friendly Indian waiter served me. Also a friendly lady. Had English breakfast 😋 eggs cooked to perfection 🥰 Didn't have to wait very long. Service good.

The food gets a 3 star only because my children enjoyed the pizza. However over £20 for a frozen pizza and £10 some lettuce & 1/4 avocado sold as a ‘super food salad’ . Don’t go there.

Had coffee and cake with my family. Service was glacial. Prices at the top end for what it is, the usual Heathrow mark up being well and truly in place. Coffees actually pretty good. Carrot cake seemed ok at the time but soon gave two of us dicky tummies. I won’t be using this place again. I don’t object to paying a premium given the location, but the quality and service need to be orders of magnitude better than this.

Came for a quick bite to eat before my flight, and a few of us each ordered the coffee and cake deal for £6.95, which today was gluten free carrot cake. They sadly don’t do iced lattes or any sort of iced coffees which is my usual favourite in the summer, which was disappointing considering the advertise their range of coffees. My regular latte was okay, milk slightly overdone and nothing too special. Cake was okay, however slightly warm considering it was stored on display at room temperature? A few of us commented that we thought it was definitely a few days old/on the brink of being off which wasn’t great. Service was surprisingly slow considering it’s an airport restaurant and it wasn’t very busy, with our table’s order of only cakes and coffees? If you’re just after a quick bite, I would recommend checking out the cafe Nero opposite the restaurant instead, products are better quality, served more quickly and also cheaper! However other peoples’ proper meals did look promising, so if that’s what you’re after this may be better suited but make sure to allow plenty of time.

So I discovered this place when I was roaming around duty free looking for somewhere to have breakfast at 6am whilst waiting for my flight. Located in terminal 5, Heathrow airport.. it’s tucked away In the corner right at the end of the row of luxury stores. The food was SO good!! Well, I Enjoyed the Turkish eggs. They are to date one of the best I’ve had.. so I definitely recommend this place if you are looking for this kind of breakfast! I also ordered salmon Tartine, it was nice however I did find the bread a little hard to cut and chew! The service was great, quick and responsive. Perfect for those of us in a rush to get up and go if your running late for your flight. The atmosphere was nice a calm, a chilled out environment. Perfect for waiting until your ready to board your flight.

Avoid to eat here! Worst customer service, bartenders ver rude. We were here on July 4th in the morning at the bar and when we went to order a plate in the menu, I asked for gluten free due to an allergie (which they have) but the bartender was very rude telling us that we needed to let start with that (which we did, since I asked if they had the avocado toast on gluten free), but he continue complaining and yelling about it. We decided not to eat since he was so rude, so he got mad and then responded to us in Spanish “gracias” like making sure that we knew that we were not from UK. That was an act of discrimination which we haven’t feel for a while. London has a lot to learn about diversity and people from all over the world.

A great place to come and grab something to eat while waiting for your next flight. We were greeted by the waiters and seated straight away. A good range of selection of good food on the menu! I ordered the club sandwich and it did NOT disappoint!!!!! There was so much flavour within the layers. We also got a grilled peppers, olives Woodfire pizza, but unfortunately the taste was no there. Just tasted like rubbery cheese and pops of tomato. I can say it is on the more expensive side of dining out - considering I am originally from Australia and comparing it to prices back home In saying this, good vibes in a busy airport!

I just paid £16,60 for a glass of house Sauvignon Blanc and £3,30 for a glass of tap water on ice. You expect airport prices, overcrowding and slow service in a place like this. And it's OK. But this pricing is obscene.

Is your experience that airport restaurants are bad and expensive? Rest assured this is no exception. Had a chicken burger that was so tough and dry it must have been sitting in an oven for ages. Not recommended. Waitress was nice though.

I had smashed avocado this morning no eggs as the kitchen wasn’t serving hot food. One piece of toast with thinly spread avocado with a few pieces of cut tomatoes, cost £16.00 ! I mentioned this to the staff , the reply “this is the price” outrageous

Great place for a meal or drink before your flight at T5. Its tucked away down the end of the terminal but can still get busy. The prices are usual airport prices but the food is a notch up from your standard fayre. The breakfast is one of the best I have had anywhere. The quality of the ingredients is very high indeed. Proper high end butchers sausages, maple cured back bacon that has such a great flavour, free range eggs. I have seen other food come out from the kitchen that looks the same quality and had a Pilot burger on my last visit which was extremely meaty and very good indeed. Service was excellent. Highly recommended.

Always come here when flying from terminal 5. Bit more expensive, but great food and coffee and away from the crowd.
