Amazing location (less than 2mins walk, directly across from Bolton train station). Friendly, approachable, professional, informative staff. Great selection of drinks at an affordable price

Comfortable, interesting and welcoming surroundings. Clean appearance. Simple food at very reasonable prices very nicely served. Lounge furniture as well as tables for meals make you want to extend your visit.

This is a lovely place. It is well laid out with sit-up tables if you want that or low comfy settees around coffee tables if you prefer. It is wheelchair accessible and has an excellent disabled toilet for customers. I had to wait a little while for my food as it was freshly cooked and the very friendly waitress called Katy had others to serve first. The meal I had was excellent quality and value. My only criticism is the lack of hash browns on the menu. Will definitely return again.

Me and my partner were not impressed with the service provided or the food for that matter. I found multiple hairs in my (burnt) food and the staff were very rude, will not be returning.

Visited this place whilst on business very basic but adequate and very cheep. Wouldn’t say the staff were particularly good just did their job and were not looking to impress. Probably wouldn’t go again !

I visited here on Sunday afternoon with a friend for 2 coffees and a bacon sandwich. The young girl charged me £6:40 but was unable to work out the change. She also informed me that it would take a few minutes as they were doing 2 breakfasts. From where we sat we could see the breakfast being prepared. No gloves or tongs were being used to plate up,the food. Very concerning. Anyway 15 mins later we received our coffee, then a bone dry hard bread role with overcooked bacon.Real shame. Lovely surroundings, but dreadful service.

What a discovery, freshly made sandwiches coffee and real pots of tea, if you're after a quick in and out they will accommodate but this place has been set up to go in and chill out, really relax in good clean and comfortable surroundings, the whole front of the shop opens up on sunny and warm days so the outside is also the inside, great to watch the world bustling on by. No menus as yet as they say they are still developing their offer but that said menu boards are updated regularly, internally. Has a front of house and a relaxing lounge in the rear with access at the back for people coming from Morrisons car park. Student style single room accommodation pods available at the end of July at reasonable prices, owner also feeds the homeless in a selfless act of charity. I had a five item breakfast for £3 and a pot of tea for a pound, slice of lemon drizzle cake was heavenly and all for only a fiver, value and comfort.

We decided to try the tavern as it had been highly recommended by friends and we weren't let down. The food is excellent and couldn't be faulted, the staff were so happy and polite and for a busy Sunday you couldn't ask for anything better. I can highly recommend the lasange, it was fresh and could tell it had been homemade hats off to the chefs. The staff serving always had a smile on their face and made us feel at home. 10/10 on the desserts, we will most definatly be back in the near future.

Wasn't expecting much but it was the only one open. Very nicely cooked hot food, clean, pleasant staff and varied menu. Excellent steak pie (not tinned mince beef but steak) and generous veg.

Worse Harvester experience ever, decided to go for lunch after a positive hospital appointment to celebrate, we ordered steaks for the main meals with jacket potatoes, just before they arrived we were informed there were no jackets and had to make do with chips which we didn't eat, the steaks were very gristly and sauces were very watery. When we asked for the bill they wavered the cost which was the only positive thing about our experience, on the way home I had to stop the car to let my other half be sick after the meal, will not be going to this Harvester again
