Pierre Herme in Camden

Didn’t get a chance to try in Paris, but these were amazing. We tried 6 different flavours and loved them all. I’m not even really a chocolate person but the chocolate ones were perfection. Service was lovely, too.

Have been wanting to try these for so long and finally got the chance to. Was not disappointed, the products certainly live up to the name. The orange and basil flower macaron was incredible. Want to try the ice cream next.

I love French macarons and was excited to get some at this store. The service was very pleasant but my issue was the freshness and quality of the macarons. I bought 8 (7 different flavors) but ended up throwing the box out after trying four of them because they were all so dry and tasted stale and heavy. Incredibly disappointing.

Very good chocolate, but a super long wait I find

The macarons were too soft and sometimes bitter. Plus, only 4 macarons there cost £15 and down the road 6 cost £14. For the few it's not worth it and they don't really taste good. The ambience was okay and the service is good. However, this is pure fraud and is simply not worth it.

Stopped by for a quick taste on our way through Covent Garden. Just as delicious as we remember from Paris a few years ago. Great service, beautiful little store and of course the macarons were delicious.

The staff here are so wonderful, they give great recommendations & always let you know about new flavours available. They are super knowledgeable about what they sell. I love coming here for a treat, amazing customer service ☺️

The best macaroons in London ! We had the mandarin and olive oil, the raspberry rose and lychee, the pistachio, the lemon, the raspberry with candied raspberry, the Madagascar chocolate and the hazelnut one, all delicious and devoured within minutes after we paid. The packaging is also very elegant and the service is excellent.

In Paris these were so good, really tasty, but here they are crunchy. It’s not worthy. £2.6 each is a lot for a macaron that is crunchy like a biscuit. Probably won’t buy macarons from them again in the future.

Extremely mediocre! We got a box of 10 macaroons and they were insanely basic and not up to a standard of the name and the price that they ask for. Chewy, lacking in taste and overall supremely underwhelming in correlation to the names and the descriptions they present We also got the “Lait à la fleur de sel”, which is one of the most mediocre chocolates I have ever consumed in my entire life. I highly recommend that you skip this shop as only the branding is on point, everything else is simply to put, characterless.

I came by to try some macarons as Pierre Hermé is a very famous name known for macarons/patisserie. Firstly I have to say the people working were absolutely lovely. I had a nice conversation with the girl serving me and they were so friendly. I got the Infiniment Chocolate, Rose Caramel, Praline Pistachio and the Rose, Litchi and Raspberry - this one was my absolute favourite and had a great flavour. My main issue with these macarons was unfortunately they were crunchy and not full. For £2.60 per macaron I feel they need to be pretty much perfect and so I was quite disappointed they were crunchy and had air pockets, expected better. Overall nice to try but I've had a lot better macarons for cheaper in my own city, didn't live up for me sadly!

Unfortunately it's not the first time I've bought macarons from Pierre Herme that are not chewy, but instead are biscuit-like and crumbly. The macarons were cracked and I pointed it out to the lady at the counter, but she assured me that they were fine. They were not fine. It's a real shame because when done well their macarons are great, but it's russian roulette to see if you're going to get a macaron, or an expensive biscuit.

I have spent probably over £400 for their products this year alone. One order was delivered during my friend's absence even if I think I specifically requested a different day so that somebody would be around. Well, Elena communicates when products are available or she wants to know something from me, etc., but she never responds in a situation like this. I sent another message asking about what happened, and of course she ignored. Very frustrating and disappointing. Elena, this type of behaviour or the lack of customer care will just end up with bad reputation for the store.

To be fair they have the best macarons in London, I've been always a regular costumer however today 8/12/2023 at 15:47 I was buying my usual Christmas gifts , I was queueing for a while the servant lady tall blonde with quite short hair just ignored me and started to serve others and she even doesn't have any responsibility to respect the costumer as pierre hermme shop I highly recommend that you choose employers who serves costumers carefully , it was really annoying,

Having had several times Macarons from Pierre Herme in Paris I was looking forward to have some when I found the shop in Covent Garden. Total disappointment with the Chesnut - Infiniment marron glace- being hard and flavourless. The Ispahan was a little better and more chewy, the Aria was again completely dry. A shame for what is supposed to be a treat. I am afraid I will no longer be buying from Pierre Herme in London.

Hot day out in London, you decide to go into an expensive, up market branded shop for some quality Ice Cream. You open the door to a faint fake smile with no greeting. You read through the menu, and you see the prices, you are instantly thinking you will be getting some good quality ice cream. You have chosen your ice cream, you ask for it, and to my surprise you can spend £7+ on ice cream, and we were given a little ice cream tub that the lady pulled out of a small tacky freezer that is over freezing the ice cream with ice on top, flakes of ice formed over the ice cream tub. And to their embarrassment quickly turning their back and scraping the ice off! No manners or thanking you for coming in the shop, not pleasant. From what was good of the ice cream that was rock solid and took around 5 mins just to loosen up, was ok tasting but not something I would go for again.

Brought a pack of 8 for £26 expecting something really special for that price. Unfortunately, they are just standard macaroons which are quite overwhelmed with sugar so you can’t taste most of the flavours. It’s nice but nothing special.

1st time trying macarons & this place was recommended as the best in London. Tried 6 flavors, very much enjoyed praline noisette, praline pistache and citron vert. Ispahan is an interesting flavor, definitely taste the rose. Everything tasted as if baked today, super fresh. Must try if a fan of macarons.

Definitely go and try lychee rose pound cake or macaroons!!

The macaron are not bad but not exceptional and 23£ for the smallest box to get given this very cheap looking paper … I would expect a higher quality than this piece of paper that isn’t even cut to the right size … even a thick recycled paper would look better

I love their selection of chocolates, so happy to find it in London.

I know that Pierre Hermé is a big name! But I did try a few macarons from this shop in coven Garden and I wasn’t impressed by the flavours

An amazing little shop not far from Trafalgar Square. They had 18 different kinds of macarons - I tried a half dozen. They were spectacular. I would definitely recommend a visit. Try the Infiniment Caramel or the Opera.

I love Pier Herme Paris, but this store has a very disappointing selection (no pastries, no lemon pond cake) and even my favorite jam (Ispahan), was missing. Macaroons are excellent as usual.

Really good macarons. The vanilla is my favourite, but the chocolate-passion fruit and the strawberry-yogurt are delicious too.

Best Macarons in London, been coming here for the last 7yrs. Much better than Laudre. They're a bit expensive but definitely worth it.

Really disappointed. I ordered a birthday cake and paid £10 for delivery. It was poprly pacakaged and arrived bashed up and cracked and looled horrible. The chocolate garnish on top tasted burnt and bitter. It was an overall really lousy birthday cake. I sent a complaint but have been completely ignored. Awful service.

We visited the store on Tuesday (03/05) in order to buy some for a gift. We have not tasted the macarons yet but I am aure they will not disappoint. I would like to give credit to the lady that serviced us though, she was very kind and she gave us some useful tips in order to transport them during our trip back. She even gave us a special bag in order to be stored safely even though she did not have to, so we highly appreciated it!

I love their Macarons!! Not too sweet, have some interesting flavours. I remember my first time to eat their macarons was in Paris, and I still keep that special metal box at home. I chose a 4 macarons box this time. If you don’t want any box, you still can buy macarons without any box, would be slightly cheaper too.

I bought the pistachio macaron and I absolutely loved it. They are so light yet so packed with delicate flavours - perfectly balanced and delicious! They are a little on the pricey side but you do get what you paid for - I certainly had no complaints!

It's been one of my favorite spots in Seven Dials area. Pistachio is my no 1, very very tasty and fresh. Always friendly and smiling staff is a plus. They were going to change working days, so you may find it closed on a Monday- give them a call before you visit if you are not sure.

Excellent chocolatier. Lose a star for not selling patisseries and cakes like the French branch so 5 stars (instead of 6 for the French 😛) They have ice cream too in the summer.

The rose, raspberry and lychee one was absolutely gorgeous!! Favourite one by far 😍 The passion fruit chocolate one was also quite interesting. Friendly and helpful staff who was happy to give recommendations.

The staff were lovely and the store is beautifully set-up. The prices are a little steep, but fair as the quality is high and Hermé is a fairly well-known brand for chocolates and other confectionaries. Worth the visit, in my opinion. (The rest of this is just a review of their macarons.) I visited this store after determining that - of the 8 or so top rated stores I visited - Hermé had the best macarons in Paris. I was fairly pleased with my purchase here in London as well. The texture of the macarons are perfect and they have a variety of delightful and interesting flavors available. However, I felt like the flavors were at times not strong enough - a little too much of the almond flour flavor came through on most of the macarons and in some cases overpowered the specific flavor of the macaron itself. A little disappointing, but they were still very good. The macarons here are certainly better than those at Ladurée in Covent Gardens.

No me gustaron las cajas de regalo expuestas, ya que eran un poco chillonas para mí. Pregunté si había algo más y la señora dijo que no, aparte de una caja que quedó de Navidad. Luego, tan pronto como comencé a ordenar, produjo una bonita caja de aspecto clásico detrás del mostrador. Supongo que debe haber entendido mal. The salted caramel macaroon was to die for. A little pricey but you get what you pay for. The member of staff that attended to us was friendly, polite and knowledgeable. My daughter loved these macaroons she would have eaten everything in the shop if I had let her!

Such a disappointment! :( I lived in Paris before living in UK and I LOVE Pierre Hermé's sweets. He's my favourite patissier and make the best macaroons (and some of the best cakes of Paris too, his Ispahan cake is amazing). I used to go to in his shops around once a month in Paris. So for Christmas buying Pierre Hermé's macaroons was an essential for me. The staff is very nice, explaining us the flavours. But the macaroons tasted like... basic macaroons. Flavour is quite good, but they seems a bit old to me (dry and not a great texture). Plus, they don't have all the range like the savoury macaroons (only for Christmas). I will never go the Pierre Hermé London again, but it will stay a must go when I'll spend few days in Paris.

I am extremely disappointed! I used to go to Pierre Hermè in Paris a lot since I lived there since I was born. Now that I moved in UK and I miss PH macarons so much I tried this shop in London. It's quite sad that we can't find pastries but well I came for the macarons so it was okay. I bought a box of macarons for Christmas and I was so disappointed by the taste... It's really nothing like what I used to eat in Paris. Definitely not! It was quite poor and tasteless. Even the Ispahan that taste amazing usually. So I will definitely never come back in any shop in London! I will wait till my next Paris trip to buy a box of macarons and at the same time pastries.

Not sure what the buzz is about. Got 7 different macron for £17. Most of the flavors were indiscernible. The filling was leaking out of one of the macron and a few were a bit spongy. Had higher expectations as £2-£3 a piece.

Extrêmement cher et joue sir la renommée de Pierre Hermé pour vendre des mets hors de prix. Sans juger le goût des macarons leur prix est prohibitif. Garder plutôt de quoi faire un aller retour dans une de ses boutiques en France.

I am not a fan of macaroons.... but the Praline and Hazelnut literally tastes like a Ferrero Rocher.... Have it. It's amazing. The ice cream is not great though, I thought it would be fresh but it comes in a small plastic pre-made pot.

The girls serving were extremely serious, not a smile at all. Food of course is great but the girls should be happy about serving customers and working in this place. At the time of us choosing the flavours the girl looking at the floor not saying a word. Maybe asking do I need a help. Do u want me to explain the flavours. Nothing at all zero upselling....

The macarons were perfect. Especially the Ispahan (Rose, Lychee and Raspberry) and the Montebello (Raspberry and Pistachio). Great price for a perfect bite 😊

London's new top place for classy experimental and delicious macaroons! Service was top class

The bakery is a bit on the pricey side however the macarons are the best you can get and their cakes are incredible. We got a chocolate cake which as usual did not disappoint but the fruit cake they have (they have a selection) are something truly special.

Soy un cliente habitual en esta tienda, y hasta hace poco mi experiencia siempre ha sido muy buena, tanto en términos de calidad / sabor y variedad de macarons ofrecidos como en términos de servicio.Hace unos meses, nuevos ayudantes de tienda subieron a bordo, y desde ese momento mi experiencia es. . . Bueno, simplemente no es lo mismo que antes.Tuve la mala suerte de mis últimas 3 visitas allí para ser "asistida" por el mismo miembro del personal y cada vez me siento casi arrepentida de haberla molestado con mi visita.Imagínese: usted entra en la tienda, y alguien en el mostrador allí parece extremadamente poco acogedor, hasta el límite de lo hostil, solo le devuelve la mirada en silencio o simplemente asiente con la cabeza cuando entra, y hace las preguntas de manera abrupta. La palabra correcta para describir esta nueva experiencia es "deprimente". Espero que el jefe de personal de Pierre Herme aborde la capacitación de los nuevos miembros del personal.

En toutes franchises les macarons sont toujours aussi bons, ce qui fait qu'on à souvent envie d'y retourner. Rien de tel que de succomber une fois de temps en temps!

Nice flavours but definitely not on par with its Paris counterparts. Quite pricey but good as a gift or for a special occasion.

Tasty macaroons and lovely staffs. I like the orange flavor macaroons here, not too sweet but with a strong orange aromatic smell.

Ces macarons sont juste délicieux. Certes le prix est plutôt élevé mais cela en vaut la peine. J'ai particulièrement aimé le "framboise-pain d'épice" ainsi que le "marron et rose". Les salés au caviar petrossian et truffe blanche m'ont par contre déçue.
