Piccolo in Stockport

Our quest for good value lunches continues. And Piccolo certainly offers good value at £15 for two courses (and a tenner for just a main). And a goodly bit of variety – a dozen starters, followed by a range of salads, pizza and pasta dishes. It’s been there for years in the building built in 1841 as a Methodist chapel. So, bruschetta to start for one of us. Crisp, toasted bread topped with flavoursome chopped tomato and onion, drizzled with balsamic. That was followed by a very decent lasagne. For the other, fried squid rings in a crisp coating, with garlic mayo, followed by a Chicken Caesar salad. Good lunch

What an absolute Gem. My daughter and Granddaughter who is 1 year old went for lunch. so glad we did, treated so well nothing too much trouble. I had vegetarian Lasagne and my daughter had Vegan pizza and Granddaughter they made a special Penne tomato dish. We also had vegan garlic cheese bread. All the food was absolutely delicious, great tasty authentic food. We will be back that's for sure, never had such a delicious Lasagne.

A real asset to the village - lovely food, great staff, lots of events, lunchtime menu, lots of choice of food and drink. Offers. Always a great time every time and one of our favourites

We have been regulars at Piccolo's for many years and have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Recently, we purchased a token that gave us 50% off our food bill, which we used today. In our party of five and a child, we had five starters, five mains, two deserts and a children's pizza. Obviously, we knew drinks would not be included in the deal, but the voucher said "50% off you food bill." The bill came to £109 (after the discount) and our discount was £41. Our drinks (we only had water with and coffee after the meal) came to around £25. I didn't think the bill was correct and that the 50% had not been applied. We were told that the discount only applied to the main courses. However, that's NOT what the leaflet says, it says 'ALL FOOD.' Piccolo need to make this clear on their coupon, because not everyone will be as understanding as us and accept their explanation.

I visited a few friends in Manchester over the July period. 8 of us went to Piccolo on 20/07/24 for dinner and it was fabulous. The restaurant interior is lovely and the food is delicious. However, what impressed me most was the service. The staff are competent and the service is speedy. This restaurant recognises the value of having enough staff on to ensure there are no long waiting times. This restaurant is good whether you’re a family, couple or big group of friends. I wish more restaurants in London were like this place. I look forward to visiting again when I’m next back in Manchester.

Piccolo ha hecho una importante contribución para comer en Gatley (no en Cheadle, por cierto), aunque las innumerables tiendas de arriba y abajo de la calle no son mucho de la competencia! Cena temprano el miércoles la comida abundante y deliciosa, pero el lugar era muy ruidoso y no propicio para relajarse con una comida. Sólo así nos preparábamos para ir tenían niveles de ruido dejó así que podría tener una conversación normal. Quizás deberíamos haber llegado en 9 en vez de 7 h.

Visitamos un día Piccolos semana almuerzo. Era nuestra primera visita, así que no sabía qué esperar.Estaba muy tranquilo, ya que obviamente es una especie de fin de lugar.El personal era amable y la comida también era adorable, auténticos platos agradable :).

Hemos estado viniendo aquí durante años ahora, siempre un ambiente acogedor, gran entretenimiento, cómo sólo tiene unos pocos comentarios. El lugar siempre está lleno.buenos cócteles y sinceramente la comida es increíble. Cada vez que hemos estado allí ha sido siempre un cantante en el cual personalmente creo que lleva una categoría.

Visited recently to celebrate birthday with family. Food excellent and staff were very helpful . Spacious and well decorated.Easy parking outside on street.....well worth a visit.

Vine aquí con algunos amigos para comer un bocado en el banco y sorprendentemente con el tiempo bueno el restaurante era adecuadamente ocupados. Nos sentamos en el interior, pero al preguntar después estábamos sentados un corto tiempo al aire libre. La comida era deliciosa comida casa italiana. Dos de mis amigos dieron pan de ajo con queso y lamentó no comparten una vez que vieron el tamaño! Los calamares estaba cocinada a la perfección y crema de gambas y pasta espárragos era absolutamente deliciosa y pulido de la mucho! Sin duda lo recomendaría y volvería

Este es un pequeño restaurante acogedor exterior interior fantástico y el personal amable. Mi esposa a menudo visitas con amigos y yo hemos estado en unas cuantas ocasiones nunca decepciona.Aprovechamos el menú familiar fabuloso con una selección de pastas y pan de ajo o una enorme pizza y una generosa ensalada mixta. Optamos por la pizza que estaba preparado a la perfección y el aderezo en la ensalada era magnífico añadimos una porción de patatas fritas y para mi sorpresa también estaban incluidas las bebidas! Tres de nosotros la factura total estaba por debajo de 20 libras y el servicio era fantástico.Este es un restaurante puede visitar en cualquier momento perfecto para ocasiones especiales un reúnase con amigos o una agradable cena familiar.Lo recomiendo encarecidamente y volveremos de nuevo en un futuro muy próximo.

Piccolos has got to be my favorite restaurant! Amazing tasting and quality food for a decent price! All the staff are very attentive and always upbeat, cannot fault Piccolos at all!

El joven amable que nos sirven tony era atento fue increíble ser indiscreto divertido sin gracias por un gran día fue una mañana muy ocupada y que aún tenía tiempo para todo el mundo gran volveremos pronto.

Un pals gran cumpleaños (con retraso) en el fin de semana y esta era mi primera visita. Impresionado por la comida, que era delicioso y interesante. (al ser vegetariano, yo soy bastante crítica de intentos decantantes melódicos egipcios al estilo menús vegetarianos) estaba de turno y el respaldo de la máquina era muy fuerte, pero su encanto y voz decente nos hizo perdonar él

Después de haber reservado para un almuerzo tarde, el sol brillaba, así que aprovechamos de estar fuera, donde hay un gran número de mesas con un personal muy atento. Después de haber visitado los resistentes en muchas ocasiones la comida era de primera clase, muy fresco y cocinado a la perfección. Albóndigas de carne y un bocadillo suculento bistec estaban y muy sabroso. Volveremos a por más de su hospitalidad y comida muy pronto. Gracias

Hice una reserva tardía para una gran fiesta familiar para celebrar el cumpleaños 18 de nietas el sábado pasado. No había estado antes, pero leer comentarios muy bueno. Andrew quien hizo la reserva y nos ayudó con todos los detalles de antemano, era realmente amable y yo sabíamos que habíamos tomado la decisión correcta en nuestra elección. Mi hija y yo fuimos para el almuerzo entre semana en vez de teléfono con los detalles finales, el restaurante es encantador, y nuestra comida era deliciosa, tuvimos un almuerzo muy agradable, relajado. La música en vivo fue excelente, tuvimos una comida estupenda y una memorable noche. El personal era muy complaciente, sin cesar, incluso para una noche tan ajetreada. Volveremos:)

Comido aquí varias veces, siempre una cálida bienvenida, un ambiente encantador y una verdadera mezcla de personas. Gran ambiente, asientos acogedores y el personal encantador. Menú del almuerzo hasta las 4 pm es increíble y gran valor junto con otras ofertas disponibles. Cerveza fabulosa y una buena selección de vinos, comer aquí es una delicia y no importa a qué hora del día da la sensación de una ocasión especial.Perfecto

Fui allí por primera vez esta noche y quedé impresionado. La comida era precioso y muy bien presentada. El personal es amable y muy atento. El menú era excelente, mucho y con mucha variedad. Había entretenimiento incluso en vivo. Pasamos una noche preciosa y el personal, aunque muy concurrido eran geniales. Sin duda volveremos. Recomendaría Piccolo es sin ninguna duda.

Hemos comido aquí en varias ocasiones, y muchos de nuestros amigos no demasiado. La comida es excelente, el ambiente es precioso y el personal es atento. La guinda del pastel es la preciosa cantante Hayley Smith el residente. Extenso repertorio hayley es así que ella puede variar según las canciones y el humor cuando es necesario. Ella no es demasiado ruidoso o dominante y mejora el ambiente general para una gran noche. Recientemente cantó en nuestra Hayley bodas y fue fantástico. Fuertemente Piccolos y recomiendo encarecidamente Hayley para entretenimiento. :-)

Much improved since our first visit when it had just opened. A very varied and good menu which suited everybody. Atmosphere has improved over the years and is now one of our favourite restaurants when organising a meal with friends.

I went for lunch. It's the first time I've been to this restaurant. There's a lovely small covered area at the front of the restaurant with patio heaters and a lovely touch blankets if it's cold. The menu is quite varied. I had garlic pizza with rosemary, cheese and parma ham to start (which is large enough to share). My friend had brucetta. For mains I had linguini carbonara which was delightful and full of bacon. My friend had chicken in a sauce with a varied choice of potatoes. The staff were very helpful and friendly and courteous. Will definitely visit again.

Went here on a busy Saturday evening. The food was good, but slightly spicier than I'm used to in an Italian. The service was generally good although we had to remind them about our wine order. The live music was a bit of a shock, the singer was good but it was too loud and made conversation difficult. Fortunately we were upstairs as I would have found her performance intrusive if we'd been downstairs.

We had a family gathering here and everything was perfect. It is a converted chapel and has been done to the highest quality level. The food is superb and varied, something to suit everybody. Ambience and staff are excellent

This place is amazing, the staff very welcoming, service excellent, the food wonderful. Watched every meal that came out of the kitchen and all were steaming hot and looked amazing. Could find not fault with this place. Recommend you try this place.

As usual we started with the pizza base with mozzarella, rosemary and Parma Ham which was lovely.

Great place to eat with friendly staff. You must try the breakfast over the weekend it's lovely. Live music during the weekend. Enjoy

Nice handy place to go, in nice area, nice setting, lovely atmosphere, live lovely lady singer, i was very harpy to be taken by my children for mothers day. Lovely food, nice service, laid back waiter and waitresses hence the service was slow.

We arrived to a wonderful welcome and accommodating staff. The food was amazing but it really was the staff that made the evening enjoyable.

Friday night family meal we have been here before but with the live music and the atmosphere it just added to the feeling we were on holiday. Good food even my better half didn't complain about the bill. Not that we would afford to come except for a rather special night. But that made it even better. Nice service and they were happy to bring the garlic bread while we decided.

We had a brilliant meal at Piccolo last night to celebrate my wife's birthday. The food was as usual excellent and the service outstanding. The bustling restaurant, along with live music (Last night a harp and guitar duo) made the night even more memorable. Thanks to Kelly and her team for looking after us again. We'll be back soon!

First time here and local to home. I was expecting greatness but what I got was fairly standard Italian food.

Excellent food, a little expensive for what it was, service could have been a bit better but very friendly and a nice place,to eat with family and children made welcome

We chose this restaurant on the backs of the reviews on here and the look of its menu. On the whole we had a lovely time but the service let it down a little. The building is quaint with an unusual layout and provides a lovely ambience for any occasion. The menu provides plenty of choice with some firm favourites alongside more complex choices for more discerning diners.

Visited Piccolo on New Years Eve as a party of six, the evening was sold as an all inclusive food and drinks night which was better than advertised.

A wide selection of different Italian foods on the menu- pastas, pizzas, steaks and other meats which are also reasonably priced. The restaurant is family friendly and also caters well for large groups, with all being served in good time. The place used to be a pub and has a few different levels around the main central floor, which works well. Very pleasant spot.

I love piccolos. I've been many times over the past couple of years. We recently went after christingle on Christmas Eve and sat out in the outside heating area which is lovely...they have blankets on the seats and it just feels very cosy. It was a lovely evening a day there food is brilliant. We've had some brilliant bargin meals in the past with the vouchers we have received of them. A wonderful place with brilliant staff.

Eaten here a few times. Food is good, some staff are friendly. Theres just something missing/not quite right about it but i cant put my finger on it.

Situated a short walk from the Gatley High Street, Piccolo's is a good quality Italian restaurant with friendly staff and and a comfortable atmosphere. Dishes are traditional Italian, but they also do a Sunday roast special, with 3 courses of Soup, Pasta and a meat/baked potato main course, which is a combination I've never quite seen before, but seems to be a popular option with their customers. I found the food to be of good standard (being honest, I wouldn't say it was amongst the best Italian I've ever eaten), but certainly good enough to be worth a visit.

Nice food friendly staff would recommend only disadvantage is Parking was a little hard to get parked nearby but no reflection on a great night

Great food and entertainment on at weekend. Good selection on menus including the wine list. Would recommend it to anyone with friends

We enjoyed our meal with friends, the atmosphere was excellent as was the wine, but the main meals were ok. rib eye steak was excellent but the lamb was a little tough, you also need to ensure you order chips, vegetables as extras as they don't come with the meal.

Prior to going to manchester Arena for Faithless concert , on recommendation of my daughter , booked a table for early tea. Immediately shown to table and drinks ordered . Bit disappointed no Rioja available for individual glass but the Merlot was nice. We had garlic bread for starters and pizza's for main - very nice . Finished off with cheese cake .

As a small party we were seated towards the rear of this stylish restaurant but we were surrounded by large groups. The place was very noisy and conversation impossible at times. The food was quite good but lasagne was cold and covered in an unremarkable white pouring sauce. Our seating obviously affected our experience and if seated at the front of the restaurant the noise is less invasive. Potentially a lovely restaurant but not for us on this visit.

I slated this restaurant back at the beginning of the year as they had ruined my birthday celebrations. We have visited again recently, more mid week than weekend and enjoyed really good food. I still have not been back at weekend but we can definitely say it is worth a visit.

looking for a meal locally whilst visiting the UK (I was brought up here before moving to NZ) Piccolos proved to be a gem. Excellent service, fabulous food and a lovely ambience. Highly recommended (and there was even parking outside)!

Sixteen Rainbows (pre-Brownies) went to Piccolo for a treat and to fund-raise for Children in Need. We had a great time. Gizelle had arranged the tables so all 16 girls could sit on one long table and they were all given a choice of pizza or pasta main course with chips, ice-cream and drinks. It was a lovely evening with the Rainbows all wearing their Pudsey ears and fancy dresses. Gizelle and the other Piccolo staff couldn't have been more accommodating - we had a wonderful time and we will be back!!!

I came here with 3 other friends on 29th Oct approx 6pm, we were seated on the 2nd floor. Our visit from start to finish was excellent. The restaurant was well staffed, they were all very polite and couldn't do enough for us. The food was superb very hot and fresh, brilliant portion sizes. Great place, already recommended to other friends and family will definitely be coming back.

Went for our wedding anniversary and also for a family meal. Both times the food, of which there is a broad selection, was gorgeous and reasonably priced. The staff were very attentive and there was subtle live music creating a really relaxed atmosphere.

Although I've been to Picollo several times over, I haven't yet reviewed the restaurant so thought that now's a good a time as any.

This was our second visit Piccolo and while both myself and my girlfried enjoyed our first visit, the food, service and atmosphere were even better this time.

Piccolo is a wonderful restaurant in the lovely village of Gatley. We've visited regularly since it opened 4 years ago and it's by far our favourite restaurant. The friendly service from Kelly and the team, alongside the wonderful ambiance and sensational food make it well worthy of a visit. Weekends see live music from a range of really talented artists, especially from the wonderfully elegant Hayley Smith who specialises in jazz and 1920's / 1930's music; an astonishingly talented lady. The very recent addition of a covered outdoor eating / seating area will no doubt ensure we can eat al' fresco even in the winter months. Highly recommended for couples, families and groups, in fact anyone looking for a great meal in friendly surroundings.

Me and my boyfriend are here and really enjoyed it. Good was delicious, speedy attentive service and they even had a singer which gave the place a lovely atmosphere. We were seated on the balcony and loved the decor of the restaurant. Overall had a great night and would definitely return and recommend it.

Been here on a late friday night and i was surprised. What seemed like a small and simple restaurant from outside turned to be a very spacious and well decorated one, with an excellent menu and a wide selection of wines!

If you are in the area and want some Italian food you may visit this restaurant but you don't need to go here.

Great lively place. Excellent food, generous portions. Staff very efficient, hardworking, helpful and friendly. Only been on Saturday nights but the place was full each time and there's live music. Small restaurant great atmosphere. Just wonderful. Tiramisu to die for!

Friends had told us about this 'Little Gem' of an Italian restaurant in Gatley. Whenever we wanted to go out for an Italian we'd always book our usual restaurant in Wilmslow but decided to give this one a try. Certainly wasn't disappointed. Great food, great atmosphere and great friendly staff. First visit was great and will definately be visiting again.

We booked for a Thursday night and it was busy but teh staff were liek a well oiled machine - everyone seemed to be attended to in a timely manner. Most of teh people in tehre looked like returning customers whio knew the staff which is always a good sign. The food was delicious, as was the whole visit. I will definitely be returning soon. It is so nice to have a decent Italian this close to home

We ate here for the first time last week. It is only a mile from home. We booked for a Thursday night and it was very busy. It is lovely inside, although there are tables outside which are undercover with wall mounted heaters. The food was fantastic and we will be booking again very soon

Me and the girlfriend came here during a trip to Manchester. Really nice food and fantastic service, the man that served us made us feel very welcome. Food top notch mussles for starter were best I've ever had and the prawn linguine was bang on. The girlfriend had the mushrooms to start and lasagne both fantastic too. Will definitely make a repeat vist if we are that way again

Come here quite often for lunchs with family and meals with partner,the food is always good, do think some of the tables are too close together it is almost as if you are sat next to the table next to you up the first set of stairs! But no faulting the food or service!

We have visited Piccolo many times & have never been disappointed!

Visited Piccolo once before and thought it was great. We went for the family menu this time - 2 adults and 2 kids, £14.90 for a shared main and side and drinks (inc wine for the adults). We chose the meatballs and pasta with tomato garlic bread. Everyone enjoyed it. It is great value for money & we'll be visiting again soon.

Nice place (lovely dinning room), needs some renewing. Very good, large and tasty risottos. Bruschetta bread was toasted on the outside but it was cold inside which was a shame.

We had our daughters christening here on Sunday and we had a fabulous day. The staff were so attentive and accommodating. The food was delicious, plentiful and they kept refilling the buffet with fresh food so it was always hot. Everyone commented on what a lovely venue it was and how delicious the food was. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Dined here on a lovely summers evening with family - we sat outside, but have to say the inside decor is lovely.

Went last saturday it was our second time there and got the exact same table as the first time,food fantastic a very good menu to choose from good price,lovely atmosphere and service will be going back a third time!!

Visited Piccolo on Sat 20th June for my birthday treat after reading all the good reviews. On the whole the meal was lovely and my husband and I enjoyed our lunch. We selected 5 of the tapas style dishes and mostly were delicious and we very much enjoyed. However the king prawn dish (which was the most expensive of all our dishes) was a big let down, the prawns were dry and over cooked, as was the whole dish. Shame as the prawns are my favourite.

First time at the restaurant and after enjoying their excellent food...am sitting here determined to come again. Staff were eager to please and ambiance was fantastic with live music to boot what more can you ask for? Will be back again...definitely!

I have wanted to visit for a while and finally got round to it a week or so ago when I had lunch with my mother-in-law. I had the steak and Gorgonzola pizza, she had lasagne. Both were delicious, hot and served in good time by friendly staff. Our desserts (panna cotta and toffee cheesecake) were also lovely. Looking forward to a return visit soon!

Came across this place the other day whilst out with my wife, we have since returned with a friend of ours, to go back somewhere within the week for lunch shows how good it is.. I've read a couple of comments about it being over priced. My advise for them is stick to Brewers Fayre or some other cheap and nasty chain!!!!! This is a local restaurant that does Italian (tapas) during the day and at this time of year you can sit outside listening to Balearic tunes and forget your in Manchester for a while. The food is all fresh and very tasty,the small plates for only £3.50 each are real good value we ordered about 6 of them and the waitress did say it might be too much, which was nice to hear. Anyhow we managed them just about with a slower walk out of there. I have put 5 stars but i'll re - evaluate on return for the evening menu. Which won't be long, after the 2 great lunches we have had there.

the pizzas were small and of a poor standard. my chicken pasta with broccoli sauce was awful, the pasta was like a supermarkets basic brand, the broccoli was raw and the sauce was weak and pathetic... I would not recommend

4 of us went on Friday night, and were not disappointed. The food was lovely and had different selections than the standards you get from Italian restaurants. Although the menu is not extensive, there is enough choice, the staff were attentive and we were treated to a singer/guitarist as well. I will definitely be returning for the Risotto.

We have eaten lunch here several times and have always received good food and service. The lunchtime menu is very good value. The restaurant is in a converted chapel and has a nice ambience.

Booked a table for 12 ladies through their website & rang the next day to confirm the reservation. They didn't request a deposit like some restaurants do. Staff were really friendly & welcoming, our table was in a secluded area of the restaurant which was perfect for us & they had a live singer on the whole time we were there which was lovely. Food was excellent and reasonably priced, no complaints from our group. When Bill arrived, they didn't include a service charge again like some restaurants do with a large group. Overall was a really pleasant experience and would highly recommend for a special occasion like ours was for my birthday. There was also a Hen party on at the same time & the staff were happy to let them dress up in hen party costumes, again some restaurants can be funny about that kind of thing. Our group will definitely be rebooking for the next birthday night out x

First time at this little gem of a place on a friends recommendation and I wasn't disappointed. Food was fresh hot and tasty with a decent breather between courses and I'm not a Italian food fan. Staff were genuinely friendly whilst being super efficient and to be honest the place was pretty busy. I will defo be back soon thanks Piccolo for a super evening from a born again Italian foodie - you have turned me!!

Been to Piccolos a few times now and each time they consistently delivered the worse food I have eaten in a restaurant. This includes the likes of kfc and McDonald's. This time we received duck that tasted like liver with store bought dried pasta. Starting with frozen prawns along with thousand island sauce mixed in with boiling water.

Best steak ever , service brilliant , really cannot fault this place , very relaxed aosphere , and live music also 😄

We first went to Piccolo 3 years ago and vowed never to return as the food was awful! However my daughter went with a friend and said it had improved so we decided to try again. I was glad we did as the atmosphere and the restaurant itself had been refurbished with a small but lovely bar area now as the entrance. The service was excellent and we were impressed with the Italian waiting staff who took our drinks and food orders promptly and efficiently. The starters were really good - the mushrooms were worth the visit alone. Two of the main courses were good but the Farfalle Salmone was over cooked and not great, we informed the waitress who got the manager who immediately offered a replacement or non payment for that item so we were happy. I would recommend Piccolo as it has greatly improved and the atmosphere was great, The singer was a little loud for my taste but was very good and definitely added to the evening. Overall I would say it is well worth a visit.

Went on a friday tea time and was surprised to find the restaurant to ourselves the food was amazing and very good size portions the only let down was the service even though the restaurant was empty the staff were sometimes no where to be found and i had to go to the bar to get a drink maybe just because of the time we dined but would definately return

Found this restaurant on the internet and the menu certainly looked a winner so we took a chance and booked a table for 7.

My wife and I were given a 50% food off voucher on our last visit so decided to take out 12 year old son for an early dinner on Tuesday night. We booked a table and duly arrived. We were asked were we okay sitting upstairs and agreed. Another couple came in some 15 minutes after us and were asked for their order before us which I thought was a little strange. We ordered a round of drinks and then waited and waited for the waiter to come for the order. Eventually he came and we ordered squid, mushrooms and a bowl of pasta to start with and 2 pizzas and the Pollo risotto for our main meal. The food as normal was superb but the service was decidedly "off kilter". My wife ordered a drink prior to the main course which never arrived and then after the main course we waited 25 minutes for the plates to be cleared as my son wanted a dessert but eventually had to walk downstairs to ask for the bill. After a further 10 minutes we put our coats on and paid the bill on the way out. I have been to Piccolos 6 or 7 times now and am wondering why the service was so bad on a Tuesday night. I wonder if it was because we had the 50% off voucher or whether we were put upstairs and forgotten about. Either way it was not a very good experience.

We recently booked the whole restaurant for a family birthday. Kelly and her team could not have been more helpful throughout. She reorganised all the tables, moved lounge furniture into the outside area to accommodate numbers and made everyone very welcome.

The food here is fantastic, especially the Sunday dinner (not the typical fare either). We went when it first opened and found it to be over priced and average food. However it's improved hugely in the last few years under new owners and is now a frequent eatery for us. They often do 50% off vouchers too making it very reasonably priced too!

Visited 17/4/15 We enjoyed food in which we couldn't find any fault, tasteless, poor quality etc. Whoever cook the food should deserve the award for distinctive quality of each food. Definitely coming again.

All in all this is a decent restaurant. Maybe just a few little details need to be considered for it to be a really good one. I thoroughly enjoyed my squid starter but I was disappointed that it was served on a chipped plate. The live entertainment was a nice touch but it might be worth considering addressing the volume, at times it was a little hard to converse with my party because the music was a little too loud. The lamb shank was beautifully cooked, but the pasta dish with duck was a seemingly missing something, I am not sure the small pieces of duck were enough and whether the portion of pasta was perhaps too much. My only other slight criticism is the value for money but this may not be an issue if the dishes are improved slightly. On the plus side the menu offered a wide variety of dishes that were different from the bog standard Italian. Both the decor and the service was warm and welcoming and I would definitely try this place again.

Four of us tried this place for lunch and were very pleased, and that's putting it mildly. Warm and friendly staff, and the food was exquisite. Very highly recommended. We'll be back.

Authentic Italian atmosphere at weekends when an artist is performing,it is low key and not overpowering,so you are not shouting to speak,etc During the week good selection of meals for families and special offers for lunchtime,etc All in all a great acquisition for gatley village to provide something different,authentic,and entertaining.Well worth a visit and good value for excellent food.

Very enjoyable lunch our gradchildren watched the chef making their Pizzas (through window in restaurant) which was a highlight for them - I enjoyed the Risotto

I cannot praise this place enough. What an absolute little gem! I live locally and this is one of those places that I've driven and walked past many times, and thought, "I must try there." Now that I have, I really cannot say enough how much you really really must try here! ;)
