Nice small intimate gallery. Reasonable ticket prices. I would highly recommend the Chris Killip exhibition!

Very nice selection of exhibits. They do have teaching facilities for those who are interested. The Photographers' Gallery Café is worth visiting.

I love the photographers gallery / it's holds unique photos of special artists - for example Terence Donovan and Dandyism and Black masculinity - fabulous photos You feel you are in the presence of greatness. The cafe is lovely too / slightly over priced, but it cool being here in the heart of the west end. Well recommended 👍🏾

I've been a regular visitor since the gallery was in Great Newport Street. Their exhibitions are always well curated and insightful. Entry is free before 12pm and there is a cafe on the ground floor. If you are interested in photography this is a highly recommended.

I enjoyed the meal and also the soul food from the exhibitions. I was happy to have a lot of choice of meal. There is not such choice in wine so be aware. The service is quick and friendly. I enjoyed the lunch, and it was followed by the visit of the exhibition of Saul Leiter. Bon Appetit!

This is for the small café /eatery at the first floor of the gallery, not the gallery itself! Nice small variety of fresh dishes (quiches and sandwiches mostly) and a few mouth watering looking cakes. Quick and to the point, our quiches were tasty and the side salad was of decent amount and flavoursome. Prices very reasonable too!

I attended an arts event at The Photographers Gallery based in Ramillies Street, London on the 4th August 2015 featuring the artwork of the late talented photographer Shirley Baker. The arts event was on the corner of Ramillies Street and when you walked in through the doors the receptionist asked my mum and I where we would like to view and we replied saying the Shirley Baker exhibition. We went up to the second floor and viewed her artwork. In the middle of the room there was a large table with Shirley’s photography equipment and newspaper reviews. There were many pictures covering the walls all expressing different feelings and emotions. Also covering the walls were quotes from Shirley Baker herself. Shirley Baker’s preferred medium was in black and white however, she did occasionally take some pictures in colour. I thought that this exhibition was inspirational and had an enjoyable atmosphere. It was informative how they put dates and places under the pictures so that you could see when and where the photograph was taken. Overall, I enjoyed the Shirley Baker experience and have nothing to dislike about it. However, when I went to the ‘We Want More’ exhibition on 4th floor of The Photographers Gallery there was many displeasing photographs of drunken men and women at gigs showing parts of the body which not everybody would like to see. There were pictures by Gareth McConnell and Pep Bonet but none were pleasing to my eye. I have learnt from the events at The Photographer’s Gallery that not all pictures have to be of the countryside and water or ‘pretty’ pictures. There is more on the streets that could inspire you. These events have inspired me to go further with photography, to push myself to the limits at all times and to take that extra step. I would recommend this event to other photographers or people who just want a day out of the house, it is a two-minute walk from Oxford Circus tube and cannot be missed. There is a small picnic area near The Photographer’s Gallery which adds to the lovely atmosphere of the area. The facilities in The Photographer’s Gallery are clean and exhibitions themselves are very clean. There is also a shop and a café in the gallery. The art forms used here are all photographs and the artist’s medium ranged from quiet street work to heavy metal gigs. I selected this arts event for inspiration and I can tell you that they succeeded in that. By Harriet - Year 9 Arts Award Student

Lovely small restaurant, interesting menu. Looking at other tables the pancakes looked super, we both choose udon noodles, one with prawns and one with fatty beef strips. Both we too greasy for our taste.

At the vicinity of my workplace, there's a charming café with incredibly friendly staff, which adds to the joy of savouring a delightful and delicious panini. Undoubtedly, the standout feature is the friendly and engaging staff. The service is quick, making it convenient for a swift visit, yet you're also welcome to stay and leisurely enjoy your meal.

Lovely atmosphere and very friendly service. We asked for recommendations and had the beef stew and lemongrass chicken. Both were lovely, with great punchy but well balanced flavours. We also had cocktails which were well made and tasty. Recommended.
