The service here was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. We felt welcomed and cared for there. We only wanted to share something quick and light, so we ordered the green papaya salad with beef. It was so delicious, fresh and tangy. We left feeling very satisfied with our visit, especially the lovely service we received.

A great place for comfort food! The oxtail pho is so delicious and filling - perfect for the cold. Everything tastes fresh and our table was served with care. Prices are great for central London too. They can be busy sometimes but it’s definitely worth the wait.

Staff was very nice. Ordered the ox cheek pho and the spring rolls. The pho was decent but the spring rolls were quite dry and bland. Price was reasonable given its location is very central. Looks like a good place to go if friends are vegan/vegetarian as well.

Fresh, quick and delicious Vietnamese food and such friendly, attentive staff. We loved sharing starters together - the salt and pepper tofu was so good we forgot to take a photo! The bun cha was great too.

I had the noodles soup with beef and pork. Meat had no flavour and 60% fat. Didn't enjoy it at all.

Whole grilled sea bass was awful - mushy and flavourless. Starters were ok.

Great portions and the pho’s broth is tasty. Ox cheeks were a tad chewy. Other than that, it’s a lovely dining experience.

This Restaurant was one of our shops of a Hen Party. We did reserve for a later time but called and got an earlier spot. First thing, we got a prosecco bottle on the house and xx% off, because of this special event. Servers were all great and made great food recommendations. Speaking of food, it came like 5 minutes after we ordered and all things tasted amazing 👏 It was one of the best customer experiences ever and we all appreciated this more then kind gesture! Not only great food but a restaurant that are putting great effort in the customer well-being. Thank you again and we will definitely come back :)

Cozy spot with comfortable group seating downstairs. Spring rolls were epic. Everything else was a bit bland.

Went in for a last minute meal before a show. The friendly staff found us a spot downstairs. Tasty Vietnamese food, brought quickly by the great team. It's not a long menu but everything we tried was hot and tasty. Much better than the endless chain restaurants in the area. If you're hungry and near there then check it out!

As a Vietnamese native, I don't often go out to eat Vietnamese food as the kitchen of mum & dad will always trump any restaurant offerings. On the occasions when my parents are either away or there's too big a gap when they would bring me food... Com Viet has been my home from home for the previous 10 years when my friends or I crave Vietnamese food. The starters they offer are very diverse and offer you probably the best 'street food' experience of all the Vietnamese restaurants I have tried. I would highly recommend the beef in betel leaf, the grilled quail and the 'Com Viet' Cha, add to that the Papaya or the Mango salad and you have yourself a great meal. If you're extra hungry the Pho or Bun Bo Hue are both delicious. Often in Vietnamese cuisine it is about how well the ingredients are cooked, but it also how good the pairing condiments go with it. Com Viet's Nuoc Mam dipping sauce is on point and it is used so often in Vietnamese dishes that it is the most vital condiment, and they get it right here. It balances sweet, savoury, sour, spicy and umami, all the elements that Vietnamese cuisine tries to balance out so that no one element overpowers the others. For the grilled quail, they serve this with a salt, lemon, lime & chilli dip - it is how it would be served at a streetfood stall in Vietnam. These small details are what keeps me and my friends coming back. The staff here are all wonderfully friendly and always make you feel welcome. For the price and the quality of the food, you can't beat this restaurant if you want great Vietnamese food. Give it a try, you won't regret it!

Lovely Vietnamese lunch to celebrate the lunar new year. There are many vegetarian options that are clearly labelled, for example okra with spring onions; summer rolls with tofu; papaya salad; soya chilli tofu... The staff were really friendly, too.

The dining experience was super good! The pho is wonderful. The beef soup is absolutely fresh. Love pho! And the duck breast is so delicious, so I finished the whole plate even those garlic insides.

This little Covent Garden Vietnamese restaurant is larger than it first appears as there is downstairs seating as well as the few tables you see as you walk in. We ordered the tofu curry and bún Hà Nội and we really enjoyed both. Authentic flavours and tasted delicious. The menu is quite large so I’d be curious to come back and try some of the other dishes too. Have to mention also that the staff were very friendly and professional. Cảm ơn!

Amazing restaurant - a gem in central London. Meat was exquisite, the balance of spices too. We orderer Com Saigon, the charcoaled pork chops were full of taste, marinated in lemon grass and Bun Bo Hue, spicy version of Pho with beef - my partner was very happy about the spice level, as he loves hot food. As starters we ordered Tamarind Soup and Winter Melon soup, both portions very surprisingly big, I’d definitely recommend this place and happily come back to try other dishes from the menu. On top of delicious food, the service was outstanding. Person who was taking care of our table was extremely nice and helpful. The atmosphere was tranquil and relaxed.

The pho with prawns and the water spinach were both super delicious! We were lucky to get a table because it got busy really quick. Located right in the middle of Covent Garden.

Pretty decent Vietnamese food. Probably not very traditional, but the quality, flavour and service is all there. Fairly priced in my opinion. Staff members were helpful and warm. Even though it is not a huge place, just stop thinking that decoration is all, you go to a restaurant so that the food is the one talking for you to make the judgement. And this is one of those places. Btw, some of the best shiitake I've tried in my entire life, I'll be going tomorrow to ask where they get them.

비오는 날엔 국물이 먹고싶으니까 쌀국수 맛집 찾아서 갔다. 근데 정말로 맛집이었고 친절한 식당이었다. 국물에서 생강이 좀 자꾸 느껴져서 몇번 놀랐는데 그래도 쌀국수와 스프링롤 아주 맛있음.

The food was very tasty, and we enjoyed it, although it could have been a little hotter (temperature wise). Hopefully the door closer will be repaired soon! Happy to go back

Cosy little restaurant that I’ve walked by for years and finally went to try. They opened promptly at 12pm and my server was super friendly, she greeted me with a smile and made me feel comfortable. My ox cheek pho came quickly and was better than expected, they’re generous with the meat. It wasn’t piping hot but delicious nonetheless. Also great that they had good heating in this cold weather!

Food was delicious but nothing special. Price is London centre price. But staffs are so friendly and nice.

A gem Vietnamese restaurant in Covent Garden! There were many choices on the menu. The food tasted very good, especially the pho soup and the soft-shell crabs. On average the price was £21 per person. Would recommend!

Delicious lunch, 2 pancake rolls and a healthy beef noodle soup. Just what's needed on a cold wintry day.

I enjoy coming here after work, usually on my own, sometimes with friends. Love Beef Pho especially.

The food is very good, and the set menu is a great way to get to know what is being served. The staff were quite attentive, however they can stand around in the stairwell area which is a bit intrusive. Sitting downstairs is best. All in all, a good dining experience.

The food was fine but nothing transcendant regarding to the price. In that regard the lunch menu was kind of a deception, I'd recommend to order a full dish. Maybe with a bit of efforts regarding to the presentation of the food ? Actually the place didn't look very well taken care of. The carpet in the entrance has seen better days and the bathrooms downstairs looked kind of sad.

Edit: Came back today, six months later. Still really great food. We had the set menu which was really good value for money. Original review: I really enjoyed my food here, it was fresh and Interesting, and the service was super attentive. I'd recommend booking a table downstairs as the door not closing properly upstairs wasn't Great when it's cold. But this will be avoided by booking in advance next time.

Food was nice, prices ok But then the sudden "optional" automatically added, yet not mentioned, service fee gets added to the bill. Just pay the servers properly and add the cost to the food or let us grab the food from the counter ourselves, justifying the "optional" part of the automatically added service fee

Absolutely my favourite Vietnam restaurant in London. Food is amazing and every staff is so friendly.

Like many Vietnamese places this is rather spartan. The waiter was friendly and the service was good. Upstairs has the feel of an old relatives front room but downstairs seemed to have more vibe - perhaps because it was busier. The food was very nice and pretty cheap for the location. Certainly worth a visit.

I had dinner with with a couple of friends there on a Saturday evening. I was 30min early and I was allowed to wait at the table for my group. Everyone's food was prompt and delicious (I loved my vegan Bun Sa 🤤). We stayed there chatting for a while and even got our tea pots topped up with hot water 🙏😋 The team were friendly and welcoming and therefore we shall be back again 😎 thank you

Small portions, £5 for a bowl of mediocre rice. Mostly tasty, but the clay dish was more like fish soup; it should’ve been a viscous sauce, but to achieve that would take an hour of simmering. Meh, SEN is better.

Authentic Vietnamese restaurant. Best Pho in London! We had a prawn pho, ox cheek pho and a Bun Cha. Everything was very rich and tasty.

I moved out of London about a year ago. This was my go to place for Vietnamese food. Now I live in Barcelona and it is very hard to find authentic Vietnamese cuisine, usually bland. I was back in London for a few days and came here first. Excellent food and esquisite flavours. Love the beef pho and Vietnamese spring rolls!

The food was fresh and well cooked but very salty and terribly sweet also which I have no idea why so much sugar. Small portions and overpriced. Customer service was nice.

When we arrived at 7pm the place was really busy with all nations off the world present. What a great vibe. Glad we had booked a table Taken downstairs to our table which was ready. Menu was extensive and at first a little bewildering but not to worry as help was at hand We chose spring rolls and wings as a shared starter.they were lovely. Main course was pork belly and noodles and for me Bo char. What a delight really authentic(our son lives in Vietnam) and we visit regularly. Moderately priced for such a meal.

Such a great find! They have so many options for vegans too, which my husband enjoyed. The food was so tasty and came so quickly - we were there for dinner before a visit to the theatre to see Lion King and we were done within an hour. So happy with this restaurant, will be back!

My friend and I visited this delightful place as a pre-theatre restaurant. It was my friend's first time eating Vietnamese food and we were not disappointed! Beautiful green papaya salad followed by wok tossed prawns and beef pho. The service was warm and welcoming and they gave us a fiery and delicious chilli oil on request! Highly recommended and good value for money too.

Lovely small restaurant in Central London. Comfy atmosphere and friendly staff. Two floors: ground and underground. Food was delicious. Phò is a must try! Also had fried salt and pepper squid as starter. Tea was natural and well brewed. Would gladly come back.

Delicious and fresh Vietnamese food. Is so relaxed and welcoming inside. I love sitting upstairs and watching the world go by. Is perfect for a break while walking all around Central London. Mainly on a chilly day is a perfect stop to warm up and enjoy delicious food.

Visited twice for dinner over the last year - both times the food and service were very good. The food is authentic Vietnamese with the pork belly stew, banh xeo and bun cha being as good as I have had in Vietnam. Service is quick and friendly and the restaurant is bigger than it looks as it has a downstairs area not visible from the street.

Booked well in advance for this place. Great location on Garrick Street next door to an old favourite pub, The Lamb and Flag on Rose Street. The small ground floor restaurant area is complemented by a much larger basement room. We usually dread being shown downstairs in a venue, but this was buzzy and cosy. Initially shown to a slightly annoying table in the middle of the room, but although we hadn't mentioned it our waiter spotted a much nicer table coming free and shepherded us onto that, which is probably the only time that's ever happened to us. Top marks. Super-tasty food. Softshell crab and charcoaled honey and lemongrass chicken wings to start. Ox cheek pho and chicken and green papaya salad. All very good.

The food here is incredible, one of my favourite vietnamese places in London! Its always bustling and has seating downstairs too. The bun bo hue here is fantastic and the chilli salt and pepper squid is also a must! Highly recommend!

We had two dishes, Pho soup and Wok steered Duck with ginger and spring onions. The duck was very good, while the soup was a bit anemic with not enough green leaves. Very good service and great atmosphere.

מסעדה נחמדה, עם אווירה טובה. ישבנו בקומה התחתונה, היה קצת חם למרות הגשם בחוץ. אכלנו מרק pho עם עוף שהיה טעים אך האטריות הוגשו בתוכו כגוש אחד ולקח לי זמן להפרידן עם מזלג ועוד מנה של ברווז על ירקות מוקפצים. טעים מאד. השירות היה מהיר, חייכני ומהיר. מומלץ.

Food was delicious and we were stuffed by going for the big noodle mains and vegetables to share. Pork Loin Vermicelli Duck noodle soup Water spinach in garlic Food came very quickly. Bill did not :D Loos were not great at all.

I Googled a few restaurants around the theatre area of Soho. I was pleased to find this restaurant so wanted to check it out. The food rating was 4/5 on the door.. but it seemed pretty clean inside. Luckily there was a table available, but it's advisable to book. Upstairs is very small but there are further seats downstairs. The service was friendly, relaxed but efficient. I had the tofu curry which was really great. I'd love to go back and try the spring rolls, frogs legs and salt and pepper squid. The food was a great portion and well presented. Prices were reasonable for central London. The toilets let it down; the female toilets were a bit dirty and needed lots of maintenance. Nice little find, would go back.

The food was decent - they gave hoisin and sriracha sauce to add to the broths. Vegan, vegetarian, and meat options available. Restaurant looked small when you walked in but they had more seats downstairs. We booked ahead online and it was an easy booking process.

Went here for pho, bbq pork loin vermicelli and bahn xeo (yellow pancake). Food was quickly served and delicious despite being very close to closing time. Also took some extra spring roll because they were mouthwatering! Maybe too much food for a dinner for two, but worth it to the last bit!

The best beef pho! Summer rolls were also nice but the sauce was a bit heavy for the light rolls in my opinion. Service was excellent. Standard central London pricing.

A little gem on Garrick Street, looks like it needs a little TLC from outside. However, we were welcomed to a table downstairs, which was in a clean and spacious booth. The waiters were mostly friendly, polite and helpful. The food was great, served quickly and reasonably priced.

Food delicious as always and the service friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is relaxed and a nice change from the formality/trendiness of other Covent Garden restaurants. Perhaps a bit of decorating might be nice, especially in the loos. But overall a great pace to eat some amazing food.
