My experience seems at odds with other reviews 🫣 I had veggie spring rolls spare rib starter and duck noodle soup Portions were very generous but I felt the food was somewhat bland. I would suggest improving flavour and quality and reducing portion size Also it was pretty cold downstairs 🥶

Beef pho was very large portion and delicious.Thanks to manager and all team.Good communication and fair explaining.

Amazing service from Danny. I made an incorrect order on my part and he helped me get what I wanted to order and didn't charge for the extra. It's rare for kindness like this to be seen as often nowadays so we really appreciate it. Amazing and delicious food.

Such a great atmosphere. The staff there are amazing, so accomodating. The location is very central and easy to access. The food however is the highlight, incredible quality viet food, some of the best in central London. I cannot recommend it enough from our visit.

I came across this restaurant whilst passing through central and I’ve got to say it was absolutely amazing. From the staff to the food to the location and decor everything was spot on. I was well taken care of from the second I walked in until I left. The food tasted amazing and for the price it was a bargain! The same plate would've cost double somewhere else. I will most definitely be returning again soon with friends and family and highly recommend! P.S the Com Saigon was unbelievable!

The food here was excellent, and overall, we had a good experience—until the end of our meal. When my friends and I were paying, we needed to split the bill, which took a little time to sort out. While we were figuring out the amounts, one of the waiters suddenly got frustrated and told us not to laugh or smile. This felt completely unnecessary and unprofessional. A simple transaction turned into an uncomfortable situation, which unfortunately left a bad impression on what was otherwise a great meal.

The wait is worth it !!! Came here after watching a musical. The place has few seating visible from the outside but they have a larger downstairs eating area. We were fortunate to get seated in the top level with nice views and ordered right away, 5 different kinds of food and all of them were superb! The cuisine is mostly from North Vietnam but they also serve other regional dishes. The young Vietnamese server was so polite and thoughtful so that’s a big plus. I highly recommend this place.

The broth is very clean, and the place has a small, casual vibe, but it's still a nice spot for a casual date. Service is quick, and if you’re not a big eater, sharing one appetizer and ordering a main dish each is perfect for two people.

Tried this place on Sunday for lunch. I had the BBQ pork bun with spring rolls - hands down one of the best I’ve ever had (and trust me I’ve had a lot of buns in my life)!!!!! Tasted some of the pho as well and it was good - nice portion sizes as well. The young waiter was so kind and thoughtful as well. Heaps more seating downstairs. Would definitely recommend and will be back!

Love finding little gems like Com Viet through Open Table! Lovely welcoming staff who seemed to really appreciate our custom. The menu is varied and the food absolutely delicious, in very generous portions. I will be back for sure.

A little gem in Covent Garden. Good was fresh, tasty and plentiful. Atmosphere was cool and service brilliant. A wonderful dining experience. When we arrived there was a queue outside and the upstairs looked small and bright!, we were seated downstairs which was cozy and a lot bigger. So glad we booked!!!. We would definitely use this restaurant again.

I ate summer rolls. 2 pcs, contained mostly salad, lacked the mint taste and a little too little noodles, fresh prawns and good dipping sauce. The daughter chose fried rice and added chicken, the chicken was a bit dry and felt like it was cooked, fried rice very good very good garlic taste! The daughter thought it was the best fried rice she had ever eaten out. Pho good portion, good broth quite ok. We happened to pass by late at night. Plenty of free tables. Fast service. Com Viet is an absolute gem in the heart of London! I visited this place for my birthday and the cosy ambiance, friendly service, and authentic Vietnamese flavors made for an unforgettable dining experience. I ordered the chicken pho and my partner ordered the prawn pho, in which both was incredibly rich and flavorful – the broth tasted like it had been simmered for hours, and the fresh herbs added the perfect touch. Both broth had exquisite tastes, Chefs kiss of a Pho! The salt and pepper squid was well prepared and crisp however it won’t be something I think I’d order again as the pho was flavoursome and was just enough for me. The staff were attentive and welcoming, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Prices were reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and central location. I’m on the hunt for the best Pho and this is one of my favourites on the list! If you’re craving authentic Vietnamese cuisine, Com Viet is a must-visit. I can’t wait to return and try more from their menu!

My favorite Vietnamese restaurant in London because of food quality and budget friendly. It's 3rd time visit! Everytime I ordered Banh Xeo (Vietnamese pancake), which is amazing. This time, added papaya salad with prawn, wok with beef, water spinach and garlic, summer rolls. Every single foods was delicious👏 I will visit again.

I don't tend to write reviews but this food slapped harder than your mother and father when they slapped you after failing to understand the workings of long division for the 6th time as a young defenseless child in primary school. Come. Run

The Vietnamese food here is pretty decent. It may not be very traditional in my view, but the quality, flavour, and service are definitely there. It’s fairly priced. The staff members were friendly and attentive, which added to the positive experience. Although the place isn't huge, don’t let the decoration influence your judgment—after all, you go to a restaurant to enjoy the food, and that’s where this place truly shines. By the way, some of the best shiitake mushrooms I've ever had! I’ll definitely be going back tomorrow to ask where they source them from. As someone who grew up around the vietnamese culture, I do respect the quality offered here.

Such a reliable place in Central for hearty Vietnamese food. Great starters, great pho, great wine! I love bringing groups of friends here for a catch up meal. Ask to be seated downstairs if you want a more lively vibes, but if you want quieter seating then opt for upstairs!

We were hungry for a good Vietnamese during our London getaway. The ratings and reviews pushed us to try this restaurant. The atmosphere was ok, and the service was good. However, in terms of food, we were extremely disappointed. I don't usually write reviews when I'm disappointed, but this time I have no choice. I ordered a Bun Bo Hue, and my partner a Pho. The meat was very fatty, of very poor quality and I wonder if it was still edible. I tasted a piece, and left the dish. Even the noodles tasted reheated. My partner described the same thing to me. We also had spring rolls to accompany everything. Terrible. We left less than 10 minutes after receiving the order. There are so many other good places in London, don't waste your time (and money) here!

If the Lamb and Flag is too busy, this wonderful alternative is just up the alley and on the corner from it. The pefix lunch menu was affordable, and the food was excellent. It's some of the best ethnic food we've had in the city.

Great little place, I always try to get Vietnamese food for lunch if I’m working in town and a few times I’ve ended up here. Very nice staff, delicious authentic food (what do I know, I’ve never been to Vietnam!) and not too overpriced, for central London at least. It would’ve been a perfect lunch except for a woman talking very loudly to her friend on the table next but one to me. I don’t know how she managed to talk that much while still breathing AND eating a delicious Bun Hanoi but unfortunately she survived it. Not the restaurant’s fault of course. Thanks Com Viet!

I had lunch here with a friend a few days ago. The welcome was warm and professional. The food was absolutely delicious! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Com viet . And I will definitely be back.

My family and I thank Dany and Isabelle for giving us an excellent time in London, where we discovered Tofu, Pho and an atmosphere. A more than warm welcome, with very appreciative servers. Tasty cuisine that disturbs our palate, we don't generally appreciate broths, I liked this one. Thanks for everything!

The beef pho I had here cleansed my soul, it was so incredibly good! The staff was incredibly friendly and fast. The restaurant decor was very simple and the front door didn't properly remain closed, so it was a little cold upstairs. But that didn't take away from the lovely dinner we had here!

It's a bit expensive compared to other similar restaurants in the nearby area. The downstairs room should be redecorated, it's quite ugly.

We had a great time at Com Viet. The food was amazing and the service was very good. Conrad "we think" was working so hard to get everyone seated while juggling orders and payments, but still made sure to ask people how they enjoyed their meal.

My husband and I went here on Saturday evening and the service from our waiter was fantastic. He gave us great suggestions on what we should order as it was my first time at a Vietnamese restaurant. As vegetarians we were immensely impressed by the selection they had and the food we had ordered was full of flavour. Excellent place to get excellent Viet street food in the heart of Covent Garden. Nem (spring rolls) is well filled and meaty - almost a meal onto themselves. Satisfyingly unctuous pork belly stews is a must for ever hungry eaters like me. Bo Luc lac has lovely balance of oyster sauce and sugar. Great for single diners too.

The food satisfied our longing for Asian food. This resto located near to Covent Garden and the French lady who served us was so friendly. Love everything we ordered.

Food ranging from very bad ( deep fried squid, horribly greasy, but lacking any taste) to indifferent (pho with some remote resemblance to a real thing, but not much more. Noodles came in a solid lump, impossible to separate, meanly small portion of herbs on the side). Shrimp rolls that managed to be completely sterile to taste buds. Green papaya salad was slightly better then the rest , but not good.

There is a good variety of dishes to choose from. We enjoyed the starters and mains as shown in the picture. Not too busy on Sunday lunch time and has a number of tables down stairs too!. It could do with a makeover as furniture is old and tired... other than that great service and food.

Really nice food, shaking beef was excellent. Bun Sa was definitely the highlight. The place is like a basic cafe style. Being charged 12.5% service charge is a bit steep. Beer is a bit over priced especially with service charge included. Overall definitely worth a visit. And the value is still excellent considering central london prices.

One of the best vietmanease I have tried I had a 'com Saigon' and rice tea, the dish was really good, I was amazed, I have never tasted porc meat so good. The sercice is very attentive, polite and fast 🙏🏽

Food was delicious, we were there for lunch before a matinee so didn’t want anything too heavy so we chose 4 starters between 2 of us, we couldn’t finish them all, the summer rolls were fresh and refreshing, the salt and chilli squid was soft as anything. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed it. Only slight concern was the ladies toilets were in poor repair and I really struggled to flush, could have been very embarrassing

Awesome food. This would have to be the best Vietnamese food we've had outside Vietnam. The meal portions were quite large and the staff were fantastic. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Everything was delicious, but i expected more of the banh xeo (it was not really crispy and was overstuffed, not like the pics i see in other reviews). Nice waiter!!! The Saigon caramelised pork stew was DELICIOUS.

It's delicious, unlike the Vietnamese food you eat in Korea (Korea is also delicious, but the way it's delicious is different) Especially the pork is so tender and delicious. I highly recommend menu number 51!

What a fantastic find: really friendly staff and the most delicious food at great prices. I didn’t want my meal to end. Had a nice chat with all the staff and such great service and wonderful tasty food. When we left they were queueing and I’m not surprised. Pay a visit and you will not be disappointed. 10/10 for everything.

I happened to walk pass this place with an empty stomach and stopped by for a quick lunch. I would love to come back. The lunch deal of £12 for two course is a steal. The quality of food was great and the service was quick - great for mid-week lunch. I shall be back trying other dishes soon….

If you're a fan of Vietnamese food, then this cosy place in central London's Covent Garden is a must visit. As a vegan I was also impressed with the options. I would advise you book ahead of time though.

I lack of a long record on the topic, but I had my best vietnamese ever here!

I haven't yet visited but they phoned ahead to inform me of issues with the toilets (pipes in the street) in case it would affect our party. Very diligent of them to let their reservations know ahead. I look forward to visiting!

Food isn’t good. The recommended pork bbq was too chewy and fatty and the food lacked the Vietnamese flavour

First time here and will be back. The lunch menu is a really good deal and the food came super quickly. The food tasted fresh, and had lots of depth - would have been even better without what seemed liked frozen veg that has been reheated, but the bulk of the meal was brilliant. Would absolutely recommend for a lunch

Have been here a few times and it never fails to deliver. Good quality, authentic, Vietnamese food at an excellent price. I love it here and it's always my go to destination when I'm looking for my Vietnamese fix!

The food overall tastes nice. The outer part of the bánh xèo and the accompanying sauce are the best, in my opinion. However, the meat portion in it is a bit small, and the same goes for the crabs, which are really small. The soup in the pho is excellent, 5 out of 5. Make sure to fully squeeze the lemon into the soup and add the lemon wedge as well.

Little gem of a place and staff were fabulous. Not too much to look at from the outside but the food and staff are great. Catered very well for coeliac disease.

Was looking forward to eating here due to the good reviews but the food was very average and the service wasn't the best. It took over 30 minutes for us to have our order taken. I had vegetarian spring rolls and the tofu curry and it was very average, not worth the money. Ive been to Vietnam and had high hopes but unfortunately I wouldn't come back here for food again. Wouldn't recommend

Came here Friday 17 May for my birthday. Had a fantastic evening with original tasty Vietnamese food. Some in our group had the set menu (£33) which was excellent value. Pho and beef were delicious The French lady serving was nice and friendly and after hearing it was by birthday even managed to bring out of free bottle of Prosecco. Had a memorable birthday with the family. Big thanks to all the staff. Would recommend this restaurant which is one of the best for Vietnamese food in London
