Here we found a quiet, pleasant respite from the busy London streets. The fayre on offer was slightly limited but price, quality and service was very good. Seating again is fairly limited but - get there early and you should be able to enjoy a pleasant lunch.

The Photographers Gallery is situated down an alley, close to Oxford Circus, on the south side of Oxford Street. It provides a welcome break from the busy and tired fast food chains nearly. The cafe is clean and quiet with large tables suitable for working. The coffee is good too. Not many people seem to know about it so go if you need a rest from shopping. Next time I shall see what the gallery itself has to offer!

We turned off the busy Main Street and found this little cafe very quiet and welcoming. I normally avoid salad like the plague, but they had one with potatoes, beans, onions etc, and it was lovely! Also a very yummy latte. They do cakes and lots of veggie food. Didn’t go in the gallery but the staff were all friendly. Lovely for a quick pit stop. £16 for 3 of us to have some small plate of food and a drink. Very good.

Away from the buzz of New Oxford Street, this is a buzzy contemporary lication for tea/coffee or lunch - with an excellent range of wholesome fresh sandwiches and salads (plus cakes). Well worth the diversion.

Very interesting Saturday morning at the Photographers' Gallery (free morning entry) followed by a really lovely lunch in the cafe for our family group of seven people. There was a great choice of vegetarian options (salads, soup, quiches), the portions were big and the food was fresh. I didn't have a dessert but other members of the group enjoyed theirs - especially the tarte tatin! The cafe is small but with a nice, relaxed atmosphere and the staff there and in the rest of the gallery were friendly and helpful. Well worth a visit.

We stopped by when visiting Conspiracy Week exhibition. We had their apple tart and flat white coffees- really tasty. There's nice little gift shop downstairs too. Good selection of quiches and sweet pastries too. Considering this cafe is located in one of the busiest districts in London it didn't feel crowded nor loud.

The cafe at The Photographers gallery is a little hidden gem sandwiched between Soho and Oxford St and is a great location to meet for either business or pleasure. A good selection of hot drinks and tasty pastries and you get a couple of hours of free wifi as well. The only comment is that when the cafe gets busy due to the hard surfaces and sharp angles of the space it can get noisy and this could be a little distracting. This is a small concern and will certainly be a regular location for meetings and a stop off during visits to London.

This is a perfect place for a reasonably priced lunch or coffee/cake in the heart of London. I is tucked away down a side street a couple of minutes walk off Carnaby street and Oxford street. Try their quiche with one of their sallads - excellent lunch for under £6. The cakes are great and no complaints about the coffee either. Usually quiet so no problem getting a table. If you have a few minutes to spare pop upstairs and check out one of the exhibitions - free before noon.

While visiting the Terence Donovan exhibition, which is fantastic, we stopped at the cafe for coffee and cake. Both excellent if a little pricy. We enjoyed the gallery overall five floors of exhibition space to explore all very well set out with some interactive elements. Nice gift shop in the basement too.

If you want to escape the commotion of Oxford Street, and try something more inventive for lunch than your average high-street chain, look no further! TPG cafe' serves great salads (freshly made daily on the spot) as well as quiches. The coffee is great, and the atmosphere pleasantly buzzy. Take a stroll in the galleries and feast your eyes on the great photography...you won't be disappointed!

This is a great spot, a few steps from the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street, it's a relaxing Oasis, a chance to relax and enjoy some delicious eats. There's a good range of food and drinks, ideal for brunch, lunch, afternoon tea/coffee with cake etc. Prices are very reasonable, and quality is good. There's the added bonus of free photographic exhibitions and an interesting shop too. A good place, that never seems too busy or hurried - and a good spot to meet up with friends in the West End.

I was determined to write a review about this place because I had the best customer service experience ever. I am allergic to nuts, but forgot to mention it at the counter, and the label on the food I selected did not mention it either. The blame was on me to some extent, since I should always mentions my allergy; I also spotted the pine nuts before I ate anything, so it was fine really. However, once I mentioned it to the chef, he reacted in the most unexpectedly friendly and accommodating way ever; he not only apologised *profusely*, but he also gave me a second meal, side salad, and drink on the house. This kind of omission happens very often at restaurants, but I have never come across such an incredibly warm and apologetic response. Also the food is great and very reasonably priced. Will be coming back for sure.

The summer rolls with prawns were nice. Light and healthy. Comes with a dipping sauce. Two summer rolls in a portion. Would recommend. I didn't try anything else as I just wanted a light snack.
