have had to two separate home deliveries...cant find any fault in the food 🍲 or in customer service and deliveries. would use this take away again .friendly customer service

Used this for 1st time this evening...food spot on delivery spot on.will definitely be using them again.

I had a delivery last night. My partner and I noticed the rice was stodgy and wet. I had an egg fried rice, she also had a special fried rice. Upon eating the rice… we both thought.. it’s a bit mushy and not much flavour?! The rice started tasting off. We smelt it and it smelt absolutely sour. We called the restaurant and he said there’s nothing he could do. He instructed we would need to bring the rice in tomorrow (which is now today) for the chef to look at it. He then argued that “the rice was freshly cooked. The chef said he cooked it 3 hours ago”. Baring in mind… yesterday was as a hot day which later turned into a smoggy and humid night. Although this might be TMI ( we have been experiencing symptoms of food poisoning) need I say more?

Very nice food, with very reasonable prices. Portions are very good. Menu has a good variety of food.

I have eaten here my whole life, I've never noticed any decline in food or service. Staff are always friendly, whether I pick up or order a delivery. I am a picky eater so I always have rather specific requests and they always accommodate my needs with a smile. I believe their food to be good value for money, my tummy has never not been satisfied eating here. Thank you Phoenix for delicious meals every time! :)

Didn't realize how dirty this place was until after I had ordered and it was too late to cancel... Needs a good clean inside and there's no hygiene rating displayed which is suspicious. The man taking my order had filthy black nails too.... The food was stale, the chicken smelled off! I took it back and got a refund with no questions asked

Ordered today and the guy on the phone needs to pay for lessons in manners. So rude and has 0 respect. Needs to be replaced ASAP! Clearly has no customer service skills!!

Great takeaway, helpful staff great customer service no photo as we were very hungry and ate food before we even thought about a photo tastyyy food.

I am always trying Chinese takeaways because I am addicted to noodles.Tried the chicken noodles twice from Phoenix Chinese Take Away which were a bit soft.I think there must be two chefs as once it was ok, the other time was too oily.Same with the Singapore noodles which were oily.The curries are bland, oily and somehow powdery in texture.Overall, ok but the noodles were too soft.

Best chinese around. Even tho i moved out of croydon, i still get my weekly fill from here

Food not really tasty. Noodles Just made with no feel. Have only slight taste of Chinese. Same food i buy from other Chinese shop was excellent flavour and delicious.

Clean, well maintained customer area and very polite greeter. I have had food from here many times over the years and they have always been efficent and polite with really great food although the portions were on the small side. I would go as far to say their food was the best tasting, it would have been a very hungry belly and slight purse that would send you elsewhere. But it seems they have fallen in line with everyone else sadly. The effort they once made and quality simply was not there on this purchase the rice was long grain and tasteless not Jasmine as it used to be. The seasoning on their spare ribs which gave that distinctive taste, smell and welcoming red appearance to the meat has gone, the peking sauce is equal to thickened vinegar flavoured with cheap ketchup and a dash of something brown so to distract one to believing some effort was made in producing this disgusting slurry. The rest of the order was mediocre nothing terrible ....the point I'm making is that wonderful food they use to produce and the effort which was so apparent has simply disappeared. You will now receive the same old- over priced stuff that most Chinese styled takeaways spill out to the hard working public

Never go to this takeaway since it has got taken over getting more tight with there dishes lady on the phone said all in one container is not meant to be half and half big lumps of chicken breast when the last people were there now sliced getting less chicken more rice now gonna make my own i think £4.90 for rice what a joke

After being a loyal customer for 10 years without any complaints I was very disappointed with my last two takeaways, firstly forgetting the no card payments & delivery charge and point system removal (long time customers will remember) they tried to short change me twice by giving me shrimp tips instead of the salt and chilli king prawns which I ordered. It clearly states on the menu king prawns! After the first time I called and asked them to make sure to give me king prawns as that was what I was paying nearly £6 for and they did it again, so won't be going back as that was the only reason I stayed with them for so long, very disappointed, dishonour be upon them.

Last night we ordered for the first time, good delivery time however food taste horrible. Cheap large size brown rice and old chicken meat. Never again.

1st time customer and the food tasted ok but unfortunately i found several hairs on my house special fried rice.... guess i should have ordered the normal one instead!!

Después de comer en este restaurante chino durante muchos años, con sólo un par de malas platos sin olvidar la porción extraña de rollitos de primavera la comida es genial.Me quedé en el trabajo una noche y mi colega quería comer así que me recomendó este una vez tuvimos cenado él había comprobado en el sitio web de higiene de los alimentos y se sorprende que tenía 1 estrellas. Dios mío me sentía enfermo y muy sucio que tuve que hacer yo enfermos la sensación me había comido comida que probablemente no ha sido almacenado correctamente o ratas habían sido corriendo en los fideos simplemente no sabes. Nunca volver jamás!

He comido desde este establecimiento muchas veces a lo largo de los años y realmente no se le puede echar la culpa a la calidad de la comida. El servicio es agradable, la señora que sirve es muy acogedor y el menú no es tan enorme que se pierde en lo que creo que asegura una cierta cantidad de calidad. Mi única queja es, deseo que las sopas proporcionan llegó en un recipiente más grande ... son muy sabrosos, pero el tamaño es realmente decepcionante, a un punto en que ir a otro lugar para conseguir mi sopa y terminar comprando mi comida china en otro sitio que me parece una pena. Pero sí ... este lugar es limpio, el servicio es agradable y la comida es muy sabrosa.

Finalmente me dieron a probar esta comida para llevar chino. Tuve mi costumbre, carne arroz frito. Yo opté por el gran tamaño, como a muchos de los sitios chinos por dar pequeñas porciones y éste fue mi cena. Aunque el tamaño de la porción era bastante bueno, el precio era 22% más altos que los chinos habituales para llevar que frecuentan, en Streatham Common. Me dieron chili aceite encima, tal como lo había solicitado. El servicio era educado y profesional, pero es sólo en efectivo, no aceptan tarjetas. La entrega está disponible. Abierto 6 días (cerrado los martes). La comida no estaba mal, pero lástima el precio.
