Pho999 in Hackney

Me and an old school friend have eaten here a couple of times. The food is very good and very reasonable priced. The décor is of somewhat faded grandeur. The staff were both friendly, attentive and efficient. I recommend it.

Por un largo tiempo ahora me he ido a un restaurante vecino Tre Viet. Hoy probamos algo diferente ya que el precio y cada vez más rutas mal servicio al cliente en Tre Viet.Así que nos fuimos a Pho 999 y saludaron calurosamente y inmediatamente sentados. Era domingo, así que estaba tranquilo, pero la comida era muy buena y fresca. Y el personal muy amable, paciente y bien informada acerca de su menú. La comida era decente, no como sabrosa y al lado pero muy bueno. Mi única queja fue que la pared al lado de la mesa estaba sucia, especialmente cerca de complelty el suelo. Había incluso una pieza antigua de fideos pegado.

Normalmente vamos a Tre Viet al lado pero decidimos probar este lugar a pesar de que parece un poco vacío y el nombre no es muy atractivo. Sin embargo, las mujeres que nos fue muy bien y tenía un buen conocimiento del menú. La comida era promedio y bueno. Volvería otra vez!

Nos decidimos a revivir algunos de la cocina vietnamita increíble que experimentamos en nuestras vacaciones el pasado año.Me gustaría caminamos Mare Street en Hackney y noté que algunos buenos restaurantes vietnamitas Hackney guardas mientras que volver a Londres estación central después de la visita a los campos de cervecería año pasado así que decidimos dar uno de ellos.El restaurante era muy amplia y tenía algunos música de ambiente jugando, pensamos que nos a un ganador.Lo primero que me di cuenta, que éramos los únicos, era temprano, así que no estaba muy preocupado.Ambos tuvimos sopa de fideos picante de vidrio, tomé mariscos ambivalente y mi esposa tuvo la carne.La mía tenía 3 gambas, 2 pequeños trozos de calamar y 1 pescado cortada de pelota en rodajas de 4. Mi esposa es sopa sin embargo, consistía en un pequeño oído de las vacas. La mía no hubiera estado bien si había unas 4 veces el marisco, y no era tan salada. También probé un trozo de carne, sabía un poco extraño, pero no desagradable. Fue regados con una cerveza de Saigón. También me di cuenta de que la música de fondo era ahora me conducir un poco loco, ya que estaba en repetir, jugar una y otra vez.Mientras camina a la estación mi esposa me dijo que estaba un poco harto sentimiento, y justo antes de que nos fuimos a la cama echó la mayoría de.En general, no fue una gran experiencia, no volveremos.

He dado a este lugar 2 * porque es bonito por dentro y el servicio era bueno. Sin embargo, la comida que tuvimos fue verdaderamente horrible. El pato era principalmente grizzle. El arroz de coco estaba frío y sin duda no es en realidad arroz de coco - arroz con algunos cocos secos. Sabía crujiente, ha sido sentado conseguir algunos. El salteado ternera frito con limón y leche de coco era horrible. Soy probablemente parte de culpa de intentando comer comida que era nuclear green, pero mi estómago no aprecian. Queríamos una comida sencilla rápida, que es exactamente lo que servían. Nos sorprendió que el restaurante no estaba más lleno en un viernes por la noche cuando la siguiente puerta vietnamita estaba lleno. La pho de mi marido estaba buena, aunque muy picante. Elegí barbacoa de carne marinado con salteado de fideos. Era muy sabrosa luminoso y fresco. El servicio era bueno.

My wife and I dined here 1 Saturday night, quick service and the place was fairly quite,my meal had bits of hot pepper with my chicken and had to order some coconut rice to blend with it to cool it down, apart from that it was okay, my wife had no problem with hers,,so just watch out for the red peppers.

For a Vietnamese person who was craving for pho, the food was satisfying! Decent size bowl of pho and a lovely home made lemonade :) so refreshing and nice. Would recommend this place it's actually good.

Recientemente se trasladó a Hackney, visitó de prisa una noche para ir a comer algo. ¡Qué sorpresa la comida era excelente, al no haber tenido vietnamita antes el menú fue explicado y pedimos, si jugando un poco seguro! Mucha comida! pero comimos todo y lo disfrutamos. La otra noche fuimos a ver si un descuento, pero no era un gran pequeño lugar muy razonable.

After being struck down with winter lurgee, a streaming nose and sore throat I decided to "pho999" ( who doesn't love a pun ) on my way back from work.The waiter recommended I order the spicy beef soup. It was delicious and certainly did the trick. I have since been back for more soup to go as it's now the first thing I crave when I'm feeling run down.

My favorites vietnamese nearby having the kitchen close we decided to give this one a go. Uninviting big room with white walls. Waitress not welcoming either. We ordered the chicken satay skewers and 2 Pho soups. The satay sauce was horrible, very liquid with no peanuts and no taste at all. By far the worst I have ever had. Both Pho soups were bland with no seasoning. By this point we decided to call the waitress over. The manager then came and said that they did it like this there and that their customers liked it bland.... With regards to the satay sauce she said it was coconut and peanuts... We couldn't taste either though... Ended up not having our food and left hungry and disappointed. There are delicious vietnamese restaurants nearby..

I stumbled across this place with a colleague while out for a lunch time meeting. I have to say I was very unsure when I entered. It is quite a large space, very clean, and there was no one in there. To me thats never a good sign. However, as we ordered more people started to enter.We asked for the Lunch Special which compromised of about 25 different dishes. Each cost £7 and was served with a soft drink. Both of us had a chicken stir fry, mine with rice and my colleagues with salad. The portions were large and the taste was great. Unlike many other asian restaurants the food was not greasy.The service was quite good and the manageress was very friendly. I will definitely stop by again for lunch and would recommend this if you passing and are looking for something cheap that tastes great!

Me and my boyfriend went here recently for some food, and found it good. Great service, lovely food and we also got to bring in our own wine for a small fee - would definitely recommend.

This newish restaurant is next door to the popular Tre Viet where we have eaten frequently. The food is just as good (if not better) and the ambiance and noise level, and hence the service, are a big improvement. The layout is much less functional than Tre Viet and other similar local Vietnamese restaurants with their rows of tables close together making conversation difficult.We started with fresh summer rolls and crispy pancake with tofu followed by beef salad, steamed sea bass with ginger and Singapore noodles. There was a good choice of drinks - we tried Japanese sake, Hanoi beer and Sauvignon blanc. The food was excellent, clearly cooked to order and this was matched by the service. If you want somewhere crowded and noisy go next door but, for a more civilised evening eat here. And you will not be pressured towards the end of your meal to release your table.
