Banhmi11 in Hackney

Fui allí cuando era Tet ( año nuevo vietnamita) porque vi esta tienda para un par de veces. Cuando le pregunté al personal por vietnamita entonces ella siempre respondía por ingleses. ¡Incluso mis amigos europeos dieron sorprendido por su comportamiento como parece grosero. De todos modos, la comida era normal, pero las cosas nunca me hace volver es el camino de servicio al cliente.

Habíamos oído hablar mucho sobre este restaurante, así que fuimos pensando que sería una gran experiencia. Nos quedamos un poco decepcionados por la calidad de la comida y el servicio. Los precios son razonables pero incluso si es una especie de comida rápida, la calidad no estaba allí. la Bahn mi eran normales, la carne a la parrilla y pasos quemadas pocas verduras y hierbas ...

I really don't recognise the negative reviews on this place. Tasty food, fresh ingredients, friendly staff and very reasonable prices. It's a simple proposition and it works.

Good food, cheap, great location and nice staff! I will certainly recommend the chicken noodles..... hummmmm so yummy. They also have a book. Check it out!

Maybe the Pho is good. Despite ordering the spicy version, the chicken bun was virtually tasteless; and no one who isn't allergic to peppers could have detected any spice.

Avoid, overpriced summer rolls with no sauce or flavour for the cost of a nice meal . I had eaten here before, quality and service has drastically reduced

I love this place. The food is consistently good and fairly priced. I went for Chicken curry in rice box with haus salad inside. So tasty.

Nos movía hasta aquí al mediodía un sábado a ver la señal cerrada colgando en la ventana. Decidimos darles 10 minutos antes y aparece dentro de preguntar si estaban abiertos en la actualidad. Por desgracia eran en realidad se abren y el personal había olvidado de gire a la señal.Pedimos una tofu y un cerdo Bahn Mi (baguette vietnamita de estilo). No tenían ningún tofu así que tuvimos que tener un pollo en su lugar. Me quedé bastante sorprendido ya que fueron los primeros clientes del día. También a pesar de que acababa de abrir ese día no re equipada con cualquier bebida tan sólo tenían espumoso y aún agua disponible.La comida en sí era más que comestible, pero un poco decepcionante. Sin embargo nunca he tenido Bahn Mi antes, así que no tengo nada para comparar con. El cerdo era muy grasoso y el pollo se suponía que iba a ser escabeche y asamos pero sabía muy sencilla. Aparte del pan en sí podíamos haber pedido algo muy similar y tan buena calidad en otro lugar.

walking past this little restaurant, we decided to stop by and have a quick light lunch .i ordered a pho soup with beef, the large version and my friend went for the pork belly with rice. we ate each a pork belly and noodle spring roll. the rolls were fresh and succulent, due to their large size it was difficult to dip the end into the sauce plastic tiny pot.our "mains" were equally delicious, i added some chilli to my soup which was then spicy but i like spicy food. the content of the soup was crunchy and fresh , with bean sprouts, spring onions and coriander. the broth was tasteful, and there plenty of beef slices which were very tender.a very good experience

El vientre de cerdo era tan duro que tuve que sacarlo de mi sandwich. Además, no había pate y sin salsa sriracha. ¿Qué es el punto entonces? Al final me dejaron con un pedazo de empapada baguette con salsa de soja y montón de verduras, que pagué £5,5 para. Mejor prueba ellos desde una cabina en el mercado de calle de Hoxton. Ese chico hace perfecto para £4!

At first it was a bit disappointing. Banh Mi 11 was out of the dish Greg wanted and they were also out of the bread for Banh Mi's. With the help of the staff we ordered two Crackling Pork Belly dishes over rice, a mini beef Pho, and a couple spring rolls. Here was the depth of flavor, spice, and salt I had been craving all day!!! The pork belly was luxurious with the a nice bit of crunch, the rice fluffy, and the vegetables perfect. The beef Pho was jam packed with spice and warmth. The spring rolls were good but at room temperature it wasn't to my taste. Later in the week I did go back for a Banh Mi. The meat and rice combination is much better. The baguette these use is a french baguette not the typical crusty bread you normally receive for a Banh MiI highly recommend a visit when in the mood for bold and bright flavors!

Only okay, none of the floss stuff I like and inexplicably use west Indian hot sauce instead of sriracha (sp?). With so many good Viet places around doing it right there's no reason to settle for this place

I've been to Banhmi11 so often since my school is just 10 mins walk nearby. Although there are quite a few Vnese restaurants in the Shoreditch area, Banhmi11 is so unique since it reminds me of an elegant and classic Vietnamese-French style, from the restaurant decor to the types of food they serve here. The environment is so cozy, friendly and especially the food are truly ' authentic' and market fresh Vietnamese cuisine at great prices. Truly recommend this place!!

Très bon repas entre amies dans ce petit resto vietnamien où tout est frais du jour et ça se sent. Les rouleaux de printemps sont à tomber! Le thé au gingembre vraiment savoureux. Le service est délicat, l'endroit agréable si on souhaite consommer sur place et les prix très abordables.

In an area full of Vietnamese food, this place stands out for having a wider variety than most of the other banh mi joints and a less rushed atmosphere. Great for lunch although it does stay open for early dinner too.

My brother and I popped in here on the way to the Village Underground and like I said...wow! You receive a very warm welcome and a great and varied menu of food, all fresh and something for every palate. I ordered a veggie baguette full of crunchy salad, mayo and marinated tofu. The flavours were amazing and I felt a touch disappointed when I had finished. Lovely place, lovely people, great food....been back already!

Some of the finest banh mi I have tasted in London. Loved the imperial grilled pork and fish. The owners Anh and Van are always so welcoming and friendly. When I fancy a light snack, the prawn summer rolls are perfect.
