Pho Viet 37 in Birmingham

Very dishonest restaurant. Please remember to check your bill carefully before paying. They charged a few pounds more than the price shown in the menu. They had recalculated and adjusted the bill impolitely but did not say sorry for the mistake at all. The mistake is not a careless mistake but on purpose. Also. Don’t order anything which is not in the menu. Otherwise they would charge an unreasonable price. The food is no good at all. I will never go to this restaurant again.

Very good fresh food and great service

The food is too poor quality. When eating, I feel like the food has been left for a long time, is spoiled, and has a strange smell, but I still try to eat it. On the way home, my stomach started to churn. Hope you don't have serious diarrhea.

What can I say about this place, one of the worse Vietnamese food I have ever had. I came of the M40 from London a 2 hour journey and went past this place and thought I'd pop in with my family to have our dinner, but boy I wish I had just played it safe and went to McDonald's instead. First of the place was empty for a Friday and the place very outdated inside. The waiter who was taking our order was on a different planet, so lost he didn't even know what he was writing down. The guy made so many mistakes with our orders, gave us the wrong dishes, added extra meals on for no reason when nobody ordered them and then got confused himself when we brought it up to him. Then when the bill came, don't know how they calculated the end bill they literally added their own because it's in their language not in English, so I had to go through each meal and had seen that they charged me for one item that we didn't receive and one item we didn't even order. Honestly, I can see why no locals go to this restaurant and why it's empty for a prime time Friday. AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS.

Spot on. Loved the food and forgive the lack of fresh chillies. The dry flat noodles were seriously delicious. Vietnamese chit-chat made it feel like we were on holiday.

Horrible, disgusting, sickening food. Visited this restaurant with family and was looking forward to some authentic Vietnamese food, what we got was a bowl of sick. Soon as our pho soup arrived, the smell of meat just made us feel sick. I couldn’t even go near the bowl without feeling sick and I didn’t want to vomit. That’s how bad it smelt. The meat smelt like it was long expired and didn’t look appealing at all. No word can describe how bad it looked and smelt. They kept telling us to add sauce and garlic to it, but we just couldn’t eat it. It was so bad that we just paid for the food and left. I don’t know what they served us, but that was not authentic Vietnamese food and we have been to Vietnam. Waste of money and time. Would never recommend and if they continue to serve such horrible food, they will close down soon. No one want to eat what they served us.

I asked for veremecilli noodles, but was given spaghetti noodles; spring rolls are awful; they taste strangely different; they seem to have been cooked for a very long time, then reheated before being delivered; and fried rice is decent but not great. Overall experience was awful; I'm not sure how they received a 5-star rating, but I assume it was from their own staff.
