Pete's in Nuneaton and Bedworth

Had large cod and chips...as always spot on very young friendly staff...superbly clean environments...food plentiful and great quality and portion size..also...Best price for Mike's around less than £6.00 for large Cod n chips...now that's magic....

Absolutely shocking, will not be returning. Kebab was minimal with soggy bread. Despite being asked to put chips separate, they were wrapped with the kebab!! By the time we got home, it was cold and soggy, with the salad mixed in with the chips. Absolutely vile, only fit for the bin.

20 mins for chips and curry sause, more keen on taking g everyone's money as soon as they come through thr door then serve people, I'll use the one just up the road from now on much better

Why do the staff forget they are serving you? Miss your order by several people and when asked, waiting for chips, every time. Seriously, agree with the other review. High price range, and run by kids who just don’t care. Some staff are so unfriendly and rude have complained but never changes. Lucky if the order is right when we get home!!! Such a shame, wish the owners would look at having a better service, pay and prep food straightaway, not difficult.

Don't order online for collection tried a few times but every time there's been something missing resulting in having to return

Enjoyed medium cod chips and peas on a Friday night. Excellent as on previous visits and great value. My go to chippy whenever I’m in the area.

Pleasant clean environment. Quality of food not good. Ordered steak & kidney pie and it became apparent when I got home this was heated in a microwave probably more than once. The pastry and crust were soggy the contents were dry although I must say the cat seemed to enjoy it. Expensive cat food. Won’t be getting my custom again.

Visit this shop regularly 1/2 price deals daily staff are always friendly portions and quality spot on! Keep up the good work a satisfied customer.

Not impressed. Nuneaton shop way better. Fish tasteless and chips mushy. Maybe we went on a bad day.

Popped in for a quick lunch and had the fish and chips lunch special with curry sauce, all very good and tasty, best fish I have had for a while

Just went to get fish and chips and they were closed at 9.15 on a Friday, dissatisfied.. Usually have good review but unfortunately not on this occasion

Have been going here for three years, the daily deals are great value for money, the servings are great, the food tastes great! I am really surprised by the bad reviews - in three years I haven't had a bad meal and we go at least once a week! Try it for yourself you wont be disappointed

Bedworth premises - service quick took money first and waited for about 2 mins, got order and left and to return home to about 10 chips and a mini thin fish with thick greasy batter, this place is a rip-off the bad reviews are just that I`m afraid. It was just a very thin piece of cod with thick batter to make it look bigger served in a tray now, where before it was decent portions - bag of chips with the fish on top, in order to maintain LOW volume of chips CONSISTENTLY ie. scam, it was tasteless very thin and disappointing. £5.99 for this, wont hurry to go back there again.

I went into Peres in Bedworth and had 3 lots of medium fish and chips.All 3 portions of fish had too much batter and there was a a very thin slice of something white I think they call it fish. Chips were beautiful but the fish was dry so I phoned to complain and the lady was so rude to me on the o phone. Will not be buying fish from there again.

£6 for a tray of doner meat I’ve had more meat in a kebab batch… use to love the place but I will no longer support your business if this is what you call acceptable for a £6 portion disgraceful

Ordered 3 Aug picked this place over the usual chick king for ease of parking what a mistake. Order took 40 minutes told to wait outside , got the food home chips cold and more scrap that chip Sausages were not battered as specified on the order and Luke warm Can see why they try and do 50% off now on certain days as the quality / service is lacking

Closing in 15 minutes staff totally ignored my wife whilst cleaning in a hurry to finish no doubt,not customer friendly.. and we only live local.. so we will use the chick king from now on.. read my review and stay away

Just nipped in for a Mediterranean pitta and salad. The chicken was amazing! Lots of it and freshly cooked. A lad infront of me opted for chips with his, the portion was massive. Will deffo be going back.

Overpriced to the extreme. I can forgive high prices for top quality. Nope, non of that here. Undercooked gritty chips and watery peas to go with dry hard pie.

This fish and chip show is my favourite! It has very good deals/prices with a good selection and easy to work too if you are in the area

This chippy can't get chips right! Not peeled properly, dirt on skin, black spots, random shapes, poorly cooked and had obviously been sat around. Only a couple of chips edible. Fish had far too much batter. Cod? Not sure, but was mostly edible, although some bits were very grey. Staff not particularly warm and inviting as per website. Hate plastic trays for chips. Was a mini fish and chips, which I took home, to find all these issues.Won't be returning ever. Has someone taken it over, or the cook changed?, because everything promised on the website is missing. Car park surface quality isn't great either.

Absolutely brilliant value mini fish and chips which are well worth travelling for. Went on good Friday and was busy but did not have to wait long at all.

Over past 6 months the standard have dropped. Kebabs are small as they only do one size and the meat is dry tryed different times Makes no difference so Opted for what they are passing for COD Which definitely wasn’t it was very dry and wouldn’t even flake away dog fish / rock salmon I would say could not eat fish . Chips are anaemic a albino has git more colour so 3 fish and 2 lots of chips were binned. Will not visit Pete’s again chick king up the road from now

The all day special is well worth the effort... but hey lets cook the chips a bit better maybe the oil is not hot enough...i now go into Chicking not much difference in the price and chips are top quality

I ordered a mini fish and chip deal which wasn't enough food for my 13year old son. My Daughter and I were going to share a kebab meat and chips in a tray. The tray wasn't full, there was barely enough chips to cover half the tray and 1/4 of the tray was meat. My 10 year old daughter ate it all, wasn't enough to share. Really terrible value for money. very disappointing and left hungry after our meal!!!

Rock hard, dry pies and undercooked chips that hadnt been eyedbso were gritty and full of black bits. Disgusting and surely a breach of hygiene regulations.

Great mini fish n chips, great value. We normally have the mini fish n chip £1.99 offer which is a good potion size. Our friends came up from Reading and was completely gobsmacked with the price and portion size they thought it was fantastic and wished they had the same near them.... Plenty of parking available for customers.

Hadn't been before as our local chippy was closed. The only thing I can say was ok was the car parking facility. The girl serving us seemed as if she couldn't be bothered. We had fish & chips which were the smallest portions I've ever had and they weren't cheap. Definately not going there again!!!

My partner and I stopped off at Pete's Bedworth yesterday (28/10/2017) and we both decided to have a donor kebab both in pitta bread.

Came here to try some different places to eat...it was ok but preferred our other chippy so wont be returning..just matter of our taste...nothing much wrong with what we got just preferred tbe fish batter and the way chips cooked elsewhere

Este es un super, chips (instalación n para comer en) ha sido Bedworth durante años. Inmediatamente impactado por tanto el tamaño y la limpieza de las instalaciones. Cuando fui sólo había una pequeña cola que es inusual, como muchos lugares que dan un buen servicio la cola es bastante larga.

went in today for lunch as advertising 1/2 price fish and chips, that didnt start till 5pm, offered a fish, chip and pea deal,Disgusting swimming in grease, re heated chips, soggy hard edged batter with no fish in A COMPLETE WASTE of £9, evan the peas are watered down, IN the bin, Medium fish meal, with no fish DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY
