The burgers were overcooked and lacked the usual enjoyment we’ve come to expect. It’s clear that the quality of their food has significantly declined, which is really disappointing.

The food was good as always but that hijabi lady was really loud and rude. Also flirting with my husband telling him what days she works and giving weird vibe which I think is very unprofessional.

I love the food in here, and I have been visit this place for the last 7 years,it is the best grill chicken that I ever had in England.

Today, I purchased strips and chicken pieces for dinner, the food was hopeless, cold and chicken pieces had feathers on it and wasn't cleaned properly which give us very bad impression and undesirable to consume. If anyone purchases chicken pieces, please be careful.

Uncle zulfiqar the best owner of peri peri original definitely has set the standards high the grilled wings, grilled chicken, combo burgers are absolutely delicious I don’t tend to leave reviews, but this place definitely deserves it. I wholeheartedly recommend the people of Slough to try their food. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for families and friends to gather. I’ve been to Peri Peri many times for party dinners, especially late at night. The staff always treats us very well and ensures we’re looked after. I highly recommend this place for both parties and individual dining!

I've been a customer of this chicken shop for over 10 years, mainly due to convenience. There have been rare occasions when the food is really good, but lately, the quality is very hit and miss—you never know what you're going to get. One of the biggest issues is the staff. They can be quite rude and lack basic manners, with many struggling to speak basic English, which really affects the overall experience. They don't accept card payments and only want cash, which raises suspicions about their dealings with HMRC. It's even worse because they discreetly take card payments from some regular customers, sometimes they do, sometimes they don't (I know as I have received this treatment). Overall, not a great experience and it's quite disappointing seeing this place decline over the years

Bad customer service told them to add garlic dips in order and paid extra but they agree and do not add the dips, food was cold soggy and the chips were like cardboard rubber all staff is rude

In my opinion this is easily the best tasting chicken in the whole of Berkshire, nothing else really comes close. This restaurant takes up all the customers in the area so that pretty much speaks for itself. The chicken is always consistently juicy and saucy, and that flavour is too good. I’ve been coming here for about 6 years with my father and we’ve never had a bad experience ever. We always take extra chicken home because it’s so good. Their burgers are also brilliant. I don’t even live near slough but we come here once to twice a month as a treat to enjoy their food. I hope this place opens up in west London, they will have an endless amount of customers there I think.

I went to peri peri farnham road with my kids, we order grill chicken and 2 burgers. Food was delicious, better than any other shop in slough and staff was very polite and helpful 😋 👌 👍 I definitely recommend it

Great service but gave no sauce

I ordered half chicken and it was collection. When I opened food at home all chicken burned and outer layer black with burnt. I am surprised how you can packed such type of burnt food. Now I ordered McDonald at 1.06am. Disappointed

Absolutely amazing customer service by Rehan !! Such a humble and sweet guy with a heart of gold ! I didn’t have cash on me and their card machine did not work, he gave me my full order and told me to pay next time !! Totally speechless at his humanity!

Walked in on Tuesday evening, ordered 10 strips, took my card out to pay the cashier said cash only, he said the machine was not working, Surprise 😲 Surprise 😲, why is it when you walk into most Pakistani owned shops, they only take cash, & the card machine is not working!!? I'll tell you what it is, it's called money laundering, cash can be hidden, HMRC you guys should investigate all these business owners who only take cash, all there finances should be scrutinised, also soon it'll be a cashless society, & most probably you will see these corrupt cash takers fade away.

I never recommend this as a work place as the owner "Ali" never paid me for my 5 days work wages.I worked 35 hours and when I asked for money he said it was your training,we don't pay like that.

Food is nice but to save card charges to the bank they never take card payments, who keeps cash these days. There should be some way to complain about them not taking card payments

Last Friday I tried their Peri peri chicken deal. It was so amazed and full of taste. Service was very great. And they deal customer with very friendly behaviour.

The manager is very rude. 0 customer service, does not know how to speak to customers.

Food is good , but service is really poor , called to place order and guy who answered couldn’t understand plain English , so he cancelled the call. Manage to get through after a few minutes calling again , managed to place an order with extreme difficulty had to speak to him in his native language to ensure he understood the entire order . Went to collect the order made me wait a further 10mins , wanted to charge me for a lemon & herb dip even though having placed an order for £114 - forgot to pack 3 Salads with order and gave cold chips .. If you place a large order they are likely to get something wrong depends on your luck. Great for a meal, but a disaster waiting to happen if you order is a little over £50.

We were hungry just popped into Peri Peri Chcken original Farnham Road , Slough. Food was delicious and very cheap price. Good service. I will recommend their Lamb Kofta is worth trying.

I like it so much and lady manager she is very good doing her job very well taking care or all the customers. I go there every weekend and they serve me really well, fresh food always top notch.

The reason why this shop is soo busy is because the food is decent. Word on road is that they take a lot of paper every week. I recommend the wings, they have a unique taste and the staff are nice.

Very rude staff, especially the chubby girl in white shirt. Today we were sitting next to the counter and asked her " can you please pass the mint sauce " she replied in urdu instead " take it yourself " I mean no customer service at all. Staff haven't learnt words like sorry, thanks and please...not going there again with my family.

They taking advantage of the running shop Dropping quality and increasing the prices . Can everyone see the size of the strips, they made a triple breading to make it big . Definitely making a complaint to Training Standards cc to slough borough council and health & safety . I made a complaint to the owner of the shop but didn’t bother . Staff having unacceptable behavior arguing . We are buying from this shop for last 10 years, in the beginning they had respect for the customers & food quality was excellent. But since the shop getting busy they reduce the quality and no respect for customer.

Couple of factors for my review. 1st of all they refuse to take card payments and push for cash even though there is a card machine under the till which operates when they fancy. 2nd of all and the most important factor is the lady at the till in the white shirt Pakistani origin and claims to be the manager on shift. Where do I start with her, she’s point blank rude, abrupt and very intimidating and comes across aggressive towards customers. Myself and a couple of work colleagues came to the restaurant for a meal and were told we can’t pay by card and only cash. When we challenged this by saying the owner of the place allowed us to pay by card literally a week ago, we were met with aggression, attitude and absolute rudeness from the female at the till. She kept shutting us down and telling us to go and cash out money from the cash machine and refused to make any eye contact with us apart from giving us the dirty evil eye. I’m absolutely disgusted with this behaviour and honestly it’s a scary experience I even challenged the behaviour and asked if she was ok as a welfare check and I was told yes I’m fine just tired to which I responded so am I yet I’m a paying customer and don’t expect this sort of behaviour from any business. I highly doubt the business owner will do anything however as a brand I strongly suggest that someone needs to take some sort of action.

One of our favourite places to get food. They can take a while to prepare the food, especially during busy periods, but we think it's worth the wait. We've also found the food is prepared better if we order in store, rather than ordering online or over the phone.

Rude staff, dont take card payments and pre cooked food. Went there and ordered than guy asked cash or card. Told him card and he said can you not see it says cash only. I replied i only have card and he said well thats not my problem, theres and atm few steps away. However got the cash and had food which was soggy and soo salty. Never going back.

I was always buying from here until one day I took a bite of the burger to find Plastic wrapping stuck in my teeth, it came from inside the burger. Didn’t think much of it but it happened 3 more times and they say no it’s not from us? Try and brush it off! Check your burger for plastic wrapping mixed in with your lettuce! I don’t go here no more!

Food price not the same as online huge difference in price online should have been changed years ago

The food is ok but I was really put off by the staff making raciest comments about customers. Especially the women with the head scarf at the till. Totally unprofessional give her some training

They start riping you off, always you order something and you will get something else. Specially from last 2 years they always have excuse that no card payments machine is not working. some staff are vwry rude and no customer service. I have been using peri peri for last 5 years now its pathatic day by day.

Best peri peri chicken in town. Very flavourful. Co-operative staff. Flexible in their menu.

Good food. Reasonable prices. Delicious sauces provided in restaurant and yummy grilled chicken.Not a posh restaurant though more like takeaway. But if you want to order grill items, they take 30-35 minutes for orders on weekends so keep that in mind.

Please note that the website prices are not the same as the current prices the price is about 16% more .. So please be carefull when you place an order as you will be OVER CHARGED. I asked the manager and was told that the website has not been updated for at least 10 years. I'm sure we should have a law againt this as its faults advertising. Further more, the staff are very rude and I would expect a better customer services. The Peri Peri franchise have much better standards and places like these give the company a bad rep.

Disgusting food, rude service, avoid

Had a quarter chicken meal at 2am and it still tasted great perfectly grilled and marinade was nice, nice thin fries so you don't get bloated like those horrible thick chips that some shops do. Free pitta bread with the meal and 2 free sauces with the meal.

Burgers and strips are really good, the fries are too skinny and oversalted. Need to offer peri fries or thick cut. The wait time is also quite long but thats probably due to how busy they are.

my kids enjoyed the amazing food, amazing prices and the best thing is that they clean the tables as customer leave.

Rude woman at till today 11 Dec 2023 Very rude woman serving at till No management around so staff run at their peril This woman would not give me sauce with my food which I purchased I explained to her I didn't want to eat in but want to eat at home and she explained the cist is an additional 50p and NO she will not provide me with any . I explained again if I ate inshore I can have as much sauce as possible for free which are in the jugs provided but she being the so called manager thinks she knows best how to keep a customer happy . As I left I told her I wasn't going to use thus branch again and she replied in urdu go and don't come back This has made me extremely angry and disappointed with the lack of training involved with this invidual . I left my food with the shop as I was embarrassed that a but of sauce could cause this much confusion I would urge the store manager to spend more time with their staff how to serve a customer . They get 5 stars purely because I love their chicken tikka combo burger and they've kept the same quality as I remember them having several years ago. Please don't change the burger or your garlic sauce! I also like their fries and their grilled chicken is as good as Nando's. Things I don't like, but can survive/prepare for just to get my hands on their chicken tikka burger: - Don't accept card payments and the cash machine outside charges for withdrawals. - Often unbearably noisy, with groups of people eating in and socialising so loud my eardrums want to burst. - If eating in, you'll probably need to wipe the table yourself - the staff don't seem to get round to them during busy times.

The staff here really do their best to try and serve the food as quickly as possible and it always tastes delicious. It's easy for people to complain about wait times etc but I see how hard working the staff are at this branch and feel they don't get enough credit for the brilliant job they do.

Have had ordered their tikka combo "meal" and received only burger and drink with no fries, rang restaurant they said when I place order next time they will adjust into that orderas if I will be ordering next time from such a place, they are not willing to understand that what inconvenience they have caused at this hour of morning, they won't correct their mistake and will not acknowledge it as well. Really appalling service. I paid double of in house price to get it delivered via Uber eats. These people gouges their prices for deliveries please watch out.

I ordered from them through ubereats, food was okayish, they charged me £18 for two burger meals and only delivered burgers with fries, when I called them, their customer service advisor was awful and rude, he said it was packed in the the same bag with food and they can’t do anything about it. They were clearly lying because when ubereats driver came, he opened his bag infront of me, there was nothing else in the bag and there was no drinks in my bag at all. I asked them if I could speak to the manager and they said he only comes at 19:00, guy didn’t tell me his name either and he didn’t let me speak to someone senior, extremely pathetic service, will never order from them again.

The whole hype about this food joint went into drains with the worst ever customer service from the lady at the counter. I ordered for rice boxes and grilled chicken burger and the chips were stuffed in a closed paper box, uncooked and soggy. I requested the lady at the counter to remove the chips and add them in a separate cover and she immediately stuffs all the fries from the box to a paper cover with her bear hands. Absolutely unhygienic and terrible customer service, especially that one lady at the counter. She was rude with absolute no respect to her customers.

I was with my family in this restaurant today, the service was not nice and rude. Ominate that we ordered 2 burgers, half a chicken and nagets with fries for our son, which we never got. The food is nasty we have never eaten worse food like this. Do something about the service and the food because what you propose is only suitable for the trash because even a dog will not eat it.
