Very good service food is very tasty atmosphere is very friendly

Has gone downhill in every aspect. I have been frequenting this place for a long time now and the service, food and hygiene has gone down to the point where I will be finding somewhere else. Service is slow and staff have no customer service etiquette. Food is usually not ready and even if you call ahead won't be ready in time. Chicken quality has gone down and is now bland and tasteless with low quality sauces, old salad and microwaved buns. Hygiene levels are terrible. Never seen staff wash hands or wipe tables. All in all, I won't be visiting this place again as I will no doubt leave again disappointed in the service or quality or get unwell from poor hygiene.

Ordered 2 fillet burger meals, the food was very tasty but it took 2 minutes more then expected but it was worth it

Got a loaded kebab, I expected nacho sauce instead of melted cheese, still very tasty. Wish it had some salad too but for £6 it's great. I really like the bin in the shop too!

Worst experience from a takeaway and i wouldnt even give it 1 star. Ordered at 4pm, was told should be here by 4.30. Food came at 5.20, firstly wasn't hot, strips were hard and bland, chicken strip burgers were hard and bland with brown lettuce, chips were clearly not fresh or fried twice, pizza had bone fragments in it and drinks that were ordered weren't available so they sent whatever they felt like sending rather than telling us. When called to address the issues we were told sorry what do you want me to do about it I'll give you something next time you order. Disgraceful and appalling quality and service.

I’m guessing the shop is under new management?? I used to love coming here when I used to visit the area but the past few times the breaded chicken in the strip burger has been extremely muscly, weird texture and just dry and lacking taste. I had to put a lot of chilli sauce and other sauces to make it remotely edible. The only decent thing was the fries. I don’t recommend at all. Standards are below par.

This establishment came highly recommended from friends but I was highly disappointed after my experience. It was actually a few days ago that I visited with a friend to find that it was closed even after checking google and seeing that the open sign was on the door. I really should have taken that as a literal sign. When we went today, I was unpleasantly surprised by the tired interior: the tables were unclean and covered in batter crumbs and oil. It was disgusting. The uncleanliness and general unkempt and dirty state of the shop must have been due to the fact there was only two members of staff. This also meant that both mine and my friend’s order wasn’t taken for at least half an hour and twenty minutes respectively after standing at the counter with the obvious intent of ordering. My friend had ordered first and received her order after half an hour while I was stood waiting to be served. She also had to ask the staff member to take my order. When eventually he did take my order, I was told one item would take 25 minutes, yet another disappointment down to the fact they only had two staff working. I had to then take even more time to decide my alternative order, by which time I was so disappointed by the experience that I only decided to get small fries and a piece of chicken. In the time that they took to prepare two of the simplest items on the menu, my friend and I left the shop and went to purchase something from a totally different shop. And even then we had to wait a good 10 minutes on top after getting back. By this time my friend’s food was obviously cold. The food itself was also terrible. The chicken batter was a strange texture and stuck weirdly to the chicken. Parts of the chicken were raw and bloody veins were clearly visible. It didn’t taste good either - no seasoning on either the batter or the chicken. It didn’t take me long at all to put it in the bin. The chips were fine but it is very hard to mess up chips. Even the so called Pepsi Max that they gave me was quite obviously not Pepsi Max at all, it did not taste of it nor did it look like it. After such a disappointing experience, I told my friends that we will not be visiting again even though they had a different view. There are much nicer chicken shops nearer to us with much better quality food that I’m sure they’d be happier to go to.

The food is soo nice and well cooked . Especially the chicken burger how its so nice and the chips are well cooked and don't take a long time and also the drink how cold it is I would recommend people to come here because it is the best for me so far

Affordable prices, and tasty food. The chicken was juicy, tender and flavourful. Whole chicken for £7 is a great deal!

Been there second time the chips were cold, chicken was overcooked and the nuggets were unedible due to how reformed they were.

Arrived just as they were cleaning down ready to close on Saturday evening, they kindly fired up the griddle again and provided us with some fabulous chicken. Great people, great food.

1. the lettuce in the burger was brown-ish basically near expiry :/ 2. burger bun seemed hard 3. the chicken wings had a fish taste and smell to it, im assuming they fry their fish and chicken all in the same oil :/

We ordered at Peri Mack regularly over the past year and it's been good service and the food was great, however over the last 3 months, we've noticed a downfall of both food and service. Firstly, we noticed after ordering 3 times since December 2021, that the food is no longer as fresh as it used to be (spicy wings were refried, tasted weird, and were very oily and BBQ wings were tiny and charred and dry, hence inedible), chips weren't cooked properly, and the portion they gave us was so small, when we ordered a large chips. Also they forgot to send at least one item each of the last 3 times we ordered and the first time we called, they said they would add it (spicy wings) to our tab for next time we order as we're regulars, which we agreed to. The second time, they told us the driver forgot to deliver it (nuggets) and sent him again. The third time they were very rude and curt with us and they cut off the phone too so we had to call again to tell them they didn't send our burgers (which they sent more than an hour later, cold and inedible, so no point of even sending it at this rate). We really did want to give them a chance hence why the past 3 times we ordered, we thought the next time, service and food would be better and that they were having an off day, but it wasn't the case at all. Sorry to say we won't be ordering there again, which is a shame, as we really liked them before.

Finally took time to write a review on this. Embarrassing a very local takeaway with such low quality and bad tasting food. Guys sort it out !!

I am not usually a fan of take outs, but Peri Mack is one above the rest. Excellent customer service, healthy portions and unbeatable prices.

2 hours of waiting and the chicken tastes very old and it is very dry

2 hour wait for food after being told it will arrive in 30 minutes. Every time we rang up we where told the driver is 10 minutes away. Was told the food was with the driver for an hour and a half yet no offer to refund or replace so the food went in the bin. Will never order again and wouldn’t advise anyone to eat from here. Food is terrible, customer service is worse. I could breed, pluck and cook a chicken quicker than it takes them to microwave it.

Is this place under new management? Chicken had been recooked from the day before and was dry, hard and burnt. Chips only half cooked, floor a mess and I noticed the guy repacking my food with his dirty fingers, had just been outside and came to help?! Someone soon is going to be very ill...

Initially I used to prefer this.but now Meat is not at all cooked and their reply for the complaints are so rude. Never gonna recommend

I ordered food for my daughter and her friends. The Burger bun was green with mould and two phone calls to the establishment ended with no apology or offer of a refund. I was basically told I was a liar by someone claiming to be the manager. A real shame because the food is generally pretty good, but I won't be using again

Hygiene is dreadful, made me pay for the food upfront then didn't even wash his hands before making my meal even thought he handled money and coins, guy serving me was very rude as well. Definitely wont be coming back.

Me and my family (5 people) ordered various items from the menu. The amount of food we got was huge compared to the price we paid and the chicken was delicious. We got the food hot which is good and portions were more than enough, we even had left overs the next day! The only downside was that some family members found the chicken and rice too spicy. The loaded fries are amazing but also very spicy. The drinks we got were iced cold which is very good. My chicken strips and chips were mouth watering however we didn't receive any sauces but since we were home it wasn't too much of an issue. Unable to provide pics cause we demolished the food

I wrote a review 5 months ago to say how good this place was and tried to review it again tonight 09/08/20 but for some reason the only way i could was to edit my last review so please listen. As far as peri peri chicken goes this place is better than nandos and pepe's especialy if you order chicken on the bone for example a half chicken and chips medium strength and lots of extra sauce trust me and after ringing the manager to give my thanks it was obvious that she had a love for good food and told me that her pizza's were just as good. I've been living in leicester for a year and a half trying to find a good take away and this place is easily the best.

I've used this place twice now and both times the food was outstanding the peril Perl chicken is better and cheaper than pepe's 100% I will be using this place at leas once a week
