Had cod and chips £8.50. Had to wait for the chips to be cooked.. Got it home and the chips were hard and not cooked properly.fish was small and very tough.. Never again... What a waste of my money... Avoid at all costs....

Great takeaway. We only tried the kebabs but they were fresh, plenty of salad and tasty.

Absolutely horrible rubber chips out of date ( probably) fish and steak pie had no steak inside and was burnt but cold never. Again

Mate all I have to say is very poor quality of food and the customer service is nonexistent and my order was wrong like super wrong and while eating I’m feeling sick and my belly hurt (asked for a simple salt and vinegar on my chip and they even forgot to do that )

I’ve ordered from here before and the food was excellent. Sadly this evening it took nearly 2 hours to get my food, and when it did turn up there were about 5 chips in my portion of chips. I requested a partial refund through the app which was declined by the restaurant. I won’t be ordering again.

Had a refund for my food as chicken was pink and had hard bits of bone or cartilage in. Never had a problem before but really didn't enjoy it this time. very disappointed.

Despite numerous calls and living 5 minutes down the road, the information given every time I called was mis informative, ‘waiting for a driver’, 30 mins later ‘just finishing wrapping your order’… ‘order will be there in 15 mins’ ‘driver on way’! Would have picked order up, instead of waiting 2 hours from ordering to it being delivered.

Nearly an hour late meaning it took over 2 hours from ordering to receive what turned out to be (not surprisingly) cold food. Doubtful I’ll be wasting my money on these anytime soon

I remember now why I don't order from this place. The food took 1 hour to arrive. when the food arrived it was cold and soggy. To top it off, it was missing the chips.... one of the main food items of a fish and chip shop. If I could give 0 stars I would.

The chips just tasted like pure grease , the chicken I can’t even explain the texture but I know it wasn’t normal , just very disappointed all in all as I had to leave all of it.

Food was late, drinks were not cold and the curry sauce was very watery and bland. Chicken, kebab and chips were fine though.

Ordered from Uber eats 30th July, usually food is really good, this time it was awful. Ordered large cod that looked like it had been left out all day, have since had food poisoning, so must have been off. We won’t be ordering from here again.

fish batter a little soggy and asked for battered chips but got normal, however the rest was very nice and arrived with a polite driver and it was hot.

ive used this chippy for several years and its been my favourite, was always hot & on time or early and good value. has it changed hands? this is the third order that has been late, and luke warm, the pies were dried out like they have been sat on hot plate for ages (one had blackened bits, so burnt). will be going somewhere else from now on.

Stopped off on the way home. Absolutely spotless inside very friendly easy to read and understand menu. Great choice of food perfect portion sizes for prices. I had mixed meat and chips all perfectly cooked best chips I've had in while very tasty kebab meats were also very tasty and not greasy. This place is definitely worth a visit the food and service is 5 STAR 🌟

I wish so much i could take pictures and post how bad the food that has arrived is because i feel words just will not cut it. The chips were so bad that they couldn't be eaten, cold, rock hard, dark brown twigs, (not golden) and considering it was a large fish and chips (with battered mushrooms) half of the chips were missing. The fish was a soggy mess and glued to the wrapping from the oil mountains of oil it was covered in. I cant stress how disappointed i am ! this is the four time we've ordered from the chip shop and bad food has arrived. We keep making excuse saying maybe it was because it was busy, maybe it was because it was the end of the day but know im running out of excuse and patience from disappointment. This WAS THE BEST CHIPPY ive ever ordered from now, i'll never order from it again because for the money your paying you just dont know what your going to be getting. disgusting!

Chicken too greasy and chips not as fresh as when I ordered before

Food is always lovely, unfortunately on this occasion it was cold on delivery and had to be warmed up.

The chicken ordered was still pink in the middle I had to put in the airfryer and cook for another 15 mins to get it to 75'.

The food was hot but the lettuce on the burger was brown ! We stopped ordering tomato on the burger because it was always rotten but now the lettuce you really need to sort this out !

I ordered twice by mistake and so called "Perfect Place" to cancel the 2nd order and explained what had happened. I spoke to man twice each time he reassured me only 1 order was going through so not to worry. After finishing meal which was good a 2nd order arrived. I called again and got no reply. Called off drivers phone & call then answered. Said 2nd order arrived and he still said only 1 order gone through on my name. Delivery driver was lovely. But I miffed charged twice. Won't use again!

Mixed review this one ordered mixed meat meat and chips for my partner and it was perfect meat and chips spot on. Come to mine which was just a medium chips and terrible went straight in the bin almost as if the two items had come from different shops very disappointed normally everything is top notch from here.

Nearly 3 hours to deliver. The shop was ket down by just eat drivers. Shame for them to get the negative feedback as it clearly wasn't their fault.

Both kebabs the meat was so hard and dry! Really wasn’t good The scallop was just batter no potato! And the cone of chip ok they was cheap but there was hardly any chips in the cone only thing that was ok was the picked egg
