Perfect Kitchen in Wakefield

Had to try this place a second time to see if the fantastic meal we had first wasn’t just a one off. I can confirm the second order was equally as mind blowing as the very first and so now this is our go to Chinese restaurant from now on.

This is a good restaurant, especially the crispy salt and pepper chicken, which tastes better than most Chinese dishes. However, it's important to note that opening your mouth wide and having fewer dishes would be great

£24 order..not only late but I have a plate of cold chicken an onions.. I ordered chicken an spring onion dish my partner has beef an spring onion..no other ingredients init an no taste ..

Excellent pancake rolls packed full hardly no grease spare ribs had extra fresh chilli free and so much meat for for little price and that extra chilli was no charge bless them

The mixed starter was dry - the ribs felt like they'd been cooked the previous day. Everything had a strange smell to it and the Czechuan Chicken looked and tasted like nothing I'd had before (and not in a good way). I only ordered from here as my usual was closed. I won't order again - threw more than half of it away. Horrible. Worryingly it arrived far too quickly suggesting that it wasn't freshly cooked.

really disappointed as i ordered salt & pepper chicken and it came covered in some chilli or cayenne powder and was very spicy, i mean its "salt" and "pepper", no mention of chilli or not marked as spicy, was the one thing i really craved... besides that the rest of the food was ok, but I wont be ordering anymore

Great food as usual but when ya order bbq ribs in sauce but get em dry a tad disappointing

beef chow mein is tasteless and has a strange smell not able to eat it. chips soggy, the pancake roll and curry sauce are fine. shame about the chow mein. won't order from here again

As I have read, no proper seasoning on the the salt & pepper chips just a sprinkle of salt & pepper dust! Not like when you get it in the munch box. It's only £1.75 for a tub of better stuff from home bargains. And yes I also have had misunderstandings from them on orders so my advice is Shake up and wake up! Your getting enough coin out of us all.

Very nice food. Didn’t realise they no longer give you chips with your meal, luckily I’d ordered rice. This made me think it was slightly overpriced until I tucked in. Very filling. One suggestion, maybe not use a full onion in your dishes.

The food was cold, tasteless! The batter on the sweet and sour chicken was slimy and stodgy. The curry was so bland it didn’t even taste like curry. There was no flavour or egg in the egg fried rice. Shocking. Hard to order with language barrier, wrong food turned up. Salt and pepper chips had no peppers, no veg, just some powder sprinkled on them which was over powering. Very mediocre chicken and ok sauce at the best.

Food was awful. Some over cooked ans some under cooked. Sent the wrong item also which ended up being wasted along with most of the order. Won't be using this Chinese again and we've been going here for years but it seems to be getting worse every time we order.

Worst Chinese we’ve ever had, arrived after 15 minutes definitely not fresh or made to order,as we’re over 20 minutes away for delivery. Stodgy,tasteless and reheated.Both meals and prawn toast all in the bin. Will not be ordering again

The munchy box had everything in it LOADED with salt, so the ribs, soggy spring rolls, chicken balls, etc were all inedible. Big waste of money had to all be binned. Won't order again.

Perfect Kitchen is one of the best Chinese Takeaways in the area. First off, the menu is filled with a ton of choices. There's something for every craving imaginable. Whether you're in the mood for classic favorites or want to explore new flavors, Perfect Kitchen has you covered. Each dish i've tried off the menu has been great. The Duck dishes are my personal favourite, and the salt and pepper chicken is great too. The staff are quick and efficient in getting your order ready, but they're also friendly. Parking isn't the best and it's hit or miss if you'll have to walk a little bit to get to the takeaway, but it's not a major issue. Would recommend Perfect Kitchen over any other Chinese in the area, by far.

Usually use Yummy King for their share boxes. This was far superior far more chicken and ribs. The chicken balls were enormous. Box packed out with chicken not chips. Far better than them

A real mix of good and bad mostly ok my son had duck but the sauce was actually orange cordial please don’t try to pull the wool over we know our food just make a proper sauce and stop trying to fob the people of Featherstone off with rubbish it may be cheap but in the long run it costs customers we won’t be in a rush to comeback

Best Spare Ribs AND Salt and Pepper wings in the area!!! Hands down they do the best bbq and peking spare ribs as well As the most amazing salt and pepper chicken! This place never disappoints. The salt and pepper chicken : right amount of batter, perfect level of spice along with abs Uber flavour filled crunchy onions , chillies and peppers etc whatever is in the bottom of the dish! Does not go soggy . Retains its texture and taste even if you save it for next day! Ribs : rich! Very rich!! And covered in lots of sauces with chunkiest cuts of rib! Some places you go and there is barely any meat but these have a decent amount. Next on the order CHICKEN FRIED RICE AND CHICKEN CHOW MEIN! Noodles and rice cooked to perfection !! Does not lose its texture or taste and tastes fab next day!! Have been going here for 15 plus years and all This time the equality of the food is the best!! You want a good Chinese? This is the place ! My opinion but hey Ho.

Really gone down hill, last 3 times we’ve ordered they’ve either forgot something or it’s not tasted as nice as it usually does. Last night we got crispy wan tuns. No meat in them just the crispy pastry they were more like misshaped pancakes. Not worth £3.20 that’s for sure. The curry sauce and Cantonese sauce tasted weird too must of changed the recipe but it wasn’t nice. Won’t be ordering again we’ll find somewhere else. Shame you can’t add a picture to show what a laughing stock the wan tuns was tbf.

Got two portions of what was supposedly salt & pepper chips ate a handful and we binned the rest, had like a red powder on them no clue what it was! Supposed to have onions peppers etc never seen them like this before will save the money next time

Terrible food, 1 star is too much. No vegetables in the dish and the meat was like mush. This used to be my favourite chinese takeaway and I will never go there again.

Have used this Chinese for years and never had a bad meal. Food is always fresh and delicious, staff will go out of their way to help you, we once called in the shop just after closing time and they still did our order! Will always recommend perfect kitchen Chinese! My only critic is I wish they did the salt and pepper chips without the chip spice and instead used peppers onions garlic etc like other Chinese takeaways we have tried.

This takeaway has gone from the best to worst !! Never again will order from here . Asked for salt and pepper chips they came with salt and pepper on with a bit of chilli powder thrown over them, totally uneatable safe to say got thrown in bin avoid this place lazy cooking at its finest !!!!

Great food at a great price, takes a while for delivery but is great for a local Chinese take away.

Specified 3 times wanted peppers on the salt and pepper chips with a meal. Waited 1 hour 5 minutes for delivery ( was told 45 minutes before placing the order) when food arrived, no peppers. Phoned up straight away and told them i would like the chips replacing for the ones i"d asked for. They said ok. Still not here 40 minues later (sons food now cold). Phoned to see where they were ,was told they werent sending any as 'its too busy. Mention it next time we order and theyll try and sort something". Food warmed up in the microwave is not nice.! Annoyed is an understatement!

Never had a Chinese like it curry was awful and the chicken was coated in something which looks like snot

Fantastic food prepared quickly. There's usually always at least one or two people ordering something inside which is a testament to the popularity of the establishment. A real staple of the Featherstone takeaway scene. The curry and the chow mein are, in particular, very good and you get a lot for your money. If I had one suggestion for improvement it would be to add more contemporary Chinese cuisine to the menu rather than just the classics but that isn't a criticism of the great food already served here.

Perfect Kitchen... FAR FROM IT! Ordered some chips they were hard as nails and onion rings... hardly any onion in just grease I felt repulsed! Years ago this place was THE BEST big homemade crispy onion rings and chips and gravy to die for.... really gone down hill If there were a 0 star option this would be it. Never tasted anything like it before :(
