Perch Pizza in Worthing

What a transformation, looks amazing. Service was the best out waiter shimon was extremely helpful. Food was tasty and cooked just right. Beautiful views. So all round a great experience.

Service was slow, pizzas were ok, these wouldn’t have really bothered me if the waitress wasn’t so rude. I could see the front of house were overworked as the restaurant was busy but the waitress was extremely rude and made me feel like an absolute idiot when I asked for anything, I wouldn’t go back and was quite embarrassed to be honest.

The food was great but we had to wait an hour and a half for it. Staff are helpful and friendly but just overworked. This was a weekday evening and the restaurant was by no means busy. I thought it was just a bad night but judging by other reviews here, it's obviously a big problem.

The restaurant was busy but thankfully we had reserved a table., that part at least worked well. From there the evening was very disappointing, clearly there was a severe shortage of staff both in the kitchen and in the dining area. There were only two on front of house duty and they simply had far too much to do. On line orders, pizza collections and trying to take orders, serve drinks and eventually deliver food to customers. They worked extremely hard but were overwhelmed. Our food took over an hour to arrive, by then we noticed other customers had given up and walked out. We were very hungry so when our pizzas eventually they tasted extra good but several were missing various toppings. In view of the extreme wait for food we decided against asking for the omissions to be corrected in case our food never returned. The senior management/ owners of Perch need to address staffing issues here as a matter of urgency, maybe augment the staff from those of other nearby Perch restaurants and then recruit, train and retain permanent staff at Worthing Perch Pizza. It’s sad to be writing a negative review but we cannot recommend eating here at present.

I ordered the falafel salad and it was very disapointing. Many ingredients were missing, there was no avocado, no fresh parsley, no beetroot, no housepickled onions and no tahini. The tabouleh was way to old, it smelled and tasted funny and the raisins and parsley were falling apart. It was just some salad leafs, cherry tomatoes, raw union and tabouleh that I could not eat. When I said something aboutit, I did get a piece of avocado but not fresh tabouleh or any of the other ingredients. The waitress was lovely and my friends pizza was good.

Great food, great service. We had the pollo and the angry pepperoni and both were really good - decent amount of topping and nice thin base. Gluten free options at a pizza place is a real bonus.

Had a great pizza at Perch, really tasty, lovely decor, busy, buzzy, delicious. Our waitress Elizabeth was an absolute star, really attentive, great job all round so thank you.

I purchased 3 pizzas from here as the site stated on the top corner of the page that it was 2 for 1 so we thought we would give it ago, upon arrival we were told this was only on Mondays which we accepted - although to say I was disappointed would be an understatement, it had to be the worst pizza I have ever had and to have spent £50 on them made it more unbelievable. The dough was undercooked to the point you could re-roll a pizza from the dough, with a thick smothering of pizza sauce. The pictures on the site look nothing like the pizzas i received, I had 4 different people try the pizzas to which all had the same opinion- "awful". I have had to get food from another restaurant for my family which has resulted in me now being down £80

Today we stumbled across this little Pizza place on Worthing seafront, we were greeted by the lovely and knowledgeable Mark ( our new friend) Pros- Lovely vibe, nice and clean, food was hot and served quickly and great attentive service. Good value Cons- Not enough choice, garlic bread was bland, not a lot of toppings and we had to keep asking for sauces, salt and pepper and a napkin as nothing was on the tables? No prices on a menu outside We would go again but there are nicer Pizza establishments out there. Thank you Mark for making our lunchtime enjoyable

Visited 30th November with family for a birthday celebration. It was our first visit to perch pizza and we found the staff very welcoming and friendly. They were attentive but not rushing anybody. The place is very child friendly and has a lovely casual atmosphere. Pizzas were excellent and the pricing was fine. Kids loved the ice cream and the cheesecake was excellent. We will definitely visit again. It was nice and cosy in there on a chilly evening and I think in the better weather it would be great eating outside. Overall we were all really happy with our evening there. Keep up the great work.

Hi. I’ve not long finished eating my Life on the Veg pizza. No pizza you can buy in the shops comes close to it. Facts 💯 If it was the size of my double duvet, I’d eat it all - I’m telling the truth! Thank you 😋😋😋😋😋😋

Good location, good pizza, disappointing disinterested service. Interior is clean but lacking in character and atmosphere. Outside seating has a great view of the seafront.

Quite simply the best pizza restaurant in town. Stunning views, awesome atmosphere and just loved the decor. The 'Angry Pepperoni' was just superb, will 100% be going back, a true hidden gem.... Well done Perch.

My boyfriend and I went to Perch Pizza as we are fans of the other Perch establishments. Firstly we both agreed that it’s a lovely location! The place is covered in windows which I imagine is great in the daytime, however at night we couldn’t really see out as the windows were all reflective of the lights inside. Very friendly and helpful waitresses. Service was very fast! Though it was extremely quiet for some reason in the restaurant even though it was 7:30pm on a Saturday night, we were very surprised by this! I ordered the spicy pepperoni + chilli/ honey pizza and my bf ordered the Pollo pizza. We both agreed mine was better flavour wise. Personally, I really did like mine, great quality toppings and great flavours. However, my bf felt his has too much cheese and not so much flavour. Though still nice enough. Something we both agreed on was this pizza was the type you needed to eat with a knife and fork, doing this on the paper the pizza is served on means you end up cutting the paper sometimes while trying to cut the pizza, which can be annoying, but honestly a minor inconvenience! Overall we felt the food was pretty good value considering the price, quality and location. We would definitely return!

This is a lovely seafront location with big windows where you can enjoy the views whatever the weather. The food was average. However, the chairs were the most uncomfortable chairs ever. We couldn’t wait to leave. Seating choice was hard wooden benches or incredibly hard small metal chairs. There was one padded bench but this is at the back away from the windows.

We were very lucky with the weather with bright sunshine on 1 October! Our friends who live locally knew about the place but had not tried it since it was only a couple of months old. What a great place for a Sunday lunch out. Mostly pizza’s but with a few salad options. Can highly recommend the Middle East Feast Bowl Nice and roomy, even outside the tables are well spaced out. A lovely atmosphere and really friendly staff

First time visit, and only called in for a coffee. Great venue, great value, great service. Pizza looked delicious. Recommended.

As the name suggests, the pizza is great but, what's more, the service we had yesterday was great and the location speaks for itself, yards from the beach, close to Splashpoint. We'll definitely go back!! My only (small) beef is one aimed at the whole sector, rather than specifically this restaurant and that is the price of a shot of Aperol with a drop of prosecco!
