Pulled in as it was heavy and a toilet stop was needed and not realising that there was a coffee place. Liked the coffee and found the lady serving to be friendly and chatty despite the awful weather - even gave us a Cornwall tourist pack with info etc about the county. We hadn't long eaten so didn't want food but they looked to have a fair range on the menu so I think most people would find something without too much problem. Nice to see such places thriving and they make a change from the usual roadside garage offerings - especially on a major road like the A30. Hope they are there for a long time.

Coming down to Cornwall, stopped off to see these guys for a coffee and butty to find they wasn’t here. Missing my lovely coffee :(

Funky decor of this roadside cafe tempted me to try a coffee. I suppose the hot milky fluid was coffee, but I found it essentially undrinkable. For another shot I was charged an additional £2 -- fair enough I guess, but ungracious. A raised eyebrow from me solicited a little rant from the lady owner about how she's paid £3.70 at Costa. But this wasn't really about her, was it? I'm sure I am to blame.

Tried the Peppered Pig when travelling from Launceston to Bodmin. Pleased I did so. The Bacon Butty was great. Lots of Bacon, very, very tasty. Hope it stays in business. Try it for yourself and enjoy the great food they serve

Stopped off on our way to Cornwall from Devon, didn't expect much from a roadside stop off. We had sandwiches with us so ate them and then decided to jam and cream scones and coffee from Pepper Pig Roadhouse. They were so scrummy, and the service was so friendly, had a laugh with the young man who served me who couldn't do enough for us, he even came over just before we set off with information about attractions and money off for coupons.

Motorhome wild campers we pulled in for a toilet stop. What a fab little cafe in an old shopping container. Healthy salads, veggie options along with brekkies Butty served in a fully compostable container. It’s a grassy area with trees so must create garden waste so highways agency (who own the site). It needs a compost bin 😊 Highly recommend

We’ve just left this roadside diner/cafe and it was so lovely I had to add a review. En route to Cornwall and looking for food and toilets. Both conveniently next door to each other with a fair few picnic tables to sit at. We are a party of 4 and all chose a different meal, but I must say all 4 were equally delicious. Fresh Greek salad wrap was very filling, wrap was soft and simply delish. Burgers are locally sourced and very tender, not a defrosted fatty burger at all. Also must add prices are reasonable, not overly priced at all. Thanks very much!

Stopped on the way home and thought this would be a normal roadside cafe, was I surprised! The food was so good and we loved the Halloumi natty wraps, the best. Will now make a point of stopping here for sure.

Needed a stopover on the way to Cornwall and came across this place. We planned on just having a coffee but as the coffee was so nice we decided to eat. We had two baps (egg and bacon and egg) and they were delish. I'm very fussy and this was prepared just how I like it and seasoned! So many places forget seasoning and it makes such a difference. Owner/staff were good humoured and helpful. Very impressed.

Dropped in for lunch on a Saturday, what a fantastic find!! Funky and quirky vegan cafe. Loved the layout and decor. Best chai latte ever. Absolutely gorgeous tofu tacos, and the squash salad was sooo tasty. It’s dog friendly too!! Young lady was on her own front of house, and the cafe was full, she was run off her feet, but she was brilliant - well done!! Now top of our list for lunching in Mousehole!

I have been here four times now, its become a thing whenever we come to Newquay, tattoo before I go home. The staff are incredibly friendly and always chatting away when you're there. They make you feel like part of the family. It's clean, tidy, always smells so good woth the cakes and coffee, I always feel like I'm home when I go in.

Very good B&B in a very central location. But it is very expensive so 'value for money' comes into question. Very good cooked breakfast served in the mornings but for the money it should provide freshly squeezed orange juice.

We found our way to Freathy Farmhouse Cafe by following a sign from Whitsand Bay. What a lovely find! Very rustic and charming cafe. We sat outside in the sun and enjoyed very generous sandwiches served with delicious salad. Some of us even managed cake! We will definitely return although I understand it is best to check opening times. Ps Loved the decor in the loo!
