First time ordering from Pepe’s amazing food very tasty, unfortunately the chips tasted stale and the chicken bags were open and all the liquid sauces leaked into the paper bag, fortunately it stayed in there, as the plastic bag was torn. Regardless of this we will be ordering food from here ..it’s way better and tastier than Nando’s

The food was on time but weirdly cold like it had been sat for a while

Woman who takes orders over the phone is absolutely useless always making you repeat yourself, then swaps to someone else making ordering take ages.

The food was mostly good. The french fries by contrast was a little cold and dry.

Rice needs to be improved, chips are Osm!!.

only take cash and their card machine has been “broke” for over a year now. got started on for asking to pay with card. must be some tax fraud going on here

We always visit Pepe's in Newcastle on West road if we fancy grilled chicken. Have tried many other places including Nandos but no one comes close. Wish they would fix their Aircon though as it was boiling hot when we went in. Had to ask them if we could open the front entrance to let some breeze in. Overall, it's the best place to go and service is really good too. Halal eatery.

Everything was very delicious but rice was overcooked so i recommended to everyone

Visited on the way to Scotland to grab lunch for the family. Staff are very friendly. They were quick. The packing was good. Food was tasty and fresh. Plenty of space to sit.

chicken was scraps at best 30 pound for 4 pieces of scrap chicken and two corn on the cob and two barely there chips 🍟 😑

The fries had too much peri peri salt. Ice cream tub had ice cream on the bottom of the tub. The quality of the food wasn’t good at all. The delivery service by the driver was excellent. Not happy my order.

The ‘chicken’ wings are rank, they used to be so good but they’ve definitely changed them. The spice and sauce is lovely but the actual meat is always pink and red and so off putting. Wouldn’t be surprised if its not actually chicken

Ordered £35 worth of food to which they forgot 1 strip meal,which has happened more than once. When I phoned them they called me a liar. I order 3 times a week with these !!!!! Never again!!!!! Customer service is absolutely appalling!!!!!!

The food was stone cold when it arrived therefore we had to reheat which isn't ideal. There were also no updates on when the food had left the restaurant therefore I had to ring to chase up.

Not anymore¡¡¡¡!!!! I had peri peri whole chicken from here. Not well cooked chicken. Blood still inside. I have this experience from here a couple of time recently. In my last order I mentioned that there was blood in chicken, so please cook properly this time but of no avail. Very disappointed. Other than that the size of chicken was very small. Not recommended.

Took a long time to come, and as I was about to call, the order was marked as delivered on the app, when it hasn't been. When I called to ask about it, they offered no apology, just said that it had left the shop so should be with us soon and that the reason it had been marked as delivered was that they had to stop orders coming in as they were too busy, so that meant marking everything as delivered? Needless to say,food was fairly cold when it arrived. I wanted to order from the Gosforth branch anyway, but it wasn't available on just eat.

Very disappointing food there was soo much sauce with whole chicken which was had broken and soaked up the whole of the bag. Will not be ordering from here again.

Love love pepe’s but if i order when its cold, ur food will be too comes in a brown paper bag inside a plastic bag so no way to keep the food warm be prepared to put in the oven x

Ordered a chicken burger which tasted disgusting, it was processed chicken which had no real chicken fillet. The wings were so small and I found a piece of hair on one of the wings. Overall a very bad experience and £15 gone to waste.

Went to eat at pepes west Rd last night for sitting in to eat, all the table was soo dirty and filthy. The food wasn’t fresh at all everybody in the house is sick after having the food. Had to pick up my son from school because he was sick because of the food we had last night. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone, the staff’s are busy talking rather than cleaning the tables. What a cheat they only take cash.

I telephoned to place an order 30 minutes before the store shut. They answered straight away and were polite. My order was spiced as I asked and tasted delicious. The team here are a friendly bunch. We ordered twice whilst on our way to and back from our holiday. If we are visiting or passing through Newcastle again we will return.

Often late and the supposed vegetarian food often has shreds of chicken in it 🤦🏻‍♀️ still keep coming back though 🤣

I called twice to ask where my order was and both times they told me its a few minutes away - it was not. Food was freezing cold and was delivered after 1 hour 30 minutes. Awful experience and will not order again

The pepe chilli mayo is hot 🔥 just how it should be the food is banging also took had a rice box with chicken day earlier that also is packed well and very nice recommend getting 2 sauces one of each you won't regret it garlic mayo just as nice has the chilli and to cool the hot chilli sauce down 😋

Order was for chicken salad, nachos and a rice and veg box meal, what we recived would have been better described as a chicken and lettice soup the frise were a stale and there was no veg in the rice and veg box.

Chick n rice - smelling chicken , rice is all sticky and clumped up Would have to travel a bit more, but I would go to Pepes at Whitley bay
