The worst customer service I have ever seen in Pepe's, A young skinny boy on the till is very rude and unprofessional with zero manners. After I placed the order he made me wait for 20 minutes when the whole store was empty then a lady came from the kitchen to ask me why I am waiting from long time then I showed my order receipt (order number was 54) on which she told the boy that order my order was sitting there from 15 minutes but the skinny boy didn't even bothered and completely ignored her.

The food was amazing and I had the new pepe’s chimichurri mayo which was amazing and delicious. I would have recommended to have it.

We loved the grilled chicken and the wonderful sauce which was served with it. Lovely staff provided excellent service.

I paid for 4 garlic mayo’s and only received 2. Put a complaint through to just eat who weren’t helpful. I don’t care about the money, I care about the ruined experience. Really annoying

Food good but took rider awhile to come the time was going up u til he finally arrived.

I ordered food at 22:52 , the collection time was 23:05. I got there at 23:15 order is not ready . There were other orders which were done before my order even though it said 23:06 on one order. They think they can lace my food with something and get away with it. I'm going to Birmingham Health and FSA. They wanted to know who's food it was because I order through PayPal and the receipt doesn't have the last 4 digits of Debit Card, so they were buying time to find out who's coming to collect.

Chicken very nice and succulent, bags of flavour. Ordered alot of stuff including rice, chicken, chicken xl and burrito. All recommended 100% of the time.

If your looking for a place that delivers home and gives you utter rubbish then this is the place food was burnt to another level and potato wedges that were burnt so badly that inside were just dry cardboard waste of money but if you like wasting your money then this the place. Order was placed under the name of muneeb close the shop because your food standards are rubbish peppes

Avoid this place at all cost!! Half my order missing and a burger u wouldn’t even feed a dog.

we ordered £26 worth of food all of it was cold. we had to warm it up in the microwave. The wrap was stuck to the packaging so fell apart when opened.

It is a very busy place but worth the wait so be prepared to wait in a queue to order and then be patient for your food to arrive. The food was freshly cooked and very appetising. We were a group of 5 and everything we ordered turned out to be good. No complaints at all, not even from one of my friends who likes to be very detailed about every aspect of his meals.

Food was cold and pathetic. I should have went to alum rock branch or elsewhere.

The delivery driver (not his fault) was given the wrong order. Due to his little English, it was challenging to communicate that I was given the wrong order. He kept saying to take the Kiddies Meal. I refused this as it wasn’t my order. Called the Coventry Road shop, the women was useless. Never EVER ordering here again.

My order was scheduled to be here for 10:05 when i initially placed the order. I placed my order at 9.28 and received it an 11:04. This is totally unacceptable. When i called the restaurant they asked for my order number and then hung up? They didn’t even started making my order yet…… after i called the tracking moved to preparing food.

Food is spilled out of rice box dissapointed.

I ordered a quarter chicken which was the size of a drumstick. Awful. Literally ut a pinch of salad on the plate and charge over 5 pounds.

First of all the food was expensive and it was cold and the piri piri wrap was dreadful and the chicken burger was very small and the food had no taste and the food was not worth the money I don't recommend coming here.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at pepes coventry road. It was thoroughly impressed!! The ambiance was cozy and inviting, with a warm and friendly staff. The food was exceptional. I ordered chicken loaded fries. The prices were reasonable and the portion sizes were generous. I would highly recommend pepes to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

Avoid this franchise at all costs.ordered takeaway 2 whole chicken one lemon&herb and mango&lime.girl kinza advised 5-7 minutes waiting time.order placed 1520 hrs.order #A-11.After 30 minutes' wait the other girl said its going to take 15 more minutes and she would compensate with free sauces which i declined.order was served 1612 hrs almost 1 hr wait.all this time i had to leave my car parked at unsafe road.chicken were charred.wings were burnt almost completely.there were no traces of flavours i ordered whatsoever.it tasted like flavourless charred chicken.orders after me were being served in front of me while i was still waiting.A-9 was served before me and then i saw A-13 being served in front of my eyes.If the owner ever bothers to read reviews they should take immediate action to save their business and investment.hold poorly serviing chef and staff to account otherwise you will keep losing customers as you just lost me.

Food Served by the Asian Girl named KINZA I bought the two Chicken Tasca Meals for me and my wife. Order done over the phone call and she said come after 15 minutes but as I was around Coventry road and requested her to get my food ready asap if that’s possible. I think hardly took 7-8 minutes to get me on PEPEs Shop. Can you believe my food was right there on the till. She was so professional Many Many Thanks to her and the Kitchen staff. I bought food back home and can you believe food was still hot and taste doesn’t change at all. Highly recommended to those who’s looking for Quality chicken and other Halal Stuff

It was a good experience visiting pepe’s coventry road..food was really nice..served on time by kinza..it was my second time I visited pepe’s coventry road..staff is well trained and she is very polite..just need to pay some attention on your toilet..

Food was delicious. But the wait and delivery took a bit longer than expected, so the fries were cold. Also asked for a Ben & Jerrys ice cream but got a cake instead.. was still good and I don’t mind… all in all 4/5 stars for me and would still order from here again 👍

Served by kinza - ordered over the phone, went in to collect and while serving us midway she stopped and ignored us to serve 3 other customers even though our food was ready. Really rude and unprofessional. Ordered and paid for large meal got regular fries and a can instead of large fries and a large drink had to go back to get this corrected

I usually love a Pepes but my son got severe diarrhoea and vomiting after eating here Monday afternoon. Service and atmosphere was good but the rice box is all he had to eat that day and the poor boy was on the loo all night!

Ordered the whole chicken combo meal, The food came and it was luke warm, chips were not fresh n was soggy, the chicken was hard and dry although I did mention to make it extra soggy. The chicken skin how ever was really burnt. So after nearly finishing our meal I notice a bit of blood on my son’s plate, I couldn’t take a picture as I took it to the till to show them the guy from the back came and tried explaining to me how it’s fully cooked. It was a bit embarrassing I couldn’t be bothered to argue with him. He did offer to give me some wings I refused. The people serving today looked like they have no interest in serving today they looked rather unhappy imo. We also sat in to eat and were not comfortable as it was really cold inside, my son was complaining that he was cold. Really disappointed in todays food and service don’t think il be visiting this branch again. Below is a eaten peice of chicken with redness on the bone

Food was burnt, dry, and cold. Didn't receive either sauces. Nothing provided to eat rice box, and only received one can of drink. Won’t order from this store again. Will be looking at some sort of refund. Also driver didn’t turn up at location and I had to walk a few mins away to find him

PRetty busy for late night service, but it was Ramadan so the whole area is pretty busy late in the evening it seems. Perhaps that explains that getting your meal ready a bit longer than other Pepe's in different locations.

Standard peri peri place, just pricier than other better peri peri places but food is still nice

Absolutely right place for peri peri chicken lovers. Rice box and burgers are also very yummy to eat.

On the site its written that they close at 1.00 am but i went around 12.50 am but they refused to serve me that they are closed but when i told them that on site its 1 they said that it takes us some time to clean up as well thats why we are not serving and other than that whenever you order food and order extra dips they forget everytime

Omg how stupid are the staff… got the order wrong twice… and when I tried to tell them, tried fobbing me off… Pepes need to up their standards… gourmet?!? Not at all - and fix up the stupid staff ffs

Always get my food from this pepes coventry road, the food is always Ma Sha Allah delicious 😋 and cooked properly.

Im from coventry and i was not sure on what i should get and i was suggested to get the chicken and rice by the staff named muniba and it was delicous and cheap i would come again .

Came across this pepes branch when visiting family and it has to be the best pepes ive ever had. Customer service was professional and the food was delicious. highly recommend adding this place to your list when youre hungry

Pepe's chick n' rice is a classic. The chicken is juicy and flavorful (specially with the sauce they give you with this), and the rice is perfectly cooked and seasoned. I highly recommend it!

I have been coming for quite some time as this is my local. The food has always been great. I have always received exceptional service from Naveed and Sohaib at the front. At the back Usman has been great with the work rate. Never have I got my food late

Ordered my usual chick'n'Rice, the chicken was fresh and succulent and my request for a combination of flavours was followed precisely, Faaiza and Sohaib are always attentive and friendly whenever I visit.

Chicken box is v good and Faisal is a good staff

Bigger portions to be served compared to the prices paid

First time eating at this branch. Things started off with my order being taken wrong but, to their credit, resolved it on the spot. I would have liked a proper apology followed by making up for it with excellent customer service and perfect food. My burger was barely warmed up properly. The staff looked like they would rather be elsewhere or didn't want to be working on a bank holiday. Disappointed because these things spoiled the experience.

Recently tried Pepe's Piri Piri at their Coventry Road location and was blown away by the flavor of their spicy sauce. The perfect blend of chili peppers, garlic, lemon juice, and vinegar made for an amazing marinade on the grilled chicken. Can't wait to go back and try more of their dishes!

Ordered chicken and rice was good but the customer service is a let down. Guy who took my order was nice but the other older Asian lady at the front has zero customer service skills. Just rude no manners and was rude to the other customers she served, I noticed that too.

Wowi what a horrible experience, went inside to order my food he was so rude for no reason at all, ordered my food and paid, waited patiently for 25 mins, the guy who took my order asked me whilst i was sat down “bruv have you ordered” ? I said tou took my order and ive been waiting 25mins, he then went to the back cone back with the manger and said that the kitchen is closed and we cant make your order, so ill give you a refund. I went so why take my order in the first place, he said we lost your ticket and now kitchen is closed, i took my money but the guy just walked off no reply, wont be visiting again.

I waited an hour or so for my food and neither food nor refund. And they even spoke arrogant to me on the phone

Alrededor de 2 horas después llegó y fue horrible. . frío como la piedra y con un sabor horrible (incluso mi hijo adolescente estuvo de acuerdo en que no valía la pena el 9 y podría haberlo cocinado mejor yo mismo) me ha quitado las papas

Ordered online the fries were cold and old also the xl burger meal I ordered which was was supposed to be extra hot wasn’t hot at all. Bad food, quite disappointed. Kids weren’t happy at all. Wouldn’t recommend ordering online unless going into the shop.

After hearing a lot of good reviews of pepes I thought id go and see what the fuss was about so went star city as nandos ran out of chicken! I wish I went home instead and saved myself 50£ it taste horrible I waited 1 and hour hours for my food thought they was slaughtering the chickens themselves at one point Not only that as I walked in the staff told me to takeaway the food as they have no tables when on my right hand side their was 8 tables empty Food was nasty got order wrong If u want below average customer service and a long haul of food with below average food and sauce please feel free to go if u don't want that then stay away and spend money else where

Went to collect a large order for take away, chicken was not nice. No Spice and favours although we asked for hot/extra hot and spicy chicken rice was not nice.

Wings were fantastic. The sauce was great. Juicy and flavoursome. The consistency of the order can vary sometimes. They can put too little sauce sometimes. Overall food is great. Service and general employee attitude can be improved though.

I’m vegetarian and I’ve order pepes salad with grilled paneer. They bring me with chicken !! When I told them about mistake they took my salad for exchange and they bring same salad just take out chicken and put paneer ! It was exactly same salad ! Not even label what sos I want nothing so just take pics of chicken and put paneer instead make fresh !

Ordered a full chicken with 2 fries for a family of 4 (2 infant children + mum + dad). Cost £14.49 without drinks. Drinks were very expensive so we just went with water. In terms of service I'm happy, we got a nice section and the table was clean. Our order was served within a few mins, definitely not more than 10 mins. Lots of choices in terms of sauces, but I couldn't see any ketchup which would have been good for the little ones as they like fries with ketchup. The food tasted good, I was impressed with the chicken in particular they were not small pieces and they tasted very rich and exactly with the right amount of spice. Toilets were in shop and a place to wash your hands. I can't give 5 stars because of the price of drinks, but other than that I'm happy I went to Pepe's rather than Nando's.

It was very poor service I told the guy it was not hot enough he is laughing with me his attitude was not right and food taste was not like before I been the place before it was very nice I think they change kitchen stuff specially the old guy his behaviour was rude I don't think I will visit again this brunch

This is the 2nd time this particular Resturant servered sub standard food. I bought Tascan, chicken breast has been sliced thinly to make extra profit, it was hard and chewy, no salad or cheese was added. The picture shows one thing and what you get is an other. I was told it is not their fault as there is one supplier for all of their Resturant's. As a customer we don't want extra food just give us what we pay for. What you take out from order or fail to add in, to make extra profit is classed as steeling. I WILL NOT USE PEPES AGAIN. NOT THIS RESTURANT.

Excellent delivery service, brilliant food, the burgers were well cooked. The chicken is well made..thoroughly recommend lemon and herb topping on the chicken.
