Chicken wrap was great, very tender and tasty but the boba wasn’t very good - would give that a pass

Their cheese foam had been my favourite until a HUGE Disappointment I had in last year. I ordered a cheese foam tea with oreo topping but the young lady staff there put all oreo in the bottom of the drink. I asked her "where is the oreo" and she said with no guilty " they are in the bottom". I was so dissapointed, then what's the point of a TOPPING? shouldn't it be on the top? I've never been there afterward. Honestly the male staff there (I believe the manager) work hard and I like all the drink he made for me before, but unfortunately not every staff has the same attitude. I hope they take it seriously and remind their staffs to behave properly to the drink. Again, I'm not asking anything beyond the standard, I just want a drink with proper topping when I literally ordered TOPPING.

One of the only places in Brum to get Jianbing. Amazing Taiwanese fried chicken too! And the boba always hits.

I have more than 5 years in UK and i think MR EGG its have the best chicken in England !! Crispy strips is delicious!

The chicken strips are so crispy and you get a big portion. The mango mudlfip is incredible. I will be back!

The best fried chicken in Birmingham?! I’ve tried a lot of chicken places in Birmingham and this has to be in the top 5. Super crispy, big portion for a very affordable price. We ended up ordering it 4x in two weeks we became obsessed! Boba is standard, better places and worse places but lots of unique flavours and options to choose from. Be aware the tapioca is a lot smaller than most. Every boba place in the area has their specialities and here it has to be the mudflip series!! A must visit in birminghams china town!

i popped round for a quick “ lunch “ at mr egg and ordered a matcha brown sugar boba & fried chicken. for starters, the boba drink was spot on and could taste a nice matcha and brown sugar, however the boba itself, it was the small kind, i’ve not got anything wrong with it but it would be nice if there would be a lil headsup however that’s just me:) 🫶🏻 the fried chicken was very crispy and delicious though and no complaints on that:3 overall lovely place and rlly nothing else to say !! great little shop in china town :>

Bubble tea was really bad here, tasted bad and expensive for what it was

I decided to go to Mr Egg as the boba place next door was very busy and I was in a rush. I ordered a brown sugar milk tea boba and unfortunately I couldn't drink it because it wasn't nice at all. I think it was mainly because the tapioca pearls were very powdery and hard.

The durian crepe cake slice tasted better than I expected, also the inside of the cafe looks smol & cute :3

Brown sugar matcha tea was delicious

My partner recommended here as he'd been to the Manchester branch, the service was quick and the food was so hot and tasty, that we ended up coming back several times while in Birmingham, as it was so good.

Yeah it's just a cafe, but has become legendary! And when I used to visit Brum lots, clubbing, i'd always take my country mates there, whom i'd bring to Brum. We lived in villages of 100s, to visit Brum of 2 million! And not a sheep in sight... except in the kebabs! HAHA!! Long my the legend continue! Cheers

Unwelcoming service, rude and borderline hostile. Chicken burger was practically raw and tasted terrible, avoid.

It’s always a treat to visit here when I am in Birmingham. I can’t get past crème brûlée drink and black rice wrap, which has wonderful textures and flavours. I need to explore other options, like the fried chicken sometime. I’m sure all the options are good, as it’s a popular place and everything looks delicious.

I love Mr Egg. Who doesn't? I lived in Hong Kong for 6 years & travelled around Asia a fair bit. Mr Egg's food reminds me of Taiwanese night markets with its crispy fried chicken well-flavoured & reasonably priced. The portions are always generous, too. The Bubble tea menu is extensive & there are customisation options, too. My go-to is the honey lemon grapefruit tea with bubbles. The popcorn chicken bites are great, the sweet potato fries are gorgeous, and the chicken chop is absolutely huge. One of my fave bubble tea shops in Brum.

This is quickly becoming my favourite bubble tea place! The tapioca balls are soft and tiny, so with each sip you get a looot. It's a whole different experience, try it!

I love the chicken and sweet potato chips here. The chicken has the right amount of spice, juicy in the inside and crispy on the outside. The sweet potato chips is also a bit crispy and one of the yummiest I tasted. The newly made up store was nice and bright. I will definitely be back soon! Prices are quite reasonable.

At this location, I tried the mango bubble tea, and what I enjoyed about it was the substantial chunks of actual, fresh mango.That pleased me because real mango was not substituted for the mango flavour.

Excellent Taiwanese Fried Chicken. Mega chicken steak, wings and popcorn chicken are all excellent. I also love the mexican chicken wrap and the spicy chicken burger. It is a little pricy but good for a treat. Be sure to add your seasonings! I hear the bubble tea is good but not a fan of that myself.

Popped in to relax and have a cake. Matcha cake had lots of matcha and wasn’t very sweet which I loved. The drink was lovely and had real chunks of fruit and tapioca pearls. The staff was very friendly.

I have visited Egg with a friend who speaks Mandarin many times and have always had a positive experience then, however I see a distinct difference when I visit alone - then I receive a much colder welcome and the cashier is rather irritable, rude even.

Chicken portions were huge and seasoned well. The taro purple yam bubble t is the best! Yum! You need to know some Chinese to talk to the staff

wasnt a massive fan of the coconut milk with purple potato boba ... sounded nice but tasted really bad... HOWEVER i highlyyyy recommend the brown sugar match milk tea oooof! best matcha bubble tea there is. i love how the tapioca balls are smaller than usual too, super soft and soo delicious. ive ordered it about 3 times in the past 2 weeks :D

Been a few times here enjoyable food I do find the drinks a little to wired for my liking buy the food menu is really good I just wish they stayed open later because right now I could do with one of your wraps!!

Interesting place. Small quantities, but interesting flavor. The mega chicken is nice dish. They offer tea drinks, desserts and chicken dishes. Most of the menu is in foreign language, it takes time to decide what to get 😅.

I had some Taiwanese popcorn chicken, fries, milk tea and green tea cake. It’s really lovely, you can choose the seasoning too . I love the cake, not too sweet and sugary. They get a variety of snacks. I would definitely visit again and highly recommend it 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Love the popcorn chicken here!!! My go to is the fresh taro with pudding. Make sure you specify your ice/sugar levels as they don’t really ask you. Good no contact ordering and collection- you’re usually out the store within 5 minutes. I have tried a few drinks which are all really good, worth mentioning the purple yam drink and fresh taro milk!! Only around £4.50 for a large sized drink including toppings which I think is cheaper than average. :)

I visited here once and had the mung bean street wrap and have been so many times since!! It’s my university comfort food! The sweet potato fries are also amazing! I’ve introduced loads of people to it and they all agree! A great meal, something you wouldn’t find anywhere else, it’s a true gem of birmingham!

Innovative and fun range of bubble tea! We had their Mudflip Mango which taste like mango sago and their Fresh Avocado Milk with Brown Sugar Tapioca Bubbles. They also serve food - their Japanese cheesecake and matcha crepe cakes are really good. But nothing beats their street food! The black rice pancake wrap is incredible! I could eat there everyday. 🥺

I got in there mistaking it for the Happy Lemon next door. The staff were very sweet and my bubble tea tasted delicious, not too sweet, pearls are newly cooked, chewy and tea ice cold like how I like it. Only 5 minutes from Birmingham new street, will definitely return.

Disappointed with the passion fruit and yakult shake. The server was unpleasant, probably tired or something. But the shake was literally a bit of passion fruit and some yakult. She didn't ask me if I wanted any ice, and after she put in ice I had to tell her that I didn't want ice, and she looked unhappy when I said that. I don't think it was worth the money. However, the cheese cake and durian cake was nice.

What is Mister Egg without eggs? A crappy kebab and fried chicken joint, that's what. I want my money back.

The fresh milk brown sugar bubble tea is 10/10 and so is the taro sweet potato one. Chicken popcorn is delicious too.

I had the chicken wrap and it was delicious, more filling than it looks and a decent price. The creme brûlée bubble tea was delicious although very sweet (probably should have expected that), appreciate the crispy caramel.

Food is okay, no card payments - cash only, no receipt. Tried to use my remaining change in here before but wouldn’t accept it because ‘customers don’t like change’ or something like that. Unhygienic practices: the woman who makes my food is always eating when I go in, she never washes her hands either and makes my food straight after. The staff in here are miserable, I’ve always tried to smile at them but get nothing in return. Really takes the biscuit when they are rude as well. No matter how good your food is, if your staff are miserable, it’s just going to affect everything else. Change your staff.

The outside has had a revamp since I was last here, but the inside still sells tasty cheap hot food. The wrap I had was lush and really needed after a day wandering round Brum.

Absolutely awful. How on earth is it still open?! It's always been shocking and it still is to this day. Terrible food - usually feel ill after eating. Disgusting place - dirty and messy. Rude staff and management. Honestly, the place needs investigating. Shocking.

A pesar de no tener una reserva y el Sr. huevo es conocido por ser reservado con meses de antelación yo susurraba al mozo y enseñamos el anillo y una mesa fue encontrado cerca de la ventana. Tuve el ceviche de salmón rosado elegante con vainilla, crema y eneldo fraiche, mi esposa (esposa dijo sí sí, por supuesto) tenía el filete de ternera de pasto, alimentado y champiñones puré pomme anna. Nos aplaudieron cuando me declaré y me lloroso agradecidos a este restaurante incluido. Ojalá hubiera más lugares era tan increíble como el señor huevo,
