Big John's Acocks Green in Birmingham

this place as gone down hill very fast i always used to come to this place 2 times a week, now the food quality you get bone fragments in the beef burgers, the chicken meat now you get hard bits of chicken, i wont be coming back to any big johns now its put me off for life

Food was cold, ordered a wrap with mayo and salad and it came with none of that won’t be ordering from here again , very annoying when a restaurant can’t get a simple order right.

SFC Panini was very bad. Very salty and the chicken was very over cooked or maybe old. Overall all other foods were perfect and on a normal base the food is always excellent.

I want my milkshake refunded because it came melted and half of it was a rip-off. I demand a refund. The person who brought me the delivery was not friendly. What a terrible service.

Not a bad chippy but can I ask why there is a man stood in your kitchen area holding his phone, touching his face and his eyebrows up, with an ear piece in, in his personal clothes, leaving all over a table? This is highly inappropriate/straight nasty for food service I hope the EHO gets you. Was gonna give more stars but, eww.

Awful service! Food arrived but my daughters popcorn chicken was missing! called the number on top of the receipt someone sounding half asleep answered and said they will contact the restaurant and get them sent out. It took over an hour for them to arrive and STILL only got 17 popcorn chicken pieces instead of 20. called back the number to complain and was told on our next order he will give us 3 more popcorn chicken pieces?? He was then extremely rude and even hung up on me! Avoid!!!!

Pizza was like eating a effing rock. Hardened cheese and toppings on top, Donner potion was so small more chips than the meat itself and for £7 what a joke. Never ordering from here again now. I’m done..

Asking me to bring the food back when it’s been eaten and given us food poisoning and saying they don’t believe us and their food is of top quality and could never give food poisoning. What on earth is this, I’ve never been to big johns, this is the first time. Bad customer service, quite rude actually and the food was diabolical.

My large kebab was all wrong and you forgot a couple of iteams but the rest was nice

I'm talking about fish menus, which are very tasty. But I know from friends that other meat dishes are also delicious.They work quickly responding to the number of orders to fulfill.I highly recommend.

I will never eat from here again the food was disgusting and the worst food they could ever make I ordered fish and chips and it’s like the chips were cooked in left over oil and the fish was horrible the bottom off the batter was hard and their over rated when I think the hygiene should be a 2 out off 2 as it caused me too have a upset stomach and I would highly recommend too stay away from this place they aren’t trained enough in food and all they are interested in is money and they don’t care about the public heath and it also give me food poisoning and i could tell the fish wasn’t cooked properly bye looking at the inside off it and the curry sauce was all runney and the chips looked like they have been cooked in left over oil

Vile food Their "cod fish" looks like they've used tuna inside of a whole load of hard batter. It tasted like they had placed a old cooked fish into oil to refresh it when i ordered it. Yet they charge £11 for it it! Their masala fish in naan is so salty I had to drink a gallon of water after it. I'm worried I'm going to have food poisoning after consuming that. Never again, stay well away from this Big Johns. Go to the shirley branch instead!

Only popped in for a bag of chips, no flavour they were the worst chips I'd ever had threw most of them away, ten minutes after eating had the shats. then about an hour later had the shats again, try changing the oil and cleaning the equipment. wouldn't go there again.

Poor quality chips given runied rest of meal!

Food quantity is not consistent. We mostly buy kebab in naan and every time you find a surprise. Not made to your request, missing mayo or sauce. Being such a pricey quantity of kebab is not justified. I hate this as they put the price up and reduce the size?

I visited the branch in Acocks green on the way home. It’s the biggest mistake I ever made and will never go there again. They missed items from my order, tried calling few times they just let the phone ring out. Couldn’t be bothered travelling 3 miles back. AVOID!!

The food is awfull! I ordered chicken and chips and food is SOAKING IN OIL! DRIPPING! Literally my chicken was in oil soup!!!!!!!!! Clearly they do not drain anything they chuck their chicken in the box and serve it like tht! Everything was Leaking outside the bag ! Disgusting! When I contacted the shop they just gaslight me and say it’s normal! In the picture that’s oil leaking not water and it’s not just damp! Absolutely vile! And they refuse to acknowledge or do anything about it 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

Dreadful customer service. The telephone staff particularly the gentleman named Arshad, is probably one of the most rudest humans I have ever dealt with. And then tried to threaten me with being racist. When I’m British Pakistani myself albeit I don’t have an accent! I told the managers that I had received a piece of boneless breast with metal inside it. ACTUAL METAL. Of course they denied this and told me I was making things up. Arshad even told me that if I posted this on social media I was blackmailing them and that I shouldn’t post the pictures and they would deny it. Well Arshad, below I have attached the pictures! And I certainly will be posting them on social media in due course. Arshad was supposed to have given me an email to send the pictures in for internal investigations but his ego got in-front of his mouth and he decided to disconnect the call after I asked him why he was so rude. Needless to say they banned my just eat account shortly after. May I add I was a long standing customer before this, usually at the Lawley Middleway. But Acocks green! Disgusting! Place needs closing down. Food standards have dropped! Big johns? More like Big CONs!

discussing over cooked fish ordered a cake and its was literally 2 bites never order from these guys again

been using just eats for years. been ordering from this big John's for years too. today is the last time. my order was changed from delivery to collection?? why would I pay thru just eats over inflated prices to collect my order. its cheaper to go in and order face to face. big John's phone number is an answering machine which cuts you off after a few minutes. they got the order wrong too, instead of sending chips they sent chicken wings. just eats customer service DOES NOT EXIST.

Nasty couldn’t believe they sent me pizza with the dough uncooked , & the chips were stale , nobody would even look at it never mind eat it , never ordering from here again.

Sent only a pirtion of the order, blaming the driver, driver blaming the store, who knows, BUT how unprofessional can a shop be that it could not have avoided this error by putting all the food in the same bag with staples on the bag as proof of tampering with the order

I ordered a 1.5 litre bottle of lemonade but the driver delivered a 1.5 litre of dandelion and burdock. The driver should have checked the order before he left to make sure the order was correct.

I love pizzas, but this was the worst I've ever had. 1st the cost. I was charged £25 for 1 12" pizza and fish and chips. With all the offers on other pizza places you can get much more for your money. I paid £22.50 for 2 extra large pizzas from another place last week. I could've spent less at a pub too. 2nd quality. After paying, I went to the pizza section to say what toppings I wanted. As soon as I saw the toppings, I regretted my decision to eat there. The meat toppings were obviously so processed. Just small cubes of textureless bland colour. I couldn't even tell the difference between chicken and beef. The peperoni was nice, though, and pineapple was juicy. The pizza as a whole was bland and tasteless. The only thing I could taste was the peperoni. I tried the fish and chips, too. The chips were ok, and the fish was nice. Service was ok. There wasn't much in the way of interaction or friendliness, but no one was rude. The place did look clean, though. Overall, I'll not be ordering from there again. I've never thrown pizza away before. Any leftovers get frozen, but the last 2 slices got binned as my stomach was playing up all morning after eating it.

It was a disaster. I paid £30 for food and it was such a disappointment. They didn’t deliver any sauces with my meal. I ordered pizza and without any sauce. These people are stingy.. not only this. I paid £20 for 10 wings that costs £5 in general. I wouldn’t recommend!
