Popped in for a quick bite to eat. Fairly busy when we arrived. Still, staff served us with a smile which is nice. Food was pretty much cooked to order so not as fast as some fast food chains. Food was ok. Nothing to wow about it. Tasted nice, prices were ok.

Went here tonight Two girls on till and man staff on break Asked if they do chicken liver She said no That’s fine But as I was leaving the girls started giggling behind when turned back they stopped I guess if staff is tired send them home and save overheads Not available no worries but don’t make someone unwanted Thanks and hope the manager or owner looks at it Erdington branch High street

I ordered a rice box and it was disgusting 🤢 the whole thing smelled and tasted like sewage water🤢

Siempre vengo aquí cuando quiero comer pollo a la parrilla bueno, siempre comer pollo y arroz es lo mejor para mí y mi esposa, definitivamente recomiendo si te gusta el pollo y si quieres comer pollo bueno.

Well, this Pepe's is actually better than Nandos! Great spot for a healthy lunch ! Good prices, good portion sizes.

Been twice in the last 2 weeks. Both times food was really good. Staff are quick and orders taken and prepared promptly. Clean place. Both times went at busy times but still easily managed to get a place to sit down.

Arrived back to the hotel after 20:00 and just wanted to grab something quick to eat before settling in for the night. Found this place at random. What a gold mine! This is by far some of the best Peri Peri Chicken I have ever eaten. The chicken was grilled to perfection. The seasoning on the chicken was very nice and flavorful yet not overpowering. The sauce as light and delicious with just enough heat but not so much heat that it takes away from the favor of the chicken. The chicken breast was scored which allowed it to be cooked through without drying it out. The chicken is grilled to perfection not baked in the oven like some others I have eaten. I wish I could tell you about the chips but I can't because I was too focused on the chicken. If I lived in Birmingham this would be a weekly stop for me .

I went in for a takeaway.. bought chicken steak burger amazing !! Service was poor, I asked for the meal I got the meal, but when I asked for my drink, oh u don’t get it!! 🙄 I paid for a god dam meal, they just really annoying u should always double check you’re order. I’m just writing this review because whenever I go in something always happens to my order! 😳

It's almost controversial to say this but Pepe's is actually better than Nandos! The flavours are immense and there is a great variety of meals available. I love the chicken and rice box and the half chicken grill meal. It's ideal for friends, couples and families - a great place for fast/casual food. Unfortunately despite the great taste, I cannot give it 5 stars... this is because the restaurant on Corporation Street is always dirty. There are discarded chicken boxes on the floor and you have to always ask staff to clean the tables. It shouldn't be like this considering the place is always busy and there are 5-6 staff members on duty. This needs to improve.

I've been in a couple of times and had the burgers which are okay but yesterday I had the burrito which I have to say was excellent. Cooked to order and delish. This will be my default order from now on. On the down side the onion rings were average at best.

This is a regular spot for myself anhd Pepes food , as always , is delicious , however the portion sizes are sometimes small for what you pay. For example the chicken in pitta bread (forgot its name). I wouldn't go for that again for that reason. The chick'n'rice is delicious , as are the strips and the BBQ sizzler and peri peri fries my absolute fav. The service is a bit hit and miss . Some staff are friendly , others indifferent. My main problem with the place would be the cleanliness. Sometimes the tables are not cleaned and there is mess around , the floor underneath the tables seems to have food bits or mess . Having said that , the food itself is a good alternative to unhealthy fast food and tastes very good.

We expected Mexican or TexMex flavours but our 'burritos' tasted more like chicken tikka wraps. They tasted like the meat was marinated in curry spices and did not include the usual burrito ingredients like tomato, guacamole, sour creme, cheese etc. Having said that, the meat was fresh, grilled to perfection, succulent. Great chips. Great service. So if you're not looking for burritos but interested in a great wrap, this is a very good choice.

Eat here a lot and food is delicious ! Chicken is cooked fresh on the grill so makes it healthier than the dixys next door. Only criticism is the staff are so stingy with the serviettes they give you. You get 2 if you're lucky and with all the sauces on the meat you do need to keep going back and asking for more. Woman once told me I had enough on my tray when I had 1 !!!!! Apart from treating serviettes like gold dust the place is def worth a visit

I have visited here a number of times in the last 12 months with work colleagues and the food is delicious. It is always busy and the service is very good.
