Pepe's in St. Helens

Got a chicken rice box and the chicken was mushed into the box and the smell coming from the chicken actually stunk like my garbage bins. Didn’t even bother tasting it because I would’ve been in the hospital on life support. DONT EVEN BOTHER GOING TO THIS SPOT!!!

Disgusted! Shocking customer service, don’t care at all once they’ve got your money. Ordered tea for me and my daughter, food was delivered however it wasn’t our food it was a genos order! Rang up straight away to report the wrong food had been ordered. I ordered a chicken and rice box and a nugget meal for my daughter and a donner kebab was delivered. The staff were incredibly rude and stated ‘there’s nothing they can do it’s not their fault it’s the drivers and for us to request a refund and order again’ we stated we have a child here without food and I’m pregnant also without food, neither of us will eat donner meat and we’re now £30 down. The staff kept stating ‘there’s nothing they can do’ we stated how we are still their customers and haven’t received the food we have ordered from THEM to which they did not care at all and would not send our correct order. They stated they don’t communicate with the delivery drivers and there’s nothing more we can do. Apparently there’s ‘no manager’ we can speak to and was spoke to disgustingly and then hung up on by a very rude woman. As regular orders we will NEVER be ordering again. Disgusting.

Ordered using UberEats app. Ordered food at 16.53 and didn’t receive order till 18.19 when we decided to cancel. The restaurants number kept going through to voicemail, left a message as well asking for an update. The restaurant delivery cannot be tracked by app. Decided to cancel. Delivery driver arrived at 18.37. Told him we cancelled and asked why there was no response, updates. Driver went back in the car, no apology or explanation and took the food back with him.

100% as always. Chicken is tasty, seasoned well. Fast delivery. Food still hot. My favourite take away in St Helens. The fries are even nice. Nandos has nothing on this place.

So was greeted by guy at desk and placed a simple order being 2 x rice and chicken. He then added chips to my order which I cancelled as wasn’t needed. After paying I noticed 30p peri salt was added. Not end of the world. Then over hear manager saying “who ordered this, and if they wants chips he needs to pay”… (thinking the customer wasn’t in store) anyway grabbed food and left asking for the loose change to be put in tips box. Food was nice and warm and very tasty so no qualms with food just service was poor. I often order from Swindon and service is completely different as Swindon store is always a nice experience
