the staff is very dirty and not good service .some off them very bad behavior

There’s always so many staff in but the waiting time is really long.. missed an item from my order aswell.

I am literally trying to ring you guys about dietary requirements. No answer

I ordered the same thing everytime from here, I order chicken nachos with mild spice on the chicken it came with hot hot and my chips was cover in Peri salt when I asked for no salt. It’s a shame how nice this place is but so very inconsistent when it comes to receiving your food. Hopefully the manager will see this and get on top of this establishment.

I ordered food worth £40 and 3 of my main meals were missing. I also ordered for the kids and the delivery arrived 15-20 mins late. I called the restaurant 10 times and finally someone picked up, I told them about my missing items and they said to hold on and put the phone down. I called 20 times after and still no one picked up. The customer service is appalling. Would not recommend to ever order my food from them again.

He ate the food ordered from here and got stomach pain and diarrhoea.They have hired unprofessional people who do not cook the food properly but serve it raw.

WARNING! WAS NEARLY GIVEN BIN FOOD! I was a regular at this Pepe’s via Uber! Last night I placed an order for a family platter. The whole chicken was undercooked, when I contacted the restaurant they offered to replace the platter but we had to collect (which I felt was in not fair as we had already paid paid for delivery and service via Uber. But we wanted the food so we went ahead and took the whole platter back to the shop as the shop had instructed. But we was only given part of the platter back, when asked for the rest of the order they said the grill is now closed. I was very polite the whole way through even thou we was so inconvenienced. After they offered no solution for the missing part of the order (even though we drove down and they said they would replace it) I asked if we could get the missing items from my original order. A worker instructed the other worker to take the food out of the bin to give to me. (In his language which he thought I did not understand). When questioned if he has juts asked his colleague to give me food out the bin (this was the point when I stopped being polite!) he lied to my face and said no I was telling him I binned ur order! | was so enraged I left the shop at this point. with only half the order! I did not take a picture of the first order as I returned to shop picture included is of the half order given which has wings and chips missing. Also we were offered extra food for the inconvenience were not given half the original order of the extra compensation food that was offered. I originally asked for the food to be bought to the car as I had paid for delivery as my son was unwell and would be in the car with me, but luckily I decided make it easier for the workers and go in the shop as I probably would have got some of my food from the bin!

Ordered a meal for myself and three kids. Delivery ran 15 minutes late. Unfortunately, the kids refused to eat, and my meal was very disappointing. Definitely won’t be ordering from here again. 1/5 stars.

Do not order from here! My order was over an hour and half late. When I rang up to check where it was they kept saying it was around the corner. When i asked where he had been and that i was told he had left the shop at a certain time the driver said the people in the shop was lying. The food was cold. A large bottle of 7up was missed off my order. When I rang up to complain and bring up the fact the driver had said they were lying I have been blocked. Hope they see this as I never got to say what I wanted to say to them. Rip offs that can't even cook chicken. They take your money and are not bothered whether you get your food or not!

Chicken was dry and almost cold by the time I was served, I've been to a few pepes and this one was the worst, the place was filthy no idea how it got 5 stars for hygiene.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had at any takeaway. We decided to visit pepe as the kid was hungry. When we were ready to make the order, the lady at the counter looked like she did not want to be there. We ordered some wings and at that point she leaves the till and approaches her colleague cooking food on the grill. It seemed like she was encouraging him to make the order but he looked disentrested and really angry ay the idea that he received another order to make. So lady comes up to the counter and days we don't have wings. So I asked for tenders she answered that they don't have any chicken at all. So when we point to the chicken on the grill she replies yeh but it will take 40 mins. I get the point you are both lazy and do not want to take the order so you don't have to work. Absolutely disgusting behaviour, lying to your customers that you don't have chicken simply because you are too lazy! Regular uber eats customer will not be returning!

Today I have came to Pepes to order food I ask for take away and I ask for drinks and I need them Pepsi can but they said they won’t give any cans and they comparing with KFC company policy. They guy said this and his Name is Muhammad Usman very bad customer service when asking for the Information he is not answering very rude. There is No Manager in the Sore that’s what said said by Muhammad Usman. Very rude and bad behaviour.

Rubbish cold chips, uninformed staff, no halal certificate before the counter.

I ordered two burgers and they were both bad. It tasted like cardboard and the beef was so hard and very disgusting.

Avoid like the plague - the service is so slow, 0 customer service skills and my cheese burger tasted off as the texture and taste was weird! What a waste of money and time.

Good place had paneer rice peri peri fries and drink meal nice for 8 pound good value recommended come here enjoy Thank you.

Sauce on the chicken is alway different which make the taste different. Don’t think staff are trained the same way. They just go with what they fell like. Those are 2 different time I ordered in the pictures

Had grilled chicken wings in peri per sauce with garlic mayo dip at pepes peri peri The taste was awesome bit spicy , juicy and tangy with prime pitta bread which comes with grilled chicken and a coke (nip) both of them tasted awesome and the tummy had yummy lunch and still drooling remembering the taste and looking at the pic.

Food is good . Staff is slow amd unfriendly rude . I place an order 5pm to collect from store at 5:30 . Got there not ready yet .staff have ni clue .I had wait till 5:55pm to get order . They told me wait for 10 minutes but then when I went back at 5:55pm and asked about my order again. It was ready but staff was busy talking to each other like they are always do whenever you go .so not a great experience. But the sad thing is near my house their is only one pepe chicken which is no goof I have another near my house I will never go back on this one . If you want to order from this shop Order 1 hour early because staff is slow as ...........

Got some chicken tasted like washing soap! Fries were nice

been to Pepe’s 3 times and rejected services. After waiting in line 10 minutes to get served, while staff was eating their food in the booth right next to us! finally they then told us they’re closed and refused to served us. they’re showing wrong time on there website. RUDE STAFF!!

My order was about £55 I have ordered 4 garlic mayo dip and one chilli dip separately they haven’t send me even a single dip and they have charged me already for that very bad service no customer satisfaction

This has been the worst nite mare we ordered food via uber eat the delivery were due in 40mins but never received the food after 1 hour 35 mins we were told it had been delivered after numberous calls we tried to rectify the problem firect with uber eat and repaced the order again and were told to come n pic it up in 15 mins. After arriving to colkect in 20mins we were told to wait further 15mins. This place is a big joke n waste of time with very unprofessional sales assistents n very poor management

My order came late and more than half of my order was missing! I rang the takeaway and at first I was spoken to by a young man and then put on hold to speak to the manager. Finally he spoke to me - and then started swearing on the phone to his co workers and put the phone down on me! Eventually they picked up again and said they can't do anything because there is no manager - but I spoke to him before he put the phone down on me! We had to end up going to the takeaway and re ordering because they weren't going to anything. How unprofessional!

Ordered food for delivery, after waiting 1 hour 30 minutes they did not pack over half of our order. When I called them they told me they will sort it out next time. Ok so some of us will go hungry and what made them think there will be a next time!! Awful service, AVOID THIS PLACE.

Went in with a friend today. I love Pepes but this Cheetham Hill branch is the WORST I have ever come accross. Staff is literally drunk or high Idk they take too long to make your order. Paid for a large meal but got regular fries. Worst customer service EVER! Avoid this place!!

Absolutely horrendous. I ordered 3 burgers and they charged me for 4 burgers. They said the order will take approximately 10 minutes and then half an hour later my burgers are ready. People came in the shop after me and they received their orders first. Only 2 staff and they are arrogant and can't control the orderes. Pathetic!

We really enjoyed their mango and lime spiced chicken, that was three years ago. I visited Pepe's again on 09/07/2022 and I regretted it, I waited 30 minutes for my take away and when I got home, I realised that I might have just as well boiled chicken at home spiced it, and it would have tasted better.

Found a black hair in my chicken rice box. Staff didn't wear correct equipment not even a cap to keep the hair from falling from food.The hair was embedded in the chicken and when addressed the staff started blaming random things saying it was from the seasonings brush which was brown. “You started eating it so cant give you a refund” I had hair from your Tash in my food. Very dirty unhygienic place avoid people !!

So far the buster meal is tasty tried the extra hot and hot. Lovely flavours. only down fall is if you are having a takeaway meal with a drink you should be given a can drink. Cup drinks for inside use only.

It’s really up or down with this place, used to be one of the best Pepes but clearly something has gone wrong. Orders are always wrong, food is cold and don’t get me started on the staff.

Very poor customer skills, all the staff is drunk or high I dont know. You order one thing they give you a different thing. Its not even the first time. Its 3rd time they are messing with my order and when you call them for complain they will listen to you for a minute and hung up on you. Very unprofessional staff. When you go inside they wont even greet you with a smile feels like they are not getting paid and working there for free.

Worst pepe's franchise.. no taste for food.. ordered family platter and a XL burger takeaway ( Medium spicy ) no spice or peri peri taste for it. Ordered peri peri fries and they gave normal soggy fries which were freezing. Chicken was like a small tiny bird not weighing more than 300 grams. Asked for mayonnaise and they gave garlic mayo which iam allergic to.Normally i order from Oldham but i was in Cheetham hill thought i will take from there. AVOID THIS PLACE... WASTE OF MONEY..WASTE OF TIME.

Food was good and tasty. Toilet was kinda mess as there was no soap and toilet roll. Paid for the piri piri fries instead got the plain ones. Just need little adjustments like these. Otherwise a perfect place to eat

Was told it will be about 20 minutes till we get our food… waited 35 minutes, and asked then where out order is and the indian lady started faffing about and took another 15minutes.. shop wasnt even busy, and people who came after is got their food before us…. Ordered food. Was told 20 minutes. So we waited. People were coming in after us and being served first. Went to till and asked and only them remembered to pack it. 40 minutes after. Guy asked if I wanted anything for free cake or ice-cream and I refused I gave them the benefit of the doubt that sometimes you can be extra busy and forget. We got the food come home and it was very cold. I live 3 minute walk from there so expected it to be warm. The chicken tasca was cold and not even grilled as image below. Cold bread and chicken. Just tasted awful to be honest it all went in the bin what a waste of £28. Order no. A-47 placed on 29.10 for your reference. Just some advice we don't mind waiting for food but we expected it to be cooked properly.

Absolute disgrace! Ordered through uber eats a single 1/4 cheese burger meal. They sent a double cheese burger with burnt beef tasted horrible. Ordered a kids meal they sent out just a burger no fries or drink as it was part of the meal and paid for. Serve what u have been paid for. Total ripoff never ordering from here again! Just been in to have lunch around 1pm and the food was cooked to perfection, the two staff members were very polite, efficient and welcoming. We recommend the food to all 👍🏽

Just been peeps cheetham hill on 26th morning ordered 3 XL meals excellent food and very tasty would recommend to everyone

They run the Fast Food Business, the only thing they lack is being """"FAST"""" I was told to wait 10 minutes for an order i placed and after 15 minutes when i asked, they said 2 more minutes and after 5 more minutes when i asked said a couple more minutes, I never write Reviews however on Friday Night when there were literally 2 customers in the shop you would expect it to be faster, The employees were chatting and doing other things rather than preparing my food and only when i asked they remembered the order is not even gone to grill and by this time i was the only customer standing in the shop, This was my first and last visit to the shop and i can see why there were no customers, Worst Service AVOID THEM AT ALL COST

Great food if you think of taste, full of spice and flavour ( if you are a fan). I used uber eats and, unfortunately, half of the order wasn't delivered (wasn't in the bag). No drinks delivered where I put meal options, 1 kids meal not there, including their drinks and, obviously, they were disappointed, my veggie burger not there, so I went without food.... not sure what happened, but after this not happy experience I am not going to go for delivery in the future.

I got a family takeaway from pepes and I must say the service was much better than the last time I went the food was cooked too perfection not too mention the customer service was way better than I have previously experienced at pepes hence why I stopped going after the management changed...

Ordered food home and the chicken was old and chewy, as a regular customer I know what the quality should be like. Called up pepes and asked if anything can be done about this and was told that they can’t do anything and I should contact Uber eats for a refund. Uber eats is not at fault here they delivered the food within 30 minutes, they weren’t the ones who made the food! I expected at least for pepes to offer fresh food whilst I returned the old food that has hardly been eaten. You have lost 4 regular customers from this household!

Worst customer service ever! The manager is so rude and unprofessional. Every time you order from them they get your order wrong! Last time I ordered they gave me someone else’s food I had to travel back and they didn’t even have the decency to apologise and this time they didn’t even add the items I ordered! I had to go back again asked to speak to the manager they lied saying he wasn’t there when he clearly was didn’t have the decency to speak to me, I asked for a refund as this was not the first time and they refused (great customer service) Called them and placed an order the lady said it’ll be 15-20 mins went in at the time she said it will be ready had to wait another 15 minutes. Workers there are too busy chatting away with one another mid way through taking orders! Wouldn’t recommend ordering from them! Wilmslow road branch is 100 times shame it’s far from me.

I honestly would not ever go here as the manager was so rude he was speaking in hushed tones thinking i couldnt hear him he was racially abusing my friend in another language which i understand, i have never met such a rude and unprofessional person in my life. The staff have no customer service ignore you and continue chatting while on duty. I think this whole place should be put on a special course for learning basic manners which they unfortunately dont have. They gave me the wrong order then tried blaming me for that which was very shocking. I think this store should be closed until a more competent team can be bought in to make this branch better. Im going to give you 1 star because this one star will remind you of the one last brain cell you have left and please help for all the workers they are a danger to society.

Not even worth the one star rating. Rude owner and staff. Got told 10 minutes and given food after 35 minutes. People ordering 10 minutes later then me got there food before my order. Upon complaining why his staff delayed my food,because of them chatting and wasting time. And instead of reprimanding his staff and apologising for they’re mistake and his establishment he starts showing me his own arm as my blood sugar level had dropped immensely and I was shaking that he is also a diabetic and that I should’ve told the staff before ordering. Would that have gotten me my food within the given time or even earlier?.. I would avoid this place until they teach they’re staff and himself manners. Having a little 1-2 year old toddler in the kitchen standing not so far from the grill and fryer, and then he is telling me how professional he and his staff esp the grill chef is who is wearing slippers no gloves,no apron,the girl wearing no net to cover her hair and also the bearded man in the back with no net on his beard. Shouldn’t be called Pepe’s but more like Papa’s as it being such a relaxed laid back and greasy joint. A little clean degreasing the place and maybe a quick visit from the health and Enviroment may help as having little toddlers in a hot kitchen may prevent a severe future hazard. The negative review is for the establishment to wake up and better themselves and not a personal dig at them.

Not one to write reviews but, I went into the franchise today, got told that the food would be ready within 10 minutes, 15 minutes later still no food waited an extra 10 minutes and went to the till to ask about the food and one of the staff members had thrown the patty onto the grill as we asked how long, they obviously had forgotten about the order as the staff member at the till also was busy chatting to some guy right after our order and had said that we haven't been waiting 30 minutes as she went to get the receipt she realised that it had in fact been 30 minutes, Also had observed that they were giving orders that didn't include everything to one couple waiting to takeaway their food. Wasted a whole hour to get a small dry burger with no mayo and dry chips. The way that the manager handled the situation was appalling and at the end of the discussion told us to see the door and go- rude. Really disappointing as i thought i was going to enjoy my meal with my father after 2 months away from home however absolutely ruined the evening and had to eat my meal alone.

Very rude staff. Always busy talking to each other and never give attention to the customer. Food is always bad whenever you order there is always some issues with the food. Complaint to the manager 2 times but still same attitude. And one more thing when they get busy they but put the phone on side never answer the calls. Very disappointed. Never recommend to anyone.

Not worth spending a single penny. Ordered mild rice and chicken and they delivered extra hot one and not a very good quality of chicken and rice. Not recommended at all.
