Had the pleasure of eating from this shop. The staff member on the counter was quite unprofessional however Anmol who was making the food was superb. We went for the Peri Burger Meal and it was so good that we chose to add to the order, getting the whole chicken platter. Overall the food was amazing and Anmol really was a consummate professional throughout. His customer service was 10/10. I would really recommend.

The thing I love about Pepe is the Chik n rice. Especially the lemon and herb flavour. If I want to get a quick meal, I would always order that as it can be filling and the price isn't too bad either. They also have the chilli cheese nuggets

I’ve been a regular customer at this Pepe’s location for quite a while, but recently, over the past few weeks, I’ve noticed a serious decline in the quality of food. I’ve given this place multiple chances to improve, but every time, the experience has been disappointing. The flavors and freshness I used to enjoy just aren’t there anymore. I’ve also noticed some new staff members, so maybe this change is affecting the consistency and quality. I’m leaving this feedback with the hope that the team takes it seriously because I would much rather continue supporting my local Pepe’s than go elsewhere. If things don’t improve, though, I’ll have to make the trip to Cheltenham, where the quality is consistently top-notch. I hope this review helps bring some positive changes. Thanks!

This is the first time I have been there .. unfortunately the chicken was pre cooked and I saw it was taken from the fridge and they just reheat it. As a chef I know well if the chicken is made fresh or not. And how long it will take to cook a chicken. Guys U need to treat all the customers same , please don't take it for granted. Fries and pitta is good , 2 stars for that.

My first time at pepes, and it was a brilliant experience the food was great! Tassawar The guy who served me greeted me very politely and it was great experience. I certainly will spending my money here more frequently! If you’ve never had a pepes I suggest you get your bum down there!

Today we bought whole chicken for lunch but not fresh seems it was already cooked and they just heat up. Funny part was in whole chicken 3 pieces of chest and one leg. I'll highly recommend to buy in dinner as they give more fresh chicken.

Always been a fan of pepes but for the last three times we’ve been the food has been that terrible we’ve had to chuck it in the bin it’s like it’s boiled rather put on the grill we always travel to Bristol for pepes from now on as the atmosphere in this establishment and the food quality is not good the food is very dry like they’re cutting back on the sauce we have asked them on a couple occasions for extra sauce but they just don’t listen avoid do not recommend

The guy didn’t have basic food hygiene knowledge. Took orders first, Touched chicken patty with bare hands, then took buns and threw it in to microwave, then put fries in fryer. Thankfully held to the bag. Then took buns out with barehanded to dress them. Got annoyed when he used bare hand to put lettuce. At this point asked him to stop and took refund. Shame they lack basic food hygiene.

One of the staff was very rude to us and my kids. Worst experience for my family. Incorrect order. Less quantity. Worst branch of Pepe's to go to. The other branches are very good like the one in Easton. They don't have any wet wipes and the toilet is also out of order. The service is very bad.

terrible experience ordered chicken and rice box instead we got 2 legs only found out about it when got home next day went back to shop to talk about it but ended up getting shouted at by the female staff never going there again as this was not the first time they had our order wrong which was when we ordered 1 full chicken but instead got 3 legs and 1 breast ps never got a refund

Visited this branch a few times. Food has been good and fresh. Burgers, Wraps and fries were very tasty. Good customer service too.

I used to work in gloucester for Lloyds Banking group in Barnwood and i used to work order from this place. The food is always bland, small portions and they used to fry the paneer which is absolute nasty. I complained about this ans the owner very rude. I spoke to Pepe's headquarters who said they shouldnt be frying the paneer. Never again!!!! Avoid!!!

My partner ordered from this place this evening. food was cold, undercooked and extremely greasy. Called to complain and was told they weren't going to do anything and to call back at a less busy time for a refund. Very disappointed. Will not be ordering from this place again!

The people who work are friendly and remember your previous order. The food is always on mark and hasn't disappointed, I've ordered more than 10 times from them. I'm travelling all the way from Cheltenham to Gloucester to collect as the Cheltenham one has always been a let down and the chicken is always overcooked.

I had a veggie burger which was great! Thry happily put some cheese on which Burger King won't do now (a pain when you don't want a vegan burger!). Nice salad and mayo on it as well. Wasn't spicy - you can ask for spicy sauce if that's your thing! Fries were decent too. 👍👍👍👍👍

The quality of food here is great. Their gourmet burger and chicken Tasca are a must! However, they are slightly more expensive than the other peri-peri places around here.

Made an order today. Awful experience, one of the worst experiences from a delivery service and food quality wise. The food portions were so far off and did not replicate the high prices for such low quality food. The chips were dry. The wraps are not filled with chicken more with sauces and salad. The service after I called to notify them were not accepting or quick to apologise but more using Pepe as a high horse to say they do this for every customer. In Gloucester there’s plenty better places to eat. And a place which doesn’t acknowledge portions or helpful service isn’t a place for me. Never going to order here again. And not even an apology when I called, it’s a little disappointing.

Ordered for first time today poor chap had a struggle to find us but got here in the end and can I say it was well worth the wait the chicken fell off the bone and was beautiful full of flavour my mate had the veggi panni with she could have eaten 2 of as it was so yummy!! Ordered wrap meal with Chips and Drink, Chips were cold and tasted like they had been Fried a few times, The wrap was not quite as cold as the chips but nowhere near what it should be. I'd rather go to Blaze on Worcester Street
