Best pizza in lancaster. Flavourful crust, incredible sauce, and all cooked perfectly. Only downside is that they don’t always deliver.

I’ve been going to Pepe Rosso for some years now but this time I was very disappointed ☹️ the tomato sauce was spread so thinly you could see the base through it almost translucent, Im a big garlic fan so asked for lots of garlic to be put on unfortunately I couldn’t taste any. The only positive comment is that it was beautifully presented, not sure I’d go back any time soon

Really enjoyed our pizzas. Would go for the larger ones if you have a big appetite. Took a little longer than expected but was worth the wait

Wow! This is the tastiest pizza I have ever experienced. Even better than in Naples! I can highly recommend and can't wait to place my next order. The base is just right, with that authentic wood-fired flavour and rich tomato sauce. You won't be disappointed.

There pizzas are gorgeous I honestly would want to live there the cheese pulls go on forever and the dough is nice and crispy on the edge and not soggy in the middle😍😍

We called in on Sunday evening, 29th July, and ordered three pizzas. Being freshly prepared and cooked took about fifteen minutes, we all agreed the pizzas were excellent and lived up to the good reviews we had seen.....highly recommended! Peter.

We aren't from the area and travel quite a long way,as much as we can, to come here. The place is rustic and the staff are friendly. It smells amazing when you walk in. The food is simple, expertly prepared and addictive. The pizzas really are first rate and perfectly cooked.

Ordered a takeaway from Pepe last week for a treat, asked them to be ready for specific time. Everything was spot on from collecting the pizzas which were ready at the specified time, hot and tasty, the Calzone was packed and really delicious, also price is very good. Would highly recommend for a takeaway pizza. Best in the area.

Just got a well earned takeaway from pepe's tonight,haven't actually been here in a while.Don't get takeaways as much these days and always feel so disappointed after we have.Tonight was definitely the exception the whole experience was spot on.From excellent customer service to the quality of the food it was second to none.We ordered 2 kebabs and chips and can honestly say it is the best kebab we have ever had,the salad was so crisp and fresh( instead of the usual wilted muck you get)and the meat was tasty and succulent,what actually impressed me the most was the quality of the pitta,I am so used to getting a pathetic dry excuse which I could buy in a vacuum pack at a supermarket.instead I had a fresh homemade pitta that would be worthy of any Greek taverna abroad.After finishing said kebab,instead of feeling sickly and bloated and ripped off I felt nicely contented with a desire to return.well done Pepe's keep up the good work.

Authentic pizza cooked to perfection. Always enjoy our food from here. Pasta dishes are great, kebabs are great, calzones are great. Will always return. Fresh products that don't make you instantly regret eating them like some take aways!

This used to be my families favourite takeaway in Lancaster. It used to do good food, be friendly and you got what you paid for. However over the last year it has gone into sharp decline when we have used it, which is a real shame. The last straw was when they forgot to fulfil part of an order and refused to take the food from that part of the order back and fulfil the order that had been paid for. Apparently it’s not their policy to rectify mistakes they make, you just have to live with it. I felt totally ripped off. Why this has happened with pretty much the same people running the place is mystery. On the plus side, it’s one less place to be tempted to buy junk food from. Every cloud and all that.....

Pizza was tasteless with sparce topping. The Base was very thin, there was a lack of seasoning and very limited topping. Would recommend to go elsewhere

This was first time iv used Pepe Rosso as a friend recommended it pizza was under cooked and cold when it came won't use again very disappointing.

My favourite takeaway pizza in Lancaster - excellent pizza and quick, too. Waiting area could do with an update though. San Pellegrino mineral water would be nice and some more choice of italian beer but other than that this place is fab

My family and I have been customers here for a few years now and we are repeatedly very impressed with the pizzas and pastas. There are so many great options on the menu at a very good price. We tend to collect our pizzas which have always been ready to collect in under an hour. Also the staff are very friendly. Overall we will remain loyal customers and I highly recommend Pepe Rosso to others in Lancaster!

Delivery times are shocking and 5 out of 6 of my visits in 2015 I have not been able to purchase a mixed kebab due to either no chicken or doner?????When the food is available, and you pick it up instead of relying on delivery, it can be very good.

I have had pizzas from this takeaway since I was a child and always loved it but unfortunately one day you delivered me the wrong pizza wrong mayonnaise and it was cold. I am not a person who complains but it costs too much money to be unhappy with the service, when we complained we were met with terrible service. Today we ordered a pizza and received a call back from a rude pig headed delivery driver saying he was refusing to deliver to us because we were liars. I spend 20-40 a week on this takeaway and cant believe I have been treated this way. I will never use this takeaway again. Massive shame.

Although it's a takeaway, so you can't dine out, the quality of the pizzas is phenomenal. With a proper stone baked base, they tick all the right boxes, and buy your own wine in for a cheaper dining experience. there may be times where it's so busy the wait is long, but it just shows how much people love the food

Love the pizzas from here very tasty and just how a pizza should be. The downside is if you try and ring up you tend not to get through to them ever so best to just pop in.

Amazing pizza, the cheeky little egg on the Mafioso is a stroke of genius. When I crave pizza, it's Pepe Rosso I'm thinking of. But not being able to get through when I know they're open is really quite frustrating. Tried for half an hour tonight with no joy. We've been customers for years and we'll still be customers - when they answer the phone - but don't bother at peak times. Collect for the best quality, delivery isn't kind. Owners, please invest in your business, you are better than this!

I have been collecting Pizza from here for years now. The Pizza is the best takeaway pizza in Lancaster in my opinion. The menu is large and varied and more authentic than your average pizza spot. Price is good too! The pizza has a nice thin crust and seems to be cooked at the right temperature(meaning the dough is cooked through) you often see bubbles in the crust which is a good sign of a pizza cooked at the right temperature which every other take away in Lancaster I've tried fails miserably at doing!On the negative side they only deliver in Lancaster area(if your every lucky enough to get a delivery slot)and are usually that busy that you can be told you will have to wait up to 2 hrs, Yes, that's 2 hrs just for a collection at busy times! This is huge fail for a business as this place could make a fortune very easily with very little effort. They have had a kitchen refit in recent years with new bigger ovens which seem to have made no difference to the mega slow service.. The staff seem pleasant enough yet look totally over run most of the time with very little in the way of custom to give them a reason to be! I'm fairly sure that this is the way the owner likes it as it's never changed in years.. Strange when this place could make a Killing with next to no effort! Overall get your orders in early the Pizza is the best locally at a good price but forget it at busy times. I've been going for years and will continue to do so, picking my times carefully!

The pizzas are amazing from this shop but if you want your food hot then we would strongly advise you pick it up! The service is appalling, delivery can take hours and food arrives cold. They never apologise and recently told us that they couldn't deliver because they were not travelling across the bridge due to traffic, even when delivery wouldn't be until after 7pm when traffic is usually clear. It's such a shame.

The food here is fantastic, really really good, and excellent value for money, the staff are friendly, but unfortunately they are just too busy for their own good. They don't answer the phone when they're busy (which is most of the time in my experience), and when people turn up at the shop to order, they're often told, they'll have a wait of an hour for their food.Now their web site has disappeared, so I can't even see the menu to place a telephone order.It's a real shame, as it's a great pizza takeaway, it's a league above the large vastly overpriced pizza chains.They really need to invest in the business, take on more staff, move to a bigger location, because as things stand, the good food is their downfall. I'm finding myself not wanting to order, because they don't answer the phone, have a long wait. Shame, real shame.

Truly the best pizza in Lancaster would recommend to anyone really tasty, great friendly staff too. 10/10

Who knew ordering a take-away pizza could be such an enjoyable experience?! I have never had such cheery, welcoming and polite customer service from a take-away provider before and the food was exceptional! Light, fresh and full of flavour...Italy would be proud! :-)

The food is amazing. I've not found another take away that does such fantastic pizzas. The chicken kebabs are perhaps the best kebabs I have ever had.

Maybe won't win any awards. But it's real pizza, unlike the deep fried junk from Dominos, etc. Friendly service, good pizza, if not exceptional (seasoning was a little lacking, despite good ingredients). Good prices also.

Tasty food let down by very poor service, delivery which can take almost 2 hours (regardless of the day of the week) and which always results in cold food. Like I say, the food is tasty but the food is always cold and is even further let down by small portions of meat (chicken kebab). I live 1.8 miles from this takeaway and yet on every occasion I order food from them it has taken a ridiculous amount of time to arrive with no apology. Avoid unless you like cold food and a long wait!!

Amazing pizza's like no other. We had a Pepperoni and Calzone and whilst the Calzone was fantastic, the Pepperoni was probably the best pizza we have tasted and delivering beer is a big bonus.
