Came here on Sunday ordered large chips and mushy peas Mugged off small box not £4 large bag and chucked load of salt awful Chips under cooked Awful never again Avoid this overpriced shxxx

Medium portion of chips , sausage , fish cake and runny curry sauce for just under a Tenner ! Both my girls were hungry after aged 14 Won't be back If they want a takeaway will drive up to KFC or another outlet

Excellent fish and chips, large portions, I ordered medium cod and chips, the batter was nice and crispy, freshly cooked and tasty :) Would definitely recommend!

Backpacking the SWCP…… Food lovely. Serving staff lovely. But…… DO NOT EXPECT TO CHARGE YOUR PHONE FROM ONE OF THE SEVEN AVAILABLE SOCKETS OR YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE 😱…… missed out on a five star review…….hey ho 🤪

Absolutely lovely scampi, chips are brilliant they aren’t really greasy, overall it is incomparable

called for an last minute take away, what a disappointment, very expensive, battered sausage was almost inedible, chips were possibly cooked earlier and reheated, curry sauce was insipid and like water, most of it went in the bin, will not be visiting again.

The cod & chips were flavoursome especially the curry sauce was bomb. Great customer service and friendly staff.

Over priced and chips were not good... Believe they use frozen chips, portion sizes are shocking as well for cost. Won't be visiting again.

Ate from Pentewan Plaice twice in the week we were there. We’re on holiday! 😜 Had fish and chips, with curry sauce. Batter on the fish was delicious, chips were nice and not greasy. I liked the ‘skin on’ chips. Curry sauce is really tasty, what I call proper chippy curry sauce. Second time we had the chicken burger which was just as tasty. Proper ‘cornish’ service from Jodie & Rachael, 😊 Would recommend.

Fish was good with a light crispy batter. Chips have skins on which really don't go with fish. Curry sauce is very watery and very fragrant. Peas are ok. Chip butty, dry bread and not child friendly due to skin on chips. Not a traditional chippy meal.

The chips could have been fried a bit longer for my taste but the fish was really excellent.

Sorry but our takeaway was just horrible! I ordered a fish cake which arrived burnt and tasted disgusting. The rest of our group had fish and chips and they couldn't eat the fish because of its awful taste. The chips were a cross between old and new. I have given 1 star as the food was warm. Won't be returning.

Went here last night to get our takeaway fish and chips for our last night of caravanning at Pentewan Sands and the fish and chips were so good! The batter on the fish was lovely and light, the chips were delicious (the best we have had in years) and the portions were generous too. We would definitely recommend getting a takeaway from here, we will be back next time we stay.

Absolutely dreadful you get stale chips amongst the fresh ones which I can put up with but this is the last time I spend my money in this place wish I could show the photo I took, fish and chips the fish was just about edible but the chips disgusting burned watery stale my other half took them back and they would not refund the money for the chips saying there's nothing wrong with them, well I have taken this further. a few people on site have also have had the same issue with the same problem so it's not me being picky.

Have not updated their website to say they are NOT open only that it’s take away only, as most places are durning the lock down exit. Don’t waste your time walking out! Please keep your customers informed!

Great food good prices. Stayed at the complex for the week and had it twice. Batter is amazing and the fish is so fresh. Would definitely recommend them and would not think twice about eating there again. Very friendly staff and fast food freshly cooked. Keep up the good work.

Was excited to learn of this new venture by the folk at wreckers. Turned up today at 1:15, to find a note in the door saying open at 4:00. No explanation why closed. Shan’t bother coming over here again.

We stopped in for fish and chips. The food was excellent (the batter was perfectly light and crispy) and the restaurant area was clean and fresh. The order system with buzzers makes the wait far less boring as you can have a wander whilst waiting.
