Came here for birthday lunch with my sister, having visited previously a few years ago, both are meals was literally 10/10 I struggled to find something wrong 🤣literally finished my food and asked where I can leave a review . The price is definitely more than justified by the quality

Después de entrar por la puerta se encuentra con el personal positivo más acogedor y profesional que está claramente orgulloso de estar trabajando en un lugar tan encantador. Sus habilidades de servicio al cliente deben registrarse y mostrarse a otros establecimientos para mostrar «cómo debe hacerse». Al ordenar alimentos, observé que se presta mucha atención a las necesidades dietéticas de las personas y todo se comunica rápidamente a la cocina. La comida es excelente Este es un establecimiento de primera clase, y no se me ocurre una sola cosa que podría haber sido mejor.

Celebró el cumpleaños de nuestra hija en la calle hace poco. A su llegada Pennbury estaba zumbando. A pesar de que éramos una fiesta de 9 y un niño pequeño el personal era increíble, eficiente y produjo tuberías de comida caliente todo al mismo tiempo. Eran flexibles y nos permitieron una franja horaria extendida. Reserva previa y discutir nuestras necesidades valió la pena. Gracias a todos en Pennbury!

Very popular eatery.. the food is delicious.. fresh, beautifully presented, and a wonderful slant on the usual. The chicken Caesar salad is the best I’ve ever eaten and whoever the talented chef is.. tie him to a chair..😂👌👏👏

Fuimos como una familia de 4 (dos niños adolescentes). Habíamos reservado con antelación y nuestra mesa estaba lista a la llegada. Había mucha gente esperando en la cómoda zona de espera, así que recomendé reservar con antelación. Hubo una espera de 30 minutos para nuestra comida, pero bien valió la pena. La comida era preciosa. Saludable y sabroso y fresco. Un montón de opciones aparte de una fritura completa para que todos en mi familia fueran felices. El personal es encantador. Muy amable y servicial e informativo. Limpio y espacioso por dentro. Yo recomendaría defo y no puedo esperar para ir de nuevo. ¡Gracias Pennbury Farm!

Visited the cafe...great variety of options. The smoothie was lovely and refreshing. I had the wild mushrooms with poached eggs, sourdough bread and streaky bacon...it was full of flavour and presented perfectly. I'd definitely recommend for a visit

I was so amazed at the quality of food and how it was presented, whic is worthy of any high end, Michelin star restaurant. And it was fresh, clean and very tasty. I had the avocado breakfast dish - THE best by far avocado dish I have ever had. I don't know what chef did, but boy, it was tasty. The service was friendly, smily and inviting. Indoor dining area and indoor coffee lounge with outdoor seating were all beautifully laid out and very clean. This us a must go to place when tou want to have a breakfast, brunch or lunch or just a coffee and croissant. The only thing is it is not wheelchair friendly. There was plenty of parking.

Attended on Sunday 8 Sept. Ordered 2 drinks and asked for the food menu, no issues. Menu states breakfast until 1145am. I was simply told to order at the bar when handed the menu. Ordered my daughters breakfast and partway through ordering mine, another member of staff interrupted and said the breakfast was to 1130am on weekends. But the menu makes no mention of that time change on weekends. Additionally, another customer was amending her breakfast order directly in front of me in the queue and the staff member looked at the time behind her and stated, breakfast will stop being served shortly, before amending their order. We weren't even offered to order from the lunch menu as an alternative, just told 'Urm we stop breakfast at 11.30 am on weekends, sorry.' That is not a good service. The lady that interrupted me made me feel like my custom wasn't wanted or welcomed. I've been here several times and have not come across such rudeness and unprofessional behaviour. Very unhappy and hungry.

Visitado con mi familia, había un gran grupo de nosotros, pero debido a que no hicimos una reserva tuvimos que sentarnos en el sofá estilo asientos, que era un poco incómodo y no mucho espacio. El aguacate en las tostadas estaba muy bien, pero me hubiera encantado si mis huevos escalfados estaban corridos y mi chocolate caliente estaba caliente, ya que solo estaba caliente, pero era muy delicioso. Sin duda volvería como el menú del almuerzo se veía bien.

Nice place much improved but still run out of things

Conduje más de una hora para encontrarme con una amiga en la granja de Pennbury y tenía grandes expectativas, sin embargo, al llegar mi amiga pidió su desayuno, entonces solo estaba eligiendo fuera del menú y el tiempo había transcurrido para mi pedido. Aparentemente cortaron la hora de los pedidos de desayuno a las 11 : 45 en el punto (comprensible) pero no cuando otros en la mesa acaban de ordenar justo antes. Horrible servicio también. Preguntados por los postres y la señora dijo que tenían pasteles en la caja así que subimos a ver y comprar y tomaron nuestras bebidas de la mesa sabiendo que solo estábamos sentados. No recomendaría y no volvería de nuevo.

Lugar encantador para comer, excelente comida y servicio, todo el personal era educado y servicial, un ligero retraso con la comida, solo porque estaban muy ocupados y completamente explicado al ordenar. Cómo debería ser, no puedo recomendar lo suficientemente

We got there at possibly a very busy time only seating outside and it was cold and the seats are so uncomfortable Not the best start the coffee was just warm and sitting outside went cold very quick. The drinks came about about 30 mins before the food the food 2 bacon cobs took about 40 mins to arrive The food looked delicious however bacon was way to salty for me so I didn’t eat it I was hoping for great things maybe just time of day and food choice

Fantastic food and service. Had tandoori chicken in a brioche roll which was delightful . A real gem of a place to visit. Would recommend!!

Stopped here for coffee was a little disappointed. My husband asked for it to be extra hot, mine was OK but not as hot as I like, his looked very weak and luke warm. The worst of it was the stained spoons. This is a basic thing to get right. On the plus side the shops are nice and the food going out looked good, although we didn't eat so cannot confirm how good it tasted.

This place is brilliant. Great ambience it is so lovely to eat somewhere where the lighting is just right and you aren't blinded by spotlights! I have been here 4 times now and each time everything has been perfect. The food is all fresh and tasty and perfectly seasoned.Somebody has really thought about this menu and it is so refreshing to find somewhere where this standard is consistent.The service was efficient and the staff smiling and helpful.

Hands down the best breakfast and brunch spot in Leicester. Proper meat and local ingredients, the bacon and pepper hash is one of my favourites

I've been here before with my wife and my friends, and we are always very welcoming by the staff here. The choices of food for breakfast are very good selection 👌🏿 😋.

Lovely lunch today. The service was great and wonderful atmosphere. They had a wonderful gluten-free menu, and my Gran thoroughly enjoyed her ham egg and chips and I had the steak sandwich, which was good, however maybe had a tiny bit to much feta and the steak was cut the wrong direction meaning I couldn't chew through it as a bite so ended up pulling it all out and earing separately, still finished the whole plate. Will definitely be going back.

Lovely cafe/restaurant. I didn’t really get much here as only a brief stop to meet friends, but food that other people had looked really amazing, staff were friendly and happy to accommodate requests, lovely atmosphere and beautiful dining area

The staff are great...the food is delicious...the place is interesting although of course it's predominantly for eating out...there are about three shops which are lovely and a few outdoor animals.This is the only down side..knowing someone with a small holding I know they would never put pigs into a tiny pen with nothing much to do and a tin shelter so you get ready done bacon in the summer.the hens were all cramped together in a small enclosure too and the goats had nothing to do.i think they should stick to food preparation and not keep animals. What is the point I didn't see many kids over enthralled at looking at a few bored fed up looking animals.

Just tried to book afternoon tea, told they need 48 hours notice this is not advertised anywhere, or on the afternoon tea vouchers. Shame perhaps a suggestion to let people know when buying the vouchers or have it printed on the vouchers so people receiving them know the terms and conditions!

Cannot thank Pennbury enough for hosting myself and 20 others for a private afternoon tea. The food was absolutely delicious, and there was SO much we all left with a box of leftovers. The service was fantastic and they were really accommodating. We were in "The Loft" which was beautifully decorated and felt very private which was great. We cannot wait to all return. Thank you Pennbury!

Visited for the first time today. Really enjoy our lunch - consisting of sausage sandwich, burger & ham sandwich. Plus a Biscoff Rocky Road! Good coffee too. Nice atmosphere and helpful service. I would definitely visit again.

Nice breakfast but prices need looking at. Extra sauce add 50p, want salmon? That's a Surcharge. Very odd looking at a menu like this. As nice as the food is, it's very overpriced for what it is.

Pennbury Farm has a large cafe-restaurant, doing good business on the late lunchtime we called in. It is based just outside Great Glen in the country and happens to be on the country route out of Leicester that we've used for years to come south or go up into the city. There are a couple of shop units on site and a rather nice deli called Cheese & Pickle at Pennbury Farm, which we enjoyed looking round and buying a few foody items as a treat. The woman serving was friendly, pleasant and helpful and we chatted for a while before settling up. The range of goods was really good and worth a look, if you are stopping for something to eat or a coffee at the cafe. The food in the cafe is really nicely presented and the service was excellent. We liked everything we had. There is plenty of parking and easy access from the lane. All in all a good 5-stars for us and we'll be back again.

Lovely coffee and cake, but very popular, so if you want a meal, book ahead. Update: Been a few times since, still as good, and the breakfasts are great, especially the pancakes in various servings.

Always a great visit. My friend and I walked from Leicester taking a lovely circular countryside route of about 13 miles. Had a sausage cop and coffee, both very tasty. Also can now take the dog inside.

A warm welcome. Lots of unique choices on the menu, not just generic. Food is always lovely and they have THE best coffee around!

Third visit this time for afternoon tea for two Xmas present. The while thing was georgeous. Only given 4 stars because there were only 3 small finger sandwiches but 5 very rich cakes. Perhaps a better balance? Also we paid an extra 50p for a latte coffee. Seemed a bit petty.

I've lost count of the number of occasions I've visited Pennbury Farm. I usually go for brekkie, or coffee and cake. In my experience the food and coffee are consistently good, and staff are generally helpful and friendly. Prices are reasonable, and I also like that you are able to book a table because it's not an option many cafes offer.

Breakfast was lovely at the farm. Everything tasted great, felt fresh and the coffee was great also. Lovely atmosphere in the morning. Love the cheese and dairy shop which is available to visit. Will be back again!

Had lunch, precooked. Vegan menu missing. Limited to vegetarian burger or flat bread.

This place claims to be 'dog friendly ' they are any thing but! We were told to make our dog stop barking, ( he'd barked because someone came up to him who he knew). Anyone with a dog will know there isn't an on off switch with a dog. If he'd been barking incessantly we would not have taken him there in the first place. One custom makes a comment, and this organisation makes two more paying customers feel like they have no right to be there, and are antisocial. I used to like coming to Pembury Farm, I will never come again, nor will I recommend it to anyone!

Went to the christmas evening event today and disliked it on many levels. If you can walk to Pennbury Farm then walk as the parking is a massive joke, they advertised this event without having sufficient parking space and nobody to control all the cars arriving. I literally drove around in circles, around and around, every time a car pulled out I wasn’t in that bit and other cars would just jump right in. I told my family to hop out and go inside, after 15 minutes of the above I rang them up to leave and get back in the car as I just couldn’t park. They all got back in the car and then because we didn’t really want to travel all the way there for nothing we circled and circled and eventually two of us went for the same spot almost crashing head on but I won the spot. What’s that about? Disgusting to advertise an event and not prepare for it. Nowhere to sit so if you’re like me, taking their mum out for a nice evening, first outing since she came out of a two week hospital stay they’ll be nowhere to sit. Sausage rolls were not sold hot, there doesn’t look to be the ability to bake them, so a soggy, cold evening and can’t even warm up with a nice sausage roll…and the woman serving at the till there was really unfriendly and cold and quite snooty, horrible really. She let a lot of her colleagues down because where they were nice enough she was not. Will never visit again and will never recommend to anyone. I work in a bakery and love recommending places to our older clientele but this place will not be on my list.

Came to Pennbury farm for my birthday for an afternoon tea. The staff were so hospitable and attentive throughout regularly checking whether we needed any tea/coffee top ups. The afternoon tea was wonderful with a good selection of homemade desserts and sandwiches which were delicious. The interior is beautifully done too. I will definitely be returning for more afternoon teas here!

Restaurant and farm shop not a hotel so cannot comment. previously have had fantastic Lunches there but went on 12/10/23 and disappointed, steak sandwich cold rather than hot, and side of chips extremely salty. Menu had plenty of choices. We would go again to see if it was just a one off day.

Pennbury Farm 🚜 This cutesy place is one I cannot believe it's taken me this long to visit! I went with family as part of mine and my Dad's birthday celebrations 🍾 I love the fact they have live animals you get to see as soon as you park up, along with independent stores and a great farm shop! We visited the café and had a lovely lunch. We kept it simple as we had a huge cake waiting for us at home 😋 Shown: •Sausage Cob •Chai Latte •Side of Chips There was also a scone and fruit loaf on the table too! 😋 🤔Verdict? This place is lovely, and one where I would totally visit again! The service is a tad slow as they were busy when we visited, but apart from that - it's great!!! #SoniPandaEats

Great bacon sandwich but have a tendency to get orders wrong

I’ve visited Pennbury Farm on numerous occasions in the four years they have been open. Today being my most recent visit. I’ve usually always been happy with the food and the service. It’s one of my go-to spots for brekkie when I’m in the area. Like everywhere, prices are going up and portions seem to be shrinking. But at the current price point I still think their breakfasts are worth it. You can just tell that they use quality produce. And they make a good cup of coffee, too. I can’t say what their lunch offerings are like. But if you’re looking for a relaxing place to go for a decent breakfast, I’d recommend a visit.

I had my baby shower in the loft at pennbury farm. The staff were so accommodating from the first email I sent enquiring about the date and were always able to answer any questions I had. The venue was beautiful and was completely separate from the main restaurant with own toilet etc. The afternoon tea was delicious and plentiful! I had so many compliments about what a beautiful choice of venue it was!

Well what can I say?? My daughters baby shower this afternoon, the hottest day of the year!! Afternoon tea for nearly 20 of us....all served exquisitely, delicious sandwiches, scones and cakes, good filter coffee, and tea, and plenty of iced water...we didn't have to ask for a thing. Attentive, kind n helpful staff....it was simply a beautiful afternoon. Thank you all

Great place with great food - especially the breakfast. The only downside (big one) is not allowing dogs in. Being in the middle of a countryside with a farm shop that welcome dogs and with an actual dog shop it doesn’t make any sense….if you’re thinking you take your dog and eat or drink outside forget about it as wasps will make it impossible….

Beautiful green saroundings with a few free friendly chickens and some lovely pigs in an enclosure. Plenty of free parking and a couple of cute little shops if you feel like browsing. A family friendly café with plenty of options on the menu. Slightly overpriced and yet quite popular. Unfortunately it closes at 5.00pm.

A wonderful breakfast, with great service. I visited with my family and had one of the best breakfasts I have had out, in the past few years. Really lovely food, and great service. Reasonably priced, and a lovely environment.

Overpriced. Have to queue up to order and pay like in Sainsburys cafe (for £45 for 3 lunches they could do table service at least). Unlike Sainsburys cafe, no straws, no pesto, no pasta. Meals (3 different dishes) were mainly tomatoes and rocket. Drinks came in jars with no straws, £4.20 to drink a smoothie out top of a jam jar! Staff look miserable.

Fantastic coffee shop with a good menu offering various breakfasts lunches and snacks. We had the Penbury Cream tea, best scone ever and a great cup of tea. Nice shops too, well worth a visit.
