My sons Birthday meal, welcomed and great service, greeted by a gentleman by the name of Isfak, didnt have to wait that long, food came out and instructions given, also complimentary cheese cake given to my son, which was a lovely gesture. Top man Isfak compliment to the established, need a pay rise.

Very welcoming and lovely service given by the waiter. He was nice enough ti swap mussels with corn on the cob instead which was so nice. The food is such a reasonable price and it tasted amazing. Will definitely come back to try the cajun boil next time.

Service and ambience is good- order via a qr code. We got the fried seafood plate and the boil. All was good and ranch as well as mayo was nice. Fries were also good. Reasonably priced too at £40 for two.

Went for my mum’s birthday and the food and service was excellent. Ibrahim our waiter was a g and was very attentive. Made sure we had a great time. Bucket pouring 10/10.

The worst seafood boil we ever had. My partner and I decided to surprise my French friend (who was on holiday here) to a seafood boil as had never been. We had to count our shrimps. 4 were missing in each bowls. The meat on the lobster tails was nonexistent. The potatoes were half cooked. No flavour in the boil. When we addressed our concerns, we were met with rudeness and concerning attitude from the waitress. We have sent a lengthy email. We won’t be returning back.

The food especially the seafood boil is super delicious. The service from the crew/staff at the Pelican State Brunswick is beyond amazing. They catered to my simple request of having a s.all cake and candle to celebrate my daughter's 17th bday and without hesitation they granted my request. Right, I don’t understand the great reviews for this place. The service was ok, the chap showed interest and gave good recommendations. The food however, was really not great at all. Avoid the snow crab because the is NO meat on it. I think it’s just for decoration. The prawns were just prawns and a no need to peel. Lobster, had no taste of lobster. I could taste the grill and hardly any lobster. It tasted like the lobster I buy at Lidl’s for a tena. They charges £24 for this alone. The few bits of fried fish was ok but I would expect more as this is a sea food place. The fish burger looked nice not grat in taste. For a £15 burger, I would expect a lot more. We also had the super spicy sauce which was really nice. We had some potatoes and Cajun fries which were also nice. We spent around £80 with a glass of wine and small beer. I found this restaurant from a YouTube feed, second now, which I have tried found disappointing and out of money. Would I recommend? Unfortunately NO.

We came in yesterday lunchtime with a party of 7 adults. We ordered a lot of food and drinks as it was a birthday celebration. The food was great.We ordered extra bread as there wasn’t enough for all of us to mop the lovely sauce from the boil trays. We could see the bread sitting on the counter for a good 10 minutes before we got up and got it ourselves. Your server didn’t seem she wanted to work. So unfriendly and miserable!! We expected at least some smiles and effort to engage with the customers especially if we are paying service charges as well! Your staff need more hospitality training.

Unfortunately the place is a total wreck. The 2 servers and the barman looks exausted and smiling is apparently an optional. Cutlery are dirty, tables sticky. Even tho the restaurant wasn't busy, they tell you to order via QR and after they serve you, good luck catching them again. Thr food was not good. We choose the 99£ boil and added some extra. Unfortunately the fish is not cooked in the sauce but probably boiled in salty water and kept aside for service. Once ordered they quickly toss it in the sauce and serve it. Our boil had snow crab which was cold, lobster thag was stale and squid that you could use as rubber bands. Sauce was bland and sad. And the garlic baguette are just 2 pieces of undercooked chewy bread with a thin layer of butter. Very disappointed and definitely not going to come back unless something drastically changes

I was craving seafood when this restaurant came up on my newsfeed. It's located close to Russell Square underground station but is a 15 mins walk from King's Cross station. Also a quick ride from Waterloo. Located inside Brunswick Centre, it's one among many restaurants. The decor is suitable for a seafood restaurant and when we visited there was lots of seating available. But I noticed it getting busier later in the evening. The menu was quick to browse and I immediately decided to order the crispy seafood platter. 1 platter costs £15.47 and comes with prawn, mussels, fish, squid rings. The quantity is enough for 1 person. Service was swift and the food was DELICIOUS! The items were crispy and crunchy and I loved it. Highly recommend this place!

Food is nice but just a shame you can't use the outdoor seating area on a hot day as theres food delivery people using all of the seating area outside.

Louisana seafood and corn was very good

Im a very unsatisfied customer, I’m not happy at the fact that I drove from far away to try the food however I got to the shop at 22:00pm ,and I was told that the kitchen was closed . How can it say it closes at 23:00pm but get refused service…it really upset me. Cleaning should start a hour before closing however not the food, that shouldn’t be cut off a hour before closing

The food was a little disappointing. The fried platter was very filling and a little too dry, the boil did not look like advertised and the piña colada was underwhelming. I'm disappointing at what I spent for my meal. The best dish was the cajun fries. The mac n cheese had to be returned, as we didn't like the taste very much. The host and hostess were great though!

Nothing like what you see on social media , meaning the US version .mainly potatoes in there , baguette is only 3 small size garlic bread considering u pay £99.00 for 2/3 people . Absolute waste of money n time . Staff not welcoming at all . 👎not coming back for sure

Ordered the daily signature catch, which was supposed to include calamari, mussels, prawns, a lobster tail, potatoes and corn on cob - the dish came with 2 missing items which are the lobster and corn. I'm not sure how the kitchen could overlook them, but overall, the food was OK. The sauce was nice, though. Service was minimal and not much of an atmosphere. Overall, the place was overrated. I don't think I will be going back anytime soon.

The Daily catch boil was delicious.. the VOODOO sauce was amazing! The chicken burger was average and way overpriced Loaded fries were good too Clean, friendly restaurant/staff Wanted to try the whole lobster but we were told they no longer serve it (unsure why)

Tried the big catch deal £99 with Cajun sauce for serving 2-3, the seafood was alright, the garlic bread was very soft and soggy. Placed an order using the contactless method, which, according to their poster, would not incur any service charge. However, the online bill I paid included a service fee automatically! It’s a shame that maybe due to we ordered contactlessly, staff did not bother to serve our table much, no bibs were provided. Overall it was a disappointing experience.

The waitress that was there this afternoon was really rude and moody and very unwelcoming. There was no one by the door that greeted us and showed us to our table even though the restaurant was empty, we just went in and was standing there like idiots waiting to be seated. They stopped serving a dish but kept it on the menu. Ordering website didn't work on iPhones. Finally ordered something else then the appetizer took more than 30 minutes to be served, AFTER one or our entrees. Serving size was tiny. Also had to ask twice for tap water and no staff ever walks by.

I want to start with the fact that I never write reviews. However, I feel violated solely down to the quality of the frozen food. The “restaurant” is on par with Wetherspoons, which is fine if you are a Wetherspoons fan. My friend recommended this place, although I didn’t know then that he had never had a plate, let alone a bite, at this establishment. If we weren’t so close, our friendship would be in jeopardy. The Voodoo sauce was supposed to be spicy but was more akin to a Caesar dressing. Boiling potatoes isn’t rocket science, so they should ensure they are cooked thoroughly. The corn on the cob was like mushy peas. In a nutshell, if you like Iceland and frozen food, then this is your place!

We went yesterday 20/04/2024 around 5pm we been greeted nicely service is very good we order seafood boil king menu. It was the worst sea food we ate in a restaurant. The sea food is not fresh. Prawn is like the frozen as it has no head or shell. The crab is not fresh as it has an after taste and same with the lobster not fresh. The mussels is ok. We love eating seafood and we know when it is fresh. Compare to angry crab restaurant they serve fresh sea food. But my colleague enjoy the burgers. Bake mac is not that good the kids never hardly touch it. Over all. Seafood is not fresh or its bad sea food.

My first time to this branch which was nicer than Baker Street. More spacious, nicer atmosphere and better service. Food was delicious. I had the grilled seafood plate which comes with a choice of dip. Well presented, tasty and so good! Right amount of flavouring. There are many choices on the menu but this is a place for seafood lovers. Don't worry about messy hands, they give you plastic gloves which are very handy. Service was attentive and friendly. Clean. Not too pricey. Portion was big and satisfying.

We tried the lunch deal for 12.95pounds and some sides. We chose the crispy fried lunch platter, Chicken wings in voodoo sauce and some sweet potato fries. Food was good and not oily. Sea food was not overcooked or anything. Personally I would have preferred something spicier. Quantity provided was good and service was also prompt. They have nice seating options (both inside and outside the store). They give you the option to order via the QR code or from the counter.

The cajunn seafood boil was not worth it at all. But would not recommend for a seafood boil option. Preferred the pelican fish burger and the po boy burger.

We tried the - 🐠 Large crispy seafood plate 🦞 Creole grilled lobster tail 🍠 Sweet potato fries 🧀 Mac’n’Cheese 😋 The food was super tasty but the only negative we had was that the lobster tail was overcooked - so it was rubbery and dry. 🦐 We are definitely going to visit again as we regret not trying the seafood broil.

I usually come to this branch but I was not happy with service I received yesterday. We were served the wrong food initially and had not been asked about our orders. We had to mention that the food was not ours. the food was removed and then given to original person who ordered. Not very professional I’d say. Secondly the staff seemed under pressure not able to deal with the rush hour and this resulted in a rude tone. I recommended this restaurant to my friends but was disappointed with the service I had bragged about. Otherwise the food is exceptional.

Don’t bother. The seafood boil is plain boiled food with the sauce then poured over afterwards. The voodoo sauce was sweet and not spicy at all - bland flavour. The garlic bread was soft and soggy. The beer was warm. On a Sunday afternoon, they had very bad EDM blasting away. The staff are pleasant enough but behave like they really don’t want to be there.

Visited this place and my orders taken by a man who was wearing a hoodie top.very Hygienic uhh? Can you imagine that? Taken wrong orders and not enough to fill up your tummy left still hungry My main course meal swa foods combo was not enough so ordered friend chunky potatoes Teenagers running around, not a peaceful place. Paid around £22 and left still hungry. I would give minus zero if I could. Avoid

Last Friday we had dinner here. We ordered some of the most popular dishes they sell at this place. It was nice. The service was efficient and friendly and the way to order is throughout the QR code.

Severely disappointed in what seems to be a tourist trap. We ordered the boiled seafood with cajun sauce. Everything was overcooked and tasteless. The cajun sauce wasn't cajun and had a weird, not-very-enjoyable flavour and texture. We also ordered the fried seafood and it was rubbery and so, so bland. We couldn't taste any of the herbs and spices. The snow crab was tiny, the lobster was green and, to top it off, my pepsi was warm. We left feeling ripped-off and a bit sick. Now I know why you pay in advance!

Dont bother with their boiled seafood because they taste like plastic and even the skin is already rubbery. The fried seafood is great. The seasoning and sauce are all amazing, shame for the frozen seafood they use in their buckets . Disappointing.
