Peking House in St. Helens

After so many year going there it's turned bad way. After Alan left business food became not very good. Yes you can order online now, but food is not great like use to be. Unfortunately won't come back

Had chicken curry fried rice and chips today it was awful won’t be ordering from here again

Always get nice food from here. Good portion sizes, good service and delivery is usually very fast.

The best Chinese takeaway bar none. We’ve not used Peking house for a while and tonight we wasn’t disappointed, the food arrived on time, piping hot and was cooked to perfection. We’ll be using them again and we highly recommended Peking House Earlestown. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Orange chicken was delicious, fried rice was really good. Chips were a tad plain and greasy. Would order again.

Quite large portions, got 2 meals between 3 of us and there was plenty left. Perfect mix of flavours, great value for money. Only a 5 minute wait while it was freshly cooked. Highly recommended

Not sure why they have a menu, they send you whatever they choose. On more than 1 occasion. So if you like to take potluck with your overpriced takeaway ….

This is the worst Chinese I have ever had. Soup was like glue, dried noodles were uncooked, chow mein was dry and bland. This has truly ruined my Sunday night

This is a negative review not a 1 star Horrific customer service and food. Called to explain large bones had been found in the my delivery and they asked me to return the food to the shop myself as the delivery driver was busy, no apology and wouldn’t offer a refund. Never ever using these again! I wish I could share the size of the bone, it was the size of a 5p-20p

Oh my word - one of the most dire Chinese takeaways we've ever eaten!! Arrived super quick however 🤢🤢🤢 the four of us put most of it in the grey food bin! It was absolutely terrible - the soup stood up on its own - the rice was that stodgy and thick and sludgy it wouldn't come off a spoon - and the king prawns had soft cold wet bits on the middle - totally barely edible. Would never use again nor recommended.

Really disappointed - square frozen pre formed cubes of chicken (with whatever else in - luckily the dog enjoyed them!) Semi warm greasy chow mein - and the rice was pretty inedible. Wouldn't recommend.

Probably the worst Chinese I’ve ever ordered from. I would give it 0 starts if I could. The food was disgusting and it tasted like it had gone off. We all ended up throwing the food in the bin. Never again!!!

Sorry Alan is retiring, just ordered our last meal from there the first was in 1998 n taste like it did then loverly! Someone buy it but it will never be the same!

Visited for the first time last night and it didn't disappoint. Been looking for a new Chinese takeaway for some time now and I will definitely be returning to Peking House again 🎎 The portion size are really good and good value for money 💰 We ordered two different Fried Rice dishes and a Curry. The flavours in the food are amazing🥡

Food is always amazing, never had a bad meal from here and I've been eating here for over 23 years. Alan and his family are lovely and always there to help

Just ordered chow mein n crispy chichen salt n pepper omg worst meal i have ever eaten i cant even tell u a tast cus not sure the was one hardly any noddles at all the smallest prawns chewy beef n i cant even talk about the crispy chick beliveve me was not crispy oh i think im gonna be sick, i did feed all the meat to the dog not sure if he even ate it yet! Stay away! 20 pound i will never get back!

What a hidden gem this Chinese is!

Got to be the worst Chinese food I’ve ever not eaten. Total mush in a foil tray. Special fried rice had chopped ham in and nothing that resembled proper meat. All in the bin.

We have been going to Peaking house for over 25 years,they have the nicest food,never had a bad meal ever! Very nice staff,friendly. Cant not rate high enough.

This is the best takeaway in earlestown, ive been coming to this place for 30 years or more and the food is fantastic, alan who serves you is polite and helpful which goes a long way, the outside looks old and outdated but dont let this put you off, must try thanks alan for the service.

Might not look that good but food is fantastic alan the owner is always happy helpful and friendly even if something isnt on the menu he will make it for u I would highly recommend ordering from here

The outside of the restaurant looks rough but don't let that put you off as the good is delicious and the sauce for your meal comes separately so you can decide for yourself how much to put on your meal. The prices are very competitive and service is quick.

This Chinese still has the same decor and family from when I first visited 25 years ago. Food is still superb

been going to peking house for many a year excellent food alan the owner is great the delivery service is always on time would recommend everyone to go will be one very sad customer when alan decides to call it a day and shut shop prices are very reasonable food its very good

Nobody does chop suey rolls like Peking House.
