Not as good as the last time we went there but still good enough just not what they usually offer

Best meal highly recommend here

Can’t usually fault this place but really not good tonight. Gluggy cold chicken, piece of chicken that was half cooked bland spare ribs just awful. You have definitely just lost a customer that would order on a regular basis. Get it sorted

curry sauce about as spicy as milk... honey chilli chicken was just like water.... beef was slimy and so thin. won't order again

The food is amazing, very hot plenty of prawn crackers and delicious food.

We had take out. Mmmhhh very very oily. Not great for price. Delivery driver lovely.

Padded out with lots of veg and not enough meat in the chicken dish. Noth dishes too spicy.

Lemon chicken was far too sweet, tasted like it had artificial sweeteners in it. Beef in oyster sauce was slimy and not great

The soup was the best, the prawn toast was lacking any prawn filling and was basically a fried bread and the bread slices were way too thick. The Lemon chicken was inedible as the lemon sauce was far too sharp and had no sweetness to it at all. Very disappointing.

I usually do not have a fault with this takeaway everything is usually top notch. But tonight special fried rice, Mm more like chicken and a few prawn rice. Lots of tiny little cubes of chicken about 6 little prawns and two bits of very dry chicken breast. No king prawns or beef. Really poor tonight

This is the by far the poorest quality of food I have ordered the beef tasted off and the sauce was nothing like any other Chinese I have ate never again ordering from this takeaway

Top notch from may again and we mixed it up with crispy beef with rice n sauce and even my mum went back for a 2nd plate and she’s picky

When it's good it's brilliant; when it's bad it's really bad. This time it seems deep fried dishes were cooked in old oil that's gone off...

Tasteless food, absolutely awful. More then half ended up in the bin. Beef with bamboo and mushroom had literally only 2 small pieces of mushroom. The worse Chinese we ever had

Tried this as a new place to order from as reviews were good. Ordered chicken fried rice and it ended up in the bucket. It tasted so strongly of something like over used chip oil, it was horrible. The seaweed was the same. A waste of money.

Disappointed. Food quality is VERY average. I ordered Chicken and Lamp Curry, and trust me, I'll never do that again. It was hard to say -is it a Chicken or a lamb one by those tiny slices of something floating in sauce and chopped onion. All other Chinese takeaways in town cook much better than this. :(

It's a shame they're not online more often because the quality is head and shoulders above everyone else.

Food is disgusting. Ordered here by mistake as I have previously had poor quality and tasting food from here. I have taken a note so I don’t order it again. Don’t know if it is the same owners as the ones on Granton Road next to Lidl as this one is very similar quality and nearby. Won’t be ordering again. Questionable meat and chips that look like reheated (black) frozen fries.

I’m so fed up with order takeaways and being let down by the quality of the food. Had the special chow main, nothing special about it. Hardly any meat. And really didn’t taste good at all. Called restaurant, no refund offered. No apologies Nothing to rectify my complaint Guess they have my money now. Daylight robbery Shocking service

Chips were cooked then clearly recooked again and again... onions in the noodles were burnt, then in turn made the whole dish taste burnt... usually the foods lovely but this time it wasnt presentable for an animal never mind a person...

I’m writing this as I eat because it’s that good. Food is great, cheap and came very quickly. The delivery driver was very friendly also.

Chefs seem to rotate regularly but always guaranteed good sized portions. Can also qualify for 'freebies'. English spoken here.

We love Peking Garden. By FAR the best Chinese takeaway in Edinburgh. The food is excellent quality, freshly made. The chicken is always tender and everything is piping hot every time. Will probably order every weekend! Pray for my waistline haha!

Salt and chilli chicken was a bit crispy ☹️ and salt an chilli chips were good but to finish them off would be to have them with the veg that u get in salt & chill chicken 👌👌

First time trying Peking Garden and was very impressed. Food tasted fresh and was quite warm on arrival.

Too much soy sauce on fried rice

Delivery on time, food wasnt that hot and came with wrong sauce and some of the food was still hard not cooked. Won't be ordering from here again.

Had a takeaway curry last night it was totally disgusting fell ill this morning had to go to hospital food posion I got from the Chinese this place should be closed down dirty kitchen food is not fresh meat they cook from frozen food chicken and beef are frozen not great at all avoid this place or you will get seriously ill with the food

I have to balance this review. My food and my daughters were lovely and we both enjoyed them. My wife had chicken curry and I have no idea what the extremely white ‘meat’ was but it tasted nothing like chicken. When we called to complain, they missed an item too, they explained that we should have ordered chicken breast which was next to it in the menu (10p extra). They agreed to send us out a replacement, the delivery was very fast. Unfortunately the replacement wasn’t much better than the first. At least they tried.

The mix starter was good as was the smoked shredded chicken. Almost now squid in my squid with ginger and spring onion so I won't recommend that to anyone.

Honestly the food was the up there with the worst chinese take away ive had. Honey and chilly squid & chicken satay dishes were horrible. Watery flavours and tasted like a freezer. Would never order from here again. Not a chance
