Great food. I love their tofu dishes and crispy noodles. Wish there was a bit more egg in the egg fried rice but everything else was lovely.

Ordered our normal order from here £35.90 and never had a problem until today. Ordered the crispy chilli beef- smelt abit off when I opened it but didn’t think anything of it as this has happened before and it’s been fine. Put it on our dinner and took 1 bite to then be heaving and throwing my guts up! Rang the Chinese and they said they can only refund me for the crispy chilli beef which I thought was ridiculous. Never will I order from this takeaway again! Never felt so ill.

Order was wrong... Chow mein was the worst I've ever eaten....overcooked and chicken looked totally disgusting.....

Used to be consistently good here but the meal tonight was shocking. Burnt spring rolls, noodles tasted strange and the crispy beef was way below average. Last time I'm eating from here.

Special udon noodles - lacking in the amount of meat, prawns and flavour , was all Noodle and onion and very bland, They also charge you for a bag without informing you of this anywhere on their menus and takeaway, staff had no interest in listening and had to prove lack of meat and prawns even though the takeaway was closed

Ordered food at 18:09, given a predicted delivery of 19:09. Called 19:14, told they were busy and it would be another half hour. I waited until 19:55, told it was out for delivery, food arrived 25 minutes later at 20:20 and was luke warm. First and last time I eat from here.

My friends & I haven’t had a Chinese Takeaway for quite some time, but decided to order one from The Riverbank in Ilchester. Well, we were very pleased with our food as it was tasty & cooked to perfection. The prawn balls were some of the very best I have ever tasted. We’ve already decided we’ll be ordering from The Riverbank again very soon. Thank you to all the staff there!

absolute rubbish I thought MSG was banned...obviously not in this place. The chicken curry was disgusting

I placed our order at 5.15pm and asked for delivery at 7.15pm. Order eventually arrived at 7.45pm. Quality of food has gone down hill since last time we ordered - the sweet and sour chicken was full of tough chicken and huge chunks of green pepper and pineapple swamped in sweet and sour sauce. The beef and tomatoes was similar and to add insult to injury the Singapore Rice looked like - well I will not say! I lived in Singapore for three years and Singapore Rice is not like that. Sorry, the food used to be good from there, but will not be going back now

My son ordered at 6pm , delivery arrived at 8.40pm, part of order missing, food very disappointing & not hot, not worth the money, won't be ordering there again

This place does amazing food, the staff are lovely and although there are only two of them in the kitchen they do an amazing job of keeping up with orders!

This is the worst Chinese in England I can’t believe this place hasn’t been shut down even the dog just refused to eat it please stay away from it

Very disappointing. After being told they were very busy and agreeing to wait for hour & half for food, it arrived without part of my order. After phoning up and asking for my order to be corrected the reply was they tried to call me to explain the rice would be half an hour longer (i had no missed calls on my phone) or I can come and collect it, or they will knock it off next order. The whole reason I ordered delivery is I have young children in bed so I couldn’t collect. I paid for food I didn’t get and a delivery fee. They weren’t prepared to rectify unless I went to collect. No refund offered either. Very poor service. Interesting thing is after saying they will send me free rice on my next order/delivery to compensate for missing it on last order they now tell me they are not delivering right now (to me)!! Lies.

It took 3.5 hours for our food to arrive, will not order from here again.

Was told delivery would be over one hour , was then told would have to wait probably another half hour. Unreliable, food when waited over two hours in the past has been on the bottom end of the scale when ordering Chinese food. Won’t be using again.

First time I've used this takeaway and was a little disappointed. I got home to find that the mushroom noodles I had ordered was prawn instead and there was not much taste to any of the dishes.

This is a really good Chinese takeaway. The food has always been very tasty. Not too much of a drive from Yeovil either and definitely worth a try

Absolutely beautiful Chinese food, so many dishes available, I'd recommend the honey garlic crispy chicken! Delivery is also available to Somerton 😍 many previous orders and many more to come!

Lovely food, very fast and can deliver

Ordering system is really easy, food was great (best Chinese I’ve had in a while) and it turned up really quickly. Ordered the set menu and would happily have it again - yummy grub!

Purchased chicken fried rice and a curry sauce this evening. Not impressed at all, chicken was very dry and tasted old and the rice was dry also. For the price £8.30 it was not worth it!

I ordered chicken curry, egg fried rice and prawn crackers. The chicken curry was mostly onion and pea curry and it was very bland. The egg fried rice was dry. At £10.10 I thought it was quite expensive. Would not recommend.

One of the worst takeaways I have experienced. Food missing on delivery, chicken not cooked properly, rice and veg was very dry. Plus the fact its a £20 minimum with £4 delivery charge for food i wouldnt give to the dog. Was declined a refund or resolution will definitely not be using again

It was awful a couple of years ago, and still is!

So disappointing. Squid hard and disgusting, tofu just revolting - both inedible. The ‘mixed veg’ consisted of 90% (to be generous) onion and a little very grey & mushy broccoli. I can’t recommend them at all.

Good food, but very busy so had a long wait for it.

Had a lovely meal on friday night. The Chicken Fu yung was gorgeous, the Beef with ginger and spring onions was lovely but the chips.........dreadful. We ordered delivery and they were bang on time, the only thing was the chips. Please fresh, softer ones next time.

I was concerned when I first used this restaurant because of the previous health advice but it looked OK from the outside so I thought Id try it the once. I found the staff to be helpful, The portions were large and well cooked, and I could see where the food was being prepared to a limited degree from the front counter. My only complaint I could only buy diet coke when I would have liked Bottled water as a separate choice. Use the take away with confidence.

We live locally and in an ideal world, having a Chinese takeaway nearby would be great! Sadly though, the service is atrocious (try service with a scowl and you'd be on the mark) and the food pretty average. Plus there was the mouse problem. New ownership (apparently, but same staff and menu) has changed nothing.

Amazing tasty food, perfectly seasoned. Very accommodating regarding allergies. Have used many times and never had any issues. Bonus of ordering online and paying via card or PayPal meaning no rushing to cashpoint to pay on delivery. Excellent delivery service usually quicker than expected. Very polite and brilliantcustomer service

Dreadful!!! Used to love this take away and highly rate it but recently it's gone down hill. Attended and the foyer was a literal construction site yet they were still open for business, twice in as many weeks they have got my order wrong!!! If the person taking the order can't understand what the customer wants then maybe a staff change is needed?? (Same member took my order) I'll not use this take away agin until I hear changes have been made.

Love this chinese, only ever had 1 fault apart from that food tastes great.

Just like every Chinese takeaway , the BBQ Ribs are tasteless , and stale. BBQ Ribs are from last month. They reheated them. And Customer services is pathetic !
