Well for the first time in a long time a fast food restaurant, that is fast food. We ordered and within under 5 minutes the food was in our hands, hot and lovely. Restaurant very clean and toilets clean. Staff friendly and cleaning tables as well. Well done, nice to see a restaurant for the first time that is clean, and fast hot food. Staff where also drive though.

This is the worst KFC I've had. Ordered a family boneless meal for our family and the chicken was too chewy to eat..I don't know if they're cooking it for too long or re-frying old chicken but it was an awful rubbery texture.. The corn on the cobs were not cooked long enough as they were not really edible. I wouldn't eat here again.

Visited yesterday. Couldn't find out to buy from the menu. Cashier help us really well by giving a solid Deals. Really a good place to take break from A303. All the staffs are really friendly. Cheers to all

Very much satisfied with their service. They have improved themselves in couple of months which is remarkable. Now they need to start Delivery Service.

My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined! I placed an order for 3 Vegan Burgers and chips via the KFC app. I arrived at the closed up and dirty drive-through hatch with my order number in hand to be told that they don't do Vegan Burgers at that store.

Service is just slow takes over 30mins for a simple popcorn meal. But they clear the order screens to fake the order completion times.

Didn't have many of the sides, didn't even offer to swap one large beans for two small like every other KFC would. Staff making the best of a badly run KFC. Ask for a mini fillet burger with normal mayo, was given a mini fillet strip instead. Would not be going back to be honest.

the last few times i have been into KFC wincanton, the staff have treated us very poorly, in particular alex the manager, he was completely unprofessional and rude and has no respect for customers, we were discussing our order and he told us to “not get gobby with me” i am completely shocked by this and will not be coming back again.

Quick drive through for a family meal

Good to see those smiling faces whenever I have visited. Feeling amazing to come here again & again . Found very good and clean restaurant. After a hectic day a bucket with KFC chicken… can’t express. Love this place

Long wait in car. From drive thru.....when finally got my food chips were hot. Chicken was cold....and the smallest corn on the cobb I've ever seen...if I wasnt driving away..it would gone bk over the counter what a joke...

Never had an issue here. The staff seem to be having to fight against the awful system they've been made to have. Good to see smiling faces and great service regardless. 10/10 staff

No self service kiosks so you have to wait for someone to notice you before getting served. Door was filthy but food was ok.

Decent KFC but "management" have decided not to serve hot drinks which seems ridiculous. Still no tea and the fries are horrible.

It was so busy just wait 10 minutes which I think fair. But my child went crazy after getting the food. Very good taste so far. Very big space they have. If you are using A303 this is the best place to spend. Speed of service Very good. Menu, i guess Little bit expensive.

Wouldn’t recommend coming here unless you are ok with food that is stored in hot cupboards, not fresh, fries that are lukewarm, nothing is simple it’s always problematic and staff lack knowledge and customer service skills. And worst of all, you do not want to look out when you’re trying to enjoy your food and see rats roaming around. Serious pest control is required - may be something staff need to inform management of. I can’t believe they won’t have noticed rats around the restaurant before. Very off putting altogether!

Don’t deserve any stars at all. Partner has been very ill for the last 11 days with campylobacter from eating a zinger trilogy box meal. Will never be eating here again. theyve not provided service they should have. had it been one of my children that had eaten it they could have become seriously unwell and that the campylobacter infection can even cause death in young children. He’s had to provide stool sample and that has shown a positive result of campylobacter

Food if they have it was rubbish!! Cold even after waiting for it. Got told management had forgotten to order certain items. Although we were the only 4 in the party we had to wait a long time.

Just been here today the place was empty which should have been a red flag. Ordered our food and told that my wife's choice would be another 5 or 6 minutes . After double thst amount of time we approached the counter to ask where our food was wife's meal arrived, my meal however was retrieved from under a heat lamp where it had been sitting since our meal was first ordered. I said I am not wanting that meal it's been sat there the whole time we have been waiting , so the girl disappeared around the back and came back with what she claimed was a fresh meal for me. I opened the box to find 3 pieces of chicken 2 of which were dried up and inedible, I skimpy bag of chips and a box pop corn chicken and a like warm portion of coleslaw, probably the same one that had been put in the box I seen being made up when our order was placed. Took the food back and demanded a refund , absolutely shocking and the place was not clean crumbs from previous visitors still on the floor and on some tables even though the restaurant was completely empty . All the staff stood out the back doing god knows what but it wasn't anything to do with providing good food or good service. I would strongly recommend giving this place a very wide birth .

Not good at all, really old chicken served all the time!!! Even when required fresh and the staff agree they still serve the old chicken. This restaurant isn’t busy enough to store cooked food!!! This has been going on since the restaurant opened I’m live locally. Advise to people pick another restaurant. This restaurant needs to shut down or staff being retrained how to serve fresh food!!!! Wouldn’t feed it to My dogs!!!!

The eating experience was so good, with many yummy foods that made the taste in mouth very happy. The help was very good, quick and efficient, making sure everyone had a good time. The journey to KFC was fantastic. The staff members were exceptionally pleasant and courteous. There seems to be some turnover as I noticed a few new faces. I definitely plan to visit again and highly recommend it.

Found an employee’s hair fried into my chicken fillets. My name is Hugh Fryer and I am very upset.

Service was good and fast. Fried Chicken was great.

It's a KFC so there's no atmosphere the food was really hot, it hadn't been sitting under the lights for ages. The site looked a bit drab but what do you expect?

We went to the drive through on the way home from a long day out. They took our order and we paid by card. They then said it would be a 20 minute wait. 'No thanks', we said, 'we'd like to cancel'. 'To get your money back you have to go to the KFC website', they said. Apparently they can't do a point of sale refund if an order is cancelled. How ridiculous. We contacted KFC through the website and their response was, 'here is a 10 pound off voucher, we are very sorry', but no refund. We replied and asked for the refund again for the food we didn't have, no response. We called the card company and after almost an hour of explaining they arranged a chargeback, that KFC didn't dispute. It took 3 weeks and more than an hour of our time to get our money back. What we learned, 1. don't go to Wincanton KFC anymore, 2. whatever KFC you go to, pay in cash.

Visiting today on the way to collect a client, I stopped here and was given the best service I've ever had from a KFC, the girl serving me was very polite and happy. Amazing!

Dirtiest KFC I’ve ever been too. There wasn’t one table clean although the restaurant was empty. The fire alarm kept going off all the time. Absolutely disgraceful, food was average.

I thought it had shutdown no customers as I just watched and i came to the conclusion that this place is iffy the people who should be working here are just hiding and mess about do no work bathrooms are unclean.

This store went from being the worst to a very nice store to eat at the new manager rakib was so helpfull and the store is now very clean and tidy the staff also talk to you better now and Present themselves better will now be visiting this store more often

After waiting 30 minutes for a drive through which is supposedly fast food 🤔, ordered the food and although provided quickly... Unfortunately when I got home, 2 major components were missing and although I questioned the server, they said of course everything was included.... Poor service

Terrible experience ordered on the app, on arrival they did not have vegan burgers available and unable to issue refund. Were then told it would be 20 mins until order would be ready, but they could give us half the order immediately. We said we would wait as did not want half the order to be cold when they were able to complete the order. Avoid

The tables and floors were dirty (spilled food on floor,spilled drinks on tables) Staff not very customer friendly

How slow do they want to be to take an order. Stood in a queue of 2 for around 10 to 15 mins before could order. No self service order kiosks. Needs a refurb.

Nice quiet KFC outlet. Quick service and tasty food. Easy to get to off the A303.

Not sure why this place is the way it is, the food doesn’t seem the same as other KFC’s chicken tonight was I think over cooked as the coating was dark and very dry maybe it was an old bit left over not sure but really not as good as I’ve had in other outlets

Staff let the place down massively. Always seem to have their phones with them which is unhygienic, wear fake nails, hair not tied back properly. On top of that, quite a lot of them won't give the basics like napkins, cutlery, seasonings.. nor offer it. Only upside is that the food is relatively fresh when you get it.

Actually quite good. Visited the Mcds on the same sight last time and was so disappointed I vowed never to set foot in there again, so KFC it was.

It's such a shame. I used to enjoy popping to KFC for a sneaky quick nibble. Not any more. Not this one. It's almost like a dying beast waiting to be put out of its misery. The carpark is a mess. The inside is a dive and the food is either, always overcooked or cold. Save your money.

Worst KFC experience by far! 1 drive thru window doing orders, payment and delivering food. Waiting ages to place the order. Was then told to park up as it would take 6 minutes to cook. 20 minutes later still nothing. The place had then closed so we couldn’t even go in and ask! Honestly, avoid this place as much as you can. The staff had no care in the world. Taking this further to head office for sure.

So slow, It took 5 minutes before anyone came to serve me. There was probably 2 people waiting for orders aswell as myself and must have taken 15 mins food was only just warm so it's not like they were cooking it fresh. Worst kfc I've been to

We walked in waited 15 minutes only to be told it had already been the last order- at 9pm! I understand and appreciate that the workers are on minimum wage but they didn’t appear to want to serve us any food. I asked myself what business are they running and later on realised they are not running a business at all. Went to McDonald’s which is ironic that you have the least efficient and the most efficient businesses right next to each other.

Although the staff tried to help me obtain the NHS Staff blue light discount, the KFC App didn't load ( this being the second time its happened within a KFC branch yet the KFC website states ( show your Blue Light Card, so: their website content is out of date! and they would not accept my NHS staff badge and blue light card as eligable proof so I paid the normal amount. I have historically been brought up to enjoy KFC since the afe of 10 in Anerica' where I furst sampled it in ( Kansas) many yeras ago. No point crying over 85p against an overpriced £8.45 for four very small chicken pieces ( 3 legs and one tiny chicken breast). Perhaps they gave me the smallest chicken pieces as I was perceived as a difficult customer ?! The chips had skin on tasted OK but were soggy and a tiny portion. I was still hungry afterwards. Terrible value in my humble opinion, avoid if you want a filling meal. The drink was a standard diet coke that can't be messed up. I will not revisit KFC Wincanton ever again nor should you! I hope they cease trading and hand over their franchise to a different crew?

Worst kfc I ever been too. An I have been too many. I have been here 3 times. Once I was told they had no gravy. An no super charger sauce. That’s forgivable. What’s not is all 3 times have given me a really bad stomach. I advise you not too, unless your 5 ft from the toilet don’t go chickens always dry like it’s been sat for a long time. Avoid

Either lack of staff, bad management, had to wait over 20 minutes to food. Building is in disrepair making orders difficult to give. Reasonable food although slightly cold. Staff pleasant considering poor working environment.

Absolutely disgusting. Waited over and hour and hour for our food which was left on the side. They had no food no drinks etc. Only 3 members of staff were on and all 3 went outside to have a cigarette whilst we were waiting for our food. They were all rude and the language was absolutely disgusting. Got a full refund. They locked us in and told us to leave through fire exit. Won't be going back there again
