Really run of the mill. Nothing exciting & food only edible if you’re on your way home from a pissup. Chilli beef with no beef was an eye-opener

A little over priced but definitely would eat there again. The food was great quality and lovely selection Food was ready on time for collection

Hubby and I ordered a takeaway, the first from this eaterie, the food was superb, still warm, generous portions, excellent value for money, and it didn't upset Hubby's tummy, like other local Chinese takeaways have....we will definitely use this one from now on, when we want a Chinese takeaway.

My meal should have cost £17.90 + £3 delivery and I was told it would be £19.90 + £3 delivery even though I only asked for a half portion is Singapore noodles

First time I have used perking chef, food was fantastic, very quickly prepared and hot. Great quality and good size dishes. Will use everytime from now on, best chinese in Witham.

Me as the bestie and are 2 teen daughter had a evening of giggles and food as always the food from woken chef is spot on, it oils to eat from another Chinese by far this is the best Chinese and I’ve used them for years wouldn’t go else where. Thanks for love my food for our girls evening

Can’t complain they always do what they say on the tin so to speak. The only thing that stops a five is sometimes they say 45 minutes for delivery and they arrive within 15 which can be a pain if not everyone has arrived to eat the food but that’s a minor point. Very impressive

I had not tried this one before but after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor decided to give it a go and I have to say I was not disappointed. Excellent food and very friendly staff. Certainly will be using this restaurant takeaway again.

This is simply the best Chinese I've ever had. If I could I would eat it every single day. We only order from here now. Amazing food

The food arrived in 15 minutes (on a Saturday this was superb) and what's more it was fresh, piping hot and incredibly tasty.We made the mistake of ordering from a rival chinese (Lee Garden). After waiting an hour and a half, the food arrived from Lee Garden - cold. We sent it back and ordered from Peking Chef instead. What a relief! It was fast, hot, delicious and well worth the money. I can't praise them enough. A great experience and one which has earned our loyalty and repeat custom.

Delicious food freshly cooked. Never had a bad meal from here and its always hot and very tasty - would recommend the Hong Kong Style Pork!

Peking chef lovely food but beware of constant price rises Especially the unknown delivery charge Don’t get me wrong if it was a small order or miles away fair enough But orders over £40 and in Witham should be free

Wow! Had a takeaway from here last night and we were very impressed. The food was the best chinese we've had in a long time. On the phone the lady was very polite and helpful and the delivery lady was lovely too. £2.50 delivery charge for the driver was not a problem, I always tip them anyway. The food tasted wonderful and it's all cooked freshly to order. These people have got it right. 5 stars from us!

First of all, beware, it's cash only! That said the food is excellent, reasonably priced and produced very quickly, 10 minutes on our last occasion

Love the crispy chicken shwauzan style with rice and seaweed and cashew nuts. Absolutely delicious. Super fast service. Reasonably priced.

Food is consistently good if a little predictable, good value be aware that they do not take card payment.

We ordered from here last night and when it was delivered and they had left we realised they had missed out a dish, we called up immediatly and explained and were told that we were mistaken and it was in the bag, we recalled all food they had given us and agian said they missed a dish, they said it wasnt possible and we were lying!!! So last time we ever order from them! £5 is alot of money for a dish that never turned up! Rude staff.

A lovely Chinese takeaway which is tasty and high quality. The portion sizes are good, prices are a little on the expensive side. Our favourites are the sweet and sour chicken, crispy duck and hot and sour Szechuan soup.

Used to be a nice chinese when it was called Asian Inn but now that it's been taken over by new ownership this Chinese take away really is poor. The prices are expensive and the food is not that nice. They charge you for delivery service regardless of how much you spend and last time we ordered we waited well over an hour for it to turn up and the food wasn't hot.We will not be using this Chinese take away anymore!The clarke family, Witham.

Best chinky in town, very friendly staff and good portion sizes. i will be using again and recommend to all.

A takeaway the actually seems to produce each dish freshly to order, the food here really is superb and plentiful, far better than any other takeaway in town.
