Pegswood Pizzas in Northumberland

Good donner kebabs, not the cheapest, and pointless ordering online to pick up ,as you get charged a service charge, and also are £1 more expensive online?

The food is amazing and the staff are friendly and polite. I order via the app and it is always ready on time.

Atmosphere is good delivery driver is nice and gave me and my mate free chips plus the boss always makes you laugh

Only sampled the pizzas and fish and chips so far, all superb.

the driver was really disrespectful with the way he talked to me, refused to hand the pizzas over until he had the money in his hands, and basically accused me of being a thief i ordered 2 pizzas, a ham & chicken, and a calzone. the first pizza was barely warm and undercooked, the calzone was greasy and over cooked, but at least they arrived on time

We had our second takeaway from Pegswood Pizzas tonight and there'll definitely be a third, and fourth, and more. There was huge quantities of succulent meat, Donner and chicken, respectively, great salads with lots of lovely red cabbage (an absolute must on a kebab), we also ordered extra chips, and they were proper chip shop chips, and again lovely.

Absolutely brilliant service and amazing food, ordered 21 pizzas for a party and they delivered on time with hot food, these guys are awesome highly recommended! Thank you!

Service is quick food is warm and very good and taken care off warns about wet floor and happy hours

Took 2 hours for food to be delivered - despite us ringing multiple times to ask where it was. Would avoid!

False advertising any size pizza for a set price Mon - Thur then charge you for an extra topping. Over charging on the final bill and to add even more insult the pizza was stone cold when my daughter started to eat it 😡😡

Please do not waste your money! Awful pizza hardly no topping. Used to be great takeaway before it was taken over but now its a rip off!

waited a long time to serve me in the shop..too busy with deliveries..very expensive..£11 for a mixed kebab..meat was uncooked salad was not fresh... pitta bread stale..can honestly say worst food I have ever bought..First and last time..give it a miss people

Used pegswood pizza twice in the past 3 weeks and both times the food was really nice especially the mixed grill pizza, very pleasant and helpful young man served me and even brought my food out to me waiting in the car. Well done pegswood pizza, keep it up 👍🏻

Proper let down tonight ordered two 10 inch pizzas with extra toppings that were not on the pizza. I would also like to add that the pizza dough was raw plus the chips were definitely not a large portion. Twenty quid wasted......

Decided to try a pizza shop a bit further away in the hopes of finding better quality, pizza arrived hot and was tasty, cheesy chips tasty but a little underfilled compared to other pizza shops otherwise would have been a 5* review. Delivery was faster than estimated too.

Fish freshly fried to order. Tasted fantastic. Chips done perfect.

Lovely place, lovely food and lovely staff. Emin was giving all kids free 7" pizzas during the holidays. Such a lovely gesture and they were lovely. I rang Emin and pizzas were ready within 5mins. Thankyou Emin.

Ordered fish bites, and the fish seemed bland and was not very fresh tasting and the grease was unbearable and for hours after made me feel sickly. The only thing I liked was the size of the portion, however no wonder! 11th September a friend went into the shop and asked to purchase food and was told "closed" rather rudely. There were a couple of customers stood in the shop who seemed to be a little surprised. There was food in the hot display however the guy who I think was the owner was quite blunt and so we left. Really shocked at the manner and tone of the owner of the pizza shop,definitely would not recommend. Ok,emit is obviously offended by the truth I ordered a few times ,over the phone too and not under any influence, the owner is clearly embarrassed and doesn't know how to get out of this apart from an online slanging match which I am not interested in. If the police had any interest in this matter I am sure it would have been made known to myself. Obviously something hit a chord there emit ay

We've lived all around Northumberland in the past 15 years. BUT- we ALWAYS know that pegswood pizzas, serve some of the best takeaway food of all varieties. And they serve fresh fried potato chips, (instead of the frozen cheap ones) If a chip shop can not put effort or time into peeling a few spuds and uses cheap bulk buy frozen chips, then that shows they are most likely focused on quantity over quality. This place is great for takeaways, great for quality food and they are so friendly and welcoming as soon as you walk in through the door. Amazing service. HIGHLY recommend. And we just hope in the nxt few weeks- when we have settled in to our new property/address that they will do deliverys there. However if they didn't it definitely wouldn't stop us from using pegswood pizzas. Thank you to you all for the years of great food, amazing service and that warm friendly service you never fail to give to all your customers. M&M.

It was fast, it was hot! The free chip shop chips were delightful. However the food itself can only be described as bland. The cheese especially had no taste. I feel the 5 star rating was not a true reflection on this establishment.

Ordered 2 pizzas. The pizza it's self was nice. The stuffed crust let it down. It wasn't mozzarella cheese like i expected it felt like squirty cheese as it coated my mouth. Wasn't the best tbh.

The chip shop hours have recently been extended which is handy, the food is more or less cooked to order even chips. I have had quite a few things from the menu and I have enjoyed them. I would particularly recommend the fish, and or the meal deal which for 1.50 is fab.

Ordered two chicken kebabs and was waiting for them to be cooked. But then I noticed the chef chop up about 15 raw chicken breast and then continue to put the salad onto my bread WITHOUT washing his hands or anything. Absolutely disgracefull. I got my money back and walked out, This place wants shut down until their staff have been put through proper training. Shocking!

Pizza turned up freezing cold, called the shop who were unwilling to take any criticism. Basically they said I was lying. DO NOT USE THIS SHOP ITS A DISGRACE WITH RUDE STAFF. Mamma Mia, Ashington is the way ahead.

Chips are dark brown and the pizza sauce was runny

Used to be great but last 3 times we' ve been have been awful for there chips (obviously reheats) the fish was freshly cooked so was great but the chips n sausage were uneatable ... 3 strikes n you out wont be going back ... not for chips anyway .....
