Pedros Cockermouth in Allerdale

Despite the Latin name, I’d guess that this takeaway is more Turkish in origin than Mexican or Spanish. But that doesn’t matter a jot. What matters is the quality of the food and I must say that our chicken kebab with salad and mixed sauces was fantastic. It was perfectly cooked, substantial and delicious. Service was friendly and quick. This was our first visit here and we will certainly use it again when next in Cockermouth.

Ordered quarterly pound cheeseburger and chips, no salad or sauce very disappointing will not be going back

We rang these guys 20 minutes before closing for a delivery after brewers fayre let us down astronomical. They delivered 10 minutes early and the food was absolutely fantastic. The delivery lady was very friendly and we were over the moon with our meal. Highly recommended and would use again in a heartbeat 👌

Absolute never fails, amazing pizza and kebabs. 10 times better than dominos. We had a dominos last week and Pedros this week and Pedros is was nicer, more topping, fresh, plenty cheese. The thin based pizzas Pedros special we always get love them. Excellent customer service also. Love this place. Best pizzas around fact 🙌🙌🙌

The best kebab I have ever had! Was so fresh and loved having the salad separate. Amazing ham, mushroom and mozzarella pizza also and free juice. Fab value, prompt service and friendly staff. I’d highly recommend. And can’t wait to come back

Ordered a 12" milano pizza, only to discover I was given a rather bland margherita when I got it home. Score may have been better if I'd been given the correct order, but I wasn't for trying again!

Pedí que me dijeran que esperaran 30 minutos, lo cual está bien, tuvo que sonar después de 50 minutos para que se les dijera que la comida se estaba preparando y tardarían 10 minutos. La comida finalmente llegó después de otros 20 minutos, estaba fría como una piedra y claramente se preparó cuando se ordenó una verdadera vergüenza, ya que generalmente es una buena comida para llevar, pero deffo usando alternativas de ahora en adelante

This is the BEST pizza place in town!! Quick delivery, friendly service, lovely herbs and cheese used on the pizzas. We order from them atleast once a week 😂

1st and last time here. Ordered a large kebab in pitta bread with chilli sauce. What i got was a relatively small kebab with a smearing of chilli sauce that was more like paste and not nice. It wasnt cheap either!

Cockermouth has three kebab and pizza takeaway restaurants but this one is still the best, Always welcomed with a warm smile when you enter and the place is nice and clean. Good choice of pizzas and kebabs on show, the chicken special is first class. The only thing that it misses on the menu is the Chicken Donner' ( or is that only found south of Watford ?).

Being an Italian I can say I have been trapped in this place by mistake. Never, never again! I'm astonished they infringe the copywright of my national food making a such bad product!

We ordered a take away and as we took the food out of the bag, a spider crawled out of one on the takeaway boxes and there was another spider in the bag, the pizzas weren't nice and the garlic sauce was surprisingly salty.

Should have gone next door to Chattanooga.... After trying to tell the gentleman my order for the 4th time, his minion procedded to make the order, after much shouting at each other. When the order was apparently complete, i asked if he had put salad in the wrap. I watched him NOT put salad in the wrap. He continued to tell me he had put salad in the wrap. It must have been invisible salad. His minion looked at me dumbfounded after i asked him if he had put salad in the wrap. There was of course no salad in the wrap. Also, the chips were oven chips that had been double fried. Not nice. How many times had they been fried before we got there? Anyway, not recommended.

Standard pizza, burger place. It's open the latest out of the choices in town. Food is good and friendly staff.

Pedros takeaway serves Pizzas and Kebabs, it is a clean and well run take away. All the cooking is carried out in full view of the customer which is unusual for many establishments like this so it is reassuring to see the staff making your meal and how it is handles etc

A high quality kebab and pizza take away. Place is clean and food is great! I would recommend the chicken kebab, or if you are feeling hungry the 'mixed kebab'. Pedros do deliver, if you are feeling lazy! Enjoy!

Decente para llevar, siempre comida recién preparada, mi elección sería la envoltura de pollo. Siempre tienen un montón de personal a ayudar cuando se llena.

Have ordered from here many times and on every occasion has been brilliant, the pizzas are never to greasy and they are always delivered within the window of time given. The chips can sometime be a bit stodgy but I think you get that anywhere.

Good tasty food but last time I have ordered it has been cold and needed heating up at home. Only live 5 minutes away too

We use Pedros whenever we have a take-away meal. The menu is typical of most take-away establishments but we always end up ordering Chicken Wraps with Chilli and Salad. They are reasonably priced and have a full skewer of chicken in each wrap.I usually place the order by telephone and collect from Pedros. I never have to wait more than quarter of an hour from ordering to collection.
