Fabulous food, brilliant service. What a great place. We were only visiting Kendal but would come back just for this place and stay over. Excellent cocktails too. Decor cool, comfy seating, good relaxed, chilled vibe. Definitely my new favourite place. Brilliant waiter, guy with long hair - attentive, funny, really great service.

Really busy on a Monday which says it all. Great food, great service, a wonderful, unpretentious dining experience. Careful with the garlic bread, it’s ENORMOUS.

Awesome food and very friendly welcoming staff. A must for anyone in the local area and visitors! So much choice... We ordered too much because it all sounded so nice... And it was. Take your stretchy pants with you! Ps, cocktails were great too!

In kendal for a short break with the kids, popped in here on the off chance and we were in for such a treat. Honestly amazing food, amazing service and atmosphere. They were great with the kids and it was a really great vibe in there. Would 100% recommend to anyone. The ordering system was really fun too. We are a mix of meat eater, vegetarian, vegan and one very fussy eater. Something for everyone, the brownie kebab (dessert) was a bit of a show stopper.

I went to Pedro’s Casa for dinner with a friend this weekend as I have just moved to the area and was intent on finding the best dining experiences in Kendal. Well what can I say…an amazing meal with super friendly staff. We had 6 dishes off the tapas menu and each one was a delight, I highly recommended the beef burrito and the salt and pepper squid, each dish was an ample portion and beautifully cooked and presented. The wine I had was absolutely delicious too (Chilean Chardonnay) the service and friendliness of the staff was great, nothing was too much trouble for them and the took time in engaging with conversation after our meal. Overall highly recommended and now that I’m a local Kendolian I shall be frequenting Pedros many times in the future.

Brilliant unsuspecting little place indeed. Visiting the Lakes from Cornwall I was unsure where to eat so chose Pedro’s Casa as it ranked number 1 in Kendal. The nachos were world class and easily on a par if not better than any I’ve had in the states across my 13 (and counting) visits there. The chicken and chorizo chaser was nice too and the Cumberland tacos an interesting fusion between British and Mexican cuisine. I would highly recommend Pedro’s Casa to anyone!

Master class from the moment of booking a table to paying. Amazing customer service and professionalism. The food was exceptional 😋 tasty, and lots of it and very good value for money. Great place to have a nice dinner. Good service, friendly staff. The method of the order was explained by a staff member and they gave us advise too how many dishes we should order for 2. We booked our table but i saw they took customers who just walked in. Food was delicious and enough for 2 of us. We ordered 2 main, 1 side and 2 starter and we shared everything.

Six of us, ranging in age from 89 to 10 years ate here tonight. Sensibly priced fresh and tasty food in a nice restaurant with a helpful and efficient front of house team. Varied mexican and Spanish menu, and every dish wàs great, particularly honey BBQ chicken tacos, salt and pepper squid. Top job:)

Just a fantastic vibe, easy ordering, carefully checked over before it went to the kitchen as it was our first time here. Amazing food, good portions and value for money, drinks do come in some cool shapes and sizes! Tried the Chicken Mole, a unique flavour that I loved 🤩. The owners and staff are just awesome people.

What a great evening. Lovely food (can be tricky with tapas but they made sure we didn't order too much). Lovely staff, just so helpful and attentive. Several firsts for me, like the Humitas and Barraquito...both great. I'm not going to give away the surprise of the shots but blooming lovely.

Absolutely amazing in every way! The service was fabulous start to finish and the owner even recommended we didn't order so much due to the size of the portions. Very honest! The prices were extremely reasonable as well. The food was so good we're already trying to book another trip back to Kendal just for it! Fully recommend!

Really lovely place here with great food, great prices and great atmosphere. But what really shone for us was the service. Everyone we interacted with was so genuinely friendly and helpful. To be honest, I don't know how they do it, but they do! As an example, what's very helpful is that rather than let you order too much, they help guide you on the portion sizes. Thoroughly recommend.

We were looking at menus online for a meal next Wednesday as we were due to stay in Kendal on Tuesday night as I had an operation very early on the Wednesday morning but sadly Pedros Casa is closed on Wednesdays. However, their menu looked so amazing, for vegans, we just had to try it anyway. So we made the drive from Morecambe and tried every single vegan item from the “nibbles” and “tapas” menu. The favourites were the padron peppers (potentially better than even Gordon Ramsey Lucky Cat padron option), the sautéed spinach, patatas bravas, humitas, artichoke tapenade, garlic mushrooms and the star of the show; the chickpeas and lentils! Absolutely incredible whole foods food! The owner was so lovely and personable and he couldn’t compliment his chef wife more! Great atmosphere, fantastic food and wonderful staff. Will definitely be back!

This was a fantastic restaurant for dinner, with a unique design including the shapes on ceiling and walls! The menu is provided upon checking in, staff were friendly and seating is comfortable. I enjoyed a Mexicana Pizza with a refreshing coke, served to a clean table!

The people are super friendly and the food is very tasty. Definitely listen when they tell you about portion sizes so you don't end up with too many as some are much bigger than standard tapas (we have ended up with a doggy bag!). Favourite dish was the enchiladas but also tried nachos, padron peppers, mushrooms, artichoke dip, chickpea and lentils and bravas and all were really nice.

Best nachos we have eaten at a restaurant: generous, great ingredients. Ordered more fried spinach. Really good vegetarian options. Fun cocktails and friendly staff.

Found it randomly as we were passing , as we're not from the area and it was the best mexican food we had in a long time. The food is stunning, very fresh with very reasonable prices. Definitely recommend it and will definitely visit again.

Another fantastic evening here (or second visit this year.) Staff are brilliant - friendly and attentive enough to ensure you have a good time without ever being pushy or in your face. Food was wonderful, just like last time, though we were eating with a different set of people who chose very different things to explore off the menu. Cost was about £22/head including pudding and drinks which we consider very reasonable (pie and chips in the pub down the road was £16.95) The best place around and certainly the best value ... it won't be out last visit.

From the minute we walked through the door the service was outstanding. Friendly staff, made great recommendations on drinks and food. The food... I'm lost for words. Everything was cooked to perfection. Portion sizes where perfect. Honestly. Best meal out I've had in years!

We stopped here on the way back from the Lake District for my partner's 30th, first of all, front of house was absolutely amazing, such a warm, welcoming experience, especially the man that explained the menu to us! Food was spectacular, we had a hiccup but was sorted swiftly, cannot fault these guys at all, over the moon with the service and it was a lovely end to our holiday! Hope to come again soon if we are in the area, you guys really have something special there, as fellow business owners, we hope that this economy is treating you well, you deserve all the success you get!!! We ate here last night after reading the amazing reviews, we are so glad we chose here the food was incredible. Huge portions, we had 5 dishes between 2 of us and were so full, even 4 would've been plenty but we loved every single dish. We had spicy beef enchiladas, seafood paella, tex MEX mini burgers, fish burrito, honey BBQ chicken tacos - every dish the flavours were beautiful. We were so impressed, amazing value for money too not too expensive and portion sizes were great! We can't wait to come back. The waitress was very helpful and attentive, she reccomended the spicy beef enchiladas and I'm very glad she did 😄 my only comment would be we had the sharing pitcher tropical margarita which said it was mango puree pineapple juice and lemonade, no orange juice, but unfortunately it just tasted like fizzy orange juice (I don't like orange juice) couldn't taste any pineapple or mango flavours which are my favourite so a bit disappointed in that. To be fair I didn't mention this and drank some of it anyway as it was a small issue that was just me being fussy and it didn't take away from the amazing meal we had anyway, just thought I'd mention it for future. Overall 5/5, beautiful food, excellent service. Can't wait to return ☺️

We went for a family meal. The service was great. Lots of choice and the food was really tasty Mexican tapas. They catered for vegetarian/ vegans and took special attention to allegens. It was really easy to order lots but the staff were good at advising on what was too much. Really friendly place. Great night out.

Delicious food, waitress was extremely helpful and nice. In and out in one hour was perfect.

We were a party of 7 including kids and a real pain in the bum with our dietary requirements as some of us are gluten free, others dairy free, some are both and some just regular folk. However the menu had lots of options to satisfy all of us. And everything was absolutely delicious. Staff were super friendly and overall atmosphere was very nice, so 5 out of 5 from us! Just keep in mind that some of the dishes are much bigger than regular tapas, we couldn’t eat it all and some food was taken home with us. Maybe we just didn’t listen properly and thought everything from the menu was tapas!

Had an excellent time here. Mexican style tapas. The service was very friendly, attentive and professional. All of the food was very tasty and the mocktails were great too. Room for improvement on the quality of the furnishings such as the chairs, but overall a lovely experience. Thanks for dinner 🙂

Really enjoyed the food and atmosphere, the drinks were really good too. However we were was accidentally given the non vegan version and when it was found out the server didn’t seem to want to help and avoided us. We asked another member of staff wearing a trainee badge who was extremely apologetic and did everything she could to make it right which turned the this potentially bad experience around for us so a big thank you to her.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Pedro's this evening with our kids (8 & 11) at the end of our holiday in Kendal. The owner/manager welcomed everyone as they sat down and explained the menu. He also very kindly advised us to order one less dish as he thought we wouldn't finish it (and he was spot on!). We all enjoyed every single dish we ordered, the highlights being the steak nachos, the meaty skewers and the mini chicken burgers! All the staff were attentive and warm. It was great value, a good atmosphere and if we lived closer we would definitely be back. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a delicious mexican family meal in Kendal!

Felt like we had been transported to Mexico from grey rainy Kendal. A really unexpected treat of Mexican tapas beautifully cooked and presented, friendly service and real margaritas!

What a great experience, from the moment we stepped in. The service was amazing Jagoda was really pleasant and smiley. The team worked well, the food was better. Great advice on food for serving amounts to mixtures of flavours. Gutted only got a photo of the dessert. Well done all involved.

A first time visit to this restaurant. Very friendly and welcoming staff, explained how tapas works for those who may not know. Very well timed and spaced out timing of the courses, which were utterly delicious and as they are made to order, were lovely and hot. Very good value for money. A definite return to restaurant.

The place is good, but is definitely not Mexican or Spanish (the menu is mixed) the food is ok and the prices as well but if you’re expecting a authentic Mexican food is not there.

The first waiter said we should order 2-3 courses. She pointed out some big courses and we chose 2 of them. The waiter who took the order said that it was little to order and that we were not that hungry. For us it seemed like a really bad service When we got the food there was definitely enough for the two of us. The food was fine, but not really anything special.

The food is amazing, but we had to wait 50 minutes for the food an another 40 minutes for the desserts.

Food was excellent, as was the waitress that served us. The other front of house staff were not particularly welcoming and came across as a little grumpy!

Recommend to us and it lived up to it. Certainly would visit again if in the area.

This place has gone down hill faster that a fat kind falling. Cocktails don’t even bother get juice instead it’s exactly the same thing. Staff friendly thou and nice.
