Eating here makes you realize that you've never ever actually had real Chinese food before. The food here is beyond expectations and is what I might classify as luxury Chinese food. Everything is amazingly delicious. Although the staff service can be exceptionally smothering. You're constantly being stared at and watched while you eat and they will attempt to clear your plates while you're still eating.

Residents in this small town/borough (not sure about the correct description) are very lucky to have this restaurant here as the decor, food, and service are on the same par with middle-to-higher end Chinese Restaurants in Hong Kong (where I came from) and in Canada (where I’ve called home for thirty years). The chefs here do a very good job of preparing authentic (mostly Cantonese - southern China) dishes. I was in the UK for two weeks travelling and stumbled on this Restaurant on my way back to London from Bath. Thank you to the service staff who enabled one of my fellow travellers to enjoy a fabulous birthday dinner! The menu range is wide and you should try the various items (Note: Peking duck isn’t the usual style with pieces of duck skin with meat, which was a bit of a disappointment - Hope this can be improved)

Our favourite Chinese by our long shot. The food is exceptional and the service is second to none. Wei and the whole team look after you so well. The duck is perfect as are the sizzling dishes. A regular outing for us and never disappoints.

We have never visited here before and were looking for a nice dine-in Chinese restaurant for a family celebrations decided to give it a go. It didn’t disappoint! The staff were very friendly and attentive and the food was delicious! 5 of us ate heartily with drinks for £150 which is pretty good for the location and quality of the meal. We will definitely be returning and can highly recommend it. The rice portions were huge so we had over ordered by a long way. 1 bowl would easily feed 2 or more depending on your appetite.

Just ordering a takeaway out. No sitting in. So, I'd fancied a prawn omelette....and it wasn't on the menu (travesty!). But, they pulled their magic and rustled me up one. At £12, I first thought it was a tad high, but once I got snuck in...it was well worth it. Large and succulent prawns, fresh eggs used, and altogether tasty all round. What also topped it off was: a) I got taught to say 'thank you' in Chinese (she, she), and b) got a free fork & spoon. Only one slight negative to convey. Though a pleasant June Monday evening, there were more customers than staff. But, the one/two front of house persons had managed the flow well enough. Yes, I would visit here again.

Three of us dined here on Friday night. Food is very good. We had the crispy duck, sesame prawn to start. Soft shell crab, salt & chilli prawns, rice, mixed vegetables, scallops in black bean sauce and crispy noodle. All very good. Staff very nice and accommodating. We would highly recommend.

My first time in this Chinese restaurant. A good find because the food is good, the service is very attentive, and the restaurant looks nice. A strange glass partition down the middle of the restaurant, but it doe snot detract from the experience. The crispy duck was a little dry. The hot and sour soup was excellent.

Came here for first time on Sunday night. Food and service were perfect. Really attentive staff. Cooked with care and portions were great. Everything done to perfection. Congratulations and thank you. We will be back

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The decor was a bit dated. The food was really tasty. It tasted authentic and reminded me of the days when, we used to have our big Chinese family lunches/dinners in the 80/90s. My only criticism is that the portion sizes for the mains are a tad on the small side. I would recommend this place.

We went to this restaurant last Sunday evening myself and my three children, the food was absolutely amazing, every dish tasted incredible and everything was so fresh and delicious, the service was second to none, so incredibly friendly, the way we saw it was, we can't wait to eat there again,for a fantastic evening out, I highly recommend you try this restaurant.

Food was decent, restaurant was clean, but what ruined it is when me and my friend was going out to smoke quickly, they suggested we leave something so they could have peace of mind that we wouldn’t run off? They took my friends phone as hostage until we come back inside. Very very rude.

We have visited a few times. The food and service has always been brilliant. Tonight, we had a booking for my son. It was his birthday. I mentioned that in the booking. When we arrived, we were taken to our table, that was dressed with a birthday helium balloon and birthday banners. Such a lovely touch, really made my son smile. Highly recommend! See you very soon.

We chose this restaurant for a family celebration on our wedding day with 13 guests. We would highly recommend Pearl of China for their excellent attention to detail, not only before our special day but also on the day. The food was gorgeous and served with smiles. Not easy to book. Tried several times by phone, but no reply or busy. I resorted to email and got confirmation, but then lost the booking on night. Managed to seat us anyway, but was more rushed.

Had a takeaway. Normally the quality is excellent, but not this time. Chicken and prawns chewy and Singapore noodles not great. New chef? Hope for a return to form.

We booked for a birthday celebration and when we asked to increase our party size slightly a few days beforehand they accommodated that with no problem. Upon arrival they’d put up some birthday decorations and even came out at the end of our meal with a candle in a scoop of ice cream, complete with happy birthday being played over their speaker system! One of the waitresses even took some photos of the group to send to us via email afterwards which was a lovely touch. And now onto the food, it was so so good and came out relatively quickly with good spacing between each course. We all went for set menu A which left us all happy although too full for dessert. My particular favourites were the honey rib starter and the sweet and sour chicken main. My only regret about our visit is that we hadn’t come here sooner despite living embarrassingly close for quite a while now. We will be back!

We discovered this place through a leaflet for their takeaway. We’ve been looking for a good Chinese restaurant for a while, so thought we’d give it a try. We had smoked chicken, Mongolian lamb skewers and vegetable spring rolls for starters and Cantonese fillet steak, salt and pepper bean curd, and chicken fried rice for main. All of the food was excellent and served in generous portions. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the service was good. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely go back again.

We like to stop by here every now and then after visiting family who live in the local area, everytime we have been the food is exceptional (Set menu A is a personal favourite) the atmosphere is calm and welcoming and the staff are friendly. It’s s great place for birthdays, anniversaries or if you just fancy some good food! We live in Farnborough and the owner told us she also has a takeaway in Frimley… well she now has two new customers! Would recommend!

We wanted to try somewhere new and what a pleasant surprise! We’ve ordered set A and added a few extras and they were all delicious. We especially like the hot and sour soup, special fried rice and sweet and sour chicken. We can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu.

Always good here but I do prefer the starters to the main dishes. Fab dim sum.

Arrived stone cold and was dry as anything - totally in-edible . Shredded chilli beef was like eating shredded cardboard. So disappointing and a total waste of money!

A welcome return to a superb chinese resteraunt. We have only experienced great food, and have visited many times over the years. We visited China a few years ago and our guide would only eat with us at a meal cooked by a family in the traditional hutong district in Bejing,meals we have had at the Pearl of China are equal if not better than that experience! The food is clearly freshly prepared, and tastes great. We have been so many times, and would notice if quality was not consistent. This is the best Chinese resteraunt for miles around, with the bonus of very nice staff.

Takeaway this evening, Sunday, big mistake, dry, tasteless food, overcooked, even the prawn crackers were refried. Disappointing as the last takeaway was reasonable.

We ate at Pearl of China with our family for dinner. The food was disappointing. The dumplings were very mediocre - tasting like they were bought from Costco. The Singapore fried rice was too heavily seasoned with curry powder. The Sichuan shrimp had no heat whatsoever. We asked for chili oil and were promptly charged for it. Ridiculous. Finally, our wines were very average. How this place gets 4.5 starts on TA is a mystery to me. Is this the standard for Chinese cuisine in Surrey? I hope not.

Extremely good! I placed a telephone order for me to collect, and everything had been prepared just in time for my collection 20 mins after placing the order. Really tasty well-cooked food with a huge portion of special fried rice. Will definitely go back!

Lovely restaurant, we came today for dinner, they were hosting a birthday party but despite this they were still attentive, the food was lovely and the waitress was so friendly! every-time she left our table I kept telling my partner ‘she is so lovely!’ we aren’t local but we will be back. thank you!

First time at Pearl of China, Weybridge. Between the 4 of us we had a good selection of starters and mains. We enjoyed all the food - good portions, quality and very tasty. Will definitely visit again for dine in or take-away.

We had a takeaway last Saturday evening and it was still as good (if not better) as always. The kung Po chicken & special chow mien were delicious; as was the amazing lemon chicken. Happy New Year to you all

Very expensive, but tasty food and good service. As an example, £2.80 for chilli oil and £2 sweet chilli sauce?!

Taste is not great. And they charge for a chilly oil. I dont recomend the restaurant.

First time here for us. Great food, very tasty. Very attentive and polite staff. Great atmosphere and lots of space between tables so really comfortable. My only slight negative is our dishes for our main course were brought to the table with a couple of minutes gap between them, whereas I would have preferred everything kept warm in the kitchen and brought to the table together. However, this minor issue would not stop us going back, in fact we are planning our next visit already! 3 people 6 alcoholic drinks, no starter and about 6 or 7 meat, rice and noodle dishes and one dessert £109.00 + tip. TBH £30 of that were the 3 red wines we chose, so not too expensive given the area, service and quality of food.

The Peal food is excellent but the takeaway was a joke not to be repeated pls. We order at 6:30 for a 8:30 pick up to avoid the rush. Turned up at 8:30 to be told it is ready when taking my payment, only to...

Visited this restaurant recently and really enjoyed the food there. We only had mains as we were limited on the time that we had. The service was great, food was really good. Would recommend that you visit if you are in the area.

This is the first time I've tried this restaurant and only booked as visiting with friends, how glad am I that I did, the food is fantastic and it is already a favourite after 1 visit, I recommend this to anyone and everyone even if you need to travel it is well worth it, friendly staff nice ambience and the owner was there and takes the time to talk to you absolutely great experience thank you

I feel compelled to write an honest review after noticing others had had a negative time with this place. We collected a takeaway on 13/02/21 and it was great. Really tasty dishes cooked to a high standard. The food was ready when they said it...

We ordered takeaway for NYE at 6.05pm. It arrived 3.5 hrs later at 9.35pm! We knew they’d be busy but we were told it would be 1.5hrs. When there was no sign after 2 hours we rang - they were stressed and sorry but told us the food had not even be cooked because they had 100 orders! Seems they took preorders and just were not prepared or worried about when or how to meet such demand and kept taking extra orders. We were told we should never have been told 1.5hrs and it should have been nearer 2.5hrs. Obviously if we’d known that we’d have not ordered. They made out like it was our fault for expecting a delivery in decent time. Even being regular customers did not help - apparently all the orders were from regulars. They then said it would be 45 mins but there were still somehow 5 orders before us. We rang again after 75 mins to be told it was on its way for it to eventually arrive 15mins later. No compensation, no money off, no extra items, no real apology. We are glad they were busy - a sign of how good they are normally- but they handled it really badly. Yes we could have cancelled but we were committed by that late stage. Hopefully a one off but why were they not better prepared or more honest about it? All that said it was great food when it did arrive but we were so hungry by then we would have eaten anything! :)

Made my NYE pre order at 2pm. Was told to collect at 8pm. Arrived promptly at 7.50pm however due to a complete lack of organisation and greed to take as many orders as possible, was left standing for.9ver 2 hours along with c. 30 people for my food. Male Co owner completely dis organised and provided false updates and expectations. Deliveries weren't being made with people driving in to be told they would have to wait longer, people were trying to get refunds and it was complete chaos. Shameful behaviour of unorganised and greedy owners letting loyal customers down.

Just awful dont bother!! Always loved this restaurant until we ordered a delivery. Food took approx. 2 hours was cold and chewy when it finally arrived. Driver did not have any change.
