Has to be the worst Chinese in the borough of Elmbridge. Last time I had it, the chips where hard, spring rolls was raw and just the quality of the food is awful. If you want my advice never order from here. To be honest the only good thing about this place is it’s cheaper but I suppose that’s what you get.

Lovely food arrived nice a warm and on time which was given when ordering. Only thing I would have liked was to have BBQ dry ribs instead of the plain ribs if they where on the menu.

Terrible Terrible customer service. We ordered £65 worth of food and when it arrived 3 items ordered were wrong, even though the order was repeated back to us correctly. They wouldn't accept they had made a mistake and were extremely rude. We hadn't even asked to have the food replaced, we had waited an hour for the food anyway so were going to eat it but thought we should let them know in case it had got mixed up with another order. We offered to take pictures and send it to them to prove we weren't lying but refused to accept they had got it wrong and insisted we had received what was ordered. Terrible service will never use again.

Sorry to say I used this place for the first and last time while at friends house in Walton last night. We ordered £65 worth of food but when it arrived 3 or the orders were totally wrong. Two Squid dishes instead of Prawn and a main chicken dish instead of King prawn satay. Instead of just apologising they blamed us and said they had cooked and delivered prawns, very rude and will never order again. We didn't ring to demand new dishes we actually rang to say we may have got someone else's partial order. Very rude man.

Line constantly busy. Can never get through to place an order. Having to look elsewhere.

Best Chinese food ever delicious every time

I’ve ordered from Maxime pretty much every Friday night for the last month (Friday has become Chinese night), but I’ve ordered from them on and off for years (diet!) I haven’t ordered from any other Chinese restaurant in the interim because these guys do great food at great prices - always delicious, always friendly service. You might need to redial a few times to get through though (shows how popular they are!) Recommended. 👍🏻

NB: This is first ever entry into Trip Advisor. This restaurant came recommended; how wrong can this be. 1. I waited a hour and 45 minutes post-order for the delivery to arrive 2. The food was cold - I had already received guarantees from the owner that this would not be the case 3. I am now suffering from food poisoning; I shall avoid the detail - ~I will leave this to your imagination. Wholly unacceptable all-round - in fact it was terrible. I will never use this restaurant again.

My first time I had to pass three other Chinese On the way. I was happy with my meal I will be back very good service and spare ribs were very nice

I like their chicken curry.. Prefer other Chinese takeaways for some other dishes. Ie. Mr Turtle does better chicken balls China chef does better chowmein But it's a matter of personal taste.....

We collected a takeaway for a family birthday and the food was top notch, it was our first visit but certainly not our last.

Absolutely great Chinese food. Every dish is vibrant with veg and completely unique in flavour profile. Not too salty, like most takeaways. My fav is the Kung Pao shrimp and squid in black bean sauce. The Kitchen is spotless, you can see them cook fresh in front of you when you order in person, nothing re-heated. Prices are cheap - the dishes are worth more in my opinion! Amazing value. Better than La Orient and Good Earth and half the price...

Always nice food and food deserves 5 stars but i give 3 stars due to driver asking for a bigger tip

Both me and my partner have ordered from this delightfully addicting restaurant for over 3 years now. This review is long overdue! Working in the retail business myself, I like to acquire a certain level of service and detail in my day to day. Maxime’s has triumphed over and over again. The food has left me and my partner always coming back for more. The efficiency of the cooks, owner and staff has always impressed me to say the least. If there are any takeaways that deserve a huge round of applause for there sterling quality of produce and tentative nature, Maxime’s is by far the number one. First time I've ever used this Chinese as working away. Delivered within half hour , food was hot and very tasty ,even phoned me to tell me driver was on his way .highly recommended...happy customer.

So bad, words fail me. Noodles were dry as a bone. The meats, chicken and beef were frozen rubbish, rubbery and tasteless A bad experience and total waste of money. Never again.

The food was amazing 100% recommend we must have ordered around 15 different dishes got our food in 20 minuets and everyone loved it.

First time I've been here in a very long time... This place went a little down hill some years ago so have been elsewhere since, but popped in as I was on foot and passing on my way home this time and don't regret it in the slightest!! It was the tastiest Chinese I've had in a long time... The young chap that used to run this place with his wife was back cooking being the counter, maybe that's why.... Delicious, thankyou!

Usually go to chu chin chow in molesey but that place wasn’t accepting orders so went to Maxime for the first time. Very good takeaway, cooked and ready in 15 mins. Will be back

I was a loyal customer to top quality Mr Chongs in Halfway Green until he closed down for retirement. So, desperate for an alternative Chinese take away I tried Maxime for lunch . Ordered sweet and sour prawns and house special rice. As for the sweet and sour prawns the prawns are bashed flat and end up being chewy rather than juicy. They are also stingy on the sauce and veg. Disappointing... The house special rice to be fair was pretty good but the meat was tough as old boots. Disappointing. I won't be in any hurry to go back. Bring back Mr Chongs...

There are several Chinese takeaways to choose from in the area but this we have found to be consistently the best. Extensive menu and reasonable prices. Will deliver.. Recommended.

Have never had a bad meal from here. They deliver for free near by if your order is over £15 and are generally quite quick. If you pick up then it doesn't take long at all if you're not picking up at peak times. The man on the phone is really friendly and efficient and the prices are what you would expect from a Chinese takeaway.

Maxime’s Chinese Takeaway was recommended to me and we’ve just had our second meal from here. There’s a good menu choice, the ordering and delivery service is efficient and above all the food is delicious, with no horrible aftertaste. We have good appetites and the portion sizes are generous.

The food here is excellent, it tastes lovely , its fresh generously portitoned and screams the words high tandard. Its the best i have had outside of Hong Kong . Its just a take away but it puts most eat in resturants to shame. The shop is so clean that it shines and considering its been going a long time everything still looks like its brand new in the kitchen area, no dodgy partiton to hide the chefs here. Well worth a try and you will come back . Excellent place really happy to have found it.

Mejor comida china que he utilizado. Mucho mejor que cualquiera de los otros lugares locales. Personal amable que "no solo a la orden" pero hablar y conocer el cliente. Recuerda que estás en visitas de vuelta. Sin duda recomiendo este sitio!
