Beautifully interior-decorated restaurant and it looked popular for couples, groups and families with small children. Hence place for everyone. Everything is located on the ground floor. The food was delicious and generous portions. We were invited to celebrate a birthday party, hence don't know the cost of it. Staff is well trained and food is delivered fast. But for food and a beautiful interior with a Karp fish pool and lack of decorations, I advise you to visit it.

I had a lunch there. The food was good but the service was terrible. As during lunch they had special lunch menu which was a little cheaper compared to the usual one, the waiter didn’t charge me with the lunch menu but the normal one. Although the difference was just maybe 30 cents, but the feeling was disgusting. It was a cheating even I reminded her the lunch menu but still…🤷‍♂️

Excellent CNY meal delivered by Pearl Liang!! The crispy chilli pepper lobster was finger licking good - fresh meat and thin batter coating, yet full of flavours. Even they said only CNY menu will be offered last week but they tried their best to accommodate requests from a la carte menu such as Peking duck which is great customer service.

I used to eat here at least once a month until I moved away from London 5 years ago. At the time the service was friendly and attentive and the food was consistently excellent. In returning for the first time this evening, and having booked well ahead, I was given a single, drafty, table near the door. The starter (crispy duck) was good but the main not so, with the prawns tasty but overcooked and the accompanying rice having obviously been kept warm under a heat lamp for a while - and below that singed surface it was hardly warm, certainly not hot. Between services I was ignored, with no feedback requested either then or when paying. I’d greatly looked forward to this meal and was thoroughly disappointed. Sadly, I’ll not be back.

A modern an nicely decorated restaurant. With sections for private party groups. Visited day before Chinese new year so was extremely popular. We hadn't made a reservation but we were accommodated. Due to expectations of being busy there was only a set menu available which was quite limited for choice. We ordered four dishes between the two of us. Decent size portions. However I would not say any of it was of a great standard taste wise . The roast duck was served cold and very fatty. The spring rolls tasted like they contained sausage meat. The cocktails looked good tho.

Our first time trying Pearl Liang. It was nice finding a 'proper' Chinese restaurant in the heart of the Paddington area near the station. It took a while for someone to come to us to seat us as it was rather busy. It also took a while for someone to come take our drinks and food orders. We forgive the delays as there was only one empty table in the main restaurant area. We tried the light dim sum set menu (8 assorted dumplings), together with king scallop shu mai, pork ribs in black bean and minced pork & shrimp croquettes. It was more than enough food for both of us. Apart from he chewiness of the pork ribs, everything else went down smoothly. Great flavours. Apart from expecting some more attentiveness from the staff, we had no complaints. We'd love to return and give it another try.

Specifically asked for no fish ingredients in any of the dishes... starter soup came smelling of fish... after explaining our bad experience with fish oils in the past. More fish came our way. Main course for my husband was a steak in a chilli sauce ... dried chillies and swimming in fish oil fats. Myself as a vegetarian ordered vegetable spring rolls... sauce was with fish sauce after asking who was the vegetarian and then told me not to dio the spring rolls in it. ... at the end of the visit my husband hardly ate and was not happy. The beef was rubbery and stank of fish. Staff commented that no fish was used and accused my husband of not being anke to handle the heat of spicy food ( he eats Carolina reaper chillies as a daily thing in his diet so thus was quite insulting.

We were delighted with our first lunch at Pearl Liang (our first Chinese outside Chinatown and Bayswater). The Fried Rice Noodles with Beef was so delicious we ordered it twice, it had a lot of wok hei. The rice was later on corrected, but came with an extra bit of plastic. We were told that it was the duck dish we ordered with dead stare from the waitress. It was our birthday and had a train to catch, so really could not be bothered to waste our breath to argue. The plastic in rice was clearly a revenge. This is such a dirty trick especially we had a toddler. What if we hadn't discovered and removed the plastic? We did show the plastic/ foreign item to another waitress. Till today the crispy pork belly here has a special place in my memory as their pork belly ticks the right boxes I have for the dish- right amount of salt on the skin, very crispy skin & more meat to fat ratio , i.e. not the 50:50 ratio seen in other restaurants. Their other dishes are also pretty amazing including the special young show fried rice. The place is spacious and perfect for post work dinners too. A little gem in the middle of paddington. After a stroll in Little Venice this venue is a nice stop before facing the crowds at Paddington station. We visited at 4:30pm, and the place was empty apart from one other table, which was expected. The waitress hurried us and told us that the kitchen was closing for dim sum. So we had to make our menu decisions quickly. A couple of the items on the menu were not available unfortunately. But we chose some delicious and different dim sum options. My favourite was the scallop and king prawn, which was meaty and had a good bite. All options we chose were tasty, delicately made and well balanced in flavour.

Spacious restaurant and good dim sum. 中文在後 We only tried Dim Sum and they are really good! We love the sticky rice chicken wrapped by lotus leaves. They’re really tasty. Raffish cakes were also good, definitely homemade. Service was friendly and efficient. It was a bit noisy though, makes you feel you are in HK. 很好吃的點心, 我們喜歡荷葉糯米雞跟蘿蔔糕,腸粉普普通通。很大的餐廳有很多座位,相對的用餐氛圍比較吵雜。上菜速度快,服務不錯。

Very small portion of food with the price compare to other Chinese restaurants. You have to order more food to fill yourself up which means spend more money! The table is very sticky and not cleaned properly. Management team, please train your staff well before they can handle customers! Horrible customer service. The worst Chinese restaurant ever in London and the worst one in West London area!

A great Friday evening meal, busy restaurant but not too loud. Super attentive and quick service but no rush to get you out like some places can be. As for the food, it was all so delicious even if the menu was a little overwhelming with the choice - which was a good thing!

Amazing restaurant! A foodie friend had recommended the place to us for dumplings. We dropped by one Saturday and they didn’t have seats for the next 2 hours, so we went away and booked for the following weekend. Worth the wait! Everything was delicious and great value for the quality of food they serve. Very busy but reasonably attentive service. Will go again!

This place is honestly the most amazing buffet I have ever eaten at, fully vegan and lots of choice! Food is tasty, and best of all its 10 pounds! ( 9 pounds before 16:00 and take away is 6 pounds, cash only ) of course the interior of the place has some paint etc that doesn’t look great, but hey for 10 pounds its great! they also have toilets downstairs. overall a must visit if you are are in London!
