Awesome food and awesome service!!! Best food in Walsall - was caught by surprise when my friend from brum knew about how good this chippy in my home town of Walsall. Chicken Tikka in naan is a definite favorite of mine but I have been back several times. You will not be disappointed,

Visited here a couple of times for a kebab. I cannot fault the service or the kebab, served on a fresh, pillowy naan the chicken tikka kebab was cooked to perfection. Excellent doner meat, soft and warm, not over cooked and plenty of salad. Excellent, clean shop and polite staff. At £6 a bargain.

went here wed 16th october for some lunch time chips would not go again made me feel ill they also short changed me

food was ok however i went recently and ordered a chicken and chips, and the chicken was pink!.. definately put me off my food sure. also the portions are really small in comparison to other near by takeaways such as bobs takeaway on on caldmore road and khans which is opposite. p.s they also charge you for sauces like mayo and chilli which i find extortionate

Best Quality Chicken, Meat and Chips. The chicken and Lamb are always Fresh and Top quality and taste delicious. This is the only chip shop that serves Fresh food in Walsall. I have been to many chippies where they have either old chicken that smell or old dried Chips. They are on top of the quality and Freshness. The downfall is Fish which is okay but not cod so the price is high for Fish.

Always get our weekly takeaway from Pearls. Food is always consistently good. The place is always busy and takes along time to order food over the phone or queuing, but worth it.

this place is the bluddy bomb man kasmeh get the chicken breast burger meal and meat and chips and then merge it together and omg this is the most beaustifulest thing you will ever taste omg trust me go there its worth it there some fit paki man there as well offffffft

Not sure how you can get "cod and chips" wrong if you work in a chip shop but this order seemed to be a problem and took ages to sort out. Fish was OK but a bit overcooked or maybe too long in the heater. Chips OK. Didn't risk the generic £1 "fish" but the small cod was only £2. Chips just £1. But not good enough for a return visit.

Food is a hit and miss sometime nice sometime not. The staff don’t care over the phone or face to face moody men who clearly don’t want to be there or aren’t satisfied with their lives somehow

I have ordered 2 times from there the 1st 1 lovely but the 2nd time I ordered absouloutly disgusting never again EVER !!! I ordered an pizza (cheese and tomato) and it came to my door as an (cheese and tomato but with onions) I also ordered an kebab for my mate and it looked and tasted very greasy . I also ordered an keema naan and when I looked inside the keema naan there was just peppers in it it was disgusting 1 good thing they delivered very quick but it needs updating and better organisation :)

The answer is.....a big fat NO. They don't make pizza's! !!! Oh well Khans is across the road and they do fab pizzas allday everday.

I have been going to Pearls since I was a kid. On some occasions the food is nice. HOWEVER the place defo needs a refurbishment, it has looked the same way since I was a kid and needs a good clean. Also, they seem to always advertise best takeaway in Walsall awards from yonks ago. Their awards are just as outdated as their interior.

The old guy with the beard was very moody & gave us terrible customer service. The vegetarian pizza we ordered took ages to come & was cold, he handled the situation very unprofessionally. The pizza had too many onions & no taste, customer service needs to improve & so does the food. I understand it's busy but that's no way to treat customers. My family live in Walsall & attend the chip shop on a regular basis, even they have said standards have gone down hill.

Very fast clean and delicious food, with parking available outside, we usually call up to order up ready for collection

We went there for some fast food few weeks ago.... Their masala fish is spot. We ordered a masala fish naam with salad and sauces and the size was quite large , big enough for two. Taste was lovely defo will travel there again.

Fish and chips always fresh. Good location. Always parking available. Decent service. Small chicken wings very tasty. Good variety of food. When's it's busy, it's best to call for ur order

It has its bad days aswel as good days, some days food is amazing an some days not as good, they need to improve the environment such as replacing tiles and tables, need more friendly staff!!

Este es un pescado muy concurrida y tienda de patatas fritas. El tiempo de espera es normalmente alrededor de 10/15 minutos. Recomendaría este lugar a mis amigos y familia.

I am a regular customer who visits Pearls Fish bar at least twice a week. Usually I am very happy with their food and service, However today I had the most horrendous experience. I was the only customer in the shop when I ordered my food. Two customers then walked in, with a bigger order than mine and funnily enough they forgot about my order. When coming to pay, the man serving me over-charged me on the total bill, even though there is a set price on the menu. When I pointed this out to him, he started to yell and pulled off a lame excuse. I asked for the chips to be plain however he put chilli sauce over the top which completely ruined my meal. I'm sorry guys but you and the majority of your staff really need to get your act together

I have lived in Walsall for years and pearls was my local fish and chip shop I have fond memories of going there as a kid.For my dinner or even skipping school to have lunch there.The food used to be wonderful and good value .However I visited today and was left disgusted by what this place stands for today .The interior is just dreadful and long due for renovation.The tiles on the ceiling and floor stand dirty and tarnished.In the corner lies a overflowing bin decorated with flies welcomed in with a open door.The workers seldom look friendly and stand unkempt.i was kept waiting a long time even though there wasn't a line I was then served by a right grump with a limited grasp of English I had to explain my order several times which was met with huffing and eye rolling.Eventually he got the order right but he charged extra for sauces.The food itself was mediocre tasteless and bland.The doner was like chalk and very grisly which tasted horrid and the chips of a shoddy standard .In the end I didn't even finish my meal I just threw it in the trash pile where it belonged and I'm pretty sure the owner muttered obscenities in a foreign language under his breath while giving my murderous stare upon witnessing this.Still ravenous I went over to khans across the road where I had a delightful meal devoid of extra sauce charges,bad attitude and overpriceness .So if you find yourself in palfrey avoid this place like aids and go elsewhere.

Everyone's favorite due to there lovely Chicken when it is fresh, chips could be better, if they were battered, staff are elderly but you know a smile would be nice, i know you making the p, but service does go along way.

Don't normally go here. But thought I'd give it a try. For starters the bloke who served me couldn't speak English. I wanted a large fish and clearly asked him if it was cod or whatever. Didn't have a clue. Fish was raw in the middle. Chips were stale. Tell they were sitting there for a while. The kids didn't enjoy there food from there. Shop isn't the cleanest either. Don't recommend

Got fish and chips but the fish was old and dry couldn't eat it ,waste of money rather go to a decent fish and chips shop and get better tasty ones

One of the few places that still serve traditional fish and chips. They have a reputation for preparing fish and chips of the highest quality over the past 2 decades. Portions are generous and staff put the customer first taking on board any constructive criticism. As previous reviews mention it is ideal for fish and chips but other places serve betters kebabs / burgers etc.

Quite a few takeaways where I live but i just pop in there for a quick fish and chips meal. I go elsewhere for kebabs/pizza/grill food

This chippie used to be my favourite twenty years ago, but over time things have changed through new ownership. I ask for Cod and three different times three different people have told me it's cold, then give me Pangasisus, a Bengali catfish farm raised in Vietnam. I now go to chippies who give me cod when I ask for cod.
