Found this little gem of a sandwich shop today for the first time. I had the sticky sesame fried chicken sandwich, I think this has to be one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Looking forward to trying more of the menu very soon!

What I love about here is their tasty, freshly made sandwiches with their interesting flavours and ingredients choices. I would say that given the price it is more of a treat than a go to lunch but I do like to check out the menu to see if I can be tempted. Staff have always been really friendly and accommodating. Wherever possible I ring ahead, because it is a 40 minute round trip to make a visit, and the staff are always helpful to have it ready in the time frame (just make sure it isn't the lunchtime rush or there will be a wait).

Absolute Gem of a Sandwich Shop, highly recommend the Buffalo Fried Chicken sub and if you like Jerk Chicken no point going anywhere else! Will be bringing the family soon for lunch!! Coffee is probably the best in the area to!!

Lovely little gem! Friendly staff and a bit of a wait as food cooked to order which was great! Everything on the menu looked great and catered for vegetarians, vegans as well as meat eaters so great for all. Delicious smoothies and a fully packed chicken bap with a load of lovely slaw, salad and dressing. Well worth a visit!

We ordered sandwiches for a working lunch catering for about twenty. The sandwiches and free extras were fantastic. Thank you, everyone thought they were amazing !! Thanks for sorting out all our many requirements too.

What a cosy, friendly place in Hoole. The selection of sandwiches, the drink, the location, not to mention the wonderful staff. A must do if in need of a tummy filling snack. Thank you so much!!

Went into the indoor market on a wet horrible day. What a find!!! At first we were unsure because we had to wait a while but WOW. I had the egg, halloumi and advocado sandwich and hubby had the ham one. I ate all mine but John couldn't manage it all. He had it the next day and it was just as good. Would highly recommend

Wow! There are sandwiches and then there are SANDWICHES!!! Wonderful inventive flavours packed to the rim with filling! So glad we found this little gem of a hidden haven inside Chester market quarter.... and we just had to come in today to show our support knowing from tomorrow we are on a second lockdown! Thank you for the amazing lunch today and we will see you in the flip side!!!!

Visiting daughter at Uni and this turned out to be a great place for lunch. Sandwiches very generous and great range of fillings. Had the halloumi, avo and egg and twice cooked chips. Staff friendly and cooking time was perfect. I had chance to nip and buy a secondhand vinyl LP whilst waiting. Fresh squeezed apple juice perfect. Can't wait for next visit.

So glad to get back to Peak Sandwiches. They’re a must visit. Their sandwiches are epic. They’re super tasty and huge. The fried chicken is my go to sandwich accompanied by their yummy chips. You’ll not be disappointed.

There are lots of great food places in Chester Market and Peak Sandwiches is one of my favourites. Big, hearty sandwiches that are something different from the norm. Always enhanced by interesting pickles and sauces and with great veggie options. Also do fantastic coffee.

First time trying food here and it was fantastic. Had the Korean Chicken sandwhich - delicious, great flavours. Couldn't fault it. The staff were really friendly. Will be back again to try more from the menu.

I had read the previous reviews & wanted to try when I next popped into Chester. Absolutely delicious sandwich I couldn't decide what to have but in the end went for the Falafel,Hummus & Halloumi & all the extra salad It was outstanding full to the brim and worth £6 I shall be calling in again when I'm next in Chester and shall be telling my friends to give it a try. 👍😊 Thank you

Paid a visit to the market, which now has a food court type vibe. We settled for sandwiches from Peak. They were amazing. Robust and very tasty...would highly recommend.

Having not visited Chester market for many years I thought it was time to see for myself what all the talk was of a new renaissance of food and drink for the city and its market. Having now been I can see what people mean. Chester's market is developing into a real go to place for food and drink served up by independent operators. Our choice today was Peak Sandwiches and we were treated to some of the best filled and flavoursome sandwiches I've ever had, and to help wash them down the freshest fruit juices available. We opted for the Chicken Club and Pesto sandwich and the Fried Halloumi version with an Apple and a Beetroot, Apple and Lemon juice and freely available iced tap water. Bill came to £17. All I can say it don't put off visiting Chester market as you'll be missing out on a real street food style paradise. Thanks to all the team at Peak Sandwiches and Chester Market for making good what could have been a real white elephant.

My partner and I were recommended to have a look around the indoor market by a friend. Its a really cool and indy spot, with lots of unique and quirky stalls and food / drink places We decided to grab lunch at peak Sandwichs after looking through all the menus. It's got a chilled out vibe and the staff were friendly. We went for the fried chicken sandwich with twice cooked chips and two filter coffees. All the food was really tasty and they are good portions. We will definitely be back when next in Chester. 😊 Thank you!

Choose here for our lunch. Got a table and ordered the sandwiches. We weren't advised of the 45 minute wait (?!!) for our sandwiches. When they eventually arrived they did taste good. My niece ordered the Parmesan chicken but she didn't like it - poor choice on her behalf/liking. I had the chicken club and it was tasty.

We have eaten here several times and are never disappointed!

Fantastic food, great service, massive portions and a wide flexible choice on offer. The coffee is probably the best around and the prices are very reasonable too.

Avocado, eggs and Halloumi completely ruined by being covered in a vindaloo type sauce, no mention of this on the menu. It said tahini which is sesame seed and not spicy. Completely inedible to me who hates spice. Even my vindaloo loving partner found it too hot. My lips and tongue were burning and felt numb. Had to put ice on them.

My dad was visiting so I was looking for somewhere interesting, yet healthy, to take him for lunch. Not disappointed! A very friendly old-fashioned approach to both food quality and customer service. A vibrant place to sit. The drinks are interesting too.

What a hidden gem in Cheshire market. Superb customer service and a great variety on the menu. The food was fresh and delicious. Would definitely recommend a visit. Great vegetarian and vegan options.

We had sandwiches here last week with some lovely fresh squeezed juice and a plate of chips. They do a fantastic Onion Bhaji sandwich and a lovely halloumi shawarma this would be a SERIOUSLY good treat for lunch time! It lasted us all day

The sandwiches at Peak are uniquely presented and taste mega! Portion size was good, decent range of drinks on offer as well, and all friendly staff. Will be back.

Chester Market is having a bit of a "foodie" revolution at the moment, with lots of small food vendors opening up around a large shared seating area. I usually use my weekly work trip to the bank as an excuse to call and get something to eat, and Peak Sandwiches is fast becoming my favourite: just delicious sandwiches packed with healthy ingredients. I sit at the counter and read my book, and the staff are really friendly, but not intrusive: I can read my book in peace... When the sandwiches arrive they are wrapped in brown paper, but sliced in half to show off all the ingredients: you can't help but pause for a moment and take them in, little works of art each and every one.

In the middle of indoor market we found an open eating area surrounded by a varied and interesting selection of food vendors, right in the actual centre of Chester - what a gem! We chose Peak Sandwiches and the service was great. The delicious sandwiches were generously filled and tasty, uniquely wrapped which made them easy to hold and I didn’t want to put mine down! No spoilers about the menu tho, just highly recommended. Might also try Italian next visit...

We were having lunch when we noticed other customers eating chips that looked lovely. We asked where they’d got them and went to Park Sandwiches to buy the Triple Cooked Chips, they were lovely.

After drooling over their Instagram account in the office for the last few months, we finally delved in for the first time as a Friday treat and were not disappointed. Super friendly staff, awesome menu and amazing food.

This was our first time at Chester Market and this stall looked really good. I had the halloumi sandwich and my husband had the fried chicken sandwich. They were so fresh! The bread was lovely and light, the sandwiches were well presented, flavourful and filling. The service was great with friendly staff and it is great value for money. I would definitely eat here again and recommend Peak Sandwiches to my family and friends.

I first heard of this place from colleagues at work, being new to Chester I was on the lookout for some nice places for lunch.

These people make great drinks and their salads and sandwiches are exceptional, in fact they aren’t just sandwiches. I had the Croque Madame see the photo, it was delicious. The service was fast and friendly with very reasonable prices.

Wow, this sandwich place in Chester market is exceptional! The sandwiches are made to order with masses of tasty fillings. Coffee is also up there with the best. Who ever thought that Chester market would become our go to place for lunch when we're out shopping?

Theses sandwiches are the best I’ve ever had. Lovingly made, laden with quality produce and great value, they won’t leave you disappointed. Nice place to sit a chill for a while and enjoy a quality coffee too.

Lovely food, well presented by very nice people. It was recommended by my wife and daughter who visited here on Saturday and they were spot on. One of Chester’s best. I’ll certainly be returning as it’s not just a sandwich place.

A well made sandwich is one of the overlooked pleasures in life. They don’t come much better than this - great value, fresh ingredients and wonderful bread. All in Chester indoor market where something very special is happening- a community of food startups!
