Best Chinese food in Staffordshire!!

The food is delicious. Starter was freshly steamed Dim Sum. Mains were a spicy tofu dish and teppan king prawn satay. Desserts were banana and a pineapple fritter (old school style) Staggered out after eating too much. Edit And I've been back (I live in Birmingham). Food is every bit as excellent as our previous visit. This time there were 12 of us (my 70th birthday). Service was great even though it was filled to capacity. Sunday lunch was really enjoyable. Very impressed with the 2 white wines we all tried. And the prices were great

Not been here for years, but suddenly fancied a Chinese meal done properly. We phoned up at ten to five on a Friday, but they managed to squeeze us in. The service was great; prompt and smiling. The food was very good, better than a takeaway. They do two versions of their menu, the standard one, where you just order what you want and an all-you-can eat for £26 (1st March 24) on a Friday. We will definitely be returning.

Take away review: initially good food and you pay for it - then the quality goes down and im offered a free dish if i return - my return order is £36 for two (father and son) - i then phone to complain about the worst 1/4 duck starter if ever had (£10+) and the woman explained that more often than not they receive the same complaint......the duck is already shreaded, the plastic bag of pancakes are placed on them and then sealed in a plastic box! How can the duck be crispy if its naturally steamed in the packaging - a sogy inedible mess. I eagerly await a response from the owner.

Went to Peaches for a birthday meal yesterday (thursday) on arrival we were seated and served drinks and starters quickly.. The portion sizes were spot on for 2 people. Fresh and tasty food, nice relaxed atmosphere, waitresses were all welcoming and attentive and decently priced for a very enjoyable night. We will definitely be back. Thank you ☮️💜

Attended for a delayed Christtmas family gathering with a small group. Booked well in advance and arrived shortly after opening. Our party were varied in age, appetite and tastes but were all catered for perfetly. One of group had the all you can eat option and enjoyed it thoroughly. The other adults enjoyed a la carte selections. Service and attitude were superb and nothing was too much trouble.

4☆ service - good, disappointing that we couldn't pay for drinks individually. 4☆ food - good, there was chopped up chillies which I didn't notice, (I don't eat spicy / hot foods,) resulting in I couldn't taste food after that. 5☆ staff lovely, thank you

Was booked to visit here with family today at 5.30pm. They tried to call once 15 mins before the reservation and then because the call wasn't answered, gave our table away. Utterly ridiculous. At least give us a chance to get there at the booked time before giving the table away! We were a table of 5, not a huge party. Ruined night.

First time visit was on NYE having purely searched best Chinese restaurant Staffordshire . A risk which paid off as had a great experience . Food was plentiful and good quality but the main ingredient was the staff. The attentiveness and effort put into looking after the customers was exceptional . As it was NYE extras had been arranged to keep everyone in the party spirit and the staff really got stuck in . There was a slight mix up with the bill which was all later resolved but no fault on their part and the whole evening was worth every penny . We will be back

Jan 2024 . It’s the same quality of food , service great . Only just realised it’s the same menu on different days but slightly cheaper on a Sunday. Definitely go back . My only wish would be to have an egg noodle dish with lots of vegetables in. May 2023 Great place for a Chinese food. You can have as many starters as you like but when you stop there’s no going back. Then the same with mains then desserts.£24 adults , £13 children. They do a children’s menu for £5 . Alcohol is served here. Prebook is advisable. Food was lovely. Small portions Not the biggest of restaurants. Don’t be deceived by the appearance from the outside as it’s looks rundown. A few disabled parking spaces on one side but it’s just the side of the road. Parking on the others side where you have to pay. We paid £1. Toilets are ok. Very friendly staff. Definitely go back. Reasonable prices. For 4 adults and 1 child it cost us £120 .

The food was very nice and the staff were amazing, the restaurant was full and there were only 2 waiting staff who kept the place running we hardly had to wait at all.

Visited on Saturday 30th December as two couples for a first time visit. Service was absolutely impeccable and the lovely blonde lady serving us was so friendly and chatty, and also super helpful. She said she had worked there 26 years so definitely knew her stuff! Just really great service. Food was spot on, dishes were all fresh and we ate from the all you can eat buffet and nothing was too much trouble. Each course was hot and very tasty and there was plenty of everything! If I had to moan it would be that the egg friend rice wasn’t great but apart from that the food was very tasty and incredible value for money 😊 can’t wait to come back!

Great Chinese restaurant. Been going for years and still going strong! The place has a great atmosphere and run by a friendly group of staff. Excellent service and food bought to your table quickly even when very busy. The all you can eat is brill and everything is cooked fresh rather than a buffet under heat lamps.

I'm sure it would've been nice if we'd got what we ordered. There's not much you can do when you get home and realise half the orders missing.

4 of us went last night and it was absolutely amazing, we had all the starters brought out , and because I’m allergic to chilli they did them without it and brought a small pot of chilli diced for my friends, after the starters we had mains again amazing the salmon and ginger was Devine, we didn’t have dessert as we were all stuffed , this was all for £21:50 ahead , we also had bottles of wine and I must say for £18 per bottle your Shiraz was the nicest I had tasted in a long long time The staff where spot on they couldn’t do enough for us and are an absolute credit to you , we asked to speak to the manager and she was so lovely we just wanted to say how wonderful our food was and we all can’t wait to go back

Ribs very small. Disappointed overall . Tasted like Iceland food, not authentic Chinese. Staff are friendly but wouldn't recommend or go again.

It’s always a treat to find out my auntie’s booked us a table at Peaches. It’s the best Chinese restaurant in town and I can’t recommend it enough to people. The staff here are amazing, so welcoming and attentive. They are very quick with clearing dishes and frequently ask you if you’d like to order more food and aren’t judgmental if you say yes every time! The £21.50 for the all you can eat menu on a Wednesday is great value for money because it allows you to try a huge variety of dishes without wasting money on big portions on food you may not enjoy. I don’t mind paying the extra £2 upgrade for the addition of dishes such as sesame chicken toast, yuk sung and battered king prawns in garlic as they’re absolutely delicious! In particular, I recommend the crispy chicken win tons, satay chicken skewers, beef in black bean sauce, plain fried noodles and garlic mushrooms.

Amazing menu and super friendly staff. Came here for the first time last week and ordered from the buffet menu. There were many veggie and gluten free options, probably the most catered for I’ve been at any restaurant. Couldn’t rate the staff any higher, all super lovely and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble which was really appreciated. We all left full of tasty food and will be returning.

Amazing, delicious, relaxing! This isn't like your typical all you can eat, you're served it & you can order it cooked freshly to your table. This means you can enjoy a variety of delicious dishes but be able to remain at your table & avoid the hustle & bustle, enabling you to engage in conversation with who you're with. The food is amazing, the portion sizes are perfect. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, they're all lovely. It's not a massive place but not tiny, it feels just right & comfortable. I have waited so long to go here, I shall not be waiting so long next time, I was planning my next visit as I left! I unfortunately didn't get any photos because I was too excited to taste the food.

Visited for my daughters birthday... her choice.. Excellent staff, fantastic food,went out of the way to ensure her 5 year old sister also enjoyed the experience with ùs, the Disney plate was a good choice.. thank you so much .

THE BEST! I have been coming to peaches for 19 years and still want to attend for the next 100! Always exceptional service, exceptional food. All of the staff are lovely and go out of their way to accomodate you and Sue the owner is lovely. The portions are hot and fresh, very very tasty and not a terrible price! The best placde to eat in Stoke...maybe the country!

It’s alright, I feel the place needs some music for ambience , the sound of other people crunching prawn crackers as the tables are quite close together and licking their fingers - is just revolting …. That’s the only thing that let it down for me… the set up is strange, the decor etc however the staff are really friendly , very efficient … food was good - but some greasy especially the chips but definitely fresh & hot … agree with others though the prawn crackers are stale unsure if it’s to do with the plastic storage boxes they are served in , maybe sat a while? Definitely prefer the food being served to your table rather than buffet, all orders considering how busy it was were correct , the tables etc were kept clean as people left so yes I would recommend for a good Chinese sit down meal

Visited on a Weds night-really busy! We (group of 11) had the ‘all you can eat’. The food was excellent. Special mention for the garlic mushrooms-super tasty! Staff were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Can only recommend.

As a family this is our go to treat! The food is phenomenal and the service outstanding. We always find the staff happy to help in any way. Also an amazing choice of gluten free dishes which is great for my mum as most Chinese have little to no options!

Peaches was full with a nice atmosphere and the service was good and friendly. The food, however. Everything was really really sweet and there was no heat at all. Hot and sour soup should be what the name implies not sweet with no chilli heat. Even the Hoisin sauce for the duck and pancakes tasted more like sweet and sour sauce and spoiled the duck. The only dish I enjoyed was the salt & pepper chicken wing which arrived hot and crispy but again no chilli heat. We were disappointed to not enjoy the meal at all but realise that as Peaches was full and it you have to book a couple of weeks in advance to get a table at the weekend other people must like what they do. I will not go back.

Food was amazing, absolutely delicious 😋 Not too expensive and allows for a variety of tastes when choosing from the buffet menu. Small tastes of a variety of dishes and can order more if you enjoyed them. Shall definitely return here.

OMG, this place... The food was absolutely amazing, the service was 💯, and the staff were really polite and welcoming. This is definitely a place I will be returning and recommending.

Went to celebrate my daughter's birthday, staff was friendly and food was fantastic. One let down to us we spent a lot of money and was disappointed when the manager asked if we asked if we was not leaving a tip

First time visit and will not be my last

Had the all you can eat..was nice,good to check out different dishes.. only downside if the evening was the intense heat in the restaurant as there's no Aircon and it was a very hot evening..

Excellent service from friendly staff. Informative and knowledgeable regarding Gluten Free, which was really important to my wife who is coeliac. Food was lovely, dishes were coming thick and fast.

Understandably the standard and quality does sometimes differ depending on the day you go. But we went as a treat for my mum, found the starter menu had changed. Not as many things on there. Now before I could get my moneys worth just on the starters alone. But there was so little choice that I liked now. The prawn wonton was now chicken. They no longer do sesame prawn toast, now not even chicken its just sesame toast and as for the duck, it think it had been run over as it was barely warm and not as good quality as usual (and no crispy skin), we used to have 2 or 3 servings of duck as its my favourite. Don't get my wrong everything else was piping hot and lovely. I ordered a portion of the beef in black bean sauce and the sweet and sour crispy beef. Now the black bean sauce is a bit salty but this was way to salty that I couldn't eat it. Its such a shame that on this occasion it wasn't up to the usual standard. As this was THE perfect way to do a buffet.

We took my parents to this restaurant, because they had come up from London to visit. We ordered from the all you can eat menu. The food was cooked fresh as we ordered. But, the most memorable thing about our visit was the servers Tea, Maisie and Olga, who were welcoming, attentive, friendly and helpful. Thank you ladies. Fresh tasty food, as much as your belly will take. One of my "go to" restaurants. If you haven't been, make sure Peaches goes near the top of your list.

Freshly prepared "buffet" menu, order dishes you like cooked then served. Plenty of dishes to choose from. If you don't want the "buffet" then there is an extensive alternative menu to choose from. Extremely happy helpful staff, well worth a visit.

The "eat as much as you want" system is fun, but the food wasn't much to like. Service is good and there are always lots of people.

Great food and atmosphere, Never disappointed whether we dine in or have a takeaway. The food keeps coming, always hot and tasty. So much choice too! Our most recent visit was for my sons 6th Birthday. He loves Chinese food and the staff made a fuss when bringing his cake out after the mains and singing happy birthday to him - which he loved. Good value for money, especially weekdays. We all left very and full and satisfied. We will be back :)

For all you can eat, this restaurant in general is good. Service is good and staff are attentive to order. Starters outperform main courses. The top 3 I picked us chicken wings, garlic mushroom and crispy wonton. I chose lemonade cake as dessert of the day.

Strangest Chinese food I've ever had... 🤢🤮

We visited 17th June and managed to get a table for 2 at short notice, it was a busy Saturday night but the service was first class and the food was excellent, the staff at Peaches are all very good, Maisie especially, we felt very welcome and they were quick to bring the food and clear away after, we ate too much food and it would have kept coming if we’d wanted more, the garlic mushrooms were fantastic and will try to leave room for the cheesecake next time we visit

Firstly want to say thank you to the lovely waitress Olga for been a fantastic host, making us feel welcome and been very efficient with our food. Food was brilliant & served with a smile everytime. Lovely place to go mainly due to the staff (ALL) specially OLGA :)

Ordered a takeaway due to the Regent Chinese being closed, absolutely awful! Obviously re-heated, watery sauces with mains, almost inedible shredded beef due to being so chewy and old. Chilli chips were undercooked and tasteless!......not a patch on the regent (Newcastle)! So disappointed after hearing...

I came here on a Wednesday evening for the eat as much as you like menu and it was very peaceful. The staff were extremely attentive and bought our food out and took our orders promptly. The food came out piping hot and not greasy...

I can't fault this place. The quality of the food is excellent. The staff are really friendly and attentive. I love the menu how you can order as many starters as you like and then move onto the mains, and again order anything you like. It's great if you want to try something new. You need to book in advance as its quite small so gets booked up quickly.

Been after a good Chinese which delivers for a while... was recommended peaches 🍑....Great service but to be honest the food wasn't great.. fresh but very blend Curry sauce was very greasy and had no real taste like Chinese curry normally doz.. not worth the money Very disappointed 😕

Amazing place! I took my other half here for our first date, with no idea it was her favourite restaurant! And of course we've been several times since and it never disappoints! We normally go for the all you can eat, which always goes well it gives you the chance to try things you may not have tried before. However unlike the run if the mill buffet restaurant, all the courses here are cooked to order, so you order as many starters as you like, and then order more once you've cleaned your plates, and when you're ready you move onto mains. All the food is beautiful, well cooked, well flavoured and there's plenty of variety to choose from. We personally love the Chicken and the Beef Satay starter. Even the fussiest will not be disappointed. Call well in advance for a reservation as it is very very popular!

Staff very welcoming and accommodated me even though booked up. Chose all you can eat menu, some of the dishes were tasty but others very bland, and with a stipulation around a clear plate prior to moving on it encouraged you to finish the poorer...

Yet another excellent meal with first rate service, it was full but the staff coped with no problem. This is why we keep coming back.

I have been going here for about 13 years now and has always been a good experience & lovely food. However, I have recently been and not had such a good experience. The staff were pleasant, however, told us that they were unable to take all the dishes away unless we ate everything. I know it says on the menu about wasting food, but when you have young children who cannot each much and also paying 25 pound per person, you should not feel like you are being force fed, due to the chef apparently complaining about waste. Fair enough, but when your coming home being really ill due to having to eat all the food it is not good. May as well go a Chinese restaurant or order a takeaway in the future so you can do as you please with the food you purchase. I am gutted to be honest because I have been going here for years, however, I do not think I will be returning. (Adding this extra comment to your reply) We spent over £120 pounds when visiting you and have been a valued customer. There were only a plate if three bbq ribs left (the child could not eat 6 ribs) and the beef squewers we were unable to eat due to them being tough (three were ate). My friend also ordered a chicken starter, and they were overcooked (burnt), however due to being told that we have to eat all the food before ordering any mains, she ate them (something she did not enjoy). From the main meal menu (the child) left most of their rice. But the adults ate majority of their food. We ate all the puddings. When going out for meals elsewhere, sometimes children leave food & adults do. I know it states ok the menu about waste, however, I feel that we ate an appropriate amount. We were all made to feel very uncomfortable and as a paying customer is really not fair. Like I said above I have been eating at your restaurant for over 13 years and always had a good experience & the food has always been pleasant. We have never previously experienced this, however on this last visit, like I say were made to feel very uncomfortable in regards to the above.

Food is amazing. Atmosphere is lovely, the staff work very hard and are so smiley and friendly. Honestly can't fault the place. Its officially my favourite restaurant and would recommend to anyone. If I could, I'd go every week.

Fantastic selection of food that tastes amazing, buffet style choice but cooked and served warm and fresh as you order with an excellent choice of dishes, and wonderful friendly staff especially Olga. We have been repeat customers since our first visit.

Went out for a family birthday bash, friendly atmosphere, lovely staff, food was so nice. And would recommend it if your in the mood for a good Chinese meal.

Recently spent over £80 on a family takeaway. Gave 90 mins notice on when we wanted it and it still wasn’t ready for another 20 minutes. No complimentary prawn crackers and am sorry to say that the food was substandard I’m afraid Won’t rush back...
