Paul's Pasty Shop in Bolton

I was been told by maney friend this was a nice traditional pastie shop and was very friendly I enter to see a nice smiling man I ordered 2 meat and potato pasties when I receive them then was cold on the inside but hot on the outside when I attempted to walk back in and get them exchanged he slammed the door in my face not happy 👎

Great pasties and great taste! One of the best around here. Always great quality and they are amazing value. I always make sure I bring some home for the freezer!

I asked for Hot pasties x 2 They was cool, badly damaged Poor quality Service not very good at all he just put my change on opposite counter top and rushed back into kitchen Shop not busy at time 😬

Excellent pasties with plenty of tasty filling and not too much pastry. Made in a more traditional style rather than the usual run of the mill pasties. Well worth a visit.

Excellent friendly and cheap can’t say any more than that! A little under seasoned but that’s the modern healthy way and you can always season it yourself once bought?

Paul’s Pasty shop is great place to buy authentic tasting pasties! But don’t miss out on the other items that Paul bakes...certainly the sausage rolls are excellent, well above the normal one buys in pie shops. I am loathe to recommend the wimberry pies otherwise there may be none left when I go! The best recommendation for Paul’s shop is the number of people who patiently queue to buy some of the best pies in Horwich

The pasties are the best we have tasted in Horwich we had the meat and potato and they were delicious first time here but it won’t be the last.Service and staff were excellent

What a fantastic pie shop, best pies since sliced bread went to try and so glad I did the meat is so tasty. Plus the staff are really helpful

The pasties from this shop are excellent. I used to think some of the other shops in the Horwich and Bolton area couldn't be beat and then I tried Pauls Pasties. The quality and flavour is really good. If you get the chance also try there apple pie on winberry pie they are a proper treat.

Saturday Night, Family Fireworks Night. We were nominated to provide the food. We chose meat and potato and Cheese pasties and a made to order Pauls Hotpot. The pasties were just as good but the Hotpot was outstanding. Cooked and seasoned to perfection. It came in a large foil tray with little pastry lids. Delicious and highly recommended.

Ive been meaning to try this place for a while as it looks like a traditional good old pasty shop but unfortunately I wont be going again. Reasonably priced pasties but lacked seasoning. The potato was hard and undercooked.

Went to Paul’s Pasty Shop today, their meat and potato pasties are amazing, thin light pasty with a delicious generous filling. They remind me of Ye Old Pasty Shop how they used to be. Definitely on par with carrs if not better. Great price as well at just £1.20 each. Their cakes are delicious, we had a iced jam and fresh cream iced finger. I will definitely be going again, might try their pies next time.

I used to wonder if this was an actual shop that the public could go in , as until recently ( before the big neon "open" sign appeared in the window ! ) it didn't particularly "look" like a shop. However , ventured inside after a good friend recommended the pasties and am so glad I did - the pasties are to die for - gone straight to the top of my favourites list . A good old fashioned Local ( yes , capital L ) shop - great produce , very friendly staff , will definitely become a regular haunt. If you're in the area , give it a try

I must say that these are the best pasties for miles around, both potato & meat and cheese!! The barm cakes are very good too as well as the Whinberry pies!!!

Call in for a pasty and thought it was one of the best I have ever tried. If you are passing Paul's pasty shop call in you will not regret it

We loved the pasties the barm cakes were great but the mince pies were to die for. We go two to three times a week now.We will be going often in the future .

Really lovely pastry and cooked to perfection. Cheese pasty was gorgeous. Reasonably priced too with good customer service.

Great little gem lovely pasties and pies loved the cake will be calling again maybe a little more seasoning salt/pepper but that could be just my taste as I do like loads of flavour would love to try a pastie barm or pastie and peas if on the menu?
