Paul's Fish and Chips in Bedford

Ordered fish and chips and a chicken shish kebab. Chips were cold, salad did not come as requested and the chicken was dry, did not eat. When I called to discuss with restaurant very rude lady at the end of the phone. Would not ever eat here again, absolutely disgusting service and food.

Poor customer service and cant send a decent meal out. Ordered large chips and pancake roll was told 8 minutes for the pancake roll I said fine as long as I'm done fresh chips. The "boss" wasn't to happy as I over heard his reply once his staff member mentioned it. And it turns out they didn't do fresh chips instead they had me wait nearly 10 minutes for chips that had already been sat there for at least 10 minutes. (I'm a chef by the wat) while the chips were sitting there so. That's a minimum of 20 minutes all altogether as well as my ride home its 25 minutes since the chips came out the fryer. It's a joke serving crap like that. Good luck finding a decent chippy anywhere let alone Paul's chippy.

Not sure about these reviews but our experience was excellent! Best fish and chips we’ve had in a long time. Fresh, hot and delicious. Very quick delivery and I asked if they’d be so kind to remove the skin which they did and wrote a little note on the paper. The mushy peas were also great! I’ve found the standard of mushy peas to vary a lot in different takeaways and these were a good consistency and did not look or taste artificial as some do. Really great service!

Unbelievable fish and chips. Lovely dog. Best fish and chips in Bedford and nicest sausage. Lovely sausage actually.

Not a happy customer, will not recommend and will never use again! Waited and thought we would double check the email of our order to find a follow up to say it had been rejected! DON’T USE waste of time 0 customer service!

As previously stated Paul's former establishment is now terrible. These people have no clue as to customer service. Which is now very poor. Not cooked to standard of before. Long waits for orders to be fulfilled. COME BACK PAUL!

Since paul left food has slowly declined ordered a large fish. Got home it was so greasy the paper had stuck the batter. The paper was swimming in grease. Food often looks reheated and not to the standard paul would keep.

As a first time customer to Paul's Fish and Chips I was hugely disappointed. The food was 25 minutes late and all had to be reheated. The chicken was very dry even before reheating and was anything but southern fired. I asked for thigh pieces and got breast and leg instead. When I phoned to find where my order was I was treated with abruptness and the lady said she would ring me back but didn't. When I rang back twice the phone was not answered. Really poor service all round. My advice is to avoid Paul's Fish and Chips.
