Arrived at 9:15pm after the Chelsea match. We were very well received. The meal was delicious. a high quality khao soi and a see ew pad. The waitress who took care of us was really nice :)

This place does not know how to handle customers with food allergy. I had an unpleasant experience with the hot-chilli food. I realised in the menu the word spice was used for the spices but also for the chilli taste and the waitress was not able to distnguish. I asked for a meal if it is spicy and they said no but when the food came it was very chilli (spicy). When I asked the waitress why did you say it is not spicy she said it was not chilli (spicy) to her. I believe a food allergy it is not a matter of what you think is chilli (spicy) or not, just a bit of it can trigger allergy. They provided some cucumber to help with the chilli but I still have symptoms and I am totally knocked out from the stomach pain. Additionally can't eat anything. Update 28.11 - I spoke with the team, and they confirmed they will start taking measurements in cases where customers have allergies or intolerances. Additionally, they offered me a voucher. As a result, I am updating my rating from 1 star to 3 stars.

We dropped in for the £16.95 set lunch with no preconceptions. Already from the well kept toilets and genuine welcome we realised this was likely to be a good choice. In fact it was even better than we imagined with full flavoured beautifully presented dishes worth way more than the modest price charged. Highly recommended. My favourite dish was the duck red curry with pineapple and lychee.

I love everything about this place .. it’s one of my favorite Thai food restaurants in London , the staff are great and the place is cozy.. Jenny was our waitress and she was extremely nice and helpful.. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting London

My dining companion chose the tomyum soup, which was great, packed with vegetables and succulent chicken. We couldn't resist ordering a side of spring rolls, which were crispy and delicious. One of the highlights of our visit was the impeccable service. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations and ensuring our glasses were never empty. To top it all off, we indulged in the Mango Sticky Rice for dessert, a sweet end to a fantastic meal. The combination of ripe mango and coconut-infused sticky rice was simply heavenly! One of my favourite restaurant so far in London! 💯 Rather unfortunate that we came after brunch, for lunch, and only managed to put down a main and a side.. which were both amazing! The fried rice was one of the best we had, with good portions, and the basil pork was too one of the best we had even in Singapore and Thailand! Staff were friendly too, definitely will return to their other branches whenever we can! 👍🏻

What a disappointment. I remember visiting this restaurant for several years pre-COVID as a regular—the food was always good, and the service was polite and efficient. Not this time round. Not only did they get our order wrong several times, but they didn’t seem to care. The food was bland and tasteless, and the bathroom was filthy. As you walk towards it, you can see the whole place is falling apart—what a pity and a complete waste of money.

We had a delicious lunch here. We tried the lunchtime deal where you get 2 meals for about £16 each. I had the Tom Yum Soup which was recommended and it did not disappoint, followed by the Duck curry which was also nice. Easy to locate, tasty food with a nice atmosphere!

I ordered Chicken Noodles and this arrived swimming in oil. I called the restaurant and they didn’t answer the phone. Waisted money

Arrived at the restaurant this evening at 22:40 and was turned away and told the restaurant is closed. The restaurant closing time on Google is 23:30 and this is also stated on the restaurant door. No reason was given for closing so early. Very disappointed. Will not be visiting again.

To say I had a phenomenal lunch here is an understatement. Incredibly delicious food, lovely staff members and a relaxing environment gave me and my partner a great experience. Before I finish my review I also have to make a special mention about the coconut and chicken soup I ordered. That bowl of soup was unreal, I could eat that every day for a year and not get bored of it.

I love this place! Like so much! Seriously, it's not just because I live right next to the restaurant (the ultimate privilege) but because I genuinely believe this is the best Thai food I have come across in the United Kingdom (and I used to live in Bangkok!) The food is exceptional, justifying the moderate-to-high end ambience (albeit there is a soft and alluring charm to the place). Simply put, when visiting Patara, you can't go wrong. With that being said I'd like to take the time to appreciate the people who work at Patara. The restaurant's staff, particularly their senior management, pay homage to Thai culture in the most respectful and elegant of ways. When visiting Patara you are reminded of the fact that Thailand is frequently referred to as 'The Land of Smiles' for a bloody good reason. Not only do they grant each customer an authentic experience, but a pleasant and kind one; quite frankly, they take care of you. I honestly can't recommend Patara (South Ken) enough, an absolute gem responsible for the forming of many fond memories during my time living in London. Here's to more to come.. see you soon.. :)

I had been craving a true Thai food experience since we left the country after a 3 week vacation and this place really hit the spot 😍 Por took great care of us, they even had great vegan options!

This restaurant was truly exceptional all around. We visited as a group of six and got to try several things from the menu. While I have not visited Thailand, we love Thai food and have visited many Thai restaurants. I can say without hesitation that this was the best Thai food I have ever had. We had one vegetarian diner in our group, who also gave the place top marks.
