It's a restaurant in the Kensington area, with a classy atmosphere and authentic taste❣️ But the temperature at which the food is served is Western = too mild for us Japanese... = Asians would prefer it if it was a little hotter⁉️ Other than that, it's delicious😋 I highly recommend this restaurant♪

We had a lovely meal here. The duck massman curry was amazing. We also tried the chor muang (dumplings stuffed with a caramelised chicken and peanut filling) but we thought the ratio was off as there was too much starchy dumpling and not enough filling.

Akshay & Sita were very good. Great service. Good suggestions. Delicious food. Tom Yum prawns and soft shell crab mango salad were treats!

Great food as always. Staff isnextremely nice. They put a lot of care and attention to customers so that they are perfectly served and pampered. As a surprise they brought me a super nice Happy birthday lettering plate with a cake...we dont know how they knew!! It was a very special moment! Big thank you to Patara South Ken team!!

Lovely food! Lovely drinks and the inside of the restaurant is quiet and well decorated! The staff are all so accommodating and welcoming, all in all a lovely evening spent for a birthday dinner! Were surprised with a cake and ice cream at the end!

I always judge a Thai restaurants by their Green Thai chicken curry and Patara Thai did not disappoint. The food was delicious and beautifully served. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The portion sizes are good and very good value to money. Very affordable. The fried sea bass was amazing. The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated and has a really nice vibe. I’ll definitely come back again.

I recently tried a massaman Chicken curry that had some truly delicious flavors. The rich, creamy sauce was perfectly spiced with that signature balance of sweet and savory, and the potatoes and peanuts added great texture and depth. However, I couldn’t enjoy it as much as I’d hoped because the chicken still had the skin on it. For me, chicken in a curry just shouldn’t have the skin—it altered the texture in a way that didn’t isn't for me. I know that’s a personal preference, though, and for those who don’t mind the skin, this dish is really nice. If you’re okay with chicken skin, I’d say it’s worth trying! My Mrs had Thai green curry with skinless chicken, so next time I will get that as that was also very nice.

I think Patara need to have a good hard look at themselves and ask if they want to stay true to their Thai heritage and culture when it comes to food or be a yet-another Thai restaurant that is average at best and uninspired at worst. The food was very average and disappointing. I would not go back.

I went here with my family and I had a great time. Food was amazing, it’s the best Thai I’ve ever been to. I took shrimp curry and green curry. They were both delicious and abundant. Service was excellent and the staff was extremely nice.

Lovely staff and really good food

Arrived at 9:15pm after the Chelsea match. We were very well received. The meal was delicious. a high quality khao soi and a see ew pad. The waitress who took care of us was really nice :)

The service is excellent. The staff are very polite. The tom yum soup was delicious. The rest of my order was quite good. The prices are very high.

This place does not know how to handle customers with food allergy. I had an unpleasant experience with the hot-chilli food. I realised in the menu the word spice was used for the spices but also for the chilli taste and the waitress was not able to distnguish. I asked for a meal if it is spicy and they said no but when the food came it was very chilli (spicy). When I asked the waitress why did you say it is not spicy she said it was not chilli (spicy) to her. I believe a food allergy it is not a matter of what you think is chilli (spicy) or not, just a bit of it can trigger allergy. They provided some cucumber to help with the chilli but I still have symptoms and I am totally knocked out from the stomach pain. Additionally can't eat anything. Update 28.11 - I spoke with the team, and they confirmed they will start taking measurements in cases where customers have allergies or intolerances. Additionally, they offered me a voucher. As a result, I am updating my rating from 1 star to 3 stars.

We dropped in for the £16.95 set lunch with no preconceptions. Already from the well kept toilets and genuine welcome we realised this was likely to be a good choice. In fact it was even better than we imagined with full flavoured beautifully presented dishes worth way more than the modest price charged. Highly recommended. My favourite dish was the duck red curry with pineapple and lychee.

I love everything about this place .. it’s one of my favorite Thai food restaurants in London , the staff are great and the place is cozy.. Jenny was our waitress and she was extremely nice and helpful.. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting London

One of my favourite restaurant so far in London! 💯 Rather unfortunate that we came after brunch, for lunch, and only managed to put down a main and a side.. which were both amazing! The fried rice was one of the best we had, with good portions, and the basil pork was too one of the best we had even in Singapore and Thailand! Staff were friendly too, definitely will return to their other branches whenever we can! 👍🏻
