This is a great place to eat whatever your dietary preferences. Excellent food, great cocktails and amazing service. The vibe is great too.

Really very tasty food. My only issue is that the portion size is 25% too mean. Better to have something that's £20, not £16, but 25% bigger. If you're coeliac, this place is good so long as you avoid the starters that come with pitta bread. Otherwise very clearly labelled and plenty of choices.

Very nice experience. The staff was polite, service quick and food was flying out of the kitchen. Everything was freshly made with care and attention to detail. Flavours were interesting and I really enjoyed a little creative spin on most classics. I would definitely come again.

A good place to eat if you are in the area, even so the prices are high for the quality and quantity they offer. The menu recommends 3 dishes per person, for us 2 was enough.

Lovely food and place to meet a friend for dinner. We visited the Soho restaurant several years ago and were so impressed we came to the Kensington restaurant.

Had a lovely meal with family here before a concert at the RAH. Bute street was nice, and the decor inside the restaurant was cosy but uncluttered. I had the lamb shoulder which was delicious and very tender. We also had chicken, cauliflower, rice and some other dishes and enjoyed all of them. We felt it was reasonably priced too. Would definitely return.

Excellent restaurant! Very refined cuisine in small quantities and at low prices for more sharing. The best of personalized and sublimated Mediterranean cuisine.

Lovely restaurant we happened to walk by and decided to pop in. Food was delicious, service attentive and atmosphere relaxed. The shaved fennel with pear and orange salad was really nice but so was the rabbit. Would recommend and go again. Sorry for not taking any pics

One of our fav places in London. The food is delicious, service is super quick, and the vibe is upbeat. Only downside is that you have to book in advance as last minute tables are rarely available :)

Thank you for an excellent team Christmas lunch; a great range of options on the menu which was all delicious and very reasonably priced for the postcode! Would happily recommend for small groups, although we also saw plenty of couples and individual diners too. Will be returning!

We ate very well here - they accommodated us without a reservation and made us feel welcome. We chose the three starter option and had some wine and coke. Sat by the window overlooking the hussle and bussle of the small street. I really liked it here and would recommend it. Many vegetarian options as well!!

Dear Ceru, I hope this message finds you well. Today, we dined at your South Kensington restaurant and, while we enjoyed most of the meal, we were extremely disappointed with the dessert experience. We ordered the Jerome’s Birds Nest, expecting it to be served with rose water as described. However, it was served with vinegar instead, which was an unpleasant surprise. Unfortunately, we had already taken a few bites before realizing the mistake. To make matters worse, we were still charged for the dessert, even though it was replaced afterward. What made this experience even more frustrating is that my brother has been unwell, and this mistake has left all of us struggling to get the unpleasant taste of vinegar out of our mouths. It has overshadowed what should have been a lovely dining experience. We wanted to bring this to your attention and hope this feedback helps to improve the experience for future guests. We can say that the restaurant is influenced by Turkish food. I think, lamb shoulder (signature food) and jerom’s bird nest (desert) are way more sour than they should be. The other meals we ate were so average. Also, the waiters' hasty attitude was very disturbing.

We were walk-ins on our last night in London. The menu looked amazing but seating was sparse. The staff moved things around to make room for us. Staff was excellent and very accommodating. The food was fantastic, very flavorful. This is a “must-try” if you are in the area

Delicious. Staff excellent. Relaxed but efficient

Staying in Kensington for the night and the reviews of these guys was such we had to try them; glad we did, we ordered too much which wasn’t the restaurants fault, they were lovely and let us pack it up as takeaway. Staff were lovely and friendly, homemade lemonade and beer were highlights as was the Mediterranean bread with lovely dips. Very busy so always worth booking. We will be back when next in area.

Had a lovely dinner here. My sister and I are coeliac and it was so nice to have the whole menu to choose from as all gluten free apart from the breads. Friendly, helpful service and lots of flavourful dishes. Highly recommend coeliac or not :)

Hidden gem in south ken. The food was incredibly fresh and fun. Service was spot on, attentive but not intrusive. Our waiter was also very knowledgable of the wine list and talked us through the options. Lovely selection and the Lebanese and Greek wines were delicious. Would highly recommend. The squid was the favourite.

What a breath of fresh air! Delicious food and great service.

The place has a very nice ambiance. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The best part is the good food! Not only was it very healthy, it was full of flavor and you can tell it was made fresh. The fresh lemonade was extraordinary with a nice kick for the start. We had zucchini fritters which was my one of my favorites in the vegetarian option. The halloumi with the dip and red peppers has a new incredible flavor, must try as well. For the meat, we had the lamb shoulder which was their signature dish. The meat was very tender and bursting with flavor. The spiced chicken was soft and served with a lentil. Definitely as must try place and we will definitely come back again.

Lovely selection of Eastern Meditarranean food. We liked all we tried.

The meal was fresh, light, and delicious. I highly recommend the zucchini fritters, as they were very addictive. The lamb was absolutely amazing as well.

I love this place. The food is amazing, especially the signature lamb. Every dish I've tried has an amazing combination of flavours. The Levare Amber beer works wonders on the palette when combined with the food. Hamara dip is wonderful, as is the asparagus with Zhug. For dessert, try the flavours of baklava ice cream. It's to die for!

This was probably the best restaurant we ate at during our recent trip to London. Mezze/small plate portions were perfect for sharing to experience the whole vegetarian menu. Everything was delicious. Lovely wine menu. Really great service and the restaurant is beautiful

Sauteed Portobello & Shiitake Mushrooms was a next level dish, accustomed with Green Grape of Gori made the evening perfect! Much appreciated, will be looking forward to another visit 💫

Terrific food, bold and stunning flavours

Everything about Ceru is 5-star from the Lamb Shoulder signature dish (not to be missed.....my St Peter's Gate meal!) to the unusual wines from the Levant region and beyond. We also had the watermelon and Feta salad, which I highly recommend. Why not finish the meal with a Beirut Blanc. Can't wait to go back to what has become my favourite restaurant 😋

The staff are the nicest people on planet earth. Food was delicious and hearty. I accidentally ordered a dish that contained something I don’t eat and they took it away no problem and didn’t even charge me for it!!!

Superrb casual dining in South Kensington - great sharing plates - the salads are amazing (particularly orange, pear and fennel), the Fadi is a great starter and don't forget to leave room for the darjk chocolate mousse with ginger and tehina

This is a gem! The food is fresh, tasty, healthy and delicious! Also, unlike many restaurants serving food from the Levant it wasn't at all greasy.

Chicken in unreal!! Its imported fresh from france and they go to smithfield market a few times a week to get it. We had a one year old with us and the staff were very good with him, he also loved the food especially the mash.

Definetely not value for money! Cocktails were nice. We tried Octapus: very tasty but it was 17 pounds for a tiny piece. Shish tauk: chicken was good. The sauce had too much dill. Chicken tenders: chicken was good. The sauce had too much lemon. Aubergine : very tasty but tiny portions. Pepper dip was very tasty! They did not accept Amex, which was surprising given the amount of money they charge for the food.

Food was bland. I ordered the spicy fried chicken and the rice. Service and atmosphere was great. I don’t recommend if your looking for good food.

Very friendly service. We ordered lamb and chicken. The lamb was very tender, the rice had a bit too many spices. Asparagus was also tasty. Portions are small, but quite enough to eat. We also ordered a three-in-one meze - it was also very tasty, especially with pepper. They waited a little longer for tauk than for lamb. The menu includes a service charge of 12.5% ​​of the total check

Lovely food and very different.

The only reason this isn’t a 5 star is because the salads weren’t perfect. But this was so bloody good. Highlights were: sticky aubergine, polenta and feta fries, lamb shoulder, and baklava ice cream. Genuinely amazing stuff.

Delicious food. It is a "sharing" restaurant, you choose 2 to 3 dishes and then share amongst yourselves. I live this idea, but it is not the first time I go to a restaurant like this and my fests do not understand the concept. Anyway the food was delicious and I look forward to going back again

Amazing food. The best variety of vegetarian food I've ever had. The taste and textures were amazing. Jason and sindu are amazing! Sindu accommodated us with a table even on a houseful day. This is our second time here and we will be coming back again.

Amazing dinner! This was our first time with Levant cuisine and it was delicious! Our table wasn't ready at our reservation time and the host politely explained why and offered suggestions where we could wait. Our wait wasn't too long after our reservation and the host came over during our meal to thank us again and apologize for the delay. Really appreciated this! Our server was helpful and patient with us as we tried to order and offered suggestions on what to order for children. Food was delicious. I highly recommend!

Knowledgeable and charming team. Delicious food and a relaxing atmosphere. Although we didn’t order much and stayed a long while they were very tolerant of this. Recommended.

Went around 5:55 p.m. without reservation; - The receptionist asked me if I had a reservation, I said no, she went to see her superior asking if she could let me in, even though the restaurant was almost empty; - The service was great and well coordinated, they even offered me wifi; - It is a shame to see the origin of certain imported products, -2 stars. - The Halal mention is not indicated in the menu; - Food is OK, nothing exceptional; - You cannot change the tip amount, it gives you the terminal directly with the large amount.

Group of 6 for dinner. First time here and it was excellent! This is a tapas style, small plate restaurant which means you can try several different things. The waiter was friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The lamb shoulder was delicious. The waiter said the octopus was the best he'd had. He wasn't lying! It was so tender and tasty. Not chewy at all. Interesting cocktails too. Definitely a great choice for our meat with friends. We'll be back again soon! Kevin and Gian

As someone with celiac disease, Ceru was a terrific option while traveling in London. Sindu was an excellent server and the food was delicious. A must go in my opinion!

Laid back atmosphere with amazing food

Visited this place for the first time without a reservation (on a Friday) and it was worth the wait. Service was great, everyone was very helpful and friendly. The menu is super extensive and veggie friendly. All the food was very flavourful and filling, and we liked being able to choose multiple dishes in one sitting for variety. Recommend the lamb shoulder, fried calamari, and sticky aubergine.

Our restaurant of choice for catching with friends for a drink and food. Must have been my fifth/sixth visit! Such great service and delicious fresh food. The lamb is their signature dish, so make sure you try it - but everything else is delicious too! Will be back again soon.

Great celiac-safe diverse menu of small plates. Menu is 99% gluten free--only thing on premises that has gluten is the pita bread and they have no airborne flour in the restaurant. Staff were really inviting and friendly. The adults loved everything. The kids, who aren't as familiar with Mediterranean food, loved the hummus, Shish Taouk, and homemade lemonade.

We had such a great experience and meal here. Was so great to have a place that had naturally vegetarian and gluten free options available! We had an amazing Lebanese Rosé as well! Would definitely recommend Ceri!
