Almost didn't stop here and so glad we did. Helpful service. Friendly. Zucchini feta cakes were stunning. We had the lamb shoulder, trip dip and asparagus as well. All excellent. Small wine list but helpful service to navigate it. Would highly recommend.

Good Mediterranean restaurant, the concept is small maze dishes - the size was generous for small dishes, they recommend three per person and that was a lot of food I liked the food, from the lamb to the shakshuka they were well seasoned and quite delicious We did get one pudding which sorts off ruined the food experience as it felt like the sort of a pudding one buys from an external supplier and it wasn’t nearly as fresh as the rest of the food - we should have skipped the pudding We were unlucky that the coffee machine was broken so they had no hot coffee for either coffee or tea. They also do not brew Turkish coffee so we had to skip the hot drinks The service was okay, I believe they had two people serving at lunch All in all solid lunch and I’ll want to come back and try more dishes

Wonderful service and excellent food

Recently diagnosed with Coeliacs and this was my first time eating out. Excellent food . I enjoyed a passion fruit (non alcoholic) cocktail followed by lamb and broccoli, a pudding and a coffee. I had booked on line and when I arrived the menu was explained to me which was reassuring. Most of their menu items are gluten free. I was very happy eating here and will go again. Well done team!!!!

I think the best way to describe it is “an expensive fast food”. In case you wonder why: - Wait between the order and the food at your table possibly around 5 minutes. Most (I guess all) food is already made and warmed up - Rushed to order and to leave as soon as finished to eat - Small portions and an expensive bill - Lack of genuine atmosphere (pretty place with tables very close to each other)

This was my favorite restaurant in London, I ate here 3 times during my week in London and tried several of the items. The lamb is the best I have ever had. The owner and staff are so nice and made me feel very welcome. They have outside seating in a pedestrian area and the inside has tables and a bar where you can look out the window. Everything is al carte but the portions are large - 2 dishes are plenty, 3 dishes will fill you up. The food is savory, not spicy, with lots of different flavors. The menu describes each dish.

Delicious food, a little expensive for what you get, but very friendly and helpful staff, and a good wine selection.

Best Mediterranean food I’ve had, hands down. Everything was delicious, however the lamb was the highlight of the meal for us! Great portions, delicious drinks, lovely little outdoor seating area. From the U.S, and will definitely be coming back the next time we’re in London!

This wonderful place, tucked away in a little street in Kensington deserves a visit, maybe even a detour. Great dishes in a middle eastern style (try the succulent lamb!), attentive service and good value for money will make for an enjoyable and satisfying lunch or dinner.

Made a reservation through the website and asked if it was at all possible to give us an outside table as it was a special occasion (they can't guarantee them) so was delighted to arrive and find they'd given us a lovely table outside. Gorgeous sunny London evening so the street was buzzing with diners and chatter from the nearby pub. Service with a smile throughout, and dishes arrived promptly. We ordered the hamara dip & pitta, followed by squid, lamb, aubergines and feta & polenta fries to share, and it was more than enough for the two of us. Only slight niggle for me was the squid rings were quite greasy, perfectly cooked but more oil in the batter than I like. Cocktails were good too and felt the price point was good for the location and quality of food/service. Thank you all again for a lovely start to our evening.

Small plates for the price...not worth it

Delicious tapas style menu, kind staff, and a lovely outdoor seating area in a pedestrian only street. As a tired tourist, I was thrilled to find this wonderful little restaurant only a few minutes walk from the V&A museum. Highly recommended!

Excellent "Eastern Mediterranean" style restaurant: Turkish, Lebanese, Cypriot dishes, a diverse mix of dishes. Quality food and tight portions. With 2-3 plates you eat. I recommend ordering a variety if you are a large group and trying everything. The battered squid was surprisingly spectacular. Attentive service. Highly recommended. We leave at 30 euros per person. Varied wine list.

Went to the newly opened one in Farringdon. Ever had a meal that genuinely leaves you speechless? That was me at Ceru We kicked things off with a super refreshing watermelon lemonade so refreshing. The king prawns in a spicy tomato sauce and the braised octopus with citrus harissa glaze — both insane. And don’t even get me started on those spiced polenta fries… I’m still dreaming about them.Dessert was next-level too: The labneh cheesecake with caramelised figs was pure joy. After five days in London I can say that it has been the best choice for lunch: relaxed and calm atmosphere, exceptional service and 10 food!!! I would return without hesitation...

The lamb was dry and not good! The cauliflower is so spicy it tastes bitter! The undercooked potato! On top of all that, they are the ones who set your tip!!!!!!!! I've never seen this in my life

The staff were fantastic from start to finish. Friendly and helpful with the right balance of checking in but not overdoing it! The food was delicious! The apple salad was one of the nicest things I’ve eaten for a long time and so was the lamb shoulder. I was only sad we didn’t arrive in time to try the home made flavoured lemonade before it had run out because - if it’s anything like the rest of what we had - it must be great! The decor is lovely too - it’s on a great little street with lots of other cool things around it but it’s kind of the jewel in the crown for me!

Last minute booking on a day out in London with kids, I chose Ceru as the cuisine sounded right up my street. The lamb shoulder and Hamara were nice. However, there wasn't much for the kids, some dishes were kindly made with less spice (no seasoning whatsoever), which kids didn't eat. The cauliflower was undercooked and thus very very hard to eat. Overall not sure if it was the dishes we chose or just the chef having a bad day but we weren't impressed.

Personally, there were 5 of us and none of us liked the food.

We came across the restaurant while strolling, it looked interesting and there was a free seat outside. We chose 5 courses from the menu to share and were thrilled.

Delicious Mediterranean food! We had a mix of dishes and all of them were outstanding. Fast service and high quality food that is unique and fresh. Our favourite was the trio of dips with warm pita. Highly recommend.

Great little spot. Good food, great prices for London

On our last night in London, we wandered into Ceru South Ken lured by the delicious smells wafting out the door. The kindly reception by the owner (who managed to squeeze us in without a reservation) and Mathew (the exemplary waiter who recommended dishes he thought we'd enjoy) began a wonderful dining experience. The lamb shoulder and chicken were delicious, well-cooked, and beautifully presented. The prices were reasonable for quality food and service. Absolutely delightful all around!

Every dish was overwhelmed by citrus-based sauces or glazes, so much acid that it masked the natural flavors of the meat and seafood. Couldn’t really enjoy the ingredients themselves. Just not my thing.

Me and my husband had a delicious meal here on our trip to London. The small plates format to the menu make it really fun to try different dishes and everything we got was excellent! The basil lemonade was the best lemonade I’ve ever had. The slow cooked lamb is amazing and the apple and mint salad we had was so simple and refreshing. The restaurant is also so beautiful and clean inside. Def be sure to get there early because this place really fills up.

My friend and I had a superb meal at Ceru, the food and drinks were fabulous and very reasonably priced. My friend is vegetarian so we had all the veggie dishes , and were spoilt for choice. We stayed far too long, and had to be very politely moved to a different table to finish our mint teas. We will be back, with our families, and another friend has just booked for lunch on my recommendation. Ceru is an absolute gem. A quick update to say that I returned with 2 friends, and we had an absolutely wonderful lunch. Service and food were excellent and Bhawana (did I get that right?) looked after us very well. Ceru is an absolute gem.

Superb food. Lamb shoulder and chicken skewer (Shish Taouk) dishes personal favourites, along with their homemade lemonade. Owners are lovely and waitress was too.

The food was amazing, I especially tried the beer they produced and the Lebanese wine was very successful, I wouldn't give up on red, it was the waiter's favorite.

My friend and I went here for dinner on Sat 8 March. We hadn’t booked and the place was quite full but we were assured a table was becoming free any minute and it did! We’ve been before several times and it’s now our go to restaurant in this area because the food is always fresh and delicious, the wine choice is interesting, the atmosphere laid back and fun, and the service is superb. The food and service are fantastic! CERU is my go to in London and I absolutely love it!

I used to visit Ceru regularly, but after taking my mum and sister recently, our experience was disappointing. We found a dead cockroach in the dining room, and both the food and service were far worse than before. The staff forgot our bread and beer, and seemed inattentive overall. It’s a shame to see such a decline in quality.

We had a very tasty lunch today, everything cooked to perfection and the service was exceptional. I can highly recommend this restaurant and will be back very soon!

Difficult to fault Ceru. Seated within 5 minutes without a reservation despite the place seeming busy with all tables and places taken. We were given a bench seat next to others but this was fine for us. Mediterranean fusion tapas style food explained by a friendly waiter, service exceptional, food delicious with enough variety for all tastes and restrictions. We ordered 3 dishes each too share and this was plenty.

Amazing experience - excellent food and wine list. This place was amazing! Sindu took excellent care of our table - bravo. I had the fennel orange salad, lamb shoulder, and zucchini fritter. All were outstanding, excellent flavor and seasoning. The wines were all Greek, Lebanese or Georgian - super cool! If you’re in south Kensington and don’t go here… your loss! Expect £30-40 for food, wine list was very reasonable. Regarding dietary restrictions - team was extremely knowledgeable about dietary restrictions and even made some cross-contamination warnings. I am gluten free and had trouble choosing from SO many GF options, a rare experience. I would imagine a vegetarian person would also have many options.

Really great place for a meal - what really sells the place is the wide range of new world wines you don't normally see in other places. When was the last time you drank a sauvignon blanc from Lebanon?

A restaurant where every dish is a delight, expertly blending Mediterranean flavors to create incredible tastes. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we sampled. The staff was welcoming and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. Each item we ordered was absolutely delicious, and the freshness of their pitas is truly remarkable. This is a spot you absolutely must try!

Great atmosphere, amazing food and friendly staff but the service felt a little rushed at times. Had a few sips left in my drink but it was whisked away before I could say anything. Dishes are sharing style which worked very well for us and the recommended amount left us very satisfied.

Not the most comfortable eatery around, service was functional if lacking a little warmth; however, they were busy. And no wonder the food was exceptional. Every dish was packed with distinct flavour and pleasant surprises. This area of London is packed with East Mediterranean restaurants, and it is hard to stand out, but this is how you do it. An additional nice touch was the sensiblely priced regional wine list. There is cheaper, but for what you get, I have absolutely no complaints, the few extra quid easily worth it.
