Palki in Kensington and Chelsea

We were looking for an Indian restaurant near where we were staying on our visit to London and we found Palki. We had a very good dinner, spectacular food, fast and friendly service and all at a very reasonable price, highly recommended. On our next visit to London we will undoubtedly repeat the experience. Very pleasantly surprised. Absolutely delicious food quickly prepared to a perfect temperature. Lovely staff & cozy warm ambiance to invite family, friends or go on a non-alcoholic date (or BYO Wine). The Saag Aloo, Garlic Chicken, Paratha, Pilau Rice with a tea pot was WOW!!

Absolutely delicious meal! My friend and I got the chicken tikka masala and the butter chicken as well as the garlic naan. The food was amazing and decadent for a very decent price. We highly recommend. The staff were very friendly and gave us a complimentary chocolate as well as directions to our next location.

My go to Indian takeaway spots, Bangladeshi owned. Being Bengali I can certify this as authentic great tasting cuisine. Lamb biryanis come with a veggie curry for the lunch time special, the portion alone is good enough for two. I do also love their daal and tandoori chicken, still juicy and not dry at all.

Stepping into Palki feels like walking into a big, warm Indian hug – complete with the irresistible aroma of spices! The food here isn’t just good; it’s mind-blowingly delicious. The butter chicken could probably solve world peace, and the naan? Let’s just say I’d fight for the last piece. But the best part? The people. The staff treats you like family—if your family insists on feeding you until you burst and makes you laugh the entire time. Whether it’s recommending the perfect dish or just sharing a joke, their friendliness is as authentic as the food. Come hungry, leave with a smile (and maybe a new best friend). Highly recommend!

The food is sooo good, everything was fresh and well balanced, the lamb korai (i think thats whats it called) is soo good. The owner and employee is so friendly and welcoming!

This place is a well hidden gem in heart of Ladbroke grove. The food is scrumptious with every dish full of amazing flavour. The staff are very helpful and extremely knowledgeable in picking the best dish to suit individual pallet. Well worth the visit and very fairly prices with excellent portion size.

A small independent family ran business it seems. All dishes had their own flavours, and thankfully not oily. Really fairly priced, the staff were very friendly and attentive. Overall would highly recommend giving it a go :) Bon appetit.

My first visit was by myself, and I had chicken tikka masala with garlic naan for lunch. It's so nice. End my second visit was with friends for dinner. The mango lassi and biriyani were also delicious. The owner is very kind and the restaurant has a warm and comfortable atmosphere.

Ordered Garlic Chilli Chicken today. Absolutely stunning. If anyone looking spicy Bangladeshi food, you must try Palki. Usually in any Bangladeshi/Indian cuisine you might found the sweet flavour in the recipe but here I must I was amazed by the flavour authenticity. Staff are very welcoming and the environment was quiet which I liked. Highly recommended. P.S. food was too good that I forgot to take a snap 😜

We had the Chicken Xacuti and a few of the starters which were delicious. The staff were lovely too! Couldn't recommend this place enough!

EXACTLY what you want from a neighbourhood Indian restaurant. Lovely staff, delicious curries full of rich flavour, and wonderful fresh naan. The first time I went I opted for a conventional order—butter chicken—but after chatting with staff and taking their recommendations I’ve also enjoyed the chicken korai, the lamb hariyali, and the very hot gosht kalia. Notting Hill desperately needs more places like this.

Been coming for 5 weeks now. Prawn puri is a must. Ask for a touch of nagga chillie. This ola e is awsome if you love this type of food. Will be coming back time after time. Abdul ali is a great host. I will post food pictures soon

Best Indian food I’ve had in a long time

The chicken curry with medium spice was awesome with the special fried rice. The veg samosas as starters with the special mint and other flavors chutney was a brilliant appetizer. The ambience would need improvement over time.

Great find. The food was full of flavour and generous portion sizes. Service was very good with the waiter being able to help us with getting the right dish for me and my friend. Small family run business which obviously knows what they’re doing as it got busy instead and constant deliveries going out. Recommend going here because of the personalised approach to making your dish, but the menu also covers most bases. Good value for good food - what’s not to like.

The guy that served us was amazing. Funny, efficient and obviously very good at his job. Food was very good, came out quickly and was well priced. Definitely somewhere to visit for good food and great service!

Delicious food, we had the paneer with green masala, the sumander ki khajana, and some naan. Also poppadom with chutney. Everything was very good. The garlic naan could use a bit more garlic but that's only if we're picking nits. We will be back!

We had a delicious meal at Palki tonight! It is a quiet spot with a gracious host and super yummy food. We had a mango Lassi with Chicken Tikka Biryanj, Lamb Vindaloo, Aloo Gobi, Chana Masala, and Garlic Naan. We loved every single thing! Highly recommend!

Our family with two teenage kids visited London for a few days and as we are all big fans of Indian food we took the opportunity and went to an Indian restaurant in England. As we regularly visit Indian food, we even cook Indian food ourselves, it is not easy to really suprise us and make us very happy. The food here is really very delicious. We ordered to meals from the "chefs recommandation" that brought a smile onto our face. My son ordered a Chicken Tikka Masalla which was good but compared to the other meals a bit more simple and it tasted a bit too much after tomatoes. Fazit. A great restaurant with very delicious food at a fair price with very friendly owner and staff. We will definetely go there a again next time we are in London. We were offered not to pay if we did not like the food if on the other side we would evaluate the restaurant. In the end we gladly paid the food and here the review is. Unfortunately in Frankfurt/Germany we do not have an Indian restaurant with can top this.

We had a very good experience having dinner at Palki. Delicious food, great service and very friendly staff — they were super patient explaining the dishes for us and providing us with suggestions. We ordered 4 dishes + sides and everything was delicious and very well prepared. The price is also very affordable, couldn't recommend more!

We’re in London for only a few days and found this little gem by accident, and we’re glad we did. We enjoyed delightfully friendly service and delicious dishes and left fully satisfied in all regards. The dining room was empty when we arrived but gradually filled with local regulars who the owner happily greeted by name, a sure sign that Palki knows what they’re doing and are appreciated in their neighborhood. We will keep it on our list of places to return to on our next trip to the UK.

Ordered via the phone directly as booking with just eat was to much hassle. We missed an order days earlier trying to order on just eat so were down as having a cancelled order. We explained what happened and was treated so well by Palki cruise India. Our food was delivered in 15 minutes from the time we placed the order. The meal was so good 10 out of 10. We 100% recommend them.

Wow, this was the best Indian I’ve ever had. Indian is one of my favourite cuisines so I don’t say this lightly. I ordered keema rice, peshwari naan (which was insanely good), korma & lamb samosa. KEEP YOUR CHEF!

The curry here is the best curry that I’ve ever had. Chicken tikka masala is quite good too, probably fits Londoners appetite quite well. Hospitable owner, exceptional service, good value for money. Everything is so perfect, sadly there were surprisingly little dining in at that night. The owner recommended lamb chop bhuna when we were having the food, probably gonna go for it again. Excellent.

This restaurant is so nice, from the interior to the food. I’ve ordered butter chicken and garlic Naan , and let me just tell you it’s was so delicious, and flavourful. The garlic naan is super fluffy and flavourful ( ◠‿◠ ) Deffo recommend to come visit this restaurant and the food price and quality is amazing and they offer halal food and have a nice dessert selection as well as icecream/kulfi ✨🤗

What a find! Absolutely delicious food: Garlic Chicken, Chicken Shashlick and Aloo Gobi Really taste the fresh herbs and spices. The Naan was beautifully soft. The sizzling Chicken was wonderfully smoky. No alcohol but I believe it's ok to bring your own. We went very early so quite quiet. Service was super friendly. Will definitely be going back.

The staff were extremely hospitable and friendly. The food was phenomenal and had amazing flavors that are hard to replicate. The different naan and rice flavors were all amazing. All the dishes we tried (lamb biryani, hariyali lamb, lamb korai, lamb bahari, and butter chicken) were very tasty. All in all a very good experience. We’ll be sure to come back when we visit London again.

I travel to London from Chicago, USA and always make sure to stop here. Their food is exactly what I like and places at home just don’t get it quite right like Palki. I’ve been coming since 2017 when they were located up the road, and it’s my favorite meal each trip - their lamb vindaloo has the perfect balance of spice heat and flavor. I find myself wishing I could get their food in Chicago, when the local places fail me. Incredibly nice, friendly staff and they seem to do a good takeout job as well as dine in. I cannot wait to return again!
